i really appreciate what you said about scoutpauling because i sometimes feel really guilty for liking medicpauling and sniperpauling and i've hidden the fact that i like those ships for so long because i didn't want to get attacked by the fandom.

I've gotten dipshit asks about them but that's what the delete button is for.

If things are ever confirmed in-canon that Pauling is a lesbian then I'll change my tune. But from what we've seen from Expiration Date, it looks like they were going the route of Pauling at least being receptive to Scout, even agreeing to go on a second date with him. So I roll with the canon.

For what it's worth, I headcanon her as bisexual--she put an ad into the Teufort paper looking for a partner but never specified the required gender of said partner, she agreed to go on a second date with Scout, and it can be argued that the face she made when she saw a naked Zhanna spoke of something more besides fear/awe/horror.
