(1.1/4) ok im gonna cry bc im too lazy to rewrite it again~ i don't think if there's even a single person at this point who doesn't contradict themselves. maybe even eren himself. there's a thread abt eren contradicts himself from twtr. they're talking abt thisscene when eren asked falco to stay&listen to his story with reiner &2, when eren said "I'd be happy if u lived a nice, long life" to falco. here's a few words from them (and sorry i can't just include their @s) :oop but the characters– :(

I only received two parts of your ask so I’m just going to answer this one since it summarizes everything.

As I’ve said before, yes, I believe we are all hypocritical on some level since every extreme contradicts itself and we tend to side with one. But I think there’s a difference between the people who recognize this and those who don’t. Eren is part of the former.

Eren acknowledged how contradictory his actions are with respect to his wishes during his talk with Reiner (“If it was to save the world, well...I guess you didn’t have a choice”). It’s something he struggled with, but he finally understood that it’s inevitable in their situation. So while it pains him and he has first-hand experience with how awful it is, he still needs to do it for that little bit of hope that may lay beyond this hell.

As for the whole Falco thing, there are several possibilities, but what Eren said about him living a long life was just his wish, not his ultimate goal or what is fated to be (just like Sasha was one of the people he wanted to live a long life, but ultimately, fate had other plans for her). He already resolved himself to sacrifice. After all, Liberio was a risk to even his friends.

But I also personally believe he probably already knew Falco wouldn’t die just yet, or that Reiner would likely save him. It just seems weird that he’d want Falco to stay and listen if he knew he was about to die. Perhaps he just knew that Falco had to be there, but didn’t fully understand why until later, when he received more memories.

hey!! (just got 2 mssgs abt this so i thot id kill 2 birds w one stone lol) buckle up bc this is prob gonna b a long one lmao

-sharon has repeatedly and unapologetically done blackface (heres a twtr thread w a pic and her “”excuse””)

-she also tells this story abt being confronted abt her racism and not only manages to still be unapologetically racist AND claim that we need 2 stop picking on sharon and start focusing on the “’’’’real’’’’ racists (which,,,,,what ?) AND be cissexist by saying this abt the person who confronted her:

“there’s this young thing. I call her a “thing” because, you know, I don’t know how to tip-toe around gender rules or queer politics. I’m 30 years old, rich, and famous; I don’t have to deal with that shit anymore, you know what I mean? So we’ll just call them “him”/“her”/“thing,” whatever.”

(she also stated that we’re living in a “post-racial” world which is both wrong and ignorant so wow sharon u killed like 5 birds w one stone u go girl!!!)

-she also made a hitler joke in AUSTRIA a place where idk if u kno but like,,,umm,, the holocaust happened and when called out she said:

“I will always use off-putting humour in my work. What Life Ball did was try to censor me from the media, cut me out of the show, and make it seem like I wasn’t there, which is media manipulation and creating propaganda.”

which is a str8 up non apology and utterly ridiculous that she sees no problem glorifying (even however “””jokingly””” she meant it) a man who used media manipulation and propaganda in order 2 ,,,y’know....,,,kill 6million jews.....

-on that topic shes worn a shirt w a large swastika on it(not the only time, jst the only pic i could find but ppl have mentioned her wearing them at her shows), which made me so uncomfortable as a jew i legitimately can barely look at it, has joked about dressing as hitler, and has worn a confederate flag bathing suit

-she relies on comedy that she calls “”controversial”” which is really just racism. in response to backlash on using the n word on stage AND giving a black fan a signed picture that said “i love you (n word)”, sharon said that its okay to use slurs bc she was also called (completely different) slurs whch makes,,,,, zero sense?? heres an article that has her whole quote &the full story

-even after all the backlash she STILL uses slurs unapologetically, on thurs in a (now deleted) twt, she used the t slur, and still relies on racist comedy (literally just look up any of her shows)

-AND even if she wasnt racist, shes an insanely big dick to fans. shes put out her cigarettes on them (couldnt find the vid bc rip vine), spit on them, and blended their tips with vodka and drank it right in front of their faces just to name a few,,,

TL;DR- sharon needles is a piece of trash
