1. If you had to watch one drama forever what would it be?

oh man, starting off with a hard one. i'd have to go with bad buddy 😭. like its such a rewatchable show. feeling sad rewatch bb, feeling happy rewatch bb, feeling angry rewatch bb etc etc. honourary mention to tms 2 last ep simply due to the sheer number of times i've watched it

2. If you could change the ending of a drama which one would it be?

history 3: modc like come on. also change up the entire plot of i*tym 😶 (i refuse to not bring it up even when the question doesn't demand it)

3. Name your favorite drama and tell who your favorite character was.

picking a fav drama is too hard so i'll just pick some favourite characters. jiwoo and seojoon both from tms 2, teh from itsay and oh-aew from ipytm, pat, pran, ink and pa from bad buddy. vegaspete from kinnporsche (specifically together) im just picking my favorite dramas now 😶

4. Name a drama you dropped within the first few episodes ~ we all have at least one!

i've got a few: colour rush, tharntype 2, love by chance 2 and history 4 😬

5. Name a popular drama you’ve never watched and why?

sotus, love sick ??? the og ones i guess. i just have always felt that i wouldn't be a fan of the older stuff

6. Name a drama you regret watching.

thct. i don't know if regret is too strong a word but i went in with expectations and it just kept getting worse.

7. Name a drama you thought you’d never watch but did and did you end up liking it?

we best love. all cause it had a weird name and it didnt make any sense. but i loved the show

8. Name a pairing you want to see?

MILKLOVE NEW SHOW. ill be out in front of gmm if they don't announce it this december

9. Name a pairing you didn’t think had chemistry?

tin and can from lbc 2. i really liked them in s1 but it just wasn't it s2. which led to be dropping the show of course

im assuming this means a pairing from a drama i haven't watched.

Monthly likes/dislikes

❣️ Don’t Say No - sorry if I can’t shut up about it but I’m obsessed lol; LF’s chemistry is phenomenal and the plot is super interesting. They’re not shying away from anything, everything is raw and real which is 👌🏻. Also communication hello? These guys are actually talking to each other about their insecurities - something I haven’t seen since Cherry Magic lol. And not just the mains, but also the other characters probably have the best communication I’ve seen in a bl. A+++ ❣️ PitchBank (Golden Blood) - I had to put them in here; I haven’t had second couple syndrome since RamKing lol but how could I not I mean?? They’re so lively and hilarious and no offense to SunSky but they stole the show for sure lol.

❣️ Check Out - Episode 0 was unexpectedly good, I really liked their chemistry and the filming style is really nice. It sucks that we have to wait until next year for the full series but if it’s anything like this episode then it’s definitely worth the wait. I love it!

❗️The upcoming korean bl “First Love Only Third” will have 6 episodes à 25 minutes. Filming is scheduled for September and it will be available worldwide via OTT.  ❗️A first trailer for the upcoming Filipino bl “Turbulence” has been released. (Date TBA)

❗️ The annual LINETV awards were held on August 5th. The following 2 bls won:

ITSAY: Best Viral Scene,  Best Kiss Scene, Best Thai Song & Best Couple 2gether: Series of the Year, Most Followers of the Year, Most Hearted of the Year & Best Rising Star (Win Metawin).

❗️ The upcoming Thai BL “Check Out” was set to air this month, but was postponed to 2022 due to the pandemic. Episode 0, which tells the backstory, aired this month; the other pre-airing content (documentary, reactions, etc.) is being released over the next month.

❗️ “In Your Heart” is an upcoming Chinese BL with no censoring. The date is still TBA but they have released a few sneak peeks on the show’s Twitter account. ❗️ Podd Suphakorn (THCT, DBK) and Phuwin Tang (FUTS) received the award นนทลีสยาม in the category “Children who create a reputation for the nation”, which is given to people who have proven to have good ethics, morality and loyality on the occasion of mother’s day in Thailand. ❗️ The cast of the upcoming Thai BL “Unforgotten Night” has been announced. Yoon Phusanu and Ton Saran will be the leads, along with Sammy M. and others. The plot constains sadism and is considered controversial. ❗The korean webtoon “Cherry Blossom After Winter” will be adapted into a series and produced by Wstory (WYEL, Mr. Heart, YMMD). It is set to air later this year with a runtime of 20-30 mins per episode.

❗️A Tale of Thousand Stars won “Best LGBTQ+ program made in Asia” at the Content Asia Awards 2021. ❗️The upcoming thai bl “My Ride” is officially back in production after being delayed multiple times. A new poster has been released.

it's gotta be pat... like we all knew i was gonna pick someone from bad buddy. like mans is the biggest walking green flag ever and also ink cause who wouldn't be in love with her. they're literally a pair of pretty besties

2. What’s your one character from a bl/gl you wanted to punt into the stratosphere (you only get one so choose wisely).

im in my ipytm hate feels rn so i'll say jai... im sorry but he was a manipulative ass and ipytm's like one of the only shows which i cared about enough to hate someone (if that makes sense) and also the girlfriend from together with me. absolute piece of shit

3. The best music moment from a bl/gl

im babbling about bad buddy again but the music in the ep 5 rooftop scene was just perfect, they way the crescendo of music matched the kiss. absolute perfection ✨. and also every single music moment in itsay... ive never listened to any ost like i have itsay's

4. What’s a popular heterosexual text that you would like to see adapted into a bl/gl?

i cant really think of any heterosexual texts per se but i'd like to see more office romances i guess. just leave the university kids behind. thats also why im soooooo excited for gap

5. A scene from a bl that always makes you laugh.

can't think of anything else rn. so i'll say then entire bar scene from kp ep 3.

6. Biggest disappointment.

ipytm. im sorry im the no.1 ipytm hater in town. other than that first one that comes to mind is thct. like what even was the last episode 😬

so i basically forced my straight bestie into watching itsay with me and it was quite hilarious cause she wouldn't stop crying like every two minutes but she refused to watch ipytm cause i obviously told her about it so i'd want to watch that with her. also an online friend of mine who i usually scream about all my shows to. i wanna do it real time once

9. Best wardrobe moment/or character wardrobe from a bl/gl.

its gotta be tankhun like have you seen him... no one could outdo his fashion. gotta agree with quan about pat too cause i need all of his shirts, just his entire wardrobe even.

oh yay good for you! I have a page on my blog where I regularly transcribe my favorite quotes from dramas so you can check that out if you want 😊 Though they’re sometimes a bit long..

So I selected a few excerpts from 10 of my favorite quotes under the cut for you that aren’t very complicated. (without transliteration though because I get a headache from that lmao; also sorted by release date; the goodies are at the bottom lol) -> also if any native speakers see this, please feel free to correct me!!!! 

1. Ming to Kit in 2Moons2 ep9:

มิ่ง: คิทเป็นโลกของผมนะครับ = Kit, you are my world. -> word to memorize: โลก = world

2. Neo to Shin in 3WBF ep5:

นีโอ: คนที่ไม่เคยเจ็บ ไม่มีวันโตหรอก = those who never get hurt never grow up. -> word to memorize: โต = grow(n) up

3. Pharm to Dean in UWMA ep7:

ภาม: พี่สัญญา…ว่าจะหากันจนเจอ = You promised... that we will look for each other until we meet. -> word to memorize: สัญญา = promise (full quote here)

4. Khai to Third in the TOL special ep:

ค่าย: ตั้งแต่กูคบกับมึงมา มึงทำให้กูเปลี่ยนแปลงกลายเป็นคนที่ดีขึ้น = Ever since I met you, you have changed me to be a better person. -> word to memorize: เปลี่ยนแปลง = change (full quote here)
