Yeah, ok. I NEED to talk about Childe in the 4.2 archon quest.

First of all - whatever happened to his vision malfunctioning? This was the first reason why he gave his vision to the traveler for safekeeping. Since it was malfunctioning it wouldn’t be of any use for him. So far so good.

We learned on the Inazuma archon quest that when visions are forcibly taken there are some colateral effects on the owner, such as loss of motivation and ambition, etc. But that doesn’t seem to be the case when the owner chooses to leave their vision behind, since Childe didn’t seem to show those effects. Also in Diluc’s character story it is written that he left his vision in Mondstadt while he was traveling with his father’s delusion.

So Childe isn’t suffering any negative effects for being separated from his vision, which is good. But, in the end of the archon quest we didn’t get a single explanation for its malfunction - as opposed to his guilty verdict to which Neuvilete gave an explanation. So this is still a complete mystery.

Second - When Skirk throws him into that portal I don’t know why people directly assumed it went to Snezhnaya?? She threw his directly in the portal together with the All devouring Narwhal. If we go with the assumption that the portal was connected to Snezhnaya why the fuck would Skirk throw the Narwhal there as well?

I know we learn trough Lyney (or Freminet I can’t remember exactly) that he is recovering in Snezhnaya. But did everyone forget about Arlecchino's implied suggestion powers??

In the Unfinished comedy world quest we meet Caterpillar, who shares some visual similarities with Arlecchino and he has the power to make others believe and not question the things he says. Arlecchino could very well have used this power on the members of the house of hearth. So even if Lyney, Lynette and Freminet wouldn’t willingly lie to us, they could still be spreading false information. Hell even if she didn’t have this power as far as we know she could very well just lie to the house of the hearth.

What I mean to say is that there is no reason for us to believe that Childe is really in Snezhnaya, since we don’t have a way to confirm this. It could be true, don’t get me wrong - I just don’t think we should just go head and believe everything we hear from the fatui, especially since there is no credible evidence for this.

Third - why the fuck did the traveler hand out Childe’s vision to Arlechinno????? The second the traveler handed it over I physically cringed. In Wanderer's voice lines he mentions how Arlecchino is a wolf in sheep clothing and would betray the Tsaritsa in the drop of a hat. And in Childe’s voice lines we get to know that he doesn’t completely trust her either.

So why the fuck make the dumbass decision to hand Childe’s vision to her??? To someone he doesn’t even trust??? His motherfucking vision - which we know will have collateral effects if it is separated from him unwillingly - handed to someone who could be his enemy for all we know.
