For “The Hartfield Athletic Trainer”

For this one... nope. Not at all. Which is weird because all kinds of real life bits are sprinkled throughout The Freshman Chronicles. Not huge things, but little personality quirks, mannerism or moments type things. But there’s nothing like that in this series, because I tried to keep it (more) vague and customizable... for the reader insert idea, I guess. 😆

Wish I could say I had a fun experience with someone like this MC lol.

I’m going to do kinda what I did last year Yes, I looked back and totally did this same thing a year ago, and now I kinda feel (fandom) old now lol. Er, okay. Let’s see… sticking with original works…

Fics

1. Practice Makes Perfect (TFC 2-4b) (NSFW) – There is so much about this one that I love. Freaking love. Chris is absolutely adorable in this one. Smitten is a good word. He is so gentle and caring, so loving and sweet… I can’t tell you more – you should just read it lol. This might actually be my favorite of all time. It will be hard to find a new top choice.

2. 20 Questions (TFC 2-4d) – This is a fun one. Ninja punches?! Flirty, funny banter?! Hot workout peeking?! Shower time?! Sassy James?! And of course, MC & Chris 20 Questions! Yeah this one was fun haha.

3. Boston Series (TFC) – I love Boston. It shows. I tried to take the readers on a trip with Chris, MC, Ethan, Steph and more in this set. They feel like one fic to me because it’s the same trip. So here you go…

City of Champions (2-8b) (NSFW) – The Green Monster & Monopoly Boardwalk

Girls Like You (2-8c) (NSFW) – A moment alone, a run in with Peter (gasp!) and the amazing Boston Public Library

Just Keep Swimming (2-8d) – A meaningful song battle, the New England Aquarium, Ryan Hawkins(!), and a memorable Greenway Carousel Ride

Until The Next Time (2-8e) (NSFW) – A quiet morning in, sad goodbyes & happy hellos

2. Undress Rehearsal (TFC 2-4g) (NSFW) – this freaking thing lol. It stayed in my head for a long… long time. I changed things around many times, switching timelines, plot points, etc. until I had it just right. I think it might be a love it or leave it kinda fic for some. Hmm…

3. Should’ve Tried Harder (AU: Chris x MC – 300 Followers Giveaway) – my first non The Freshman Chronicles fic! This was a big step for me. While I haven’t made that many non TFC posts… I have a few different things going now, and this was where it all began. It was meant to be a one-shot, but it seems to have a following that wants more so a second has been planned ;)

I almost wanted to include the music playlists that build with each book of The Freshman Chronicles… but that’s just because I enjoy music so much and want to force it on anyone who will let me apparently lol. So I refrained! Are you proud..? ;)

Those are 2 of the 4 chapters that make up the reader interactive fic The Hartfeld Athletic Trainer... did you try the link for the first one? You have to select your answers first then it will send you a copy. :)

Once you get that one, you can read Part 2 and complete the questions for and receive Part 3 & 4 in order. I haven't read them out of order, but I know they will flow better if you read through them like that because I broke them up at certain points when writing. 😊

I’ve just had some bad timing lately haha. I take a trip every year that requires some prep time before, and I had some PC issues right before that… so what I was working on had to be put on hold…

BUT… I’m back and catching up - working on some chapters to The Freshman Chronicles today! Hope to post that soon… Then The Bond, The Hartfeld Athletic Trainer… and more. So check back in when you can. 😉

That’s great to hear! 😋 I didn’t think that one was as popular as some of my other posts… I totally have at least one more part to go with it planned!

It doesn’t make it into the top three when I post polls, but I’m still going to do it. 😁

That one might be a little bit though, as I have a TFC chapter Boston: Just Keep Swimming and another The Bond chapter to post first. I believe the next part of the reader interactive The Hartfeld Athletic Trainer is third... 🤔 But it will be written!

I know you want this one bad... and to be honest, I want to post it badly too LOL.

This and Boston: Girls Like You (TFC 2-8c) were just about tied... but Boston beat out The Trainer by like... 1-2 votes.

But guess what... doesn't exactly matter lol. I will be working on both at the same time, and this one... well, will be shorter (ha) than the other. Chances are it will be posted before the other. Maybe...

I’m going to try and have at least one of them posted by the end of the week..! (depends on work, life... and the universe dropping things in my lap of course lol)

Hahaha I see the same way when someone asks me @syltti78! There are cute moments sprinkled all over... I just can’t choose which Chris moment I like the most. And I’m only going to make it worse for myself with the ideas I’ve yet to write/post lol. Thank you for listing those... they are my favorites as well.
