It represents regeneration, metamorphosis, to change and become into something new , it represents innermost feelings, what have you discarded, thrown locked away , it can show where your blockages might be , and acknowledging them and healing them will lead you to embody yourself more , the core step of regeneration is acception so accept yourself for all the darks and lights and greys they will show you your own soul beautiful, empowering, unfearful.

Conjunct: These people go through a lot early on , like rejections, rumours that their kindness is fake , as they get older they get famous for a new look of theirs for example, someone maybe known for being a chocolate boy when younger but they age like fine wine as they get older , they like to take major risks in life . Their energy stays hidden from people who don't appreciate it in a way they will only embody their true self when they're truely appreciated . Their inner child is oftentimes locked and can be accessed and healed through breathing exercises, sunbathing, helping out poor children or lost souls.

Trine : They are known mostly for having a profound balance in what they do , like a beauty with brains type of vibe , they get famous for things they do authentically , are you ready to show yourself to the world if yes it will take you for all that you got , now you choose . A good placement for bombshell beauties , they are known for their unique looks eg : Angelina jolie, grace kelly , really revolutionary.

Sextile: They have a very experimental fashion and with every look of theirs , their outlook towards life changes , change in styles give them growth . Might be kind of control freaks and perfectionists but they actually work best in chaos and unpredictability gains a lot for them. Men with this are known to be very brave and powerful. People with this take challenges and criticism very well and use it to their advantage .let go of the mentality that society will only love you when you have all of the best things , infact the people who love you will love you regardless.

Square: These people literally have cults , their views are so strong that only people who really want to believe and deal take them , they will throw your triggers at your face. Conjunct: People have too many views about them and their mental health, they may suffer from a lot but you don't have to remind them , they already know and are working. They have a great spectrum of emotions and can be well known for writing their innermost thoughts. Intuitive and good at channeling and connected to their daimon. Divine inspiration always leads them . They have a very enticing and captivating face . Sometimes their speech is confusing, but they are trying to do good for you , might be a little rough at times.

Trine : They are intellectual and can provide anyone with sufficient motivation to do something. Good at telepathy and communication. They hold the power to influence people for good and bad . Have an easy navigation about their emotions. Some people might hate or be jealous because of how well they can navigate their triggers.

Sextile: They are soft and pure hearted , oftentimes known for their activism and support all the people around them with open hearts , it's a good placement for psychologists . They are known to persist despite all the hurdles around them . They like punk rock , and like to speak on dark topics for the welfare of society . Liked by many because of their authenticity .

Square : They like to mainly stay away from social media , as too much presence leads to people building wrong assumptions about them . They have revolutionary and conflicting views about things . These people regret not taking the right action at the right time . Can turn out to be manipulative and self sabotaging .

Opposite: They can be narcissistic, too absorbed. Though they introduce new trails of ideas , their speech is oftentimes too extreme and unacceptable. They are well known for their work . Feels isolated initially which they turn into super power and channel it through their art and daily life . They can give great advice on just about anything, people trust them but also fear them .

Trine : hates to be ignored , when someone disregards them they get in moods of ignorance . Likes attention. They attract men who are a bit passive aggressive. Good at calisthenics , a lot of people consider their body to be a piece of art . Prone to knee injuries.

Sextile : common placement for royalty and fame after marriage ( rich powerful men ) . The people with this placement need to learn to love themselves, can be too fixated on others to love them which in turn creates a void, when they are developed , they enjoy themselves a lot , a very nice business mind and can give a good sense of life and the game of it . Lowkey reminds me of Shera .

Square : They like boyish clothing, can be stuck in scandals for example : Mila kunis for her age, courtney for the m*****r of Kurt, Kristin Stewart for cheating . They have a great sense of confidence , people try to copy them a lot . Usually they are trend setters in rare sectors . They tend to have a pull for life and the purpose of it but are confused often .

Opposite: Gives one strong sense of justice , however at times it could bounce back on them , for example they raised their voice against some injustice, it indeed hampers their image . Being a mediator is a peaceful case for them but if they choose to go for their heart that is true, they experience turbulence , initially until they realise life is all about give and take . Conjunct : god knows you know about the deadly charm they exude , when Venus is conjunct pluto every step that you take towards healing and facing that is coming towards you , you are blessed in beauty ( how don't ask me try ) you become so self assured and so much more confident, they also have an air of knowing a lot even though they are still learning holy shit the grasp they have upon us .

Trine : These people can really turn their hurt into their power , they strive to get something in life, they know that whatever happens they can get out of it, so beautifully reminds me of the phoenix , rise like a beautiful song .

Sextile : you're intense you're full of depth and beauty, they have deep philosophical and in the core know that money cant buy all happiness but it's essential for their survival, they know how to strike a balance in life and really are the masters of their own fate

Square : Venus and Pluto forming squares gives one a drastic drive to be their authentic self to accept themselves in all their forms be it good bad or weird they aren't afraid to go through the little deaths in the self discovery of finding themselves again and again . They have many aha moments as they are always learning something new about themselves.

Opposite: this placement could bring internal struggles about looks and money , they think they can't manifest money but it's already written, these placements agree for you to accept them and work with them for your benefit. Square : when in square you really go through the challenging times , the key to why you're great is because you can always self discover yourself again that's why the people around you see you in such a light of a leader , you're like a hierophant to the lost people because you found yourself again .

Trine : they can bring out their innermost desires easily through art and literature, healing when it comes to skin is fast for them , their brains work in a very result oriented manner , they think about the consequences and possibilities before doing something drastic . Makes one a lover of fiction of all kinds .

Sextile : They really find inspiration in the things most people don't see . They pay attention to the things most people ignore and find a way to use it to get a hold of information. These are the people with a variety of information in all sectors ,though conjunction and trine gives the intelligence, they choose to restore more as a built mechanism to enchant people

Square: this gives a hard time accepting this for what they truly are might lead to some anxiety and adhd issues , this could make one scared of changes . Early age bullying could be seen but with time , the youth of mercury and the resilience of Pluto makes one a visionary, someone who knows so much.

Opposite: might have a hard time to channel logic , though their emotions are alright . Might fall for fake promises and they have to work on their people pleasing tendencies. This gives one a hunger to do better in life , eventually they see that all that their mind is feeding them isn't true and they can always do better than what they have been taught .

Conjunct :makes one a very disciplined person , they strive to work hard . You know the lana lyric " I'm doing it for all of us who never got the chance , and all my birds of Paradise " like wise they work hard so everyone around them can be happy and healthy, they make great people to bond with if you wanna succed in life and are looking for like minded people.

Trine : they are very hardworking towards what they want very goal oriented people. One thing i have seen is they can never work unless their work space is really clean , an organised view of things make their mind work better . People see them as someone who can be stiff at times , you can sometimes let loose is alright and appreciated to enjoy life .

Sextile : This works kind of like Saturn retrograde, the initial obstacles remain while Saturn gives the bad later in life when one has proven worthy to have something . Since life has thrown away them a lot of times they learn to be really humble , and try to assess all the possibilities before being sad about something. They understand that life is what you make it.

Square : might have a hard time following routines , they blame their luck a lot for having problems . When they get into healing themselves they have to deal with a lot of intense inner conflict and they might not take it very well , however to have a strong mind one has to deal with this tw might fall into depression. They come out stronger than ever knowing the power of free will .

Opposition: they believe rules are meant to be broken and i believe though this is opposition and might be malefic but being with Saturn and Pluto this gives one a very idgaf mentality which it turns out good for most times as one doesn't spend too much time contemplating. Might ignore their problems at times . But once in life the urge to get their life on track will occur and they will set things right for themselves. They want what they want by hook or by crook .

Uranus 🪻

Conjunct : They orchestrate changes, they are potent in telling people why they should do some things and why some things will bring them the better , they can really motivate people to live life for themselves. Usually they have strong sense of justice and remain very grounded .

Trine : They are free spirited, charming people , one thing about them is they can really see what others don't they can really put up the themes regarding what's beautiful and what's ugly and bring it to the world , work really hard to bring about equality in the society .

Sextile : This is a placement for the psychics healers and mystical beings , they learn that their position in the world is to heal and through their consistent efforts they heal themselves as well as others . They might find themselves in a state of dilemma sometimes as they are always energized with new ideas , they learn to channel it eventually.

Square : people with this can be a little stiff and scared about changes , they want things to be the same but to realise life's all about changes and how good one does to cope with it . These people are also very good at keep people on their toes. They guide themselves back to themselves. With this placement you don't loose your sense of self.

Trine : They find very creative ways to channel their energy, might make one a bit lazy . They can work their emotions in a very creative way and achieve great things in life on the basis of their belief systems . Also good at predictions and reiki and astrology.

Sextile : These people are always full of surprises they have so much to give to the world , often they can come off as delusional but eventually they prove everyone wrong by getting all they want . However to warn the laziness if given a chance to grow will grow, so avoid it and go make the life you deserve

Square :. They have bizarre dreams , they aspire for a dreamland and seek ways to make the world a paradise , this in positive sense as they work hard to do things their way . Their homes are always so pretty and decorated . They can make anyone relax and calm down from the chaos . To truly grow in life they have to move with wisdom and have to accept all changes and chances with bravery.

Opposite : tw , this could lead to some sort of depression, addiction or inner conflicts , they seem and feel lonely or left out , they are great artists but their minds might be a little dark place to be in . To channel this energy properly is one great thing to live with the darkness and transmute it into light is great . Be sure of what you want and never ever bow down to what is trying to bring you down

Natal SUN/PLUTO Aspects The Quest for Authenticity🕯️

Let me set the vibe, first.

It's a brand-new playlist, and I do accept recommendations!

The Sun in astrology is the archetypal King figure. It represents our consciousness, the pure awareness that I AM. Every planet has its own WILL, and the Sun’s will is to BE — to shine and express itself into the world. This is our personality and ego, but also our Life Force, a.k.a Spirit. When we look at the Sun and its aspects/house placement, we see what gives us a sense of fulfillment and purpose in life.

On the other hand, Pluto is the Lord of the Underworld, the Sorcerer hidden away from the light. It’s a generational planet that helps us heal and evolve spiritually by putting us in critical situations. Similarly to Uranus and Neptune, Pluto is an Outcast , a Divergent— the opposite of the widely accepted and adored King. I personally imagine him as a Quasimodo-looking character, but make no mistake. Pluto is immensely powerful.

When these two unite, it’s uncomfortable for both. Pluto feels exposed, and it desperately wants to hide away from the light, whereas the Sun feels like it’s been covered with a thick cloak of darkness. 

The Aspect is Most Potent if:

it’s within 5 degrees (those are the orbs that I’m using)

it’s APPLYING instead of SEPARATING 

it's a conjunction, square, opposition, quincunx, or quintile (harmonious aspects are usually less intense, especially the Trine)

SUN/PLUTO NOTES

📌 This is a highly karmic aspect - especially karma from their father or paternal side of the family. They are essentially breaking the taboos and secrets their ancestors couldn't didn't dare to speak about and confront. These people are the ILLUMINATORS who shift their family's paradigm around heavier, darker topics. They don't have to dig for any familial secrets, though. If they do their personal shadow work, they will break the chains of karma for all past and future generations.

📌They might become socially powerful and be known for their power/sexuality/mystery/criminal activity or occult/healing abilities. They could also become self-obsessed, or obsessed with their goals and desire to be known.

📌The Sun represents a woman's ideal husband, which is why in a woman's chart, this aspect can be really dangerous. She might be unconsciously attracted to (and even marry) abusive, controlling, really DARK individuals. They will mirror, and take to an extreme, her own unintegrated Shadow and/or unresolved daddy issues.

📌You might know these people for a long time, and not actually know them. Some of them have IMPENETRABLE defenses. When they do let someone in, they are terrified of being truly seen - with their good, bad, and ugly sides. This vulnerability is the cave they fear to enter, but it holds the treasure they seek. Deep down, they DO want to be seen and accepted as they are. But they most likely won't get that love from another person until they learn to love themselves unconditionally, first. They have to stop trying to run away and hide from themselves (or their father).

📌 Their father, and specifically his relationship to his Shadow, and the darker aspects of life, played a big role in the formation of their personality, and how they view themselves.

There are three scenarios here - 1) he was either a PUNISHER of the shadows (could've literally worked as a policeman, for example); he was an EXPLORER (psychologist, investigator) or he was a HEALER - occultist, energy worker, etc.

These are three levels of consciousness. If he punished the shadows - his and the world's - the more shame and guilt he could've projected onto his child(ren). These people might feel as if he's always monitoring their steps, and they can't hide anything from him - especially their mistakes or anything "taboo". If they were heavily judged or punished, they will grow up feeling guilty and ashamed of a very big part of what makes them human.

This affects how they view themselves - they can either see themselves as a Divine Child, with both the Yin and Yang, light and dark within or as a Beast, some sort of a Devil responsible for all the evil in the world.

They should know that whatever it was, it had nothing to do with them and EVERYTHING to do with their father's own degree of self-acceptance and wholeness.

Nonetheless, their relationship with him is/was intense, and there might've been a lot of power struggles involved.

📌These people are MAGNETIC in a way people can't explain. Even if they aren't traditionally "beautiful" or "attractive", they just draw others in. Powerful presence and aura.  

📌 It might take them some time to realize the power hidden in their shadows. They are destined to become Alchemists, but how easily or quickly this will happen depends on their free will and desire to separate themselves from their father's projections/expectations.

The task here is to become SELF-AWARE. They can use a myriad of tools - therapy, meditation, yoga, energy healing, somatic work, OR ART to channel their Shadow and integrate it into their consciousness.

📌 During their lives, they are often called to the gates of the Underworld. They learn how to enter it fearlessly, and how to listen to the voice within. This process of illumination (Sun) will help them transform their subconscious mind (Pluto), and when they emerge from this metaphorical Underworld, their work and expression in the world will have a different quality, richness, and potency to it. This is how they step into their power and leadership - by making peace with the demons of the past.

📌 Introverted or extroverted? Both. It mostly depends on the specific aspect, but also on other placements. We know that Mars is Pluto's lower octave. So, in their early life, some of them might be quite extroverted, focused on worldly ambitions, and even be less selective about the people they let in their close circle. As they age though, their focus turns inwards. They can progressively become more introverted, self-reflective, and their goals/values can dramatically shift. As their vibration goes up, they go from being the Warrior to being The Wizard. 

📌 If they don’t work to reclaim their power and express themselves truthfully and unapologetically in the world, they can become jealous and bitter. They can lurk behind the scenes of life, and try to sabotage those who do what they want to do, or they might try to destroy themselves. Depression is possible, as well as suicide attempts and risky behavior.

Pluto wants them to kill something about themselves, which is most likely their cowardice/pride/vanity/past conditioning. But not their physical selves. It's never about the physical, although it can feel this way. These people will either feed the Collective Shadow or help heal it. When they do the latter, they become potent forces of transformation for other people, as well.

📌 Life wants them to be humbler. They can carry a lot of pride and might try to appear as perfect and "spotless" as possible. They might be afraid of their reputation being destroyed or bruised in some way.

📌They are on a Quest for Love. When they learn how to forgive themselves and others, their HEARTS will open, and the light of the Sun will shine through. They can become truly unconditionally loving, and they have to start with themselves, first.

📌 Pluto is connected to our Divine Feminine energy (although it's not a feminine planet) a.k.a Kundalini. So, these people need to learn how to SURRENDER to the Divine. This is a major lesson, so for a good portion of their life, they might feel tempted to gain power through CONTROL and domination, but this will only worsen their karma.

As they will understand, the only real power is the power of Truth and Unconditional Love.

☀️ASTRO-OBSERVATIONS - Part 2☀️

Trigger warning: trauma, sex, STI, health issues.

Mars in the 6th house placements are amazing at crafts. They love using their hands and trying different tools. They generally will like building things, repairing appliances, or even creating systems to take care of their health. These people will need to watch out for any stomach-related issues.

However, the crafts-esque elements are boosted if Mars is in Capricorn because this allows the expression of Mars to be more positive (Mars is exalted in Capricorn). The reason I say this is because Mars is a malefic, so it can bring accidents, poor health, and bad luck when it is weak in the chart, i.e. when it is in Libra, Taurus, or Cancer. 

Speaking of a “weak” Mars, when we have Mars in Libra, Pisces, or Taurus, it does not mean that the person is weak. It means that Mars’s expression in the chart can create issues that reduce one’s ability to assert themselves.

With a Taurus Mars, you have weak boundaries and might be prone to overindulging yourself or overworking yourself for others. Throat issues are prominent as well as an inability to defend oneself.

The same is for Libra Mars whereby they struggle to assert themselves in social situations, making conclusive decisions in their lives, and can leave loose ends. They are also prone to allow complacency to drag issues that could’ve been resolved with firmer boundaries and stricter words. Libra Mars people also might have issues with: bladder, kidneys, and lower back pain. 

Pisces Mars or Mars-Neptune aspects are easily manipulated, they are overly reactive and misdirect their aggression. We need to keep in mind that Mars also rules the art of war and strategy. As such, the Neptunian elements cloud one's Mars from manifesting positively and constructively (Mars also rules engineering and building!). This can also indicate a weakened immune system, low energy levels, and a tendency to be a pushover in some circumstances while blowing up irrationally at the wrong time.

I noticed this in some charts: having Virgo in the 8th house can indicate catching an STI or being wounded from sex. 

Venus-Mars: the family might have intervened in your relationships to sabotage them or oppose them. This gives a sense of always having to fight for your relationships.

Venus-Saturn: this also might manifest as a father figure or society at large generally opposing your relationships as well. it can also mean that you don't show your feminine side when in society or in front of family members. You prefer to keep it to yourself and express your sensuality privately or through sublimation (high art, literature, poetry, etc.)

Sun-Pluto aspects are intense, they could either mean that your father is very powerful and you don’t know the nature of his work or can indicate that a person was exploited or controlled leaving them feeling traumatized and feeling like your identity is stained by what happened to you. The thing about pluto aspects is that they leave you feeling stained with lots of shame, self-doubt, and embarrassment but the key to managing these events or transits is to see how these transformative occurrences showed you your own ability to heal yourself and others.

Scorpios enter your life when you need them the most— whether for better or for worse. They enter your life to show you the truth of something and they tell you where you need to heal the most. 

Geminis have a bad reputation but they enter your life to teach you flexibility. They are very intelligent, socially aware, and witty. We can learn a lot from their cleverness and the way they express themselves and engage others. The same goes for Virgos. Virgos manifest this mercurial energy in the way they organize their minds, space, and life. Virgos embody Mercury through tools that facilitate our lives with their simplicity.

Aries enters your life when you need to make a conclusive decision in your life. They embolden you to move forward and teach you to ruthlessly cut off other options and loose ends. The same goes for Capricorns. 

Having Venus at 29 degrees is a sign that you are very capable of anticipating the other person’s responses, i.e. you’re a good flirt and can see how things will unfold when pursuing a romantic partner or a business venture (because Venus also rules how we make money).

SUN ASPECTING PLUTO

Aspects between the Sun and Pluto bring together the most conscious part of our personalities with the most unconscious part. People with these aspects have a sometimes uncomfortable awareness of the darkness of the human mind

Sun Sextile Pluto: You see yourself as a powerful person, but are not too carried away by any power trips or manipulations. People feel comfortable around you because they can sense that you're not looking for ways to feel better than others, as you feel secure enough in yourself

Sun Opposite Pluto: You are afraid of the power that other people have, so you make sure to play your cards right in your interactions to avoid feeling at a disadvantage. This can lead to behaviours like withholding and acting unbothered to avoid losing that feeling of control. Only those you trust completely get to see the real you

Sun Inconjunct Pluto: If you have this aspect, you are probably quite afraid of owning up to your own power. By denying your own power, however, you also deny yourself the opportunity to accept who you are. The key is in realising that your power comes from within, not external situations. Sun Trine Pluto: You are much more comfortable with your subconscious darkness than most people. You see traumatic situations as opportunities for self-empowerment, and have more than enough strength to recover from difficult periods in life

Sun Square Pluto: Even if everything in your life is going great, you are still left hungry for more and dissatisfied. You find it hard to break out of cycles of personal dissatisfaction because you always feel like there's something 'wrong' with you

Sun Conjunct Pluto: Because you find it so natural to identify with your darkness and trauma, it can be quite difficult for you to let go of negative opinions you have of yourself. hey y’all! in this series we’ll be covering major hard/challenging aspects (squares and oppositions) to pedro’s sun. minor challenging aspects to his sun (semi-squares/sesquiquadrates and semi-sextiles/inconjunctions) will be covered in an upcoming series, as well as soft/beneficial major and minor aspects to the rest of his planets, asteroids, nodes, and angles in his chart! i also want to note that when it comes to these aspects, they have to be examined through the lens of the entire chart, as they’re influenced by a myriad of factors within it.

sun opposite pluto (4°30’) 

– discussions surrounding plutonian themes can be heavy so content warning for violence, (childhood) trauma, death, and abuse. nothing detailed or explicit, just an advisory for those who want to avoid these topics.

with the opposition, there is a polarity between the planetary bodies and they are at odds with one another. like i mentioned in the previous post, the sun is representative of the self. it represents how we show up in the world, our ego, and our self esteem, happiness, and our vitality. pluto is considered the co-ruler of scorpio in modern astrology, and is representative of sexuality, the taboo, fears, death, control/domination, destruction and rebirth. whatever pluto hits in a chart will be the area of one’s life/personality where someone will undergo deep transformation, and also the area where they will struggle the most with themes of power and control. pluto is also a generational planet, and stays in the same sign for 12-32 years, therefore people born within that time frame will all share the same placement. 

this can imply an intense struggle to express the ego. natives with this placement tend to be very private people. they can be “people pleasers,” and may go to extreme lengths to make sure they are perceived as the “perfect” person. this is something that can be confirmed by pedro himself from his Wired 2023 interview: “i want people to feel comfortable. i don’t know how to function at the expense of anyone’s comfort level. i’m a people pleaser.” 

with the influence of pluto, there is also a need to have control over yourself and everything around you. in youth, they may have experienced adversities or trauma that resulted in them feeling helpless or powerless. they may have sought out validation and reassurance outside of themselves as a means to understand their identity, a trait that can follow them into adulthood if not addressed. as adults, they may overcompensate as a means to reclaim the power and control that they may have felt robbed of as children. 

there could have been friction surrounding their father or paternal figure growing up. they may have perceived them in youth as unapproachable, authoritative, cold, or absent. the father/paternal figure themselves may have been exposed to the more plutonic themes of life such as violence, injustice, death, or abuse, and in turn may have influenced the native either consciously or subconsciously. at worst, the native may express the same negative behaviors they were subjected to as children, even on a subconscious level. 

as i mentioned in the sun square saturn post, i’m speaking in general terms of ways that this aspect can manifest, this isn’t an implication of pedro’s relationship with his father as he’s private in terms of his family/home life. what can be inferred, though, is the plutonian themes that his father (and mother) experienced around the time pedro was born. 

pedro’s father was a fertility doctor (a very plutonian profession) and an activist during Augusto Pinochet’s dictatorship in Chile. as the story goes, pedro’s parents gave refuge and medical aid to Andrés Pascal Allende, nephew to Salvador Allende (the 28th president of Chile who was deposed by Pinochet) and cousin of pedro’s mother. pedro’s parents’ identities were then given up, Pinochet’s regime came after them, and they escaped and sought asylum in Denmark. 

that story is a very literal manifestation of plutonian (and martian) concepts, and i don’t believe i’d be wrong to assume that it definitely impacted pedro’s (and his siblings’) childhood. i’ll insert another quote from the Wired 2023 interview where pedro speaks about playing Joel from The Last of Us: “did you bring anything personal to the role? ‘that’s the fun part—how much you get to externalize internal darkness in a safe way and bring in things that are from your nightmares.’ such as? ‘joel’s capacity for violence, and being good at it. i didn’t get into any physical fights growing up, and definitely not as an adult. violence scares me tremendously. is it the fear of violence in general? is it the fear of your own violence?’” 

although he’s not referencing his childhood here, i do find it interesting the way that he engages not only with the idea of violence, but that it’s something that he has a deep internalized fear of, both from others and from himself. he speaks more directly on the fears he faced during his childhood in the Talk Easy with Sam Fragoso podcast: “i started to develop a fear of camouflaged military guards with machine guns, that were monitoring - you know - it’s not like they were everywhere or anything like that, i’m sure that there was a sort of normalcy of lifestyle that was achieved for all of my cousins that [are older than me] that grew up under a military dictatorship. yet the visual of that, knowing somehow at a young age that if my parents were there, they would take them away, and maybe kill them… the way that that lived almost like a kind of supernatural presence in my imagination was so weird.”

he also mentions the fears he had in relation to his parents being in danger: “i had watched so many movies, and i remember seeing Indiana Jones running across the playfield with Karen Allen in that white dress. Karen Allen looked so much like my mother, and so i started to imagine things like that, like my father and mother, hand-in-hand, like running, like they were being shot at across like a dusty, sort of, airplane field.” this can be interpreted as a manifestation of pedro potentially feeling helpless or “powerless” in his youth, knowing that his parents’ lives were in jeopardy at some point, not having the capacity to do anything about it as a child, and struggling with fear and anxiety as a result.

on a lighter note but not really because ain’t shit light about pluto, let’s discuss how this placement can display itself in adulthood. we touched on it earlier in regards to the “people-pleaser” aspect, but this can also manifest as having extremely high standards for oneself. if the native feels like they’re not meeting these standards, or if others think negatively of them (usually those who they’re close to), it can lead to feelings of low self-worth. in the context of pedro potentially setting high standards for himself, here’s a line from pedro’s Esquire 2023 interview from Bella Ramsey: “‘i’ve learned from him to be kinder to myself, which is a thing he’s not very good at, in terms of the pressure he puts on himself,’ says ramsey. ‘but i guess that’s something that he taught me hypocritically, then i taught to him back.’”

aside from low self-worth, when those with this aspect anticipate disappointment from themselves or others, they may engage in self-destructive behaviors such as stubbornness, addiction, possessiveness, jealousy, or spying. the native may also be subject to these behaviors from those around them, as the internalized and/or externalized struggle with these behaviors will show up most in interpersonal relationships, both platonic and romantic.

in romance, they can be addicted or obsessive towards their partners, or attract partners that behave this way towards them. they can also attract partners that are more spiritually inclined or into occult practices. they are very loyal and put their all into their relationships with their partners, friends, and family, but this can manifest negatively as there may be an inability to leave unhealthy relationships, or walk away from negative people in their lives.  

working alongside this aspect means that the native must unlearn resistance to change and relinquish the desire to control the things that are beyond them. rebirth will be a constant theme in their lives. pedro has also brought up in his Esquire 2023 interview the feeling that he’s “died so many deaths,” and that’s something that people not only with this aspect can attest to, but people with any prominent pluto, saturn, scorpio, capricorn, 8th house, and 12th house placements can as well. in the context of this aspect, accepting one’s own imperfections is vital. it’s a lifelong practice, but getting a point of being able to at least accept change and understanding there is no such thing as constantly being in control will grant these natives the ability to unlock their full potential and put them into positions of power. 

this can also grant them access to leadership roles, which they’ll accept gladly, as a byproduct of their desire for control is a resistance to authority. they don’t like being told what to do and would rather be the one giving the orders. pedro spoke on this himself in a 2017 interview with ShortList magazine where he refers to being a waiter: “first, i wasn’t very good at it. second, i would always prioritize acting over waiting tables, and third, i’m just not very good with authority.”

there’s a strong need for deep connection and understanding of themselves and others as well, they enjoy uncovering secrets and can be drawn to spiritual/occult practices, and may be very intuitive/psychic themselves. but they can struggle with trusting others, being vulnerable, and opening up due to the pain and resentment they may still harbor from painful past experiences. 

people with this placement can end up being very influential. typically, these people are either extremely loved, or extremely hated. those who express this aspect in a healthy way may be perceived as great mentors, very caring and nurturing people, trustworthy and honest, while at the same time having an air about them that is mysterious or seductive. while they are typically kind-hearted and have good intentions for others, they still have the capacity to be authoritative and put people in check when needed. 

active self development and growth will work wonders for these natives, acknowledging and working through the “shadow” parts of their identities can result in positive transformation. while these natives struggle with the internalized repercussions of what they’ve experienced in life, they still have the ability to impact the world and those around them for the better. they have to work with and not against themselves, and learn to balance the “light” and “darkness” they harbor within their spirits, and not to operate from one place while neglecting the other.

natives with pluto in the 12th house have the ability to seem like everything is alright, even though they are probably going through the lowest point in their lives. they come off all calm and collected on the surface, but underneath, there’s a whole world of intense emotions and unresolved trauma going on.

saturn square ascendant natives may feel compelled to limit their self-expression (this usually results in their rising sign qualities being hindered). this tendency often stems from childhood experiences of having strict rules and limitations imposed upon them, possibly by parents or authority figures who viewed their spontaneous behavior as “immature.” they were constantly shushed, which caused them to be highly cautious about how they present themselves to others, often wearing a cold, serious face, but deep down they hide their fun, childlike nature in fear of being criticized. 🎭

Painful placements in astrology I

💜 Sun square/conjunct/opposite/inconjunct (quincunx) Pluto. Inconjunctions should be maximum 2/3 degrees. If I see this in a natal chart it would indicate to me that the native has had issues with their father or figures with authority in general. Could also be men in their family. I have also noticed the fathers side of the family were absent, early on they could have been separated. The separation could be due to many threats. If not cultivated well, this aspect is common amongst serial killers and people notorious for being bullies.

💙 Moon square/conjunct/opposite/inconjunct (quincunx) Pluto. Inconjunctions should be maximum 2/3 degrees. Now this would indicate a person who has issues with the mother figure in their family. This could also indicate issues with the women figures in their life. These people are also very distant with their mother’s side of the family. Like harsh Pluto and Sun, they were separated early on. Which again potentially could’ve been due to threats to their safety in general. If not cultivated well, this can lead to mental health issues, especially those relating to Pluto. Dark obsessions and desires etc.

💜 Having square placements to personal planets, this alone is very hard to deal with as there is strong friction no matter which side you look at. These people need to work on the aspect and appropriately release the energy, depending on the house, sign, and degree.

hey y'all! i'm sure this has probably been done before, but i thought it'd be fun to do a post where i can talk about music and astrology bc i'm very much so a nerd when it comes to both of those topics :) (i'm dipping my toes into synastry/composite placements in this post, and i'm still learning about those subjects so any of these notes sound like surface-level baby shit, that's why, i apologize in advance lmao)

i feel like it's worth mentioning that hozier has venus in aquarius in his 12H, which makes so much sense when you listen to his music. these placements are, i feel, indicative of loving extremely hard, even to your own detriment. they tend to crave deep, nurturing, spiritual connections in love. and although they might have the capacity to understand people on a deeper level, rarely is that level of understanding reciprocated to them in love (especially the venus 12th housers), which can result in this feeling of being "unknown". y'all's suffering usually results in amazing art though, which can be an upside depending on how you look at it lmao

this is such a cute placement to have, both in natal and synastry. in the natal chart, it can indicate being someone who finds pleasure in traveling and learning about cultures that are vastly different than yours, and even finding spiritual fulfillment through doing so. it also shows being someone who enjoys traveling and exploring uncharted territory with their partner (or finding love in a different country), as well as feeling the most fulfilled in a relationship with someone who you feel "enlightens" you and brings newfound wisdom to your day to day life. these natives could also end up attaining wealth through these endeavors as well.

i like to refer to aspects and placements like these as the "you not finna tell me what the fuck to do" indicators. with the natal aspects, these are typically the type of people who like to push against the boundaries just to see how far they can go, and enjoy ruffling other peoples' feathers for fun. they're also visionaries, and tend to prioritize their individuality above all else and enjoy encouraging others to feel empowered as well. on the other hand, the synastry aspects can indicate a strong level of physical attraction and sexual compatibility, when they're afflicted it can very much so lead to power struggles, with mars/pluto being the one attempting to assert some form of dominance or control over venus. how that ends up playing out depends on the context of the individual natal charts of those involved, personally i'd rather eat a denim jacket than let somebody (especially a man) tell me what to do, but i digress.

3H synastry is so sweet and so underrated, probably because it's not a house that people typically look at for an indication of "romance", but i feel like communication is an integral part of relationships that (clearly) nobody really takes into account. moon and mercury in the 3H can be indicative of giving/receiving words of affirmation with someone, as well as an ease in not only expressing your emotions to someone but having a very strong intellectual connection to them. it could also be indicative of having a strong bond with their siblings or immediate family as well. i also mentioned sun in pisces and taurus in the composite chart because the production of this song is so ethereal, and the lyrics are very domestic in a sense? i feel like it's representative of the spiritual connection and compassion that pisces brings, alongside the pleasure and security found in building a home with the person you love.

pisces moons are truly god's strongest soldiers lmfao. i spoke on this in a previous post and i'll reiterate it again because it's so real, but pisces is the only water sign without "armor", and therefore the water sign that tends to get hurt the most. and i'm speaking in terms of the archetype and not necessarily every person with prominent pisces placements when i say this (pls do not come up under this post talking about a pisces that hurt your feelings, we do not care), but pisces are very sensitive and kind-hearted by nature, and with the moon in pisces that can very easily manifest as becoming "captain save a hoe" and trying to help and fix everyone around you, even to your own detriment. in regard to having mercury in pisces, i feel like the upside is having a very romanticized way of speech and a general "poetic" ideological approach to life, and the downside is getting lost in your thoughts, as well as being misrepresented or not clearly understood in communication/connection to others, and therefore "shutting down" and opting not to speak at all.

i'm not gonna hold you, i feel like this is the perfect example of a song fully encapsulating what an aspect feels like. i feel like these aspects can make someone very ethereal, they may have a tendency to come off as impersonal or "out of reach" to those around them, and are typically very intuitive and spiritually-inclined. in synastry, this could make someone view their partner through a dream-like lens. aside from neptune's malefic characteristics (which typically show up more with conjunctions or challenging aspects) it's energy paired with the sun and venus can make a relationship feel like a fairy-tale in a sense. they may have a telepathic connection with one another, visit each other or communicate through the astral realm, and their intimacy can feel like a very spiritual experience for both parties.
