Started watching Vinland Saga

So, the strangest thing just happened! I started watching Vinland Saga. I heard it was very good and... apart from having seen some characterdesings (without knowing their names or personality) that was all I know about it... So... went in with high expectations.

I’m now at episode four, and what I feared would happen pretty much since I saw the intro, just happened. The most badass character died. I loved Thors... As much as I could ever like a character within four episodes... that man was awesome. Layered and interesting, badass, strong but also with a lot of emotional depth and heart! Really liked him...

Still, I can’t really feel mad or even properly sad at his death? Why? Because his killer.... just had... like... the most amazaing character introduction. I don’t know what it is, but Askellad makes me so hyped to see how this fight may (hopefully) change him or how he would progress now that he has little Thorfinn following around trying to murder him, that I’m just unable to be properly mad at Thors death. Askellad just seems like the kind of guy that... if his development, character, charme... is anywhere as good as I hope it might be, could be my favorite character so far... Even more than Thors.

And that’s just weird for me, because normally, when my favorite character dies I get really mad, to the point of maybe ‘ragequitting’ a show...

Anyway, please don’t spoil me :D
