Lilac Bush: TS3 to TS4 & Pocci’s Lilacs

Sims 4, Base game compatible | 3 original swatches from Pocci’s lilacs | found in plants | This item is high-poly

Lilacs are very special to me, they remind me of my mother. This is an item that I wanted so badly in my own game. I was surprised that though there are some beautiful lilac deco by Pocci (@serenebluesims) that you can find HERE, & HERE, there was no lilac bush for outdoors. Pocci has given me permission to use her lilacs mesh for this item, to replace the original flower part of the TS3 item. Many thank yous, Pocci! ❤️ (Make sure to check out the rest of Pocci’s CC at the above handle, her creations are very beautiful (including many more flowers CC that you *will want*) some of my favorite CC items that I have in my own game. A note about the TS3 branches: I found this item a very long time ago and had it saved in a folder for when I could possibly do this project. It has no creator name in the file anywhere, all I can see is that it is a sims3pack file. This item very well may be a TS2 to TS3 conversion, that I have converted. I would like to credit the original creator of this item, so if anyone recognizes it, please please let me know. I have searched for quite a long time today for it and have had no luck.

SIMS 4 - STREET PLANTER DECO ONLY - HORSE RANCH REQUIRED

The Street Planter is a really nice addition to the game from the Horse Ranch EP, only it's originally only a World object, and therefore not buyable.

I have made it buyable, and added a bunch of recolours.

The original colour is the first brown swatch with a dark gray plaque on the back. I don't really know why they put the plaque on the back, but I left it that way to make it easier to use and have the plaque not show. You can easily have it show by turning the planter.

Each colour wood has 4 versions:

1 - no leaves in soil, dark gray plaque

2 - no leaves in soil, brown plaque

3 - leaves in soil, dark gray plaque (original)

4 - leaves in soil, brown plaque

There are 15 colours of wood in all 4 versions, for 60 swatches. I was only going to make browns and grays, but I thought I ( and hopefully you) would like other colours for decorating as well.

Something of note with this planter is it is not functional for planting herbs, food, etc. That's the downside.

The upside is you don't need moveobjects on in order to place them over each other, or to put trees, plants, and other objects inside them! You can see this in the images 😁

Set contains the original trios, and edited single versions of each besides the lily, since it is only one stalk. I have added some extra swatches to the mums because they are a hearty Autumn flower and should have some Autumn swatches.

The single flowers can be used in empty flower pots by raising them with the keyboard (0 and 9 on mine, but I use a non-english alphabet keyboard)

It’s officially Fall Sunday in the Chill Save as of this update, and that means we are wrapping up the Valicer Granite Falls vacation and heading back home! But not without a few final morning hurrahs from the trio:

-->Smiler finished adding mods to Incredible Sports and went for another fish, catching a walleye for plasma pack purposes

-->Once Victor and Alice got up, I decided the three should play a final game of horseshoes together to see the vacation out! (Alice stalking over mid-breakfast, in fact -- I had her release a somber howl to get rid of the spare Fury near the end.) Again, nobody definitively “won,” but they all had a good time, with both Alice and Smiler flirting with Victor between turns. :) Love me a bit of Valicer content.

-->After they were all done with horseshoes, I went looking for some final unidentified plants for Victor to pick up (managing to get him past the first milestone of the Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration), then had him and Smiler do a bit of fishing at a different spot than normal while Alice did a bit of scavenging for werewolf XP. Victor got himself another nice salmon while Alice found some turquoise. Not a bad way to end their time in Granite Falls, I think!

But yes, before too long 8:30 AM rolled around, and it was time to send the gang back home. And what awaited them back there, you ask?

The Sims 2 For Rent - CC EXPANSION PACK

Last week the Sims 4 got a new pack, this week Sims 2 players get that same pack! In a collaboration with @platinumaspiration and @tvickiesims and a HUGE assist from @episims, we bring you "The Sims 2 For Rent CC Expansion Pack!"

This is a large set, and advisable that it does not get merged even further than it already is! - I ran into some issues when trying to do this!

When you explore this pack, please take a look at the marble ring rug, it has some surprisingly cute rug swatches! I put a swatch in it to remove the marbles themselves, so you have a cute small rug! - I only mention this as I was going to bin the rug off once uploaded, but then I found it had some lovely swatches!

FUNCTIONALITY

So most of the items will function as they should and intended as. Its just not just deco items.

There is two collection files included, separated into build buy! Please note that fences and stairs and spandrels cant be but into a collection!

The squatty toilet that took me over 12 hours to make, yeah they squat, animation can be a bit bouncy but such is life. This toilet also can be flushed, get dirty and is cleanable!

Outdoor plants are seasonal!

Counters are animated with insides built, there is no drawer on the counter, I did not want to change the shape of the unit, and saw EA did the same - ignore the fact they grab something from a non existent drawer

Wardrobes have interiors elements, and have working doors!

Each Kettle have two versions, choose only one, one for the colour traits mod / one 'normal'. They function as Tea makers! Huazzah!

Spandrels in build mode are classified as fences. I made a variant with fence / no fence.

Several of the larger deco pieces such as the Arch Gate, or umbrella are actually lights!

Radiators act like radiators!

The Aircon Unit is completely functional, doesn't lower bills, but it does lower sims temperatures!

"Water Heaters" act like solar panels, they get money off your bills!

The Electrical Fuse box has 2 versions, I kept them both in, one wall deco and one functions as a burglar alarm - I wanted more alarms.

Most Sofas / Chairs have morphs!

Slots added to the Vanity and Bathroom Cabinet!

FENCES / SPANDRELS / STAIRS OH MY!

I have included swatch images of each of the spandrels, fences and stairs and labelled them to match, this is so that you can go in and take out any of the swatches you do not want. This is because there are lot of new fences and the menu can feel cluttered with them in for some people.
