Wait wait wait you are a spatort girlie (gn)?? You are literally one of my all time favorite Teen Wolf/Thiam fic writers, have been for YEARS and only now do I learn that you are German (I assume) AND into Spatort? Like?? Tumblr is truly wild sometimes 😭👀

Ha yes, my unhinged spate of reblogging gifsets has outed me: I am in fact a spatort girlie (gn), and it’s entirely tumblr’s fault. I didn’t even know what tatort was until exactly this time last year, when the site collectively last its mind over die kalte der erde. And they were right to do it! Schlaf gut, tiger//miau??? die mittelpunkt der welt//deiner welt vielleicht??? I had to investigate and figure out what was going on. So I did, and I am now equally invested in whatever is going on in Tatort Saarbrucken.

However! I am not German, and at the time I managed to dig up links to ARD Mediathek and watch all the episodes, I also didn’t speak a lick of the language. 😅 Which, let me tell you: watching that show with no verbal context makes everything that’s happening with Leo and Adam (and Pia and Esther, though that’s more adorable than whatever the hell is going on with their certifiably insane partners) even more unhinged. I am however now a little over halfway through a German language learning program (Rosetta Stone, represent!), so I had slightly more of an idea what was going on this year than last. And maybe next year I’ll be up to a whopping almost knowing what’s going on! 😆

Anyway, all this is to say: full spatort girlie (gn), here, yes. One of these days I really actually want to write something for spatort, though it’d definitely have to be in English: I wouldn’t put any of us through me trying to hack out something in German, I cheerfully admit I can’t keep any of the articles straight. 😆

—i told myself i won’t work on anything until my chris doesn’t come back au is finished!

here’s a lil snippet 🫶🏼 (i’ve shared a decent amount of this wip but don’t think i’ve shared this little bit!)

Maddie was suddenly there, bending to Buck’s level, taking her baby brother in her arms. He was 3 times her size, and yet, he looked like a child in her arms, like the little brother she always spoke so proudly of. She looked up to Eddie, her eyes the same glassy hue as his and Buck’s. Maddie shook her head, none of them wanting to believe it true.

Christopher was gone, missing.

6. Which yet-to-be-started fic is first on your list?

—ohh you know i don’t actually have many ideas going rn amazingly 😂 i have a few for thiam i wanna work on, and i was thinking about my cinderella au earlier (for buddie) but nothing concrete atm!

8. Is there a story idea in your mental vault that you’ve never been brave enough to try writing? Is this the year? Can you tell us about it?

—hmm the only one that comes to mind is my rookie crossover au. i love what i have for it but haven’t been able to move past that 🙁 maybe this year i’ll find the inspiration to work on it again!

13. Aside from fanfic, are there any other fan works you’d like to try creating? Fanart, or fanvids, gifsets, or podfic? 

—i can’t draw and do not have the patience to learn gifing (shoutout to all the amazing gif makers!) 😂 but i definitely wanna make more edits!

Rules

1. No pairings that have had fic-exclusive events in the past two years are allowed for this event for the purpose of elevating pairings/characters less explored. This excludes Sterek, Steter, Thiam, and Steo, for example, but not Scerek, Stalia , Allydia, or individual characters.

2. Any other pairing or genfic is allowed and encouraged.

3. Explicit material is allowed as long as all parties are over the age of 18.

4. While darker themes are allowed, please refrain from creating noncon for this event.

5. RPF is not allowed for this challenge.

6. No character hate of any kind: no bad friend Scott, shady Deaton etc. Strictly enforced.

7. Word count minimum is 10K. There is no maximum.

8. Art may be: drawings, moodboards, gifsets. Artists will be required to make one piece for their fic but there is no maximum.

9. I will try my best to make sure every fic gets an artist, but it is not guaranteed.

10. Creators can sign up to write, create art, beta read, or any combination of the three. Doubling up is appreciated but not required.

11. There will be several check-ins and deadlines to allow for people to drop the challenge without consequences. See the timeline for details.

12. Authors will need a03 to post their fics. Let me know if you need an invite!

13. Artists may use any platform as long the art is linkable and viewable by the public.

14. You will need a way to stay in communication with me and any artists, beta readers or authors you are working with. Discord dms or email you check frequently are preferable. If you have another way, chat with me, I'm flexible.

just decided that this love (taylor’s version) is a thiam song. it doesn’t matter if it’s not explicitly stated that they had a tragic falling out and falling apart in their early twenties, only to reconnect years later.
