Y/N wandered through the dense forest, each step crackling the leaves beneath her feet. The tales of crazed people lurking around had always been a whisper among her friends, but she never expected to stumble upon anything more sinister.
"Just my luck," she muttered to herself, pushing aside a low-hanging branch. "If only I had taken the other path."
Suddenly, the air thickened with tension. She heard a low growl followed by hissing voices. Curiosity and fear mingled within her as she moved closer to the source of the noise. She peered through the bushes and her eyes widened in shock. Before her, werewolves and vampires clashed in a fierce battle.
"No way," Y/N whispered. "They're real?"
She ducked behind a tree, heart pounding in her chest. "I need to get out of here," she thought, scanning the area for an escape route.
Amid the chaos, Ni-Ki, a vampire with an imposing presence, sensed something. "Something's not right," he thought, glancing around briefly before being attacked by Jeongin, a formidable werewolf. "Focus, Ni-Ki," he muttered to himself, parrying Jeongin's assault.
Y/N decided to make her move. She tiptoed backward, careful not to draw any attention. But as she turned to run, a sharp branch sliced her wrist.
"Ow!" she yelped, clamping her hand over the wound.
The scent of her blood permeated the air. Both factions, deep in their fight, momentarily paused. The vampires, in particular, seemed to grow restless. Ni-Ki, driven by an insatiable hunger, broke away from the fight. He moved swiftly through the forest, following the tantalizing scent.
Y/N was trying to bind her wound with a piece of cloth when she felt a presence behind her. She spun around and found herself face-to-face with Ni-Ki.
"Who are you?" she demanded, taking a step back.
Ni-Ki smirked, his eyes glinting with a dangerous light. "You're bleeding," he said, almost to himself, as he reached out to grab her wrist. "It smells... incredible."
"Let go of me!" Y/N struggled, but Ni-Ki's grip was unyielding. He brought her wrist to his lips, licking the blood off his hand.
"Stop it!" she cried, trying to pull away.
Ni-Ki shuddered with pleasure. "You taste... better than any human blood I've ever tasted," he murmured, his voice thick with intoxication.
Y/N's eyes widened in horror as Ni-Ki's fangs elongated. "No... please," she whispered, tears filling her eyes.
"I can't resist," he muttered before sinking his fangs into her arm. The pain was sharp and immediate, but quickly transformed into a strange, dizzying sensation. Y/N's legs buckled, but Ni-Ki caught her, holding her close.
"Stay with me," he whispered against her skin, his voice a blend of command and plea.
Back in the forest, the remaining vampires and werewolves searched frantically for Ni-Ki and the mysterious girl.
"Where did he go?" Sunghoon, another vampire, growled, his eyes scanning the dark underbrush.
"He's vanished," Hyunjin, a werewolf, replied, his tone frustrated. "And he took someone with him."
Y/N, meanwhile, felt herself weakening as Ni-Ki continued to drink. "Why are you doing this?" she managed to whisper.
Ni-Ki paused, lifting his head to look into her eyes. "Because you are extraordinary," he said softly. "And not just because of your blood." He brushed a strand of hair from her face. "You are beautiful, and I want you all to myself."
Y/N's head spun, both from blood loss and his words. "You can't... keep me," she stammered, trying to cling to consciousness.
"Shh," Ni-Ki soothed, pressing a finger to her lips. "Rest now. You're mine."
Ni-Ki held Y/N tightly, his mind racing with possibilities. He had to find a way to keep her hidden, to protect her from the others. She was too precious to lose.
"I won't let them take you," he murmured, his voice barely audible over the rustling leaves. "You're mine."
As Y/N drifted into unconsciousness, her last thought was a mix of fear and a strange, twisted sense of safety. Ni-Ki, her captor and savior, carried her deeper into the forest, away from prying eyes.
Meanwhile, back at the edge of the forest, the other vampires were getting worried.
"We take our eyes off him for a split second," Jungwon cursed, frustration evident in his voice. "Ni-Ki! Where are you?"
"He still needs to be tamed," Jay muttered, scanning the dark woods. "I hope whoever was out here is okay."
"Let's split up and search," Sunghoon suggested. "He couldn't have gone far."
Back at their apartment, Ni-Ki gently laid Y/N on his bed, tucking her in with surprising tenderness. He watched her, gently stroking her hair as she slept in her unconscious state.
"Why is your blood different?" he whispered, more to himself than to her. "Why does it make me feel so... possessive?"
He paced the room, confused. Most blood he tasted was metallic, but hers was sweet, intoxicatingly so. He couldn't understand the effect she had on him.
The door burst open, and the boys walked in, their expressions a mix of anger and concern.
"Ni-Ki, what have you done?" Jungwon demanded, eyes blazing. "We were worried sick."
Ni-Ki stopped pacing, his eyes narrowing protectively. "She's mine. Don't touch her."
"Calm down," Jungwon said, stepping forward with his hands raised. "We're not here to take her away. We just want to understand."
Ni-Ki took a deep breath, trying to steady his racing thoughts. "It was her blood," he explained, his voice trembling slightly. "It's sweeter than any other human's. And she's... beautiful. As soon as our eyes met, I saw a future with her."
The others exchanged glances, finally understanding his actions.
"If her blood is sweeter for Ni-Ki, that means she's his soul mate," Sunghoon said thoughtfully. "If any of us tried her blood, it would taste normal. Only he can taste the sweetness."
"That makes sense," Jay agreed, nodding. "No wonder he's so possessive."
Jungwon approached Ni-Ki, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Listen, Ni-Ki. We understand now. But you need to be careful. The others will come looking for her."
"I won't let them have her," Ni-Ki said fiercely. "She's mine, and I'll protect her with my life.
"Then we'll help you," Jungwon said firmly. "But we need to work together. Can you trust us?"
Ni-Ki hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Yes. But remember, she's mine. Don't forget that."
"We won't," Jungwon assured him. "Now, let's figure out how to keep her safe."
As they strategized, Y/N lay unconscious, oblivious to the plans being made around her. She had no idea how deeply her fate had entwined with Ni-Ki's, or how fiercely he intended to keep her by his side.
"We need to figure out how to calm her down when she wakes up," Jungwon said, glancing at the others. "She's going to be terrified. Ni-Ki just snatched her up and took her blood without her consent. That's not something she'll easily forget."
"She's beautiful, no doubt," Jay said, looking at Y/N. "But it's not as intense for us as it is for Ni-Ki. She's definitely his mate."
While she slept, they cleaned her wound and bandaged her arm. They even changed her into some of Ni-Ki's clothes.
"Ni-Ki, step back," Sunghoon ordered. "We need to change her clothes, and you hovering over her isn't helping."
Reluctantly, Ni-Ki allowed himself to be pulled away, his eyes never leaving Y/N.
"You took a lot of blood from her, Ni-Ki," Heeseung said sternly. "You're lucky she's still alive. If she had died, you would be alone forever."
Ni-Ki looked down, guilt washing over him. "I couldn't control myself. Her blood... it's intoxicating."
"You're still young," Sunoo added, trying to lighten the mood. "I'm surprised you were able to find your mate so quickly. We're older, and even we haven't found ours yet."
"A vampire only connects with one mate for a lifetime," Sunghoon reminded him. "Once they're gone, that's it. You won't be able to find another."
Ni-Ki pouted, the weight of the information sinking in. He knew he had taken too much blood from Y/N, and the realization that he had almost lost his one and only mate because of his recklessness scared him.
"I'm sorry," Ni-Ki whispered, his voice trembling with emotion.
Jungwon placed a hand on Ni-Ki's shoulder. "It's done now. What's important is that she's alive. We need to focus on keeping her safe and helping her adjust."
"How do we explain all this to her?" Ni-Ki asked, anxiety creeping into his voice. "She'll think we're monsters."
"Because we are," Jay said with a grim smile. "But we need to show her that you're not just a monster. You care about her."
Ni-Ki nodded, determination hardening his features. "I'll do whatever it takes to make her understand. She's mine, and I'll protect her."
"Good," Jungwon said. "But we all need to be on the same page. No surprises."
"Agreed," Sunghoon said. "We don't need her panicking and trying to escape. That would just complicate things."
As they finished their conversation, Y/N stirred, a soft moan escaping her lips. Ni-Ki's heart skipped a beat as he watched her eyes flutter open.
"She's waking up," Sunoo said, stepping back to give her space.
Y/N's eyes opened, confusion and fear evident in her gaze. She tried to sit up, wincing at the pain in her arm.
"Take it easy," Jake said softly, moving closer but keeping a respectful distance. "You're safe."
When Y/N's vision cleared, her eyes landed on Ni-Ki. Her eyes widened in fear and recognition. Forgetting the pain in her arm, she sat up straight and curled up in the corner of the bed. All memories of what happened came flooding back.
"No, no, no," she murmured, shaking her head. "Stay away from me."
Ni-Ki's heart sank, breaking a little at the sight of his mate scared of him. "Please, don't be afraid," he pleaded, his voice gentle. "I didn't mean to hurt you."
Y/N's eyes darted around the room, looking for an escape. "What are you? Why did you take me?"
"We're vampires," Jungwon said calmly, trying to ease her fear. "Ni-Ki brought you here to protect you."
"Protect me?" Y/N scoffed, tears welling up in her eyes. "He attacked me!"
"I know it seems that way," Sunghoon said, stepping forward. "But Ni-Ki didn't mean to harm you. Your blood... it's special to him."
"Special?" Y/N repeated, her voice shaking. "What does that even mean?"
"It means you're his mate," Sunoo explained softly. "Your blood is sweeter to him than anyone else's. It's a sign that you're connected."
Y/N looked at Ni-Ki, her eyes filled with a mix of fear and confusion. "Is that true?"
Ni-Ki nodded, taking a tentative step closer. "Yes. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true. You're special to me. I'm sorry for scaring you, but I promise, I'll protect you with my life."
"How can I trust you?" Y/N asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Give us a chance to show you," Jungwon said. "We'll explain everything. Just... give us a chance."
Y/N hesitated, looking around at the earnest faces surrounding her. "Alright," she finally said, her voice trembling. "But I need answers."
"And you'll get them," Ni-Ki promised, relief flooding his voice. "We'll explain everything."
After a while, Y/N had calmed down, but she was still wary of Ni-Ki. Every time he approached her, she instinctively backed away, creating a distance that was starting to frustrate him. The frustration was palpable; a vampire's natural inclination is to be close to their mate, and this separation was agonizing for him.
"Why won't she let me near her?" Ni-Ki muttered under his breath, pacing the room.
"Give her time," Jungwon advised. "She needs to understand our world first."
Sunoo sat down next to Y/N, trying to put her at ease. "We don't turn to dust, burn in daylight, and we definitely don't sparkle," he began, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Our eyes and skin are sensitive to sunlight, more so than humans. We look more... dead under it, which is why we wear sunglasses and cover our bodies to avoid drawing attention."
Y/N nodded, trying to absorb the information. "So, you can walk in daylight, but you prefer not to?"
"Exactly," Sunghoon chimed in. "Vampires don't sleep, but we do rest our eyes. The daylight, while not deadly, is uncomfortable for us, so we rest during the day."
Jungwon stepped in, trying to clarify further. "Most of us have learned to control our thirst for blood," he said, glancing at Ni-Ki. "The younger ones, like Ni-Ki, can struggle. They need proper training to avoid going rogue."
"Going rogue?" Y/N echoed, her eyes widening in fear.
"Yes," Sunghoon explained. "When a vampire can't control their blood lust, they become dangerous. They kill and drain their victims completely."
"So, Ni-Ki nearly drained me," Y/N said, her voice trembling. "Does that mean he was going rogue?"
"No," Jungwon reassured her. "Because of the connection he felt with you, he was able to pull away in time."
Ni-Ki took a deep breath, stepping closer to Y/N despite her obvious discomfort. "I'm sorry for scaring you," he said softly. "I never wanted to hurt you."
Y/N looked at him, her eyes filled with a mix of fear and curiosity. "Why did you take so much blood from me?"
"I couldn't control myself," Ni-Ki admitted, his voice heavy with regret. "Your blood is different. It's sweeter, more intoxicating. It drew me in."
"But you stopped," Y/N said, almost to herself. "You didn't kill me."
"Because you're my mate," Ni-Ki said, his eyes pleading for her understanding. "I felt a connection with you. I would never forgive myself if I lost you."
Y/N took a deep breath, trying to process everything. "So, what happens now?"
"We take it one step at a time," Sunoo said gently. "We'll help you adjust, and we'll make sure Ni-Ki learns to control himself around you."
"And if I decide I don't want to stay?" Y/N asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Then we'll respect your decision," Jungwon said, though his eyes flicked to Ni-Ki, who looked pained at the thought. "But give us a chance to show you that you belong here, with us."
Ni-Ki's frustration was evident, but he nodded. "I just want to be close to you," he said, his voice cracking. "Please, give me a chance to prove that I can protect you."
Y/N looked around at the group, seeing the sincerity in their eyes. She sighed, her resistance slowly crumbling. "Okay," she said finally. "I'll give you a chance. But you have to promise not to hurt me."
"I promise," Ni-Ki said immediately, relief flooding his features. "I'll do everything I can to make you feel safe.
"Alright then," Y/N said, still cautious but a bit more at ease. "Let's see where this goes."
Heeseung chuckled, trying to lighten the mood. "What's your name anyway? Here's Ni-Ki finding his mate, and we don't even know your name."
"My name is Y/N," she replied.
Ni-Ki repeated her name in his head, thinking it was the most beautiful name in the world. It suited her perfectly.
Each member introduced themselves in turn.
"I'm Heeseung.
"Jungwon."
"Sunghoon."
"Sunoo."
"Jay."
"Jake."
"Nice to meet you all," Y/N said, feeling slightly overwhelmed but grateful for their introductions.
As the night went on, the boys started to do their own things, giving Y/N some space. She stuck close to Sunoo, who looked the least intimidating out of all of them.
"Only one hour till sunrise," Sunoo noted, glancing at his watch. "Maybe you should get some more sleep. It'll take a whole day for you to recover from the blood loss."
Y/N nodded, feeling the exhaustion creeping back.
"Seeing as you'll be staying here, we will collect your things from your place when you're fully recovered?" Jake said before leaving.
Sunoo nodded. "Yes, we'll make sure you have everything you need."
"I'm really staying here from now on?" she asked, a mix of disbelief and resignation in her voice.
Jungwon overheard and approached them with a reassuring smile. "It's not exactly a bad thing. Think of it as having your very own bodyguards."
"I guess that's one way to look at it," Y/N replied, managing a small smile.
Ni-Ki, who had been watching from a distance, approached cautiously. "If there's anything you need or any questions you have, just let me know," he said softly, trying to bridge the gap between them.
Y/N looked at him, seeing the earnestness in his eyes. "I will. Thank you, Ni-Ki."
He nodded, feeling a bit of relief. "Goodnight, Y/N. Rest well."
"Goodnight," she replied, lying back down on the bed.
As Y/N drifted off to sleep, the boys continued their quiet activities, respecting her need for rest. Ni-Ki watched her for a moment longer, a protective instinct burning within him. Sunoo noticed his reluctance to leave and approached him with a gentle smile.
"Come on, Ni-Ki," Sunoo said, patting his back. "Let her rest. You can stay in my room tonight. I miss having a roommate."
Ni-Ki sighed, casting one last glance at Y/N before allowing Sunoo to drag him out of the room. "Alright, alright. But just for tonight."
The next time Y/N woke up, it was past noon. She felt more relaxed, and her energy had picked up a bit. She hoped it was all a dream, but the unfamiliar surroundings confirmed otherwise. Sitting up, she noticed she was still in clothes that weren't her own. Curiosity getting the better of her, she decided to explore the spacious apartment.
"Wow, this place is huge," she murmured to herself, taking in the modern furnishings and the large TV in the living room. "It almost feels normal."
Her eyes then landed on the main door. Tempted to escape, she looked around and saw no one, assuming they were probably still resting. Seizing the opportunity, she quietly walked towards the door. Just as she reached for the handle, Heeseung appeared in front of her, blocking the door with a swift movement.
"Going somewhere?" he asked with a raised eyebrow, a small smile playing on his lips.
Y/N jumped back, startled. "I... I was just..."
"Thinking of leaving?" Heeseung finished for her. "It's not safe out there for you, not right now anyway."
"It's not safe in here either," she shot back, her voice trembling.
Heeseung's smile faded, replaced by a serious expression. "I understand how you feel, but you need to know something important. Going rogue isn't just about the thirst and crave for blood. You're Ni-Ki's mate. If you leave, it won't just break his heart."
Y/N frowned, trying to process his words. "What do you mean?"
"Being his mate means you're bonded," Heeseung explained gently. "If you were to leave, it could hurt Ni-Ki in ways you can't imagine. He needs you, and whether you realize it or not, you need him too."
The room fell silent for a moment, tension hanging in the air. Suddenly, Y/N's stomach rumbled loudly, breaking the silence. She blushed, feeling embarrassed.
Heeseung chuckled softly. "Looks like someone's hungry. How about we go out to a café to eat? And while we're out, we can stop by your place to pack your things."
"Really?" Y/N asked, surprised by the offer. "You'd let me do that?"
"Of course," Heeseung said, nodding. "You're not a prisoner here. We want you to feel comfortable."
Just then, Ni-Ki appeared, already dressed in dark clothes and sunglasses, ready to head out. "I heard you might want to go out," he said, his voice soft but filled with determination. "I'll come with you."
Y/N hesitated, still feeling uneasy around him. "You don't have to..."
"I want to," Ni-Ki interrupted gently. "I want to make sure you're safe."
"Okay," Y/N agreed reluctantly. "But no funny business."
Ni-Ki nodded, a hint of a smile on his lips. "I promise."
As they walked out of the apartment, Heeseung tried to lighten the mood. "So, Y/N, what's your favorite food?"
"I... I like pasta," she admitted, trying to relax. "And maybe some coffee."
"Pasta and coffee it is then," Heeseung said with a grin. "We know just the place."
The café they went to was cozy and welcoming. Y/N couldn't help but feel a bit more at ease as they settled into a booth. Ni-Ki sat across from her, his eyes never leaving her face, but he kept his distance, respecting her space.
"Order whatever you like," Ni-Ki said softly, sliding a menu towards her. "It's on us."
Y/N scanned the menu, her appetite returning. "I'll have the fettuccine alfredo and a cappuccino."
"Good choice," Heeseung said, signaling the waiter. "Make that three."
As they waited for their food, Y/N found herself relaxing more. The conversation flowed easily, and she started to see a different side of the boys, especially Ni-Ki, who seemed genuinely concerned for her well-being.
"So, what do you do when you're not... you know, being vampires?" Y/N asked, trying to break the ice.
"We have normal hobbies," Heeseung said with a chuckle. "Sunoo likes to cook, Jungwon is into sports, and Ni-Ki... well, he's a bit of a music nerd."
"Really?" Y/N looked at Ni-Ki, intrigued. "What kind of music?"
"All kinds," Ni-Ki admitted, smiling shyly. "I play the piano and the guitar. Music helps me... stay grounded."
Their food arrived, and they ate in comfortable silence for a while. Y/N couldn't deny that the pasta was delicious, and the coffee was just what she needed.
After they finished eating, Heeseung suggested, "Ready to head to your place?"
Y/N nodded, feeling more confident. "Yes, let's go."
As they walked to her apartment, Ni-Ki stayed close but didn't crowd her. Y/N appreciated his efforts to make her feel comfortable. When they reached her place, she quickly packed a bag with essentials, feeling a strange mix of emotions.
"All set?" Heeseung asked as she zipped up her bag.
"Yes," Y/N said, taking a deep breath. "I guess I am."
As they left her apartment, Y/N felt a sense of unease. The patrons around them stared in awe, making her feel a bit overwhelmed. Whispers floated through the air, comments about how intimidating yet incredibly handsome the boys looked.
"Do you usually get these stares?" Y/N asked in a whisper, glancing nervously at the onlookers.
"It's hard to tell. We don't usually pay attention," Heeseung replied with a casual shrug. "Plus, we rarely go outside during the day, remember?"
"It's quite nice, though," he added with a grin, his eyes scanning the crowd. "I feel like a celebrity." He flashed a charming smile at a group of young women who were staring at him, causing them to giggle and fangirl.
Ni-Ki rolled his eyes. "Heeseung, stop flirting," he muttered, earning a playful glare from Heeseung.
"I can't help it if people find me irresistible," Heeseung shot back with a wink.
As they continued walking, Y/N spotted a familiar face in the distance. "Minho!" she called out, waving.
Heeseung quickly stepped in front of her, stopping her in her tracks. "Y/N, wait."
"What? I can't call over a friend?" she asked, confused.
"It's not that," Heeseung said, looking uneasy. "How do you know him?"
"We've known each other since we were kids. Why?"
Heeseung sighed. "He was one of the werewolves we were fighting with last night. We should keep our distance for now."
"Minho's a werewolf?" Y/N asked, her eyes widening in shock.
"For a while now. He's in BangChan's pack," Heeseung explained. "If you're friends, I'm surprised he didn't tell you sooner."
"I never knew," Y/N said, feeling a mix of betrayal and confusion.
Ni-Ki, who had been silent, let out a little huff. "He's a bit old to be your friend," he muttered, jealousy evident in his tone.
Y/N looked at him, slightly annoyed. "He used to help his mother babysit me. He's like an older brother."
Just then, Minho, sensing someone was talking about him, turned around and spotted Y/N. His eyes lit up and he waved, starting to walk over until he saw Heeseung and Ni-Ki next to her. His expression immediately darkened, frowning at the sight of them so close to Y/N.
"Y/N, what's going on?" Minho called out, concern etched on his face as he approached.
"Minho, I..." Y/N began, but Heeseung stepped in front of her protectively.
"She's with us," Heeseung said firmly.
Minho's eyes narrowed. "Why are you with them, Y/N? These guys are dangerous."
"They're not—it's complicated," Y/N replied, stepping around Heeseung to face Minho directly. "We need to talk, but not here."
Minho glared at Heeseung, who was blocking his way. His eyes then fell on the bandage on Y/N's arm, making him angrier. "No, we can talk about this now," he said, standing straight. "What did you do to her? Bet you had a nice little bite, didn't you?" He looked back and forth between Heeseung and Ni-Ki.
Before the boys could answer, Y/N spoke up. "I was in the forest last night. The blood you guys could smell was mine," she explained. "Ni-Ki found me first and... he didn't mean to bite me."
"Didn't mean to bite you? They're vampires; they crave blood," Minho said, his voice rising in frustration.
He stepped closer, grabbing Y/N's arm to pull her towards him. "Y/N, let's go. Me and the guys can look after you."
Ni-Ki's eyes flashed with anger as he swiftly grabbed Y/N by the waist, cradling her protectively. His eyes glowed red beneath his sunglasses. "Stay away from her, Minho. She's mine," Ni-Ki warned, his voice low and dangerous.
"Ni-Ki, calm down, or you'll make a scene," Heeseung hissed, trying to diffuse the situation.
Minho's eyes widened but he kept his guard up. He was about to argue back when he noticed the intensity of Ni-Ki's grip on Y/N. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Minho reluctantly let go of Y/N. Ni-Ki, however, continued to hold her close.
"Minho, please," Y/N said softly, looking between him and Ni-Ki. She placed a hand against Ni-Ki's chest, her gentle touch calming him down. He loosened his grip but didn't let go entirely.
Minho's expression softened slightly. "You better keep Y/N safe," he warned Ni-Ki, his voice low. "If anything happens to her, I will kill you."
Y/N's heart raced as she tried to navigate the tension between her old friend and her new reality. "Minho, I'll be okay. They promised to protect me."
Minho looked at her, a mix of concern and resignation in his eyes. "Fine. But I'll be checking in on you, Y/N. Don't think for a second that I'm going to let this slide."
Ni-Ki, still holding Y/N protectively, nodded. "We understand. She'll be safe with us."
With one last look of warning, Minho turned and walked away, casting wary glances over his shoulder.
As they continued their walk back to the apartment, Y/N glanced at Ni-Ki. "Was that really necessary?" she asked, her voice soft.
Ni-Ki sighed, his expression conflicted. "I couldn't help it. The thought of losing you... it drives me crazy."
Heeseung chuckled, trying to lighten the mood. "Looks like you've got your hands full, Ni-Ki."
Y/N rolled her eyes but smiled a little. "Let's just get back. I think I've had enough excitement for one day."
As they walked, Ni-Ki leaned closer to Y/N. "I'm sorry for scaring you. I just... I don't want anything to happen to you."
Y/N nodded, feeling a strange sense of reassurance. "I understand. Just try not to be so overprotective, okay?
"I'll try," Ni-Ki promised, his voice sincere. "But no guarantees."
They finally reached the apartment, and Y/N felt a wave of relief wash over her. They entered, Heeseung carrying Y/N's suitcase.
"We can put you in Sunoo's room, he's always wanted a roommate," Heeseung announced
"Yaaay!" Sunoo cheered, appearing from around the corner with a big smile on his face. "Welcome, Y/N! I promise I don't snore."
Y/N chuckled. "Thanks, Sunoo. I'm sure it'll be fine."
Ni-Ki, standing behind Heeseung, frowned slightly. He had hoped Y/N would share his room since she was his mate. "Wait, can't she—" he began.
Heeseung cut him off with a stern look. "Don't even think about it, Ni-Ki."
Ni-Ki sighed, his shoulders slumping a bit. "Fine," he muttered, not entirely happy with the arrangement.
Sunoo grabbed Y/N's suitcase eagerly. "Come on, I'll show you where you'll be staying."
As they walked to Sunoo's room, Y/N glanced around, trying to take in her new surroundings. "Your room is really nice. It feels... cozy."
"Glad you like it," Sunoo said, opening the door to his room. "This is our room now. You can take the bed by the window. I'll get some extra pillows and blankets for you.
Y/N nodded, setting her bag down by the bed. "Thanks, Sunoo. I appreciate it."
Ni-Ki lingered in the doorway, watching them. "If you need anything, just let us know," he said softly. "We're here to help."
"Ni-Ki's right," Heeseung added, stepping into the room. "We want you to feel comfortable here."
Y/N looked at them, feeling a mix of gratitude and apprehension. "Thanks, guys. It's a lot to take in, but I appreciate everything you're doing."
Sunoo grinned, clapping his hands together. "Alright! How about a little tour of the apartment? Let's make sure you know where everything is.
Y/N nodded, following Sunoo out of the room. "Sure, that sounds good."
As they walked through the apartment, Sunoo pointed out different rooms and amenities. "This is the kitchen. Feel free to grab anything you need. We usually keep it stocked."
"Got it," Y/N said, peeking inside. "Looks like you guys have everything."
Heeseung joined them, leaning against the counter. "Sunoo's a great cook. You'll never go hungry here."
"I'll have to take you up on that," Y/N replied with a smile.
They moved on to the living room. "This is where we hang out," Sunoo explained. "We've got a big TV, plenty of movies, and games. Make yourself at home."
Y/N looked around, impressed by the setup. "Wow, you guys really know how to live."
"Well, it's also yours now," Heeseung said, turning the TV on. "I know we had a bit of a rocky start last night with Ni-Ki going a bit manic on you, and I know that you're still a bit scared, but I assure you this is for the best. Other vampires will probably know you're Ni-Ki's mate by now and would do anything to get their hands on you to get to him and us. It's important you stay close so that we can protect you."
Jungwon came out of the kitchen with a tray holding glasses filled with red liquid. "Time for our pint, guys," he said, placing the tray down on the coffee table.
Jungwon then looked at Y/N and her arm. "We'll get Sunghoon to change the bandage for you. You'll need a clean one." He motioned Sunghoon to tend to Y/N's arm.
The boys grabbed their pint and started drinking. Y/N made a grimace as she watched them. Ni-Ki also grimaced as he took a mouthful. After tasting Y/N's blood, other blood tasted horrible to him.
"Does it always taste like that?" Y/N asked, unable to hide her curiosity.
Heeseung chuckled, wiping his mouth. "It's an acquired taste. Most of us get used to it."
Ni-Ki sighed, setting his glass down. "Nothing compares to yours," he admitted, his eyes softening as he looked at her.
Y/N blushed, looking away. "I'm not sure how I feel about that."
Sunghoon approached with a fresh bandage. "Let me take care of that for you," he said gently, carefully unwrapping the old bandage.
Y/N winced slightly but nodded. "Thanks, Sunghoon."
"No problem," Sunghoon replied, focused on his task. "We need to make sure it heals properly."
Ni-Ki watched closely, his eyes filled with concern. "Does it still hurt?"
"A little," Y/N admitted. "But it's not too bad."
Heeseung leaned back, observing the interaction. "You're handling this all pretty well, Y/N. Most people would be freaking out."
Y/N gave a small smile. "I guess I'm just trying to adapt. It's a lot to take in, but you all have been really kind."
"Kind?" Jay scoffed playfully, joining them in the living room. "Wait until you see us during a video game tournament. It's every vampire for himself."
Y/N laughed, feeling a bit more at ease. "I'll keep that in mind."
Sunghoon finished bandaging her arm and stepped back. "There you go. All set."
"Thanks," Y/N said, flexing her fingers slightly. "I appreciate it."
Ni-Ki stood up, looking a bit restless. "Do you want to see the rooftop garden? It's a nice place to relax."
"A garden?" Y/N asked, intrigued. "I'd love to see it."
"Follow me," Ni-Ki said, leading the way.
They walked up a flight of stairs and stepped out onto the rooftop. The garden was lush and vibrant, filled with flowers and plants of all kinds.
"This is beautiful," Y/N said, her eyes wide with wonder. "Did you guys do all this?"
"Mostly Sunoo," Ni-Ki replied, smiling. "He's got a green thumb."
Sunoo beamed with pride. "I'm glad you like it. It's a great place to unwind."
Y/N walked around, admiring the flowers. "It's so peaceful up here."
Ni-Ki watched her, his expression softening. "I'm glad you're starting to feel at home."
Y/N looked back at him, a hint of a smile on her lips. "Thanks, Ni-Ki. I think I'm getting there."
Heeseung, who had followed them up, clapped Ni-Ki on the back. "See? You're doing fine. Just give her some space."
Ni-Ki nodded, grateful for the support. "I will. I just want her to be happy."
"Wait, hold on, can you repeat that again, Minho? You're speaking too fast," BangChan said, trying to calm Minho down.
Minho took a deep breath, his frustration evident. "Jungwon's clan has Y/N, the girl I used to help babysit with my mom. She was in the forest the other night and saw us fighting. Now, Ni-Ki has marked her as his mate."
BangChan's eyes widened in shock. "Wait, Y/N? The same Y/N we've known for years?"
"Yes!" Minho snapped, then sighed, running a hand through his hair. "It's her. She was there during our fight with the vampires, and now she's with them."
Jeongin, who had been listening quietly, stepped forward. "I was fighting with Ni-Ki. He was distracted even before we could smell the blood. I think he knew she was there before anyone else did."
BangChan frowned, trying to piece everything together. "So, Ni-Ki sensed her presence before the fight even started?"
"Yes," Jeongin confirmed. "It's like he was drawn to her."
Minho shook his head in disbelief. "I can't believe this. How could we let this happen?"
BangChan placed a hand on Minho's shoulder. "We need to stay calm and think this through. If Ni-Ki has marked her as his mate, things just got a lot more complicated."
Minho's frustration boiled over. "Complicated? She's in danger, Chan! We need to get her back."
"We will," BangChan assured him. "But rushing in without a plan will only make things worse. We need to figure out our next move carefully."
Jeongin nodded in agreement. "BangChan's right. We can't just storm in there. We need to understand their intentions and find a way to get her out safely."
Minho clenched his fists, trying to keep his emotions in check. "I just don't want anything to happen to her. She's like a sister to me."
BangChan looked at Minho, his expression serious. "We won't let anything happen to her. We'll find a way to get her back. But we need to be smart about this."
"Maybe we can try to negotiate with Jungwon. Explain the situation and see if they'll release her."Jeongin chimed in.
"Negotiate? With vampires? They won't listen to reason." Minho scoffed.
BangChan sighed. "It's worth a shot. If Ni-Ki truly sees her as his mate, he might be willing to talk. We need to find a way to reach them."
Jeongin thought for a moment. "What if we use Minho as a mediator? He knows Y/N well and might be able to convince Ni-Ki to let her go."
Minho hesitated but then nodded slowly. "I'll do whatever it takes to get her back. Even if it means talking to those bloodsuckers."
"Alright," BangChan said decisively. "Minho, you'll reach out to them. Set up a meeting and see if we can negotiate her release. Jeongin and I will prepare for the worst-case scenario."
Minho took a deep breath, feeling a bit more hopeful. "I'll do it. I'll get her back."
BangChan patted Minho on the back. "We're with you, Minho. We'll get Y/N back safely."
Jeongin added, "And if they refuse to let her go, we'll be ready to fight. But for now, let's hope for the best."
Minho nodded, determination in his eyes. "I'll contact them right away. Let's bring Y/N home."
A few days later, Jungwon agreed to meet up with Minho. Heeseung accompanied Jungwon, while BangChan came along with Minho. The tension was palpable as they met in a neutral location, a quiet, secluded park away from prying eyes.
Minho didn't waste any time. "We need to talk about taking Y/N back," he said, his voice firm.
Jungwon sighed, looking at Minho. "We can't just hand her back to you guys, you know. Things have become complicated now that Ni-Ki and Y/N have a connection."
"Yes, I gathered that Y/N is his mate," Minho replied, glaring at Heeseung.
Heeseung held Minho's gaze, unflinching. "Ni-Ki is very protective of her. When you tried to take her away the first time, he became very possessive. He's not going to let her go lightly."
BangChan intervened, trying to keep the conversation calm. "We understand the connection, but Y/N's life is in danger. She had no consent to any of this. She was just in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Jungwon nodded. "We know, and we're truly sorry about that. But you have to understand, her blood tasted sweet to Ni-Ki, meaning she is his soulmate. He got a bit too excited and marked her without knowing the consequences because he's young and still learning."
"That's not an excuse," Minho snapped, his anger rising. "A human's life is in danger. She didn't ask for any of this."
Heeseung stepped forward, trying to reason with Minho. "We get it, Minho. But it really is best if she stays with us. For her sake and for Ni-Ki's. If we separate them..."
"They go rogue," BangChan finished for him, understanding the gravity of the situation.
"Exactly," Jungwon said. "And we don't want that to happen, do we? Not to mention other vampires probably know about her by now and would do anything to get their hands on her."
Minho's fists clenched in frustration. "So, what are you suggesting? That we just leave her with you and trust that you'll keep her safe?"
Heeseung nodded. "Yes, exactly. We'll protect her with our lives. Ni-Ki would never let anything happen to her."
BangChan sighed, rubbing his temples. "This is such a mess. We just want to make sure she's okay. Can we at least see her? Talk to her?"
Jungwon considered this for a moment. "We can arrange that. But it has to be under our supervision. Ni-Ki is very sensitive about her safety right now."
Minho nodded reluctantly. "Fine. But if I see even a hint of distress on her face, we're taking her back. No questions asked."
Heeseung agreed. "Fair enough. We'll set up a meeting. Let's head back and talk to Ni-Ki and Y/N about it."
As they turned to leave, BangChan called out. "Wait. What happens if Y/N decides she wants to come back with us? Will you respect her choice?"
Jungwon paused, exchanging a glance with Heeseung. "If that's what she truly wants, we won't stop her. But we need to make sure she understands the risks."
Minho's eyes narrowed. "She shouldn't have to live with this kind of fear. She deserves a normal life."
Jungwon's expression softened. "We know. But right now, her safety is our top priority. We'll do everything we can to make her feel comfortable and secure."
BangChan nodded. "Alright. We'll trust you for now. But we'll be watching closely."
Heeseung offered a small smile. "We wouldn't expect anything less."
They all walked back to their respective territories, the tension still hanging in the air but with a glimmer of hope that a peaceful resolution might be possible.
Back at the apartment, Ni-Ki was pacing nervously. "What if they try to take her away?" he asked, his voice filled with anxiety.
Heeseung placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "They just want to see her and make sure she's okay. We'll be there the whole time. They won't take her away if she doesn't want to go."
Y/N, who had been listening from the doorway, stepped into the room. "I heard everything. I want to see Minho and BangChan. I need to talk to them."
Ni-Ki looked at her, his eyes filled with worry. "Are you sure? It might be dangerous."
"I'm sure," Y/N said firmly. "I need to let them know I'm okay. And I need to understand what's happening to me."
Jungwon nodded. "Alright. We'll set it up. But remember, we're here to protect you. You don't have to face this alone."
They arranged for Y/N to meet up with Minho and BangChan at a park during early morning daybreak. Jungwon and Ni-Ki accompanied Y/N. As soon as Y/N saw Minho, she ran straight to him, and he pulled her into his arms.
"Y/N, I've missed you. How are you holding up? You've grown quite a bit since the last time I saw you, but not much has changed," Minho grinned.
Y/N smiled, pulling back slightly to look at him. "I'm not doing too bad, Minho. It's all a bit overwhelming, you know? I take a stroll in the forest and suddenly creatures that I've read about in books and seen in shows are actually real. Now, a week later, I'm living with a group of vampires, and I'm a mate with one of them."
Minho's smile faded as he glanced over at Jungwon and Ni-Ki. "Y/N, you still have a choice. If you don't want to stay with the vampires, you can leave and stay with me and BangChan's pack. We can keep you safe too."
Y/N looked conflicted. "It's difficult. I didn't even know werewolves and vampires existed until last week. I never knew you were one, Minho. You never told me about your world."
"I thought it was best to tell you they were just fairy tales," Minho admitted. "It was safer for you not to know they were real."
"And leaving?" Y/N glanced back at Ni-Ki, who was watching her intently. "I don't think I can do that to Ni-Ki. I may not know it fully yet, but I—"
"You have a good heart, Y/N, but you've got to remember he almost went rogue after tasting your blood," Minho interrupted, his voice urgent. "He marked you and put you in this situation."
In the distance, Jungwon and Ni-Ki listened closely. The way Minho was talking, trying to make Y/N see the bad side of Ni-Ki, was making Ni-Ki angry. Jungwon noticed and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Stay calm, Ni-Ki," Jungwon whispered. "Let her decide."
Minho continued, unaware of the tension behind him. "Y/N, you can have a normal life with us. We can protect you from other vampires. You don't have to be tied to Ni-Ki if you don't want to."
Y/N shook her head slowly. "Minho, I appreciate what you're offering, but this isn't just about safety. I feel something for Ni-Ki. It's confusing and new, but it's there. I can't just walk away from that."
Minho's eyes softened, but his expression remained serious. "I understand, Y/N. But you need to think about yourself too. What if this bond puts you in more danger? What if he can't control himself next time?"
Y/N took a deep breath, glancing back at Ni-Ki. "I trust him. And I trust Jungwon and the others. They've shown me nothing but kindness and protection."
BangChan, who had been silent until now, stepped forward. "Y/N, we just want you to be safe and happy. Whatever you decide, we'll support you."
Y/N smiled at BangChan. "Thank you, Chan. That means a lot."
Minho sighed, his shoulders relaxing slightly. "Just promise me you'll be careful. And if you ever feel unsafe, you know where to find us."
"I promise," Y/N said, hugging him tightly.
As she pulled away, Ni-Ki stepped forward. "Y/N, are you ready to go back?"
Y/N nodded. "Yes, I am."
Minho looked at Ni-Ki, his expression stern but resigned. "Take care of her. If anything happens to her, you'll have to answer to me."
Ni-Ki met his gaze firmly. "I won't let anything happen to her. You have my word."
With that, Y/N, Ni-Ki, and Jungwon started to walk away. Y/N glanced back at Minho and BangChan, giving them a small wave. "I'll be in touch," she called out.
Minho waved back, a mixture of relief and worry in his eyes. "Take care, Y/N."
As they walked back to the apartment, Y/N felt a strange sense of peace. She knew her decision wasn't easy, but it was the right one for her. Ni-Ki walked beside her, his presence comforting and steady.
"Thank you for trusting me," Ni-Ki said quietly, his voice filled with sincerity.
Y/N smiled up at him. "Thank you for giving me a reason to."
In the distance and unseen, another vampire, Yuma, was watching them intently. His eyes were fixed on the group as Jungwon and Ni-Ki walked with Y/N, Ni-Ki's hand protectively on her waist. Yuma's gaze lingered on Y/N, a smirk forming on his lips.
He followed them slowly at first, blending into the shadows. As they reached a quieter, more secluded area, Yuma moved with lightning speed, suddenly appearing in front of them.
"Hello there," Yuma said, his eyes locked on Y/N. The smirk on his face widened. "What a lovely evening for a stroll."
Ni-Ki's grip on Y/N tightened possessively, his arms wrapping around her waist. "What do you want, Yuma?" he demanded, his voice low and dangerous.
"Oh, nothing much," Yuma replied casually, his gaze never leaving Y/N. "I just couldn't resist the opportunity to meet Ni-Ki's new... companion."
Y/N's heart raced as she looked at the newcomer. There was something unsettling about his playful yet menacing demeanor.
"Stay away from her," Ni-Ki growled, his eyes flashing with anger. "She's not someone you can play with."
Yuma chuckled, taking a step closer. "Oh, Ni-Ki, you know me better than that. I do love a good game. And it looks like you've found quite the prize."
Jungwon stepped forward, his eyes narrowing. "Back off, Yuma. We don't want any trouble."
Yuma raised his hands in mock surrender. "Trouble? Who, me? I'm just here to admire the view." His eyes flicked to Y/N again. "She really is quite stunning."
Ni-Ki's hold on Y/N tightened even more. "Touch her, and you'll regret it."
Yuma's smile turned wicked. "Oh, I don't need to touch her to have fun. Just knowing how much she means to you is enough to entertain me for now."
As the tension mounted, Minho and BangChan, who were about to leave the park, caught the scent of Yuma. Recognizing the danger, they quickly followed it, arriving just in time to see the standoff.
"Yuma!" Minho called out, his voice filled with authority. "Step away from them."
Yuma turned to face the newcomers, his smile never wavering. "Minho, BangChan. What a surprise. This little reunion just keeps getting better."
"We're not here to play games, Yuma," BangChan said, his tone stern. "Leave now, or we'll make you."
Yuma sighed dramatically. "Always so serious, Chan. Fine, I'll leave your precious humans and young vampires alone. For now." He glanced back at Y/N, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "But don't think this is over, Ni-Ki. I'll be watching.
With that, Yuma disappeared into the night, leaving a heavy silence in his wake. Ni-Ki relaxed his grip slightly but kept Y/N close.
"Are you okay?" he asked her softly, concern evident in his eyes.
Y/N nodded, though she was still shaken. "Yes, I'm fine. Who was that?"
"A troublemaker," Jungwon replied, his expression grim. "Yuma likes to stir up chaos. We need to be careful."
Minho stepped forward, looking at Y/N with concern. "We followed his scent when we sensed danger. Are you sure you're alright?"
Y/N gave him a reassuring smile. "I'm okay, Minho. Thank you for coming."
BangChan nodded in agreement. "We'll keep an eye out for Yuma. He won't get another chance to bother you."
Ni-Ki looked at them gratefully. "Thank you for your help. We'll make sure she's safe."
Minho met Ni-Ki's gaze. "Just remember what we talked about. Keep her safe, Ni-Ki. She's important to all of us."
Ni-Ki nodded firmly. "I won't let anything happen to her. You have my word."
As Minho and BangChan left, the group headed back to the apartment. Y/N felt a strange mix of fear and relief. She knew the road ahead wouldn't be easy, but with Ni-Ki and the others by her side, she felt ready to face whatever challenges came her way.
"Let's go home," Ni-Ki said softly, his arm still protectively around her.
Y/N nodded, leaning into his embrace. "Yeah, let's go home."
As they walked, Jungwon kept a vigilant eye on their surroundings. "Can you see why you need to stay with us, Y/N?" he asked, glancing over his shoulder. "There are more vampires like Yuma out there, plus the rogue vampires. And Ni-Ki is very territorial and possessive over you."
"Explain to me what rogue vampires are again?" Y/N asked, trying to understand the full scope of the danger.
"Rogue vampires are those who either cave to their bloodlust for human blood or, for example, if Yuma were to take you away from Ni-Ki, he could go rogue," Jungwon explained. "Basically, a vampire gone insane, crazy, and completely lost their soul."
Jungwon's explanation sent a shiver down Y/N's spine. She instinctively reached out to Ni-Ki, something she hadn't done in the few days she'd been close to him. Ni-Ki blushed darkly at her touch but squeezed her waist reassuringly.
"It's okay, Y/N," Ni-Ki whispered. "I won't let anyone take you away."
They continued walking in silence until they reached the apartment. As soon as they stepped inside, they all seemed to relax. The familiar surroundings provided a sense of security.
Jake and Sunoo looked up from the kitchen, sensing the heavy atmosphere the trio brought back with them. "What happened?" Jake asked, concern evident in his voice.
"We need to take more precautions now," Jungwon announced. "Yuma has his eyes on Y/N."
"Yuma?" Sunoo's eyes widened. "That's not good."
"So... is Yuma a rogue?" Y/N asked as Ni-Ki guided her to the couch.
"Oh no, he's not rogue. He's just annoying," Jay spoke up from where he was sitting on the couch. "You'll know a rogue when you see one. Their whole eyes are black and glow red when they smell blood. Their skin is almost completely white—"
"Almost skeleton-like as well," Heeseung finished.
It stayed quiet for a moment as Y/N processed the new information. She still had a lot to learn.
"Time for our daily dose, boys," Jungwon said, bringing another tray of pint glasses filled with blood.
The boys drank their pints as usual, but Ni-Ki hesitated, looking at his glass with distaste. The blood tasted horrible to him now after experiencing Y/N's.
"Ni-Ki, you have to drink. It's the only way to keep us sane and strong," Sunoo pleaded.
Ni-Ki sighed and brought the glass to his lips again, cringing at the taste.
"Maybe... maybe he can have my blood," Y/N trailed off, not fully comprehending what she was offering.
Ni-Ki's eyes lit up at her suggestion and glanced over at Jungwon. Jungwon thought for a moment. If it would get Ni-Ki to have his pint for the evening, he couldn't see why not.
Y/N moved over to sit next to Ni-Ki. He blushed darkly, his mind racing. He hadn't tasted her blood since their first encounter. He still remembered how sweet she tasted, but he was nervous because he didn't want to hurt or scare her like he did last time.
Y/N moved her hair out of the way to reveal her neck and shoulder for Ni-Ki.
"Guys, some privacy for them, please," Jungwon said, noticing the others staring. He stayed to watch, though.
Ni-Ki leaned in, his fangs growing slightly. His lips lingered on her skin for a moment before licking the spot he was about to bite into, making her shiver. Then he sank his teeth into her neck gently.
Just like he remembered, her blood tasted sweet, amazing, better than anything else. It was a bit painful for Y/N, but this time it felt good because he was more gentle. Y/N's heart sped up, the sound loud in her ears. Ni-Ki's hands gripped her hips, pulling her closer.
"Ni-Ki," she murmured, blushing at the goosebumps spreading across her skin.
After a couple of minutes, Ni-Ki pulled away. His eyes glowed red, a bit of her blood at the corner of his mouth. His teeth retracted back.
"You taste amazing," he whispered, his voice filled with awe.
Y/N blushed, touching the spot where he had bitten her. "It didn't hurt as much this time."
"I'm glad," Ni-Ki said, his eyes softening. "I never want to hurt you."
Jungwon approached them, satisfied with what he saw. "That should help Ni-Ki for a while. But we need to be cautious. Yuma and others like him won't give up easily."
Ni-Ki quickly looked away, slightly embarrassed. His eyes were still glowing red, and he didn't seem to notice the blood on his lips. Y/N never thought a vampire could act cute, but here she was, watching a vampire shy away because he drank from his mate's neck. She grabbed a tissue and leaned in, gently wiping the blood from the corner of Ni-Ki's mouth.
The boys watched in awe at the tender moment between them.
Sunoo nudged Jay. "Come on, let's cook something up for Y/N. She's had a rough day."
Jay nodded in agreement. "Good idea. Let's make her favorite comfort food."
As Sunoo and Jay headed to the kitchen, Jungwon began collecting the glasses to wash them up. "I'll clean these. We need to keep things tidy around here."
Meanwhile, Yuma couldn't get his mind off of Y/N. His thoughts were filled with twisted amusement at the idea of tormenting Ni-Ki by targeting Y/N. He knew full well that if he took and messed with Y/N, Ni-Ki would go rogue, and to him, that was funny.
"Yuma," K called, his arms crossed and eyebrows raised, wondering why there was a smug look on Yuma's face.
Eui Joo, Fuma, Nicholas, Jo, Harua, Taki, and Maki came into view, all curious about the situation.
Yuma grinned. "Oh, nothing. Just came into contact with Jungwon, Ni-Ki, and their new pet."
"New pet?" Fuma asked, frowning. "What are you talking about?"
"Their new human. She's quite the catch," Yuma explained, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Ni-Ki has become very possessive of her."
Nicholas smirked. "This sounds interesting. What are you planning, Yuma?"
"Just a bit of fun," Yuma replied, his tone casual but dangerous. "Messing with Ni-Ki's emotions could be entertaining."
Back at the apartment, Y/N noticed Ni-Ki's lingering embarrassment. "Are you okay?" she asked softly, still close to him.
Ni-Ki nodded, his cheeks tinged with color. "Yeah, I just... I didn't expect to feel this way. It's overwhelming."
Y/N smiled, finding his vulnerability endearing. "I understand. It's a lot for me too."
Heeseung, who had been quietly observing, decided to break the moment. "Alright, lovebirds, why don't you both sit down and relax? We've got things covered here."
Ni-Ki chuckled, finally looking back at Y/N. "Let's sit. You need to rest."
They settled on the couch, and Y/N leaned against Ni-Ki, feeling the warmth of his body next to hers. "Thank you for being so gentle," she murmured.
"I'll always be gentle with you," Ni-Ki promised, his voice full of sincerity.
In the kitchen, Sunoo and Jay were bustling around, preparing a meal. "We should make something comforting but also nutritious," Sunoo suggested, chopping vegetables.
"Agreed. Maybe a hearty soup and some garlic bread," Jay replied, stirring a pot on the stove.
Sunoo grinned. "Sounds perfect. Y/N will love it."
As they cooked, Jake wandered in, sniffing the air. "Smells good in here. What's cooking?"
"Comfort food for Y/N," Sunoo replied. "She's had a tough day."
Jake nodded, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge. "Good thinking. She needs to feel at home here."
Back in the living room, Jungwon returned, drying his hands. "Alright, everything's cleaned up. How are you feeling, Y/N?"
"A bit better, thanks," Y/N replied, snuggling closer to Ni-Ki. "Everyone's been so kind."
Jungwon smiled. "We're family now. We take care of each other."
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Everyone tensed up. Ni-Ki gently moved Y/N off his lap and stood up. "I'll get it," he said, his tone cautious.
Heeseung joined him, both of them ready for anything. When they opened the door, they found Minho and BangChan standing there.
"Hey, we wanted to check on Y/N," Minho said, his eyes scanning the room.
"She's fine," Ni-Ki replied, stepping aside to let them in.
Y/N smiled when she saw them. "Minho, BangChan! It's good to see you."
"We just wanted to make sure you're okay," BangChan said, giving her a warm smile. "How are you holding up?"
"I'm doing better," Y/N replied. "Everyone's been taking good care of me."
Minho nodded, relieved. "That's good to hear. We were worried about you."
Sunoo and Jay brought out the food, placing it on the table. "We made some soup and garlic bread. Join us," Sunoo offered.
The group gathered around the table, sharing the meal and enjoying the comfort of each other's company. For a moment, it felt like a normal family dinner, despite the looming threats.
Yuma, however, was still lurking in the shadows, plotting his next move. He knew he had to be patient, but the thought of tormenting Ni-Ki by targeting Y/N was too enticing to ignore.
As the night wore on, the group discussed their plans to keep Y/N safe. "We need to strengthen the security around the apartment," Jungwon suggested. "We can't take any chances."
"I agree," Heeseung said. "We should set up a watch schedule. Someone should always be on guard."
"I'll take the first watch," Ni-Ki volunteered, his eyes filled with determination. "I won't let anything happen to Y/N."
Minho and BangChan exchanged a look. "We'll help too," BangChan said. "We want to make sure Y/N is safe."
Y/N looked around at the group, feeling a surge of gratitude. "Thank you, everyone. I don't know what I'd do without all of you."
"You're not alone, Y/N," Ni-Ki said softly, taking her hand. "We're in this together."
The group gathered around the table, sharing the meal and enjoying the comfort of each other's company. For a moment, it felt like a normal family dinner, despite the looming threats.
As the night wore on, they began discussing their plans to keep Y/N safe. "We need to strengthen the security around the apartment," Jungwon suggested, looking around the room. "We can't take any chances."
"I agree," Heeseung said, nodding. "We should set up a watch schedule. Someone should always be on guard."
"I'll take the first watch," Ni-Ki volunteered, his eyes filled with determination. "I won't let anything happen to Y/N."
Minho and BangChan exchanged a look before BangChan spoke up. "We'll help too," he said. "We want to make sure Y/N is safe."
"We should coordinate with Beomgyu's clan too. More eyes, the better." Sunoo chimed in.
Heeseung nodded, his phone in hand. "I just spoke to Beomgyu. They're on their way and will be here soon."
As the night deepened, the group solidified their plans, ready to face whatever challenges came their way. They knew the road ahead would be difficult, but with their newfound unity and determination, they were prepared to protect each other and their bonds, no matter the cost.
In the shadows, Yuma smiled to himself, the wheels of his next scheme already turning. He knew he had to be patient, but the thought of seeing Ni-Ki go rogue was too delicious to pass up.
Inside Sunoo's room, Sunoo made sure Y/N was comfortable and asleep. Once she was settled, he quietly exited, leaving Ni-Ki to sit beside her bed, gently stroking her hair.
BangChan and Minho stepped outside to keep watch. Leaning against the building wall, BangChan broke the silence. "Never thought I would be helping vampires," he admitted, shaking his head.
"We're only helping them because of Y/N. If she never got into this mess, we wouldn't even be here," Minho replied, his tone filled with frustration.
"You should have told her before," BangChan said, looking at Minho pointedly.
Minho sighed deeply, regret evident on his face. "I thought I was protecting her back then. I didn't think that one day she would wander into the forest, see a werewolf and vampire fight, and get caught up in this world of monsters."
BangChan nodded slowly. "We can't change the past. We just have to focus on keeping her safe now."
Back in the apartment, Heeseung had just finished coordinating with Beomgyu, "I just spoke to Beomgyu. Soobin said they will help."
Sunoo nodded, "They've helped us out before. The more eyes, the better."
Outside, BangChan and Minho contacted the others in BangChan's pack to update them on the alliance with Jungwon's clan. Within minutes, Jeongin, Chanbin, Felix, Jisung, Hyunjin, and Seungmin arrived in their werewolf forms, ready for action.
Jeongin, Felix, and Hyunjin quickly shifted back to their human forms. "What's the situation?" Felix asked, looking around.
"We're forming an alliance with Jungwon's clan to protect Y/N," Minho explained. "Yuma is a significant threat, and we can't afford to let our guard down."
Hyunjin nodded. "Understood. We'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe."
Back inside, Soobin and his clan arrived. Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai followed Soobin into the apartment, ready to offer their assistance.
"So, what's the plan?" Soobin asked, looking at Jungwon.
"We need to set up a watch schedule and strengthen our defenses," Jungwon replied. "Yuma is out there, and we can't take any chances."
Yeonjun nodded in agreement. "Alright. Just tell us what to do."
As everyone settled into their roles, Ni-Ki finally left Sunoo's room, finding Heeseung and Jungwon in the living room. "Soobin's clan is here," Heeseung informed him. "We've got the extra help we needed."
Yeonjun leaned back on the couch, glancing around at the unfamiliar faces. "So who is this Y/N? How come we're protecting her?"
Jungwon sighed, rubbing his temples. "It's a long story, but she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. We were fighting BangChan's pack in the forest, and she was there by accident. Ni-Ki found her first. Her blood was sweet to him, and I guess the adrenaline got the better of him because before we even knew she was there, he took her and bit her, marking her as his mate."
"Aah, yeah, we know all about sweet blood," Soobin said, leaning forward with interest. "I guess Ni-Ki was the only one that could taste it?"
"Exactly," Sunoo chimed in. "And Ni-Ki is a bit possessive of her, so she's here with us."
Beomgyu raised an eyebrow. "And BangChan's pack? They're helping us now?"
Heeseung nodded. "Only because of Y/N. Things are a bit complicated. Y/N is a friend of Minho's—he used to help his mom babysit her when she was younger. He's not going to leave us alone."
"So, we've got both vampires and werewolves working together," Taehyun mused, his eyes wide. "Interesting."
"And Yuma now has his eyes on her," Heeseung continued, his expression serious. "That's why we need all this help. Him and his clan aren't going to back down until they have their hands on Y/N."
"So, what's the plan?" Yeonjun asked, looking around. "How are we going to keep her safe?"
"We've set up a watch schedule," Jungwon explained. "Someone will always be on guard."
The night continued with everyone on high alert. Each member took their watch seriously, knowing the importance of their role in protecting Y/N. As the hours passed, a sense of camaraderie and determination filled the apartment.
Y/N stirred in her sleep, waking up to find Ni-Ki sitting beside her. "Ni-Ki?" she whispered, rubbing her eyes.
"I'm here," he replied softly, taking her hand.
"Is everything okay?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern.
"Everything's fine," Ni-Ki assured her. "We've got everyone working together to keep you safe."
Y/N smiled weakly, feeling comforted by his presence. "Thank you."
Ni-Ki leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Get some rest. We've got this."
As Y/N drifted back to sleep, Ni-Ki stayed by her side, his resolve stronger than ever. No matter what, he would protect her. And with their newfound allies, he felt more confident that they could face whatever came their way.
Meanwhile, outside, the werewolves were taking their positions. Jeongin, still in human form, looked at Minho. "So, what's the deal with this Yuma guy? Why is he such a threat?"
Minho's expression darkened. "Yuma enjoys causing chaos. He knows how much Y/N means to Ni-Ki. If he gets to her, it could drive Ni-Ki to the brink."
The next morning, Y/N woke up. She noticed the apartment felt a bit too quiet. She left Sunoo's bedroom and noticed the living room was a little more crowded with new faces. Soobin and his clan looked up to see Y/N first. Jungwon also noticed and went over to her, telling her not to be afraid of the new vampires as they were friends.
"Hey Y/N," Soobin greeted as he introduced himself along with Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai.
"Oh! She's really pretty," Hueningkai whispered to Yeonjun, who nudged him playfully.
"Nice to meet you all," Y/N said shyly, trying to remember all the new names and faces.
Jungwon smiled. "Don't worry, you'll get used to us soon enough. We're all here to help."
"So, Y/N," Yeonjun said, leaning forward. "How are you holding up with all this craziness?"
"It's... a lot to take in," Y/N admitted, glancing around the room. "But everyone has been really kind."

As the morning progressed, everyone settled into their roles. Sunoo and Jay were busy in the kitchen, preparing breakfast for everyone.
"Pancakes or waffles?" Sunoo called out.
"Waffles!" Yeonjun and Beomgyu chorused, making everyone laugh.
Jungwon walked over to Ni-Ki, who was still keeping a close eye on Y/N. "You should eat something too, Ni-Ki."
"I will," Ni-Ki said, though his focus remained on Y/N.
Y/N noticed his concern and smiled at him. "You don't have to watch me all the time, you know."
Ni-Ki chuckled softly. "I know. I just want to make sure you're okay."
Hueningkai approached them, curiosity in his eyes. "So, what's it like being marked by a vampire?"
Y/N hesitated, glancing at Ni-Ki. "It's... different. I can feel the bond, even if I don't fully understand it yet."
"It must be intense," Hueningkai said, his tone filled with genuine interest.
"It is," Y/N admitted. "But Ni-Ki has been very gentle and understanding."
The day continued with everyone staying vigilant, taking turns to keep watch. As the sun began to set, the tension in the air was palpable.
"So, who's taking the first night watch?" Soobin asked, looking around.
"I will," Minho said firmly.
"We'll join you," Jungwon added, motioning to Ni-Ki and Heeseung.
"Alright," Soobin agreed. "Let's make sure we're all prepared."
A week passes, and the tension around the apartment remains high. The guardianship of Y/N has become a full-time job, with vampires and werewolves taking shifts to ensure her safety.
"You might need some help if you want your hands on the human girl, Yuma," Jo said, standing beside Yuma and looking at the heavily guarded building.
"Getting help from werewolves. How low can you get?" Fuma tutted, shaking his head in disapproval.
Yuma, usually playful, now wore a more serious expression, his mind clearly working on a plan. "Why not just leave it, Yuma?" Jo suggested.
"No. I'm not giving up so easily. I'll make her mine," Yuma snapped, his eyes flashing with determination. He paused, then a smirk spread across his face. "Let's bring in the rogues."
Jo and Fuma exchanged uneasy glances but nodded. After a few hours of work, they had tamed several rogue vampires who only listened to Yuma. Their eyes glowed a fierce red, and their movements were erratic and unsettling.
"Are you sure about this?" Jo asked, his voice wavering slightly.
Yuma nodded, his smirk widening. "Absolutely. Let's give them something to worry about."
As night fell, Yuma let the rogues loose, sending them to fight the werewolves guarding the building. Chaos erupted as the rogues attacked with wild abandon, forcing the werewolves into a fierce battle to protect their territory.
Inside the apartment, Jungwon's senses were on high alert. He suddenly stiffened, his eyes narrowing. "Yuma is close. Everyone, stay on guard!" he shouted, rallying the others.
Ni-Ki stayed close to Y/N, his protective instincts in overdrive. "Stay with me," he whispered urgently.
"I'm not leaving your side," Y/N replied, gripping his hand tightly.
The fighting outside grew more intense. Sunghoon and the other werewolves fought valiantly, but the rogues were relentless. Amid the chaos, Yuma saw his chance. Moving with blinding speed, he slipped past the defenses and into the building.
Yuma's sudden appearance inside the apartment caught everyone off guard. He lunged towards Y/N, yanking her away from Ni-Ki with inhuman strength.
"No!" Ni-Ki screamed, his voice raw with panic and rage.
Yuma's grip on Y/N was unyielding as he pulled her towards the door. "You're coming with me," he hissed.
Sunghoon, realizing what was happening, charged after them. "Let her go!" he bellowed, tackling Yuma to the ground.
But Yuma was prepared. With a swift kick, he sent Sunghoon sprawling. "Nice try," Yuma sneered, dragging Y/N outside.
Ni-Ki was close behind, his eyes blazing red. "Yuma, let her go!" he roared, his voice echoing through the night.
Yuma only laughed, a cold, mocking sound. "You're too late, Ni-Ki. She's mine now."
Sunghoon scrambled to his feet and gave chase, but Yuma moved with terrifying speed, disappearing into the night with Y/N. Despite his best efforts, Sunghoon couldn't catch up.
Back at the apartment, the remaining werewolves and vampires fought off the rogue attackers, their focus split between the battle and the realization that Yuma had succeeded in taking Y/N. Ni-Ki's panic turned into a frenzied desperation. He tore through the building, searching for any sign of Yuma or Y/N.
"He's gone," Sunghoon said, returning out of breath and defeated. "I couldn't catch him."
Ni-Ki's eyes widened in horror, his breath coming in short, frantic gasps. "No... no... no!" he shouted, his voice cracking with despair. He began pacing erratically, his mind unable to process what had just happened.
Jungwon approached him cautiously, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Ni-Ki, we'll get her back. We need to stay calm and think."
"I can't calm down!" Ni-Ki yelled, shrugging off Jungwon's hand. "She's gone! Yuma took her! I couldn't protect her!"
Heeseung tried to step in, his voice soothing. "Ni-Ki, listen to us. We need a plan. Panicking won't help Y/N."
But Ni-Ki was inconsolable. "You don't understand! She's my mate! I failed her!"
The room fell silent as Ni-Ki's anguish echoed around them. Everyone knew how much Y/N meant to him, and seeing him in such a state of despair was heart-wrenching.
"We'll find her," Jungwon said firmly, trying to project confidence he didn't entirely feel. "But we need to regroup and plan our next move."
Ni-Ki's eyes blazed with a mixture of rage and desperation. "We can't waste any time. We have to find her now."
"Ni-Ki, you need to pull yourself together," Sunghoon said, stepping forward. "We're all in this together. We will find Y/N."
Once Yuma was gone, the rogue vampires disappeared as well, leaving the apartment and its defenders in a tense silence. Four days passed since Yuma took Y/N, and Ni-Ki was spiraling into madness, on the brink of going rogue himself. Minho was also losing his mind, consumed with guilt over not telling Y/N about his true nature and the other monsters lurking in the shadows.
In the dark, damp basement of an old, abandoned building, Yuma was enjoying himself. Y/N was chained up, her wrists raw from the metal cuffs. The rogue vampires, loyal to Yuma, guarded her closely, ensuring she had no chance of escape.
"Why are you doing this?" Y/N asked, her voice trembling with pain and fear.
Yuma laughed, a cruel sound that echoed through the empty room. "Because it's fun, my dear. And because it drives Ni-Ki insane knowing I have you."
"Let me go," she pleaded, tears streaming down her face. "Please, Yuma."
He leaned in close, his eyes gleaming with malice. "Oh, but I'm just getting started. You see, breaking Ni-Ki is just as entertaining as breaking you."
Back at the apartment, Soobin and his clan, along with BangChan and his wolf pack, were gathered around a table with Jungwon, strategizing their next move.
"We need to find Yuma's hideout," Jungwon said, looking at the map spread out before them. "He's not going to keep her in an obvious place."
"He's a master of hiding," Soobin added, shaking his head. "We need to think like him, anticipate his moves."
BangChan nodded. "Minho's scouting the area now, looking for any sign of her."
"What about Ni-Ki?" Yeonjun asked, concern evident in his voice. "He's been locked up in his room since she was taken."
"He's losing it," Jungwon admitted. "If he goes rogue, we'll have another problem on our hands."
Sunoo sighed. "We need to keep him calm, but how? He's so connected to Y/N, it's tearing him apart."
"He can sense her pain," Beomgyu said quietly. "It's driving him mad."
In his room, Ni-Ki paced back and forth, his eyes glowing red with fury and desperation. "I have to find her," he muttered to himself, clenching his fists. "I can't let Yuma have her."
Heeseung knocked on the door gently. "Ni-Ki, can I come in?"
"Leave me alone," Ni-Ki growled, his voice edged with danger.
L
"Ni-Ki, we're all trying to find her. You need to stay with us," Heeseung said, his voice steady.
"I can't just sit here!" Ni-Ki shouted, slamming his fist against the wall. "She's out there, suffering!"
"We know," Heeseung replied, stepping inside. "But we need your help to get her back. We can't do this without you."
Ni-Ki's shoulders slumped, his rage momentarily replaced by despair. "I can feel her, Heeseung. She's in so much pain."
"And that's why we need to work together," Heeseung said firmly. "We will find her. But you need to stay strong."
Meanwhile, Minho was out in the city, searching every possible location where Yuma could be hiding. He cursed himself for not telling Y/N about the dangers sooner. "I should have protected her," he muttered, frustration boiling inside him.
Back at the table, BangChan pointed to a spot on the map. "What about here? It's an old building, easy to hide someone in."
"It's worth a shot," Soobin agreed. "Let's send a team to check it out."
"We need to be careful," Jungwon warned. "Yuma will have it heavily guarded."
As they planned their next move, the tension in the room was palpable. Everyone knew the stakes were high, and time was running out.
Yeonjun frowned, concern evident in his voice. "What about Ni-Ki? He's been locked up in his room since she was taken."
As Beomgyu finished speaking, a crash echoed from Ni-Ki's room. All heads turned towards the sound. Jungwon and BangChan immediately ran over and opened the door. Inside, they found the window smashed and Ni-Ki nowhere to be seen.
"We have a problem," Jungwon called out urgently, rushing back to the group.
"He's gone," BangChan said, his voice filled with worry. "He's gone after Y/N on his own."
"We need to find him before he does something reckless," Soobin said, his expression serious.
Meanwhile, Minho was out in the city, searching every possible location where Yuma could be hiding. He used his strong sense of smell to catch Y/N's scent, his mind racing with guilt and frustration.
"I should have protected her," Minho muttered to himself, his frustration boiling inside him.
Suddenly, he felt a rush of air as Ni-Ki zoomed past him. "Ni-Ki?" Minho called out, recognizing the vampire's speed. Without hesitation, Minho transformed into his wolf form and chased after him.
In the basement, Yuma leaned back, watching Y/N with a satisfied smile. "Enjoying your stay?" he taunted, his voice dripping with malice.
Y/N glared at him, her defiance shining through her fear. "Ni-Ki will find me," she said, her voice strong despite her situation. "And when he does, you'll regret this."
Yuma's smile widened, his eyes gleaming with cruel delight. "I'm counting on it," he said softly. "The fun is just beginning."
He stepped closer, stopping inches from her, and dug his sharp nails into her skin. Y/N screamed in pain, but Yuma quickly covered her mouth with his lips, silencing her cries.
Back at the apartment, the group was frantically preparing to search for Ni-Ki and Y/N. "We need to split up and cover more ground," Heeseung suggested.
"Agreed," Jungwon said, nodding. "We'll take different sectors of the city. Stay in contact and report any signs immediately."
As the teams dispersed, Jungwon, Soobin, and BangChan led their respective groups into the night. The tension was palpable, and every second felt like an eternity.
Minho, now in his wolf form, caught up to Ni-Ki, who was moving with relentless determination. "Ni-Ki, wait!" Minho called out telepathically.
Ni-Ki didn't slow down. "I can't stop, Minho. I have to find her."
"We will find her," Minho insisted, running alongside him. "But you can't do this alone. Let us help."
Ni-Ki finally came to a halt, his eyes glowing with desperation. "I can feel her pain, Minho. Every second she's with Yuma is torture."
"And that's why we need to be smart about this," Minho said, shifting back to his human form. "We'll get her back, together."
Ni-Ki nodded, his resolve unwavering. "Alright. What's the plan?"
Back in the basement, Yuma watched Y/N with sadistic glee. "You're a fighter, aren't you?" he sneered.
Y/N spat at him, her eyes blazing with anger. "Ni-Ki will come for me. And when he does, you'll pay."
Yuma laughed, a chilling sound. "Let him come. I'm looking forward to the reunion."
As the night wore on, the search teams scoured the city. Jungwon's group moved methodically, checking every possible hideout. "Any sign of them?" Jungwon asked over the radio.
"Nothing yet," Soobin replied. "But we're not giving up."
"Keep looking," Jungwon urged. "We have to find them."
Despite their best efforts, the night ended without any sign of Yuma or Y/N. The teams returned to the apartment, exhausted but determined to continue their search.
"We'll start again at dawn," Jungwon said, his voice filled with steely resolve. "We won't rest until we find her."
Ni-Ki nodded, his eyes dark with determination. "I'll save you, Y/N. I promise."
Yuma's twisted enjoyment of biting Y/N was evident. Every time he sank his teeth into her, he imagined the look of pure rage on Ni-Ki's face. He hoped it would be enough to make Ni-Ki snap.
Meanwhile, Ni-Ki and Minho were close enough to catch Y/N's scent. They tracked it to an old, decrepit building with a basement.
"She's in there," Ni-Ki growled, his eyes already starting to blaze with fury.
Minho nodded, his own senses on high alert. "We need to be careful. Yuma's probably expecting us."
In the basement, Yuma suddenly sensed Ni-Ki's approach. His eyes lit up with childlike glee. "Get ready, my children. It's going to be a blast," he chirped and cooed to his rogue vampires.
The rogues growled in response, their chains clinking ominously. Yuma turned back to Y/N, his smile wide and sinister. "He's almost here. Aren't you excited?" he taunted, biting her neck again. Y/N winced, tears streaming down her face.
"Ni-Ki will come for me," she said, her voice weak but determined.
"And I can't wait," Yuma replied, licking the blood from his lips.
Ni-Ki and Minho burst into the basement, the scent of blood hitting them like a wave. "Y/N!" Ni-Ki roared, his eyes turning bloodshot at the sight of her battered and chained.
"Ni-Ki!" Y/N cried out, her voice filled with pain and hope.
Jungwon and the others weren't far behind, weapons drawn and ready. "Stay sharp," Jungwon commanded. "We need to get to Y/N."
The rogue vampires strained against their chains, snarling and snapping at the intruders. "Release them," Yuma ordered K and the others, a twisted smile on his face.
As the chains were undone, the rogues lunged forward, attacking with ferocious intensity. A massive war broke out, the basement echoing with the sounds of battle.
"Focus on the rogues!" Minho shouted, transforming into his wolf form and leaping into the fray. "We need to clear a path to Y/N!"
Ni-Ki's eyes were locked on Yuma, pure rage fueling his every move. "Yuma, you'll pay for this!" he snarled, charging towards him.
Yuma laughed, a high-pitched, maniacal sound. "Oh, Ni-Ki, you're too predictable!" He grabbed Y/N and bit her neck again, eliciting a scream of pain. Then, to add insult to injury, he kissed her roughly, making Ni-Ki's blood boil.
BangChan and his pack fought fiercely, cutting down rogue after rogue. "We're taking them down!" BangChan shouted, his claws dripping with blood. "Keep pushing!"
Ni-Ki, however, had completely snapped. His movements were wild and careless, his only focus on reaching Yuma. "Get away from her!" he screamed, his eyes blazing red with fury.
Yuma smirked, easily dodging Ni-Ki's reckless attacks. "You're losing control, Ni-Ki. She'll die because of you."
Jungwon fought his way through the chaos, his eyes never leaving Ni-Ki. "Stay focused!" he yelled. "We need to save her!"
But Ni-Ki was beyond reason. His desperation to reach Y/N made him vulnerable, and Yuma took full advantage, landing blow after blow.
Y/N, weakened by blood loss and torture, could barely keep her eyes open. "Ni-Ki," she whispered, her voice faint. "Please..."
"I'm coming, Y/N!" Ni-Ki roared, his voice cracking with emotion.
Minho fought his way to Ni-Ki's side, knocking away a rogue vampire. "Ni-Ki, we need to be smart about this!" he shouted. "You can't let him control you!"
BangChan and his pack had just killed half of the rogues, but the battle was far from over. "Push forward!" BangChan commanded. "We're not done yet!"
Ni-Ki's fury made him a formidable opponent, but his recklessness put him in constant danger. Yuma, sensing an opportunity, struck again and again, taunting him mercilessly.
"Look at you, Ni-Ki," Yuma sneered. "You're a mess. All for this human."
"I'll kill you!" Ni-Ki shouted, lunging at Yuma with renewed fury.
But Yuma was too fast, too cunning. He easily evaded Ni-Ki's attacks, his laughter echoing through the basement. "You're pathetic," he taunted. "And she'll die because of your weakness."
The fight raged on, each side giving everything they had. Jungwon, Minho, and the others fought with all their strength, but the sheer number of rogue vampires made it a relentless battle.
"We can't keep this up forever!" Yeonjun shouted, slashing at a rogue.
"We don't have a choice!" Jungwon yelled back. "We have to save Y/N!"
As the battle continued, the outcome remained uncertain. Ni-Ki, driven by a combination of rage and desperation, fought with everything he had, but his recklessness left him vulnerable. Yuma, reveling in the chaos, seemed to be one step ahead at every turn.
"Come on, Ni-Ki! Is this all you've got?" Yuma taunted, dancing out of Ni-Ki's reach with a manic grin. "You're just making this too easy!"
Y/N's fate hung in the balance as the fight dragged on. The combined forces of vampires and werewolves were relentless, but so were the rogue vampires. The basement was a battleground, and there was no end in sight.
"Hold the line!" BangChan commanded, slashing through another rogue vampire. "We can't let them overwhelm us!"
"Stay focused!" Jungwon shouted, his eyes scanning the chaos for any sign of Y/N. "We have to get to her!"
As time went on, most of the rogue vampires were defeated, leaving only Yuma and his immediate followers. Ni-Ki had now fully lost control; he couldn't even speak, only snarling and slashing at Yuma. His wild attacks caused the chains binding Y/N to break, and she collapsed, completely unconscious. Her breath was slow and faint.
"Ni-Ki, stop!" Minho shouted, but his words fell on deaf ears. Seizing the opportunity while Yuma and the others were distracted, Minho dashed over to Y/N. He cradled her in his arms, his face etched with worry. "Y/N, wake up! Please!"
Y/N remained unresponsive, her body limp and cold. "She's not going to make it," Minho growled, tears falling down his face. His breath became heavy as he transformed into his wolf form, his eyes burning with rage. "I'll make them pay."
Meanwhile, Yuma was too distracted, giddy with joy at seeing Ni-Ki lose control. "Look at you, Ni-Ki! Completely gone! Just as I planned!"
Minho, seeing his chance, sped towards Yuma, his claws ready. Yuma, consumed by his own satisfaction, didn't sense Minho's approach. With one swift motion, Minho swiped at Yuma's neck. Yuma paused, his eyes widening in shock.
"Minho, no!" Yuma gasped, blood starting to pour from his neck.
Everyone paused, the sudden turn of events shocking them into stillness. Ni-Ki, however, didn't hesitate. He lunged at Yuma, sinking his fangs into Yuma's neck and draining him dry before ripping his head off his shoulders with a savage growl.
"Ni-Ki, stop!" Jungwon shouted, trying to reach his friend. "You're losing yourself!"
But Ni-Ki was beyond reason. He had completely lost it, his eyes a feral red. He turned towards Y/N, his mind no longer recognizing her as his mate but as prey.
"Ni-Ki, don't!" Minho shouted, rushing to place himself between Ni-Ki and Y/N. "Snap out of it!"
"She's not your enemy!" Minho pleaded, his heart pounding. "It's Y/N! Remember her!"
The others, seeing the danger, moved to surround Ni-Ki. "We can't let him hurt her," BangChan said, his voice grim.
Jungwon stepped forward, his eyes filled with determination. "Ni-Ki, look at me! You need to remember who you are!"
But Ni-Ki's eyes were wild and unseeing. He lunged at Minho, who barely managed to dodge. "I won't let you hurt her!" Minho shouted, standing his ground.
As the battle continued, it became clear that Ni-Ki's rage had completely taken over. Yuma's twisted game had succeeded in driving him to the brink of madness. The basement echoed with the sounds of snarls and clashes, each moment a desperate struggle to save Y/N.
"We need to subdue him," Heeseung said urgently. "Before he does something irreversible."
"But how?" Sunoo asked, his eyes wide with fear. "He's out of control!"
"We'll find a way," Jungwon said firmly. "We have to."
Each werewolf and vampire, even Soobin's clan, desperately tried to remind Ni-Ki who Y/N was to him.
"Ni-Ki, snap out of it!" Soobin shouted, struggling to hold Ni-Ki back.
"Remember Y/N, Ni-Ki!" Yeonjun added, his voice filled with urgency. "She's your mate!"
Felix and Jeongin, in their wolf forms, hovered protectively over Y/N, growling at anyone who dared come near. They knew she was vulnerable and needed their protection now more than ever.
"Stay back!" Felix growled, his eyes never leaving Ni-Ki.
"We won't let anyone harm her," Jeongin agreed, his stance firm and defensive.
Sunghoon, standing a bit away, suddenly remembered something. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small tube of Y/N's blood. She had given it to him, telling him to keep it just in case. Though she hadn't explained what that case would be, he had kept it as a promise.
"Maybe this will work," Sunghoon muttered to himself, determination settling in his eyes.
Soobin, Yeonjun, Jungwon, and Heeseung were doing their best to pin Ni-Ki back. Ni-Ki's eyes were wild, glaring at Y/N like she was nothing more than prey.
"Hold him steady!" Jungwon yelled, his muscles straining.
"We're trying!" Heeseung grunted, struggling against Ni-Ki's immense strength.
Sunghoon approached cautiously, the tube of Y/N's blood in his hand. "Ni-Ki, you have to calm down," he said softly, trying to reach the vampire beneath the rage.
Ni-Ki snarled, but Sunghoon didn't flinch. He quickly opened the tube and forced the blood into Ni-Ki's mouth. "Drink, Ni-Ki. Remember her."
Ni-Ki's eyes widened as the sweet taste of Y/N's blood hit his tongue. It was unlike any other blood, the sweetness a unique signature only he could taste. His struggles began to slow, his wild eyes starting to focus.
"That's it, Ni-Ki," Soobin encouraged, seeing the change. "Remember Y/N. Remember who she is to you."
Ni-Ki blinked, the red fading from his eyes. "Y/N..." he whispered, his voice cracking.
"Yes, Ni-Ki," Yeonjun said, relief flooding his voice. "It's her. She needs you."
With the taste of Y/N's blood grounding him, Ni-Ki's rage slowly ebbed away. He slumped against Soobin and Jungwon, his strength giving out.
"Y/N," Ni-Ki repeated, tears welling in his eyes. "I'm so sorry..."
"It's okay," Jungwon said gently, helping him stand. "You're back. We'll get her to safety."
Felix and Jeongin relaxed slightly, though they remained close to Y/N. "We need to get her out of here," Felix said, his voice still tense.
"Agreed," Jeongin added. "She needs medical attention."
The group quickly rallied, their immediate focus on getting Y/N to safety and ensuring Ni-Ki stayed calm. Soobin pulled Ni-Ki into his arms as Ni-Ki sobbed against Soobin's shoulder.
"She's going to be okay," Soobin murmured, trying to comfort the distraught vampire.
Felix, now in his human form, held Y/N in his arms. Her body was limp, and her breathing was nonexistent. "Guys, she's not breathing," Jeongin announced, his voice filled with panic.
Minho barged past the others, his face set in determination. "Move!" he shouted, kneeling beside Y/N. He quickly checked her pulse, then tilted her head back to open her airway. "Come on, Y/N. Stay with us," he muttered, beginning CPR.
The others watched in tense silence, their hope hanging on Minho's efforts. "Come on, Y/N," Minho urged, performing chest compressions. "Don't give up."
"Is it working?" Sunoo asked anxiously, his eyes wide with fear.
"I don't know," Minho replied, his voice strained. "But I'm not stopping."
As Minho continued, Fuma, K, and the others who had been with Yuma crowded around the spot where his body had turned to dust. "Idiot," Jo muttered, kicking at the remains. "This is what happens when you underestimate them."
"We need to get out of here," K said, his voice filled with urgency. "Before they come after us."
"Agreed," Fuma nodded. "Let's go."
Back with the group, Minho refused to give up. "Breathe, Y/N," he commanded, pressing down on her chest. "You can do this."
"Come on, Y/N," Ni-Ki whispered, still held by Soobin but watching Minho's every move. "Please come back."
"She's not responding," Felix said, his voice trembling. "We need to do something else."
"Wait," Jungwon said suddenly, his eyes lighting up with an idea. "Ni-Ki, give her some of your blood. It might help."
Ni-Ki nodded, scrambling over to Y/N's side. He bit into his wrist, wincing as the blood flowed. "Here, Y/N," he said, pressing his wrist to her lips. "Drink. Please."
Minho paused his efforts, watching as Ni-Ki's blood trickled into Y/N's mouth. "Come on, Y/N," Ni-Ki urged softly. "Please. For me."
There was a tense silence as everyone held their breath, waiting for a sign. Suddenly, Y/N coughed, a weak but unmistakable sound. Her chest rose slightly as she drew in a shallow breath.
"She's breathing!" Minho exclaimed, relief flooding his voice.
"Thank God," Soobin breathed, his hold on Ni-Ki loosening slightly.
"Y/N, can you hear me?" Ni-Ki asked, his voice breaking with emotion.
Y/N's eyes fluttered open, her gaze unfocused but alive. "Ni-Ki?" she whispered weakly.
"I'm here," Ni-Ki said, tears streaming down his face. "I'm here, and I'm not leaving you."
"We need to get her out of here," Jungwon said, taking charge. "She needs proper care."
"Let's move," BangChan ordered, his tone decisive. "Everyone, stay alert. We're not out of danger yet."
Felix carefully lifted Y/N again, cradling her against his chest. "We've got you, Y/N. Just hang on."
As they made their way out of the basement, the group stayed close, their senses on high alert. The remnants of Yuma's clan watched from the shadows but made no move to interfere.
"Keep moving," Heeseung urged, scanning their surroundings. "We can't let our guard down."
Minho stayed close to Felix and Y/N, his eyes constantly flicking around for any signs of danger. "Stay with us, Y/N," he said softly. "We're almost out."
"Ni-Ki," Y/N murmured, her voice barely audible. "Thank you."
"You don't have to thank me," Ni-Ki replied, his voice filled with emotion. "I love you, Y/N. I'll always protect you."
They finally emerged into the open air, the night cool and refreshing against their skin. "We need to get her to safety," Jungwon said, looking around. "Let's head back to the apartment and regroup."
As they hurried back, the tension slowly began to ease. Y/N was alive, and Ni-Ki was back to his senses. The fight had been brutal, but they had survived.
"Thank you, everyone," Ni-Ki said, his voice choked with gratitude. "I couldn't have done this without you."
"We're a team," BangChan replied, clapping him on the back. "And we'll always have each other's backs."
Chanbin and Felix worked diligently, focusing on bathing and bandaging Y/N. Her body was covered in bruises, scars, and bites from Yuma. She had lost consciousness again but was still breathing, her chest rising and falling steadily.
"We need to clean these wounds thoroughly," Chanbin said, his voice steady but filled with concern. "She's been through hell."
Felix nodded, gently washing the dirt and blood from her skin. "I can't believe she survived this. She's stronger than she looks."
In the other room, BangChan was speaking with Ni-Ki, who still looked shaken. "You know giving her your blood changed everything, right?" BangChan asked, his tone serious.
Ni-Ki looked up, confusion written across his face. "What do you mean? I just wanted to save her."
Seungmin stepped in, his expression grave. "You may have revived her, but she won't be human anymore, Ni-Ki. She had very little blood left in her when you gave her yours."
Ni-Ki's eyes widened in shock. "I don't understand. What are you saying?"
"She's going to be a vampire now," Seungmin explained. "Your blood has started the transformation. It was the only way to save her, but it comes with consequences."
Ni-Ki sat down heavily, his mind reeling. "I... I didn't know. I just wanted her to live."
Jungwon placed a reassuring hand on Ni-Ki's shoulder. "You did what you had to. She's alive, and that's what matters."
"So, what happens now?" Ni-Ki asked, still trying to process everything.
"Now, we wait," BangChan replied. "She's on her bed in Sunoo's room. We're not sure when she will wake up, but it will take at least a week for her to recover fully."
Back in Sunoo's room, Felix and Chanbin had finished tending to Y/N. She looked peaceful, despite the ordeal she had been through. "We've done all we can," Felix said softly. "Now, it's up to her."
"She's a fighter," Chanbin replied, covering her with a blanket. "She'll make it through this."
Sunoo entered the room, his eyes filled with worry. "How is she?"
"She's stable," Felix answered. "But it's going to be a long recovery."
Ni-Ki walked in, his expression a mixture of guilt and hope. "Can I stay with her?" he asked quietly.
"Of course," Sunoo replied, giving him a reassuring smile. "She needs you now more than ever."
Ni-Ki sat beside Y/N's bed, taking her hand in his. "I'm so sorry, Y/N," he whispered. "I never wanted this for you. But I promise I'll be here, no matter what."
Meanwhile, the rest of the group gathered in the living room, discussing their next steps. "We need to stay vigilant," BangChan said, his tone firm. "Yuma's gone, but his followers might still pose a threat."
"Agreed," Jungwon replied. "We can't let our guard down."
"We also need to prepare for Y/N's transition," Soobin added. "She'll need guidance and support."
"We'll be here for her," Heeseung said confidently. "She's one of us now."
Back in Sunoo's room, Ni-Ki couldn't take his eyes off Y/N. He gently stroked her hand, willing her to wake up. "You're going to be okay," he whispered. "I'll help you through this. We all will."
Time passed slowly as the group took turns watching over Y/N. Each day, Ni-Ki stayed by her side, talking to her, hoping she could hear him. "Remember the first time we met?" he said softly, a small smile playing on his lips. "I knew there was something special about you."
Sunoo entered with a tray of food for Ni-Ki. "You need to eat," he said gently. "You've been here for hours."
"I'm not leaving her," Ni-Ki replied stubbornly, though he took the offered food.
"I know," Sunoo said, sitting beside him. "But you need to take care of yourself too. For her sake."
Ni-Ki nodded, taking a bite. "Thank you, Sunoo. For everything."
"We're all in this together," Sunoo replied, placing a hand on Ni-Ki's shoulder. "She'll wake up. You just have to believe."
A week passed, and Y/N remained unconscious, though her condition was stable. The group never left her alone, always ensuring someone was by her side. One morning, as the first rays of sunlight filtered through the curtains, Y/N's fingers twitched.
"Ni-Ki!" Felix called out, his voice filled with excitement. "She moved!"
Ni-Ki rushed to her side, his heart pounding. "Y/N? Can you hear me?"
Y/N's eyes fluttered open, now red and sensitive to the daylight that shone through the window. She winced slightly at the sudden brightness.
"Quick, close the curtains more," Ni-Ki called out urgently.
Sunoo hurried to the window and adjusted the curtains, blocking out the harsh light. "Is that better?" he asked gently.
Y/N blinked, her gaze still unfocused but aware. "Ni-Ki?" she whispered, her voice weak.
"I'm here," Ni-Ki said, tears of relief streaming down his face.
Without hesitation, he leaned down and kissed her on the lips, feeling the warmth and life in her once again.
The others gathered around, their faces lighting up with smiles. "Welcome back, Y/N," Sunoo said warmly. "We were all so worried."
"You gave us quite a scare," Felix added with a grin, his relief palpable.
Y/N looked around at the familiar faces of her friends, her family. "What happened?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"It's a long story," Ni-Ki replied, gently squeezing her hand. "But the important thing is that you're safe now. We're here for you, every step of the way."
Jungwon came in with a pint of blood specially prepared for Y/N. "You'll need this," he said, handing her the glass. "It'll help you regain your strength."
Y/N took the glass hesitantly, sipping it slowly. "Thank you," she said, her voice growing steadier.
"We're just glad you're okay," Heeseung said, sitting down beside her. "We fought hard to get you back."
"Yuma's gone," Soobin added. "He won't be bothering you anymore."
Y/N nodded, trying to absorb everything. "It feels like a dream," she admitted. "Or a nightmare."
"But you're here now," Ni-Ki said, his voice filled with conviction. "And we won't let anything happen to you again."
A few hours later, there was a soft knock on the door. Minho stepped in, his face etched with guilt. "Can I come in?"
"Of course," Sunoo said, making room for him.
Minho approached Y/N's bed, his expression heavy with remorse. "Y/N, I'm so sorry. I should have told you everything from the start."
"It's okay, Minho," Y/N replied, her voice soft but firm. "You did what you thought was best."
"I just wish I could have protected you better," Minho said, sitting down next to her. "I should have told you about being a werewolf and the dangers that come with it."
BangChan entered the room, leaning against the doorframe. "We never thought we'd get along with a group of vampires," he said with a small smile. "But here we are."
"It's strange how things work out," Minho agreed, looking around at the group. "Despite everything, we made it through."
"Turns out Jeongin and Beomgyu have a lot in common," BangChan added. "They've become fast friends. Same goes for Yeonjun and ChanBin"
"Heeseung and I were just talking about that," Jungwon said with a nod. "It's good to see some positives come out of this mess."
"Any news on Yuma's followers?" Felix asked, his tone cautious.
"Most of them scurried off back to Japan," BangChan reported. "We shouldn't have to worry about them for a while."
"Good riddance," Sunoo muttered, crossing his arms.
Y/N looked around at the faces of her friends, feeling a deep sense of gratitude. "Thank you all. I don't know what I would have done without you."
"We're family," Ni-Ki said simply. "And family sticks together."
As the days passed, Y/N began to adjust to her new reality. Her friends helped her understand her new abilities and the changes in her body. They trained her, supported her, and ensured she felt safe and loved.
One evening, as they all sat together in the living room, Y/N turned to Ni-Ki. "I never imagined my life would take such a turn," she said, a hint of a smile playing on her lips.
"Neither did I," Ni-Ki replied, taking her hand in his. "But I'm glad you're here with us."
"We've all been through so much," Jungwon said, raising his glass. "But we've come out stronger on the other side."
"To us," BangChan said, lifting his own glass. "And to the future."
They all clinked their glasses together, a sense of unity and strength binding them. Y/N looked around, feeling a deep sense of belonging. Despite the hardships and the battles, she knew she was where she was meant to be.
As the night wore on, they shared stories, laughter, and plans for the future. The bond they had formed was unbreakable, forged in the fires of their trials and strengthened by their unwavering support for one another.
Y/N leaned against Ni-Ki, feeling his warmth and the comfort of his presence. "I'm ready for whatever comes next," she said, her voice filled with determination.
"And we'll face it together," Ni-Ki replied, his eyes meeting hers. "Always."
With that, they settled into the new chapter of their lives, knowing that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together. The fight was over, but their journey was just beginning, and they were ready to face it hand in hand.
