There's such a weird feeling when you see your latest drawing or song or short story, and can't but think that this is your best work yet.

This doesn't mean you think it's perfect. You simply realice that all the abstract "improvement" you're supposed to get "eventually", is not some fairy tale, but something real that's staring you right in the face.
