Dreamcatcher will make a comeback in May with a new album after 7 months.

This follows after the mini album 'Apocalypse: Follow Us' released last October and will be the last part of the trilogy, completing out their unique universe.

After 'MAISON' which means 'home' in French, and 'VISION' where they talked about their desperate convictions, global InSomnia are looking forward to what kind of message they will return with this time.

On the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart, Dreamcatcher's 'VISION' achieved 1st on the Top Album Chart of 21 countries globally, proving their continuous growth in steps.

After a domestic concert and a Europe tour for the first time in 3 years during the second half of 2022, all Dreamcatcher members re-signed their contracts, and continued their momentum with their most recent 9-city US tour, finishing successfully and hinting at more exciting promotions to come.

[ARTICLE] Korean singer-producer Zion. T starts company for creators, Standard Friends

Singer and producer Zion. T announced Monday that he established a company for creators called Standard Friends.

The singer posted on his Instagram account that founding a new company came “naturally” to him as he’s always trying to “find something fun to do.”

“Standard Friends is a company that was established to present interesting works of art together with musicians and artists of diverse fields,” the singer wrote.

“I started to be loved and recognized by many people as I expressed myself through music. I want to give that to other musicians and artists as well. I hope to support a variety of artistic activities based on music and present great works to the public through different collaborations with talented artists in various fields,” he said.

“As the name of the company suggests, I look forward to working with talented artists, my dear friends around me. The quality is important, but, above all, I hope the company becomes a place where artists can work and enjoy working long term.”

Zion. T is currently represented under The Black Label, a subsidiary of YG Entertainment led by Teddy. He said he’ll still be represented by the label as a singer.  

Zion. T, whose real name is Kim Hae-sol, debuted in 2011 with his single “Click Me” featuring Dok2. The singer rose to fame when he was featured on two songs off of producer Primary’s album, “Primary and the Messengers LP,” in 2012. Since then, he’s been churning out hit after hit, including “Two Melodies” (2018) and his most successful single to date, “Yanghwa Brdg” (2014).

[...] Oh Hyuk, leader of the band Hyukoh, also has experience as a music director, having composed the music for the upcoming film, “The Dream Songs.” Directed by Cho Hyun-chul, an actor and rookie filmmaker who is best known for his roles in “Hotel del Luna” and “D.P.,” the film tells the tale of two young girls who have feelings for each other.

Oh and Cho have also worked together in "Rustle," Cho’s earlier independent film.

“I asked Oh Hyuk if he could make sad but also awkward-feeling music. We understood each other without having to talk too much about it,” said director Cho.

The group Dreamcatcher is taking their end-of-year vacation.

According to a statement released on the 14th by Dreamcatcher Company, the team's agency, Dreamcatcher is planning to take a month-long vacation now that all official schedules of the year are over.

Dreamcatcher promoted relentlessly this year, and are hoping to take some time to recharge themselves with this vacation. The team's only non-Korean member, Handong, is planning to spend the New Year’s with her family in China.

This April, Dreamcatcher took home their first win in 1924 days since their debut with "MAISON", the title song of their 2nd studio album which opened the Apocalypse series. In October, they released their 7th mini album ‘Apocalypse: Follow us’, promoting an environmental message and furthering their position as K-Pop messengers.

Their career high was mirrored overseas as well. Their North American tour, coming 3 years after their previous one, reported a ticket sales rate of 92% across 8 US cities and Mexico City. Their tour of 5 European countries including Germany, the Netherlands and Poland boasted larger venues than their previous tour there, proving their growing standing.

In addition, in November, all members of Dreamcatcher decided to renew their contracts even before the expiration of their previous ones with Dreamcatcher Company. This news came as a most welcome gift to InSomnias all over the world. The group plans to continue their activities to repay the love shown by the fans.

After their end-of-year vacation, Dreamcatcher is set to continue diverse activities in many facets.
