Anyway, while I was gone I was thinking of this stupid idea with Bakugou (as usual)
Tumblr media
Imagine your eighteenth birthday is when you find out who you’re bonded to, and this bond is created via telepathy. A connection opens between two souls, and you’re able to communicate with each other no matter where in the world you are. A connection that only becomes stronger as your relationship with your soulmate grows.
But of course, connections can be broken. The same way those dreamlike fantasies of meeting your perfect soulmate don’t always work— especially when your soulmate is Bakugou Katsuki.
The first time you try to communicate with him, he brushes you off. Telling you to “piss off”, that he doesn’t “need a fuckin’ soulmate”. It’s a time in his life that arguably he needs that connection with someone more than ever. But the feelings of inadequacy and inferiority he holds inside are at an all time high as he pushes everyone away, including you. Shutting the door on any hope you had of ever having a connection with him, of finding your soulmate.
You try again a few times after, watching all your friends develop their love and even meet their soulmates. Hating the green-eyed monster that appears when you realise how bitter you actually are— to be paired with someone that has no interest in you. Cursed to be one of the ones without a soulmate, to try and find a love with another broken person like you.
The conversations are always the same— his irritation for your very existence no match for the conversations you try to start. Making it abundantly clear to you that you’re a distraction, that he doesn’t have time for a soulmate. And yet amongst his complaining that you’ve opened the link at a bad moment, or that he doesn’t need you— he always answers.
So over time you find yourself starting to give up, wondering why you’ve wasted so much time on a man that clearly doesn’t want you. The connection going quiet as neither of you try to open the link.
Radio silence.
And what makes it worse, is your friends who have perfect connections pity you. One of the lost souls without a soulmate— which is why you’re prepared to join a special program. A program that can realign your connection— to tie your soul to another.
It’s unorthodox, an extreme measure that has an endless list of side-effects. You could end up with the more undesirable members of society, who’s connections have been severed before, or the ones that abuse the system for their own benefit— and if the second connection doesn’t work out you’re unable to claim a third. But craving that special bond with someone, picturing the perfect smiles and pickett fences it’s more than worth the risks. So you plan to do it— to sever your connection with your soulmate, and find a new one.
Someone who will actually love you.
But it isn’t until one night that you hear something at the back of your mind, barely a murmur as you shoot up in bed. Squinting as you try desperately to focus on the sound— another whimper. But you can’t seem to make out much else, as you realise that it’s the same connection that you thought was completely shattered all those years ago.
“Hello?” You feel almost stupid calling out, wondering if he even realised that you could hear him again— that you were there.
“Long time no talk, hah sweetheart?” He scoffs, a choked cough spills from his lips after as he winces in pain.
“You sound like shit— is that why you reconnected our bond at four am?”
“Must’ve called the wrong number, sweetheart.” He sneers, but you can almost hear the humour in his tone.
“Well luckily for you I’m going to break our bond.” You bite back as you’re met with silence on the other end, “So you won’t have to make the same mistake again.”
“You can do that?” He whispers.
“Yeah, they can reconnect me with someone else.” You murmur.
“They won’t be as good as me.” He manages to get out before another cough wracks through his body.
“I wouldn’t know, would I?” You scrunch your nose in irritation, “But at least they’ll want me.”
“Who said I don’t want you?”
It’s not until a month later that you find out the real reason he reconnected the bond that night. That it was the night that his heart stopped beating as he almost lost his life, his body shutting down as the only thing he could think to do was to call out for you.

Will Apple's headset enhance productivity?
I’ve written several times about mixed reality experiences over the last 6 or 7 years here on my blog. I recently went back and looked at some of those posts and so I thought I’d sum up my thinking as it stands today, as well as detail what I hope to see from Apple’s headset.
For quick context, VR means that you can only see the virtual world, AR means that you can see some amount of the real world in addition to virtual elements, and MR refers to the broader landscape of experiences that blend any amount of those two.
My main interest has been in seeing a well executed AR experience primarily because I haven’t seen a great VR one yet. Some VR experiences are fun but none of them are very productive.
What do I mean by productive?
Using a Mac on a large screen with a good keyboard and mouse is arguably the most productive set of tools ever devised for the human mind. Information and creation I/O out the wazoo. For the last several decades no one, including Apple, has made a more productive platform. While the iPhone and iPad are very useful platforms that I use every single day, they simply are no where near as productive (yet?) as the desktop computer paradigm. So far my use of any MR experience has felt super unproductive. Doing something as simple as browsing the web in a VR experience has been a slow and clunky experience.
In my personal life experience, here are my most productive platforms in order of how much I can get done while using them:
A Mac laptop plugged into a large screen with a good keyboard and mouse
iPad with a keyboard
iPhone (especially with voice recording, camera’s ability to scan documents, etc.)
A good notebook and pen
Of course, this list needs a big “it depends on what I’m doing” asterisk. There are some tasks, like scanning in handwritten notes, that the iPhone has jumped way way ahead on over the last few years. Or other tasks, like sketching out ideas for my garden, that pen and paper are simply far better suited for. But overall, for the work that I do the Mac reigns supreme.
For my use, I’d love an augmented experience that enhances my productivity not one that encumbers it. I have no interest in using a platform that makes me less productive simply because it looks cool.
OK, so that is where my thoughts are today on MR.
On the cusp of Apple’s headset, which seems very likely to be previewed at this year’s WWDC, I’m looking forward to where they’ve settled on this. Will it be a platform built for fully immersed fun experiences like Ready Player One? Or, will it be a productive augmented version of what we have now like Minority Report?
It is my hope that within 3 or 4 versions of Apple’s headset - say, by 2026 or so - that using an Apple headset for productive work will be as good or better than using an iPad with a keyboard. If they've somehow figured out how to be more productive than using a Mac then they've shot the stars.
If those are my hopes what are my worries?
Apple hasn’t shown itself to be good at creating a virtual assistant and I think the headset would likely require one. Siri is the worst virtual assistant currently on the market. Last night, I asked Siri “How many inches is 500 millimeters of rain?” and it replied with a link to the web to figure it out on my own. I rephrased my question “How many inches is 500 millimeters?” and it replied accurately. I confused it because I said the word rain? Using Siri today while at the same time using ChatGPT or Bard or the like really shows the gap Apple has to make up.
But perhaps they’ve been working as hard on Siri as they have on the headset and they’ve waited to debut the two together? An all new Siri 2.0 that is available on all devices including Apple’s new headset? Given Siri’s reputation in the market I imagine they will have to touch on how they’ve improved it dramatically for this new device.
Another worry I have is how uncomfortable and draining using most headsets are. Use any MR device on the market for a few hours and you’ll see what I mean. The devices themselves feel like a lunchbox on your face and your eyes, ears, neck, etc. are all knackered when you’re done.
One last note regarding price: I think the first version being $3,000 is totally plausible. Perhaps Apple will have a $3,000 build just for developers that they can then return for Apple credit like they did with the Apple silicon transition. If the device is great and makes me as productive as using an iPad or better than $3,000 sounds good to me. I'm sure the price could come down slightly over time.
I'm very hyped that Apple is entering this market. I genuinely hope they have something special to offer. If the headset isn't meant for me but is more geared towards people that play games or will watch movies on the device that is fine too. But I'll be looking for something that enhances my productivity.

Sunny Reading Tag
I was tagged by @rollingthunderpouringrain - Bless, you’re so great, I love these
And I’m gonna make this way too long, sorry. Also, I only started recording which books I read in 2015 so I had a kind of limited list I picked from and I’ve only been reading manga lately so I’m super biased 💀
favourite book
Ready Player One, because a VR world seemed so freaking cool to me and also the plot was pretty great. I ended up watching a lot of 80′s movies and playing a lot of 80′s games after I read it and I also.... bought a VR headset 😬
tropes that make you go “asfgrthgj”
Absolute fave is Childhood Friend Romance (though I also have a soft spot for Friends to Lovers and Enemies to Lovers)
Fake/Pretend Relationship
Ambiguous Gender and gender non-conforming characters (which is actually really common in manga, see: Ouran High School Host Club, My Androgynous Boyfriend, Aoharu x Machinegun, Ultra-Fem Shishihara-Kun, Princess Jellyfish, Komi Can’t Communicate, Wotakoi.... I seek this stuff out)
The Caretaker
Slice of Life (plot is good but I love slice of life ❤️)
comfort book
I never reread any books so it’s really hard to make a decision but if I had to choose, probably one of the following:
Any witcher stories with lots of my comfort character Jaskier (Storm of Swords, probably, or maybe “A Little Sacrifice”?) or the hansa (Baptism of Fire)
Before the Coffee Gets Cold series by Toshikazu Kawaguchi
Night Falls Fast: Understanding Suicide by Kay Redfield Jameson which is a nonfiction and is comforting for some reason when I'm in a bad place? Hard to explain but it was kind of soothing to read.
Out of my manga, I really like this one called We’re On Our Own From Here. The two boys in the book start dating right away in the first chapter (friends-to-lovers ❤️) so the entire thing is basically fluffy first love and dates and such. Like, next to no angst. And the art isn’t great but I think it’s still a really cute style actually.
death in a book you would take back
Ned Stark 😭😭😭 I understand the point of his death in moving the plot forward but I had to take a break mid-book because I knew what was coming and couldn’t bear it
book you wish you could read again for the first time
Sorry this is another manga (also cheating bc I watched it as an anime first) but probably My Hero Academia because I wish I could watch Deku and Bakugo’s relationship develop again with fresh eyes. Or maybe Given (childhood friend-to-lover committed suicide and his surviving boyfriend struggles to move on) because I watched the anime first but wish I had read the manga first instead, because the manga was better and it would’ve hit different.

Ya know, I feel like fully immersive virtual reality technology is really focused on having a set up similar to that in ready player one, but I feel like we should be focusing on a different direction with this technology. The human brain already has the ability to fully immerse us in an environment; I mean, that's what dreams basically are. So if we were able to harness and control that ability, we could have fully immersive VR.
And if we knew how dreams worked we could make it so people who can't dream vividly can still use this technology by simulating a vivid dream using the brain.
We could create this technology in the near future even. We could use brain chip technology linked wirelessly to an external computer to control dreams and even allow for online play.
Before you think that Elon Musk in gonna project ads into our dreams using the chip, I have two solutions for you. The first solution is to not trust Elon Musk as he would definitely pull a sword art online. The second solution is to make it so the brain chip only has Bluetooth capabilities, but not WIFI. The computer would have the WIFI, and would be running the game; the chip would just act like a VR headset letting you play the games.

youtube
But it's not just about the offense. The skies are unpredictable, so you'll need to be ready for anything. One moment the weather is clear, and the next, you're dodging lightning bolts. Avoiding scorching sunbeams, or steering clear of molten rocks plummeting from above. It's a chance to soar high and make your mark in the clouds.
Player Feedback:
The feedback highlights Balloonatics as an engaging and promising game. Evolving from a leisurely item collection title to an adrenaline fueled race against time and opponents. Players relish the chaos of managing myriad sounds. Right from sputtering engines to the feared buzz of bees. The game's graphics are praised for their smoothness and charm. Similar to classics like Mario Kart, it enhances the appeal for both seasoned and new gamers. Balloonatics cross-platform playability for VR and non-VR users is a hit. Since it allows friends to play together seamlessly. The diverse arsenal of weapons and the rush of multiplayer matches are highlights. Although some note the current lack of players and maps. The solo challenges are also tough yet sometimes repetitive. Minor bugs are mentioned but not seen as game-breaking. There's also a general consensus that the game has strong potential, especially with community driven development. The fun factor, high-quality graphics, and anticipation for new content make it a recommended title. Especially for Linux players looking to share the experience with friends. In the Balloonatics world, it doesn't matter if you're wearing a virtual reality headset or using a regular screen. If you're more comfortable with a controller in your hands. It's all about the chase, a well-earned victory, and the laughter that comes from a battle well fought with friends or newfound allies online. Now, with the v1.0, players can launch into the fast-paced physics action. The sky's the limit on Linux and Windows PC. Priced at $7.99 USD / £6.80 / 7,80€ with the 20% launch discount on Steam.

Web 3.0 is not the same as the Metaverse
Tumblr media
More recently, the terms “metaverse” and “Web 3” have been used interchangeably. While they both point to a vision of a better future internet, it’s important that the two concepts don’t get confused or become a source of ideological disagreement around how we want to continue building the internet.
The Metaverse Development Company takes its name from the 1992 sci-fi novel “Avalanche” — more of a vision than a concrete reality. Many people imagine it as a synchronized, persistent, 3D immersive world with unlimited concurrent users. It’s a digital place where we spend most of our time working, studying, playing, entertaining and more.
The Metaverse feels vague and speculative, because it is; it hasn’t really taken shape yet. While some technologists want to nail down the vision along the lines of Meta’s Ready Player One-style keynote, the reality is that the Metaverse needs everyone’s input and participation to really take shape. It should encompass the confluence of different iterative efforts and technological advances, and have no discrete endpoints.
Web 3, on the other hand, is a more specific paradigm that provides explicit solutions to specific shortcomings of the Web 2 Internet. It’s a reaction to the walled-garden ecosystems created by platforms like Facebook and YouTube that have resulted in people’s data being extracted, their privacy violated, and their ability to control the content they create suppressed. Web 3 turns this model on its head because it directly addresses the issues of ownership and control.
By being built on the blockchain, data is open and distributed, and co-owned by a peer-to-peer network. Thus, users own their data, peer-to-peer transactions can bypass middlemen, and data exists on the blockchain as a public good that anyone can contribute and monetize.
We’ve already seen incredible new consumer behaviors emerge in Web 3 initiatives, such as creators being able to sell their content as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), games that help people earn a living by playing games to monetize games and the community-organized investment collective (ConstitutionDAO) mobilized enough funds to bid on the US Constitution at a Sotheby’s auction.
While Web 3 is a powerful tool that could change the way we manage data, govern and exchange money, the Metaverse Development Services slowness of clearing blockchain transactions limits its application settings and use cases. As enticing as it may sound, a purely decentralized internet model is not practical. So while it can be argued that Web 3 is a key building block of the Metaverse, it is only one component of a larger sum.
By acknowledging that Web 3 and decentralization are just the cornerstones of the Metaverse, it opens up opportunities for other types of contributors, not against them.
When Meta (formerly Facebook) announced its vision for an AR/VR-centric Metaverse, there was an outcry that Big Tech would dominate the Metaverse, forcing the platform to operate as a closed ecosystem again.
What people miss is the innovation and focus that Meta is driving is mostly on hardware and 3D user consumption and input interfaces, which frankly don’t exist today. Facebook is trying to solve the immersion problem, and it’s an important one. think about it. Many of us have spent the past two years on Zoom and are exhausted. What would it be like to wear a VR headset all day?
If we expect to spend more and more time happily in virtual worlds, we need more immersive, natural and expressive virtual interfaces. Meta’s developments in AR/VR and motion sensing technologies will not disrupt Web 3 and decentralization efforts. In fact, the best-case scenario is when people start building Web 3 applications in the emerging 3D form factors of AR/VR and holographic projection.
Another lurid argument is that Web 3 will make Web 2 obsolete. Again, it’s hard to imagine such a reality. Despite certain flaws of the Web 2, there are still many products that can operate more efficiently without the use of blockchain. Platforms like Discord or Twitch help people communicate and broadcast in real time at scale. Companies like Uber or DoorDash effectively queue demand and match it with supply.
Like it or not, centralization works. OpenSea, the largest NFT marketplace out there, is fundamentally a centralized marketplace that simply facilitates transactions on the blockchain. Coinbase is another example of a centralized exchange that supports cryptocurrency trading. In both cases, these intermediaries charge transaction service fees like any other Web 2 marketplace.
While these hybrid products don’t quite align with the decentralization ideology, they are key “bridging products” that help in greater adoption of Web 3 elements by appealing to the mainstream. Similar to how Snap Stories was a popular teen product but struggled to adopt among older users, Meta’s adoption of Stories helped it become a mainstream product for all demographics.
When new technologies and paradigms emerge, it can often be considered a revolution. But what we’ve seen throughout history is that they tend to build on existing foundations from past eras. Email is still a huge part of our everyday lives, but it’s a protocol invented during the Web 1 era of the Internet.
Jon Lai, general partner at investment firm a16z, has a solid view of the Metaverse Development solutions’s path in this episode of “Hello Metaverse.” “There’s a lot of building that hasn’t been done yet. Blockchain, games to make money, different types of jobs, virtual economies, all of these are like stepping stones [as well as] UGC [user-generated content] platforms and scaling content creation…it Not this shiny product from some.

What is the Metaverse? Easy Explanation by Metaverse International News
What is the metaverse?
A single, shared, immersive, persistent, 3D virtual space where people can experience life in ways they couldn't in the real world is what we call the "metaverse."
While some of the technologies that allow access to this virtual world, like virtual reality (VR) headsets and augmented reality (AR) glasses, are developing quickly, other essential elements of the metaverse, like sufficient bandwidth or interoperability standards, are probably years away from becoming a reality or may never become one.
The concept is not new: The word "metaverse" was first introduced by author Neal Stephenson in his science fiction book Snow Crash in 1992, even though work on the technology that allow an internet based on virtual reality has been happening for decades.
In this world, the computer screens we use to access the global information web have developed into a tangible, three-dimensional virtual world that is larger and better than real life. Digital replicas of ourselves called avatars travel freely between experiences while carrying our identities and money.
Here is a way to show you how nebulous and complicated the term "the metaverse" may be: In a sentence, mentally change "the metaverse" to "cyberspace." 90% of the time, the meaning won't be much altered. This is due to the fact that the phrase doesn't really apply to a single type of technology, but rather to a broad (and frequently speculative) change in how we interact with technology.
Two examples of the technologies that businesses typically refer to when they discuss "the metaverse" are virtual reality and augmented reality. Virtual reality is characterised by persistent virtual worlds that continue to exist even when you're not playing, and augmented reality combines elements of the digital and physical worlds. It is not required for those places to just be reachable through VR or AR, though. Virtual worlds, including portions of Fortnite, that can be accessed through computers, video game consoles, and even mobile devices, have started to refer to themselves as "the metaverse."
In addition to plans for a new digital economy where users will be able to produce, buy, and sell goods, many companies have jumped on the metaverse bandwagon. In more idealistic depictions, the metaverse is interoperable, enabling the transfer of virtual goods like clothing or cars between platforms. However, this is difficult than it first appears. Moving goods from one video game or virtual world to another is a very challenging subject that no one firm can solve, despite claims made by some proponents that emerging technology, such NFTs, can enable portable digital assets.
There’s a lot that the metaverse has to offer and we’re certainly ready for it. If you want to stay updated with the latest metaverse updates and news, visit Metaverse International News.
Despite this, the idea of "the metaverse," a single, unified space akin to Ready Player One, continues to be largely impractical. This is partially because such a world would force businesses to work together in ways that aren't profitable or desirable—Fortnite wouldn't have much incentive to give players a portal to instantly switch over to World of Warcraft, even if it were possible—and partially because the required computing power may be much further away than we think.
This irritating circumstance has led to a nomenclature that is remarkably diversified. Any one game or platform is now referred to by many companies or fans as "a metaverse." A "metaverse" can be anything, from a VR concert app to a video game, according to this definition. Some go so far as to call the collection of several metaverses a "multiverse of multiverses." Alternately, maybe we live in a "hybrid-verse."
Or, these expressions could mean just about anything. Coca-Cola unveiled a "flavour born in the metaverse" and a Fortnite-related mini-game. There are no rules.
Imagine a virtual reality where billions of people can interact with one another, learn, shop, and live their lives comfortably on their couches in the real world.
What is the metaverse?
A single, shared, immersive, persistent, 3D virtual space where people can experience life in ways they couldn't in the real world is what we call the "metaverse."

Moving goods from one video game or virtual world to another is a very challenging subject that no one firm can solve, despite claims made by some proponents that emerging technology, such NFTs, can enable portable digital assets.
It's difficult to comprehend what all of this implies because it's natural to think, "Wait, doesn't it already exist?" in response to explanations like those above. For instance, trading is possible in Environment of Warcraft's permanent virtual world. Rick Sanchez might discover more about MLK Jr. by going to an exhibition and Fortnite's virtual concerts. To enter your virtual home, put on an Oculus headset. Does that accurately describe "the metaverse"? just some new game genres, then?
It would be like to comparing Google to "the internet" to compare Fortnite to "the metaverse." Even if you spend a lot of time in Fortnite socialising, buying, learning, and playing games, it doesn't automatically mean that it encompasses everything that people and organisations mean when they talk about "the metaverse." Similar to how Google did not build the actual data centres and security measures that make up the internet.
Technology for interacting with virtual worlds is being developed by companies other than major giants like Microsoft and Meta. Many more important companies like Nvidia, Unity, Roblox, and even Snap, as well as a wide spectrum of smaller firms and startups, are building the required infrastructure to create better virtual worlds that more closely match our real-world experiences.
For instance, Epic has acquired a number of companies that help with the creation or distribution of digital assets in order to strengthen its powerful Unreal Engine 5 platform. Unreal is a platform for video games, but it's also utilised in the film industry and might make it simpler for anyone to build virtual worlds. Building digital worlds is experiencing real and exciting developments.

Metaverse 101: A beginner's course in the metaverse
youtube
As more and more people get involved, they are taking pleasure in the immersive experience of virtual reality. However, long gone are these days, when VR was just an AR. The metaverse is a new concept in town - The Metaverse is a mix of NFT, AR/VR web 3.0 and more with a potential to create virtual reality experiences we have never experienced before. The greatest part is that this isn't an idea that is just meant for playing video games. From communication, gaming shopping, to finance, Metaverse can redefine many sectors. Let's review what's Metaverse and what you need to know about it.
What is Metaverse?
The Metaverse can be identified as an imaginary, 3D online space that is focused in connecting users to their fellow users on a vast scale. The most obvious example is the internet that we are currently using. Just like the internet, the Metaverse brings together multiple platforms under an umbrella that makes things easy for its users. A well-established Metaverse can allow users to login to it and live a different life. Video games are an excellent illustration of virtual realities where gamers play how they suitable. With more and a greater number of people are trying to find new ways to escape their realities, possibilities of success for a Metaverse are high. Imagine if people's living conditions on planet were to deteriorate to the level where it becomes hard to indulge in anything. If that were the case an online space where people can get away and enjoy their lives without the realities of life will be much more beneficial. If you think about the direction that the world is headed, it's no stretch to imagine a one day that's similar to. Given the direction things are going, the possibility of several virtual worlds is more likely. metaverse real estate in the market such as Meta (or Facebook), Google, Microsoft, Nvidia and so on... have starting to design their own iteration of virtual worlds.
History of AR/VR
The concept of AR and VR is one that dates from the 1800s, when those first stereoscopes saw their first lights. In the years that followed, various ideas and prototypes emerged with the most striking one of them could be the "Ultimate Display" from Ivan Sutherland in the early 1960s. Many believe that this may be the model that set the stage for today's VR.
In the beginning of 2010, VR as well as AR technologies really began to spread their wings. In 2010 in 2010, the Oculus Rift VR headset launched and caused shock waves in the market. Following the release of Oculus, Sony and Samsung came out with their own versions this VR headset. In addition, Google Glass, a pair of AR glasses, went on sale at the same time. Pokemon Go was one of the games that used AR at its own advantage, and became a global phenomenon. The blockchain industry is getting in on the action by introducing Metaverses such as the Decentraland or the Sandbox. While the Metaverse appears alien, the idea of it has been a concept that many films have employed. One of the most effective examples of the aforementioned worst-case scenario is the movie Ready Player One. It showcases the full potential of this virtual world idea along with its ups and downs. That the company that is a social media giant that is now Facebook to Meta shows their interest in the Metaverse. Despite all this, we are still at the very beginning of realizing the full potential of AR and VR.
Unlimited possibilities are possible with the Metaverse
The possibilities of the possibility of a fully immersive Metaverse could be limitless. A lot of people have their own notion of what the term "Metaverse" is in reality, and there are intriguing opinions floating around. A large portion of society believes that the Metaverse exists. For instance, they claim that staring at a screen is also a method of interfacing with a virtual world. Furthermore, there are even some people that say humans are cyborgs. Mobile devices are the technological equivalent of ourselves. Applications that use AR technology like Pokemon Go, Dogami, and the IKEA mobile apps show the possibilities of this kind of technology. Even the most advanced VR gear like Oculus Quest 2 , and Valve index is only capable of showing a little of what's possible with VR. While we don't have a problem with the technology, we cannot agree with them either. Although it's true they're adding a digital aspect of our lives, it can be much more. We believe that an entirely immersive Metaverse can be described as a place that lets users live completely different lives. The virtual world will be capable of giving more than just sound and images for users to be immersed in the experience. Since many companies aim in distributing their own edition of Metaverse in the near future, users will require the option to connect to any one they prefer. In the same vein that is not the case with the decentralized or centralized ones will also come forth with the help of the blockchain. Decentralized blockchain Metaverses are designed to help keep your personal information safe and keep them out of those rogue hands of tech giants.
What is it that makes this Concept So revolutionary?
You might wonder why some people are making such a fuss on this topic. The answer to that is very simple and straightforward. Metaverse will be the next step in the digital world , and can change how we interact with one another and with the world. It is a good question to ask if Metaverse is relevant today is similar to asking if internet usage was relevant earlier in the 1990s. It's natural for people to hold skeptical opinions and questions concerning the implementation of the technology. Like the internet itself, the Metaverse is bound to meet our desires that we did not even realize existed. It will develop and change to meet the needs of the individual. As well as the major focus in Web 3.0 and the blockchain this virtual space will bring about significant changes to our world. Decentralization and decentralization of every aspect of our lives is just one of the modifications. A well-designed VR/AR environment can help overcome many of the limitations that affect humans, whether that be physically or psychological. Imagine a world where you can accomplish your daily activities and tasks while at as well as imagining countless fantasies.
Every minute we spend sitting in front of screens trying to figure out ways to entertain ourselves could transform into time spent in the metaverse. If this does not excite you now, then it's about time to pay attention.
Metaverse in the Blockchain
Because of the freedom it affords to its users blockchain technology is one that is extremely compatible with virtual reality. The benefits received from collaboration are numerous in number. Let's examine some of them.
Digital evidence of ownership
The only thing that any person can own on internet , is the domain. Blockchains can permit users to connect their personal non-custodial, non-custodial wallets with the Metaverse avatar. It is enough to prove their ownership of assets and provide them with an easy means to carry out transactions.
Digital Collections
If the Metaverse has a crypto wallet in its arsenal it will allow users to show off their digital merchandise. With the aid of blockchain technology assets are coded with restrictions on their scarcity to assure the authenticity of their content and security.
Transfer value
Transferring value is a major aspect of the global society we currently live in. If a digital world is designed to substitute that, it needs to be equipped with it the capacity in transferring value. This is where blockchain comes in. Blockchain serves as the framework for transferring securely digital assets and create a DeFi system.
Interoperability
Many technology giants have started their process to introduce their own metaverses such as Omniverse, Decentraland, and Meta. If the world wants to mainstream these virtual realms, there has to be a way to seamlessly move from one one to the other. And blockchain is leading the search for interoperable solutions.
Accessibility
In order to be a success in the virtual realm, it must be able be accessed by everyone in the world that has an internet connection -- which the Metaverse can. In such a scenario everyone will have same opportunities and will level an playing field. Problems that arise from your location of origin and economy will become a thing of the past. If all of these aspects are considered, it's easy to understand the importance of blockchain in the creation of metaverses.
Metaverse in Daily Life
Then, you may be thinking of how a virtual universe like that could benefit a human in their daily lives as a real person. There are numerous ways the Metaverse can aid in the real world. For example, Television, various events, and other events The events like musical shows events, fashion shows and sporting events will become more accessible using this method. Anyone around the globe can take part on the fun while being within the comforts of their homes. Major artists like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande as well as KSI have already hosted such shows and enjoying massive success. In addition, the latest movie releases and shows will be accessible on the Metaverse.
Food delivery
As a fundamental necessity for any human, food as well as transportation of food will get precedence in the virtual world. When your avatar is connected to an eating establishment located in Metaverse you will be able to request the food delivered directly to your doorstep in the real world. Major names in food industry such as McDonald's have already taken steps to introduce similar services to the virtual world.
Shopping
Like food delivery when shopping, you will be able send items to your real-world address. If you're doing things like clothes shopping, test to see if they will fit before the purchase takes place. In addition, you will be able to personalize your avatar. They'll be exactly like NFTs.
Medical field
Metaverse will also open possibilities to meet medical researchers, and pharmaceutical specialists from all over the world. Furthermore, fully immersive metaverse will assist in storing and maintaining all medical data in a manner that is both dependable and secure from tampering. Aimedis Health City is a wonderful example of this.
Work
If a company decides that it wants to work on the Metaverse It will help them reduce funds that could be used for buildings materials, transport, and other expenses. The employees will also be able to work from home , working in a cozy environment. Additionally, they will have access to job opportunities in the international market unlike ever before.
eSports
eSports are an area that is taking over the world in a stunning manner. Like, for instance, games like League of Legends get a reach of over 194 million, beating MLB, NBA, and NHL and games like Dota 2 have a prize amount of more than $45 million. If you add a Metaverse that is more favorable for eSports over traditional ones, eSports have the potential to dominate. Additionally, projects that earn money through play like Axie's infinity will boost the already huge impact of eSports.
Financial and economic
Metaverse could revolutionize the way people think about the financial sector. DeFi institutions , in addition to brick-and-mortar enterprises are making steps towards a virtual world. This has led to scenarios such as that of the Ministry of ICR of South Korea which has pledged $186.7 million to the Metaverse ecosystem.
What's the next chapter for the Metaverse?
What's the future of Metaverse technology is a matter that cannot be answered right away. This technology is only taking its first steps and even that has profoundly impacted the world. Research suggests that as high as about 65% of primary-school children in the near future will be required to take on job jobs that aren't even in existence today. This could be due to the Metaverse. If the world adopts this technology at a brisk pace and embraces it, this will be where the majority of lives of humans will take place. roblox metaverse means that the imagination isn't the limit in the future of the Metaverse and the day it's gaining traction across the world is getting closer.
Conclusion
While some find it difficult to believe in a world different from ours and our own, we're already experiencing the earliest forms of it. Social media, video games as well as AR/VR programs are pushing us toward an era powered by a Metaverse. It doesn't matter if people like it the idea is not popular, you can't stop it from being implemented. In the final analysis, in a fully immersive Metaverse, possibilities will be endless, and people are able to live their lives in the way they would like to.

Metaverse 101: a basic reference to the world of metaverse
As more and more people get involved, they are seeking an immersive experience through virtual reality. But our days with AR/VR. There's a new trend being discussed - the Metaverse is a mix of NFT, AR/VR, web 3.0 and more with a possibility of creating virtual reality experiences that we've never had before. The greatest part is that this does not mean that it is only designed for the video game industry. From gaming, communication purchasing to finance, Metaverse is able to change many industries. Let's look at what's Metaverse and why you should know about it.
What is Metaverse?
The Metaverse is the 3D, virtual online world that is focused on connecting users to each other on a large scale. It is best illustrated by the internet that we're currently using. Similar to the internet the Metaverse brings together multiple platforms under one platform, which makes things simple for its users. A well-established Metaverse will allow users to log into it and enjoy a completely different life. Video games are a great instance of virtual realms where users can play games as they see best. As more and more people are seeking solutions to escape from the reality of their lives, odds of the success of a virtual world are high. Imagine that the conditions for living on the planet become worse to the stage where it's hard to even enjoy anything. In this scenario it is a virtual place where people can be able to live their lives away from reality's hardships will be much more pleasant. Looking at the direction our planet is going, it is not difficult to imagine an future similar to that. Based on the current state of affairs unfolding, the likelihood of numerous virtual realms seems more likely. Large names in the business such as Meta (or Facebook), Google, Microsoft, Nvidia etc... are starting to design their own versions of a virtual world.
History of AR/VR
The concept of AR also known as VR is a concept that goes from the 1800s, when those first stereoscopes saw their first light. From there on, various designs and prototypes were created but the most impressive one comes from the "Ultimate Display" from Ivan Sutherland in the early 1960s. metaverse crypto coins consider this to be the blueprint that laid the basis for today's VR.
The first decade of 2010 was the time when VR and AR technologies really started spreading their wings. In 2010, The Oculus Rift virtual reality headset came out and sent shockwaves in the market. After the launch of Oculus, Sony and Samsung released their own versions of this VR headset. Additionally, Google Glass, a pair of AR glasses, came out simultaneously. Pokemon Go was one of the games that utilized AR to its advantage, and brought the world to its feet. In the present, even blockchains are getting involved through Metaverses like Decentraland along with the Sandbox. While the Metaverse isn't exactly familiar, its concept is something many movies have embraced. One of the best examples of the aforementioned worst-case scenario is the film Ready Player One. It explores the entire potential of the virtual world concept together with its ups, and downs.
youtube
A name shift of giant social media company of the world from Facebook to Meta is a sign of their interest in the Metaverse. Despite all this, we're in the beginning stages of getting the most out of VR and AR.
Infinite possibilities with the Metaverse
The possibilities offered by an immersive Metaverse may be limitless. A lot of people have their own understanding of what the "Metaverse" is, and there are some interesting opinions out there. Part of society thinks that the Metaverse is something that is already present. For metaverse investing , they say that gazing at screens can be a way of interfacing with a virtual world. There are people who say that humans are cyborgs and mobile devices are technical extensions of us. Applications that utilize AR technology like Pokemon Go, Dogami, and the IKEA mobile app demonstrate what can be accomplished with this tech. Even top-of-the-line VR gear like Oculus Quest 2 and Valve index are capable of showing just a fraction of what is possible with VR. While we can't argue with them, we don't have to agree with them. While it's true that they are adding the online aspect of our lives, it could be more than that. We are convinced that a truly immersive Metaverse can be a place in which people can live completely different lives. This virtual world is capable of providing far more than only sounds and pictures for users to truly immerse themselves in the experience. Since many companies intend at releasing their own variant of the Metaverse Users will require access to the one they wish. Similar to the above apart from the decentralized or centralized ones will also emerge thanks to the blockchain. Decentralized blockchain Metaverses help protect your private data and keep them safe from the prying eyes of tech giants.
What is it that makes this Concept So revolutionary?
It is possible to ask why people are making such a big fuss on this topic. The answer to that is an easy and straightforward one. Metaverse will be the next step in the digital era and will alter the way we interact with each other and the world. Asking if the Metaverse matter now is similar to asking if the internet matters during the 90s. It's natural for people to disagree with each other and be skeptical concerning the implementation of the technology. Similar to the internet, the Metaverse will surely meet the needs of our society that we did not really know existed. It's likely to also evolve and adapt according to the preferences of users. In conjunction with the huge focus the focus on Web 3.0 and the blockchain virtual reality will create a lot of needed changes in the world. Decentralization in the everyday aspects of our lives is among the modifications. An effective VR/AR system can alleviate many limitations that make humans feel restricted, whether that be physically or psychological. Imagine a place where you could complete your everyday chores and work at the and at the same time, you can live a life of almost limitless fantasies.
All of our time now staring at screens or trying to figure out ways to entertain ourselves can transform into time spent in the metaverse. If this does not excite you now, then it's probably time to pay attention.
Metaverse in the Blockchain

Digital proof of ownership
The only thing anyone can own on the internet , is the domain. Blockchains allow users to connect their personally owned money accounts that aren't custodial to their Metaverse avatar. This alone can enable users to prove ownership of assets as well as provide them with a convenient process to complete transactions.
Digital Collections
If the Metaverse has a crypto wallet in its arsenal and users can use it showcase their digital collectibles. With the help of blockchain technology, items could be coded with scarcity restrictions to ensure their value, exclusivity, and authentication.
Transfer value
Value transfer is a key part of the world that we currently live in. If a virtual world aims as a replacement for it, it should carry with it the capacity the transfer of value. This is where blockchain comes into play. Blockchain acts as platform to safely transfer digital assets. It can also be used to establish the DeFi system.
Interoperability
Many tech giants have started their process to introduce their own metaverses such as Omniverse, Decentraland, and Meta. If the world plans to be able to make these virtual worldsthen there has to be a method that seamlessly moves between them. Blockchain is at the forefront of the race to find interoperable solutions.
Accessibility
In order to be an online world that succeeds, it needs to be accessible by anyone in the world with an internet connection. The Metaverse is able to. In a place like that everybody will have the equal chance and the opportunity to even an playing field. Issues that come with your hometown and economy will become a thing that were once. If all of these aspects are considered, it's easy to appreciate the importance of blockchain technology to the growth of metaverses.
Metaverse in Daily Life
And, you're probably asking yourself how a virtual space like this can assist humans live their life in the real world. There are many ways that the Metaverse can assist the real world. For example, Television and various events Shows such as musicals such as fashion shows, musicals, and sporting events will become more accessible using this method. Summer lesson vr to west
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can only do it for a certain amount of time because it is different, perceptually, than the real world. VR has always been about solving hard problems. It’s not something that you do for fun yet. That being said, I don’t use VR recreationally. I’ve dedicated my career to VR-I’ve done nothing but think about it during my work life since the late ’90s. Is that what we could see with the metaverse? And does that point to bigger consumer reluctance to use VR and AR? Google Glass went from a failed consumer product to more of a workplace apparatus. The CEO says that lives are saved because decisions are made faster because of the practice from employees who use VR. It’s one of the most incredible success stories of VR, as horrible as that day was.
Tumblr media
And so they were prepared in a way that they wouldn’t have been had they not done that training. Many of the employees were working that had already trained with Strivr’s active shooter preparation tool. The CEO of Walmart has publicly discussed this. One of the most successful trainings for Strivr is active shooter training. What the metaverse is going to do is that, with all the Strivr training scenarios, we’re now going to be able to do it in teams. or they’re recorded people that we’re beaming in via video capture. Currently, we do lots of things where there are other people around, but those people are either controlled by A.I. In 2016, we pivoted to enterprise, and so the largest client remains Walmart. We began as a football training, training quarterbacks and other players, and then we went to other sports-US Olympic skiing, NBA free-throw shooting. What Strivr does is we put you in this incredibly immersive scene. Ultimately, what’s going to drive VR is that it’s really good for training. And you’re getting thousands of people per day going to places like AltspaceVR or VRChat, but not hundreds of thousands. It has been a killer app of VR since there’s been VR and that remains the case today. When you go through the history of VR, it’s all about training, starting with the Flight Simulator in 1929. You think work and enterprise are going to be huge parts of the metaverse. We have short bursts with 30- to 40-minute experiences. And I’m very strict-I don’t want to get anyone dizzy ever. If you’re looking at someone talking, you don’t need to be in VR, right? One reason why I want my smaller discussions to be in VR is that it preserves the spatial coherence of the conversation. Once a week, we do kind of a lecture where we talk about readings and we have guest lecturers come in and we do that over Zoom. More importantly, we’ve been developing a curriculum that leverages what the metaverse is good for. The lessons that we’ve learned ranged from what size group is the best for small-group discussion to how many avatars can you render in the same scene before the whole system crashes. When you combine the two classes, you’ve got 250 students-plus in VR with a group for 10 weeks in a row. Our class was a magnitude of order larger than anything anyone has ever tried. We’re learning a ton about how to teach and learn in VR. How does the metaverse change what’s possible for teaching? In the last six or seven months, the hardware has gotten good enough where I can do the class I’ve always dreamed of since the late ’90s. I don’t think the hardware was ready nine or ten months ago. We’re doing travel and meditation and medical classes. This fall, I’ve got 178 Stanford students and we are doing incredible things.
Tumblr media
We spent about 60,000 shared minutes inside virtual reality and did all the things that Stephenson wrote about way back then. We talked and we learned and we experimented and we traveled. So in June 2021, 101 Stanford students all had their own headsets at home and we networked via avatars in the metaverse using a platform called Engage. I volunteered because I’ve been teaching a class since 2003 called Virtual People and I wanted to, given that we were remote anyway, try to do it in immersive VR in the metaverse. In March 2020, when covid-19 hit, Stanford asked professors to volunteer to move their normal teaching load to summer 2021. Imagine the internet skipped the 2D version and went right into VR. Stephenson defines the metaverse as basically the internet, but immersive. Will the WHO’s Covaxin approval answer questions about the vaccine’s trials?īailenson: The term “metaverse” comes from Neal Stephenson’s 1996 book Snow Crash. The interview has been lightly edited for length and clarity. Bailenson recently spoke with Quartz about what the metaverse is, the state of metaverse technology, and why the developers of the metaverse can be conscientious about their carbon footprint.

Is The Metaverse The Future Of Social Media?
Tumblr media
Facebook, the social media amalgamation has formally replaced its name with meta. Although, the product Facebook will stay consistent. The parent company possesses services like Whatsapp, Instagram, Oculus, Messenger, and Facebook will be recognized as Meta.
What is Meta?
The word “meta” in itself is obtained from a greek word that stands for after or beyond. If you are a software developer, then you might have so far heard the word meta-data, which is a combination of data that grasps useful details about other data.
Do You Think Your Business Should Put Money into the Metaverse Today?
Probably not. The applied science is not prepared yet.
If you want to construct a retail store in Decentraland’s metaverse as a marketing stunt, then go all out. Do not anticipate it to be a long-standing consumer capturing opportunity today.
It is understandable if you own resources and are ardent about the metaverse to examine this automation, to acknowledge what they’re excellent and what they’re not.
Virtual worlds are, nevertheless, just one feature of how the internet is changing today. It’s also in all probability the one we’ll have to wait for prolonged to watch the actuality.
Meta & Metaverse Demonstration
Facebook’s genius Zuckerberg has a very excellent motive for denominating his parent company Meta, as he is in a position to enlarge his social media platform, one which includes AR and VR. In accordance with the official website, metaverse will be the upcoming progression of social connection.
1.) If you have gone through the movie Ready Player One by Steven Spielberg, then you so far recognize what metaverse is. It is a virtual sphere, where all the peoples have their digital form and can connect with each other. Again, this will be similar to the accessible world, where the audience will be charged a definite fee to unlock various specification sets.
2.) Metaverse will comprise 3D spaces, where the audience can play, learn, create social connections, and even build a business. Although, far from the frequent social media platform, the metaverse is not just an app that can be installed on a digital phone and start utilizing.
3.) To take alluring metaverse worldliness, one requires gadgets like smart glasses and VR headsets like the Oculus Quest 2, which are as costly as digital phones. Therewithal, they also require an uninterrupted internet connection to construct the virtual world in real-time, in consequence, it is actually altogether high-priced to get into the metaverse.
4.) Facebook which is now world-famous as meta is splurging a lot of money into growing training AR and VR amenities. Just similar to other social media platforms, the more the audience more the entertainment. It seems that meta will put so much time and resources into constructing a metaverse and devise it into a moneymaking company.
Meta Might Sell VR Headsets At a Supportive Cost
Facebook might just implement the console-market notion, where the organization could begin selling the VR headsets at a reduced price and then create money utilizing the in-platform purchase. Actually, marks also verified that the organization is instigating Grand Theft Auto San Andreas together with Rockstar studio, which will shortly be accessible for Oculus users.
Metaverse Is An Progressive World
Metaverse is a progressive world, to say the slightest. Given the actuality it needs additional hardware, it might not get as victorious as Facebook or Instagram, mainly in price-conscious markets like India. We have gone through plenty of Sci-Fi products from Silicon Valley, and this is definitely the one with a lot of probability.

Is Metaverse New Coming?
Tumblr media
The concept of "metaverse", which has been on the agenda recently, had a great impact when it was first introduced. Represented by a metaverse avatar, it is much more than the definition of a virtual world where users can shop, socialize, participate in leisure activities and learn. Metaverse is a brand new concept, no matter how old it is.
Companies such as Facebook, Microsoft and Epic Games have already started to come up with billions of dollars of investment plans with the concept of metaverse. Facebook executives define the metaverse as an environment where people can feel like they are together while playing games or doing research. In my belief it will be the next stage in the evolution of the internet. With VR headsets, augmented reality (AR), smart watches and smart glasses, many concepts about accessing the virtual reality universe have already entered our lives. The metaverse, which we can see as the enhanced version of virtual reality technology, has emerged as a new fictional universe. What comes to mind if we describe the Metaverse as an embodied internet that a person can enter instead of just looking at?
It is no exaggeration that the Metaverse is portrayed as a place where pre-built virtual worlds will allow users to interact with one another with real human images, by digitizing their real physical environment as opposed to cartoonish avatars. Even if the concept of metaverse is not complete, we can see that it is the subject of many movies such as The Matrix, Black Mirror Pokemon Go, Ralph Breaks The Internet.
The word metaverse is formed by the combination of the words "meta" (meaning beyond) and "universe". The term also first appeared in Neal Stephenson's 1992 science fiction novel Snow Crash. The novel described a digital space that people access using virtual reality glasses and a fiber optic network. Is it familiar to you? With the worldwide spread of the crypto money world, the concept of metaverse moved to another dimension and gained a whole new meaning. The Second Life game, which was released in 2003, was a second world where people exist in the virtual world with their own avatars, and in 2013 it reached more than one million users. With this feature, Second Life can be defined as the first metaverse game. I think Minecraft, one of the most popular video games in history, is close to the concept of the metaverse. Roblox, which was released in 2006, can also be counted in the familiar metaverse concept.
When Metaverse becomes fully functional (as infrastructure, of course) it will offer a shared 3D virtual environment where people can shop, subscribe to services, collaborate with colleagues, play games and even customize the surrounding landscape to their personal tastes and needs. I think it would be a more logical framework to define the Metaverse as allowing people to enter the digital world rather than owning a digital space. Considering the movie Ready Player One, the metaverse is the desired technological revolution, a digital reality that melts the features of social media, online gaming, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and cryptocurrencies into one pot to allow users to interact virtually. Otherwise, it can be very difficult to request.
Companies are rapidly building functional models to be included in this emerging economic ecosystem. But there is a misunderstanding that needs to be corrected. The Metaverse isn't just a place where buying virtual real estate or land is the only way to monetize data. Facebook can sacrifice $10 billion to develop this new technology, which JP Morgan estimates could be worth over $1 trillion. New and unique business practices are emerging at a rapid pace. New markets and lines of business are already emerging on the metaverse. Maybe one day we can even see the days when the metaverse is life itself. nft metaverse.

If You Don't Best Minecraft Mods Now, You'll Hate Yourself Later
With a mild, you possibly can go underground and start mining sources there, along with treasure chests that may comprise gear upgrades, and life crystals to lift your health. I'm certain there is a social life being thrown in there too; I've just bought to seek out it in some unspecified time in the future. In a video recreation like Runescape, you may duplicate merchandise effortlessly. When did Minecraft put cookies? Simply remember that cookies are usually not as restorative as bread in terms of hunger factors. Cookies have been added to Minecraft in the beta 1.4 version which was launched in March 2011. So long as you may discover a jungle biome or a trader prepared to promote you cocoa beans for your emeralds, you'll be able to simply forge this sweet deal with.
The brand new Minecraft is right here! In its weblog update Wednesday, Microsoft stated that it has seen ransomware assaults on Minecraft servers that aren't hosted by the company that entails the Khonsari ransomware family. The metaverse that hosted the wedding was made by Virbela, an organization that, in response to its web site, “builds immersive 3D worlds for work, learning and digital events.” With the Virbela platform, no VR headset is required and it is appropriate with virtually any pc. Sure, many individuals used Zoom to attend weddings during COVID-19, however what about really having the entire marriage ceremony within the metaverse - an immersive virtual world - with each guest attending as an avatar? When you start taking part in on a server it is much more entertaining as you will usually discover new issues you might be desirous about including to your mannequin. Whilst you already know the tricks of the sport, only a excessive-quality server provides you with an excellent playing expertise. It's pretty meta and fairly funny to be enjoying a sport inside of a digital reality sport, but it isn't a bad method to view things should you want a break from the complete VR expertise.
Remember the fact that since Minecraft is a incessantly patched recreation, a few of these mods may take a while to get updated to the most recent version. It's a charmless, cynical, and craven rip-off packaged with one of the sinister microtransaction models ever applied into a sport, and it is developed by a company that has on a number of occasions confirmed itself to be only shades away from a dedicated fraud manufacturing facility. The non-disclosure agreements are such a cute idea when you think about that an organization is making an attempt to use them wholesale to a community that is used to open data and a free trade of ideas, usually in the type of Wikipedia edit wars. There's a free beta key in every field. None. Don't click on ads or hyperlinks or websites that say they offers you free minecraft. In this article, we have compiled a complete checklist of all the best Minecraft mods we recommend attempting. Do you have your list of punny character names printed out and at the ready? It is solely a disguise or look you can give to your character.
Therefore, it's best to definitely give Minecraft mods a shot, as they make among the finest Laptop games ever made even higher. Quite a lot of its recognition comes from being able to comply with the prompts to install minecraft on your computer. Minecraft servers are so standard among the passionate players. You get the same advantages from using such a server that you get from utilizing Minecraft servers. Scroll right down to the "Change the way you look in Minecraft" section. Actually, hard to consider anything worse, something I’d wish to do lower than take a look at cartoons of individuals on a convention name. If mandatory, you can too improve to a higher plan everytime you need. Almost anything you'll be able to imagine that may very well be incorrect with a recreation is fallacious with the game. The game Runescape was first launched in January 2001. It has been greater than 17 years. Put simply: Nearly all the pieces that was incorrect with this game when it launched in January continues to be unsuitable with it, and Hammerpoint would not seem to care in the slightest. Editum

HITMAN 3 Year 2: Announcement
Tumblr media
ARE WE READY
Elusive Target Arcade
I'm not too surprised they decided to change up the ET formula, as some fans have been complaining for a long time. That being said, I actually loved that you can only complete elusives once. It's what made it so tense. It seems like ET Arcade is a good compromise, still adding difficulty by making you take down multiple targets, and letting you try once a day (if you fail). Adding new objectives and complications sounds great too, so you have to improvise and think on your feet, like 47.
PCVR
This is awesome news for PC players! I've been wanting to try out HITMAN on PSVR for ages. Can't really justify buying a VR headset just for one game.... but daaaamn I want to go to the Maldives.
HITMAN FREELANCER
ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok
Obviously the best part of the announcement lol
Coming in Spring, so I'm guessing late March/early April? The alpha footage looks stunning.
The details are this are more than I could have hoped for tbh.
Customizable safehouse
We've been BEGGING for a safehouse since 47's garden shed in Silent Assassin, and BABES, this is quite the shed.
This gorgeous self-sufficient house is everything I had hoped for and MORE. Shooting range and secret computer cave, gym, kitchen, living room, BATHROOM I'm sure, CLOSET for dress-up, GARAGE so he can scoot about, and the boy is aerial too
Tumblr media
And can we talk about how much furniture he has? I have thought so much about 47 and how he might choose to live, and now we'll get those answers. Will it look like the kind of place that could be anyone's, or will it have personal touches? Art? Books? Sentimental items? You KNOW I want to see this man's bedroom.
What can he get up to around his house? Exercise, gardening, playing music? Reading, lounging, meditating, eating, I want it all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Furniture, for TWO
The look of each area can be customized to "how you think your hitman should live" which probably means they'll put some fun stuff in there too that might not necessarily be canon to 47 but a laugh for players. I'm looking forward to choosing the most canon-compliant options obviously lol
And - I assume you buy stuff with money you earn from mission payouts, because:
Shop with suppliers
Tumblr media
This is so cool, it was great to use the money you earned from hits in Blood Money to upgrade weapons or buy new ones and new gear. Now we have this integrated beautifully into the narrative as 47 is a freelancer and must rely on his own contacts (or Diana's) and spend his own money - no more agency support. I bet this has been in the works for a while and I love it.
Aside from how very cool that is (and I am assuming you get to put the stuff you buy up on your weapons rack <3) we also have non-persistent items!!!!!!! That might annoy some people but honestly I love it. You lose something? It's lost! If you want to keep your gear, you have to bring it home again! It makes your planning more tense, and I love the self-reliance here for 47. He and Diana have their own scrappy little freelance business and it's EVERYTHING.
"You have to stock up, there's no back-up plan."
I'm so happy they gave this such a strong roleplaying focus, cos personally I love to do canon playthroughs and complete missions the way I think 47 would.
The Freelancer Campaign
Tumblr media
Looks like 8 sets of missions and I love how you will work your way through the criminal empire to find each leader. It reminds me of targets like Hayamoto and Lee Hong, where you had to work your way up to them.
This is really fitting for a 47 without agency support. He has to find out who to kill instead of relying on intelligence gathered by whole rooms full of agency analysts.
I also think this is setting up 47 and Diana to return to the ICA. "You're doing well on your own, think of how much good you could do with our resources" kind of thing.
The existing locations being used in new ways is so exciting, and I love how they've made it difficult to learn the missions because the leader will keep changing. Hitman always does "guess who" very well. The rogue-like elements are also fascinating to me as a way to keep players on their toes.
New Map!
We knew new maps and new storylines were coming since the Year 2 announcement, but now we get to glimpse one!
For "later in Year 2":
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Where do we think this is?
My final thoughts:
I am assuming Freelancer is after "one year later" when Diana has wrecked Providence and they meet up to start their freelance biz, but there is also the possibility that Freelancer takes place during 47's year off. I'm still guessing it's the former, but we'll see!

Do me a favour, can your heart rate rise a little? -Leviathan
Inspired by: Would you be so kind? -Dodie
Summary: You like someone, but you have no idea how they feel about you, so using your brilliant deduction skills, you attempt to figure it out. (Too bad you kept missing the signals till they're right in your face.)
Aka: That one time the human tried to find out if a demon liked them
Warning(s): In-game blood mention (only one time, and it's really early), also both of you are in a horror game
Tag(s): Fluff, It's a showdown between two mutual friendzoners, get the popcorn ready, Went a little crazy with game references, so expect a mountain of them (apologies in advance)
(Part of a songfic challenge involving Luci, Mammon and Levi. All three have the same song inspiration, this challenge is pretty light hearted so...yeah :D)
---
Leviathan
Levi has invited you to his room! Do you accept?
->Yes No
As you enter the room, you see the Avatar of Envy by his monitor, he notices you enter, and his face brightens.
"Hey! You're just in time! Get over here, quick! This section requires Co-op for a rare drop!"
The section for this game required both players to present in the game world, so donning on your VR headset, you ventured into the cursed video game. What could go wrong?
You find yourself in...a house? A really big one at that -- paintings on the wall, several bookshelves to the side and...something...red?
"Ah, sorry, I was so excited to start playing that I forgot to mention- this is that new horror game I was talking about! In a recent interview, the developers stated that they were so inspired by human world horror games like **tl*st, Th* W*tch's H**s*and P*rg*t*ry, they thought about incorporating such death-trap elements into VR!"
Um, Levi? Who's that-
"While this is the first time they have dabbled in the horror genre, the developers are one of the best in the VR industry right now! Their graphics are second to none, although I still think their best work is their Inhabitant Sin series, a game where a company is responsible for bringing out a zom- Wha-Hey! I'm not finished yet!"
Unfortunately, the masked giant butcher that was slowly stalking behind Levi wasn't interested in hearing his review, or maybe he didn't like it. Either way, you had to drag him away as fast as your two human legs could carry you both before snake sashimi became a delicacy.
With a roar, the masked monster started his hunt, his footsteps thudding throughout the hallways.
You suddenly feel yourself tugged to the side. The already dim lights seem to be moving above you before you're surrounded by darkness, and, y'know....Levi.
"That was close, thanks, oh, but you might want to keep quiet, the monster could still be nearby."
...Seems like he doesn't notice the proximity yet, and you try to mentally normalise it, just have to not think about how he's pratically pinning you against the wall of a closet. A really small closet, yeah...just gotta...not...think...about it....
Well luckily you don't have much time to ponder that thought, cause as soon as footsteps echoed further away from you both, Levi, whose head was turned away from you, finally spoke up.
"Woooahhhhh, did you see that monster?! That design was definitely inspired by the antagonist from Th* *v*l W*th*n, that game was from the human world too, so you must've heard of it rig-"
As he turned to face you, the realisation of how close he is to your face hits him. He can practically hear your breathing, and his brain is malfunctioning right now.
This...feels like that trope he saw so often online....
Well, apart from the fact that he's now a living statue, you can't really glean his feelings towards you, maybe he's just really conscious about his personal space?
After that particular incident with a blushing (and disappointed?) Levi, the both of you decided to start playing the game, staying close so as to watch each other's backs, but far enough to cover enough ground in the room, things seem to be going pretty well.
That is, as you both are heading towards the final objective in an empty, narrow hallway, a roar from behind can be heard!
"Tsk, dammit, MC! Run!"
As you both sprint towards your goal, the roars are becoming louder. Wait, Levi! Look out for that broom-
"AAAAAA! MC! Quick! Just grab the diamond!"
As the monster reaches for Levi, you manage to get ahold of the yellow diamond...huh?
--------------------
*Masked Monster has appeared!
--------------------
Masked Monster 99/99
You 10/10
--------------------
-> Fight! Skills
Items Run
--------------------
You attacked!
Masked Monster gained 10 damage!
--------------------
Masked Monster 89/99
You 10/10
--------------------
Masked Monster used Cleaver!
It's super effective!
You gained 999 damage!
You're blacking out....
"No-MC!"
--------------------
Levi-chan has joined the battle!
"You bastard, don't worry MC! I'll take care of him!"
--------------------
Masked Monster 89/99
Levi-chan 10/10
--------------------
Levi-chan used a Retaliate!
Masked Monster gained 70 damage!
--------------------
Masked Monster 19/99
Levi-chan 10/10
--------------------
Masked Monster used Cleaver!
Levi-chan gained 5 damage!
--------------------
"Ugh...just...this last attack...and you're going down!"
--------------------
Masked Monster 19/99
Levi-chan 5/10
--------------------
Levi-chan attacked!
Masked Monster gained 20 damage!
--------------------
Masked Monster was defeated!
--------------------
With a last pitiful groan, the masked butcher disintergrated into dust, and as your vision was blacking out, you feel your consciousness in-game fade...
"Ahhhh that game was so fun! Although that twist at the end seemed a little weird, the developers also said they wanted to try different endings for different modes. Like for example, in partner mood, the stronger your feelings for your partner the greater the damage you make! Of course, this only works for the move 'Retaliate', but afterwards, the game increases your stats! Right now the maximum damage for the move is 60 and I thought it wasn't possible at first, since no one could ever get it online, but now I'm the first one to experience it! Thank you MC!"
...Did he just...unknowingly confess to you with a game?
(Well that was anticlimatic...)
No matter, all you need to do now is to confirm your suspicions right?
"U-Urp!!! What are you doing?! Blatantly asking me something like this, b-but that normie tactic of yours won't work on me! You'll never get any information out of me!!!!!"
Whelp, looks like asking him like this won't do much, maybe...if you acted like him back in the closet...?
"WHA-wait, this is a...kabedon?! This is like all the manga I've seen, a way for intimacy without any contact, highlighting the tension between two characters...! Woahh, my heart's beating so fast it feels like it's going to explode...!"
He's looking straight at you now, a hint of longing in those eyes, it's pretty obvious even through those bangs.
He's not pushing you away, but he's definitely holding himself back from launching himself at you.
Your faces are so close, you can practically feel the heat radiating off his face. If either of you just leaned in a little more....
"So this is a kabedon, a true kabedon..."

Metaverse Training: Reimagining The Future Of Learning And Development
Tumblr media
Technologies behind metaverse
1.VR, AR and Extended Reality
virtual world
The most widely used metaverse technology is virtual reality, which replicates real-life events and may be used for real-world purposes including social networking, education, and job training. By offering a VR-based wearable that enables people to enter another virtual world from the comfort of their homes, the Metaverse Development Company has the potential to upend enterprises. One such application that lets users engage with people from all over the world, explore virtual worlds, take on entertainment challenges, and even make their own is Facebook Horizons. No matter where they are situated, users from all around the world may share a virtual environment. The Oculus Quest and HTC Vive are two of the most well-liked VR headsets.
Augmented reality
The main technology of the metaverse is augmented reality, which is an experience where designers add computer-generated data to various areas of the user’s surroundings. Virtual assistants can be supported by AR contact lenses and AR glasses thanks to advanced artificial intelligence. Users will be able to move between the physical and virtual worlds with the help of this AI. Through the use of reality platforms and technology, users might, for instance, take a 3D hotel tour or investigate the location of the hotel that interests them. Travelers may virtually explore hotel rooms using their 3D digital avatars before making a reservation.
Extended reality (XR)
Augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed reality are all subsets of the metaverse notion known as extended reality. On flat displays, extended reality is used by ZEPETO, Roblox, and Fortnite. Gaming is one of the many businesses that may employ extended reality. There are several case studies that demonstrate the use of translation features, AI-enhanced tools, and AR/VR simulations in educational content. These all utilise enhanced hardware performance. For years, the US Army has employed a virtual reality dome for military training.
2. Artificial intelligence/Machine learning
Artificial intelligence
A resource that may be utilised to build Metaverse Development Services assets is AI technology. These include people, places, and structures, as well as character movements. Future versions of Unreal Engine might have more sophisticated AI capabilities. AI may be used to automate software development, making it easier for users to produce more complex metaverse products. Smart contracts may be audited and secured with AI as well. Without AI, building an interesting, authentic, and scalable metaverse experience will be challenging. Companies like Meta collaborate with think tanks and ethics groups to lessen the risks associated with AI without compromising its potential.
Avatars
One of the most well-liked and fascinating ideas in the metaverse is the idea of an avatar. By examining 2D user photographs or 3D scans, AI can produce avatars that seem incredibly authentic and lifelike. AI is already being used by companies like Ready Player Me to generate avatars for their metaverse.
Digital human
Digital people in the Metaverse are chatbots that react to user activities in virtual reality. It was created with AI technology and is essential to the design of the metaverse. They are user- or player-controlled NPCs (non-player characters).
Language processing
With the aid of AI, which is able to comprehend normal languages like English and turn them into machine-readable forms, users would be able to engage freely in the metaverse. After an analysis, an output or answer is created and provided to you after being translated back into English.
3. Blockchain
The metaverse is built on blockchain, enabling users to visit any digital location decentralised. Six essential metaverse categories — digital proof of ownership, digital value transfer, governance, accessibility, digital collectibility, and interoperability — have all seen success with blockchain technology. Blockchain technology appeals to the metaverse because it provides transparent and affordable alternatives. In the metaverse, it may be used to construct non-fungible tokens, real estate, virtual currency, self-identity, authentication, and real estate. Cryptocurrencies exist in the metaverse and can help build a new online economy.
Blockchain games frequently feature cryptocurrency with verified owners as their assets. For instance, because to their web3-oriented and decentralised features, NFT and crypto tokens are held in the chain in a decentralised way. The game is fully owned and controlled by the players here.
4. Internet-of-things (IoT)
The IoT will enable the metaverse to communicate with and assess the physical world. IoT apps from Metaverse seek to gather and exchange information from the outside environment. Real-time simulations within the metaverse are made possible by the Internet of Things, which can connect many different real-world devices with the 3D environment. IoT might significantly enhance the metaverse environment via AI and machine learning. IoT devices will be able to use Metaverse as a 3D interface. This will provide a customised IoT user experience. With the help of the metaverse and IoT, the globe will be able to make data-driven judgements with no training.
5. Brain-computer interfaces
The metaverse depends on technology for brain-computer interfaces. Users may manipulate avatars and other items with it. Digital transactions can also be managed by user brain signals. The video game and workplace productivity industries are anticipated to be the first to implement this technology. This technology won’t be very important in the early days of the Metaverse Development solution. In the middle of the 2030s, some early adopters could connect with the neocortex through brain-computer interfaces. The cerebral cortex has a region called the neocortex that is in charge of higher cognitive functions.
6. 3D reconstruction
Customers will be able to browse possible new houses online and make judgements without ever having been inside thanks to metaverse 3D reconstruction. By employing 3D reconstruction to build realistic-looking settings with a digital setting that seems as near to the actual thing as possible, it tackles the main issues of the metaverse. With modern 3D cameras, you may make online 3D photorealistic models of structures, places, and other objects. The 4K high-resolution images and 3D spatial data are then electronically sent to computers. They produce a digital replica that users may see in the metaverse. Digital twins are another name for these digital replicas of physical items.
7. 5G
Real-time communication is made possible by the web3 phenomenon known as the metaverse. You’ll need incredibly fast internet connections, bandwidth, and latency to build the metaverse. This is crucial when a user explores expansive virtual worlds with numerous polygons and highly realistic textures. Extremely high millimeter-wave frequencies provided by 5G present prospects for touch-enabled VR and augmented reality (AR) experiences that let users engage in real-time, in-depth dialogues with AI characters. Global reaches might also benefit from roaming capabilities, improved render detail (LOD), simple API binding-in, and developer platforms.
Benefits of metaverse training
Employee training is one of the IT sectors that is evolving most quickly. It is a component of practically every domain, not just IT. A larger variety of learning opportunities are needed for innovative technology. User friendliness, flexibility, and rapid onboarding are the core tenets of sustaining current training software. Due to limited time, staff members must swiftly get ready for their tasks. The finest outcomes from metaverse training are promised for both employees and businesses. The various advantages of metaverse training should be taken into account by employers, not only because it is quick but also because it offers a variety of additional benefits in a changing environment of employee training. The following advantages of the metaverse in the training environment — some of which have previously been utilized — can be had.
Metaverse training can be up to four times faster
Only 1% of the workweek is devoted to training and development for US employees. Employers must thus guarantee that this time is put to good use. In the training for the Metaverse Token Development Company, VR can be quite beneficial. The time it takes to teach anything in a classroom for two hours may be cut in half with VR learning. If you factor in the additional time needed for training preparation and review, virtual learners can learn three times as quickly as classroom learners.
Metaverse learners are more focused
Today’s students struggle with impatience, distraction, and overwhelm. Many students won’t stay focused on a video for the full time. Users are less diverted by VR learning, though. Users with VR headsets may view and experience realistic simulations. There are no alternatives for multitasking or distractions. According to a research, workers who had had VR training were 1.5 times more engaged and four times more attentive during training than their counterparts who had undergone e-learning. When students can fully immerse themselves in virtual reality situations, learning is more effective. Better educational outcomes are the effect of this.
Conclusion
Many businesses employ virtual training software, but not all do so since newcomers must first enter the metaverse, which requires metaverse development. Although this project is taking a while to get off the ground, metaverse development deserves its own niche in the world’s IT services industry. This is why the IT sector will keep looking into new metaverse training options. By 2024, the worldwide metaverse market is expected to be valued over $800 billion. It is a reliable forecast that is worth your money. This metaverse bubble is still being inflated by venture capitalists all over the world. Web3 will eventually pave the way for XR technologies, blockchain, metaverse, gamification bitcoin, and other cutting-edge market solutions, which will provide new chances for remote learning.
