rebuild_foundation We have so much to be grateful for. This year in particular, we are thankful to all who have made the beginning of the transformation of the St. Laurence Arts Incubator possible. We've been making steady progress toward the completion of the incubator for artists and creative entrepreneurs, which will make decades of artistic exploration, research and production possible in the Greater Grand Crossing community. Over the past few years, we've humbly raised $8.1 million of the $10.35 million needed to complete the project. The recent contributions from Harry, the MacArthur Foundation and the United Center, coupled with the long-standing generosity of our partners and donors demonstrates a global dedication to helping artists realize ambitious projects that will alter the trajectory of artistic freedom. This vital investment in thinkers and makers will lay the groundwork for generations of emerging artists to grow their practices while building social and financial capital to support their creative endeavors. As we endeavor to raise the remaining $2.25 million needed to open St. Laurence's doors to the community, we extend our most heartfelt thanks to those who enrich our work through visits to our spaces, engagement with our programs and support of our artists in residence. We know there are many important causes that deserve your support this Giving Tuesday, and we are grateful for any contribution you might be able to offer in support of artistic futures on Chicago's South Side.

Anyone else wondering what he does to help his actual country and neighborhoods? We know what the other boys do. Even Zayn is vocal about UK issues even though he literally lives in the US now but everything I see about Harry now is all US related. He says the UK/London is his home but he’s never spending actual time there, even in his down time. It’s just odd to me.

Also if there’s an article about the donation then it’s not really a quiet donation is it?

If it was meant to be "quiet," no one would know he did it--not even the charity. I dealt with celebrity donations in a previous job and there were some that we could never figure out because we dealt with handlers and the checks were through various foundations/LLCs that weren't linked to the celebrities.

In other words, when celebrities truly want to make an anonymous donation, they can.
