this is also not a proper post but this spurs vs city match was soooo interconnected in so many ways. city win, spurs lose. so? well city go top and spurs’ historical rivals potentially go 20 years without a title, but not only that, unai emery’s aston villa get UCL football for the first time in 41 years. so spurs losing essentially denies arsenal a title AND the guy they didn’t even give a chance makes history. at the end of the day, arsenal lose ❤️

Has there ever actually been a written published story about an objectum/osor person? Like full on relationship/sexual encounters with an object or a concept but like ... treated seriously? Not just "haha this guy is so into cars he might as well fuck them" or smth, but like, trying to understand what makes the person turned on/attracted to the object/concept? i read there are a couple of movies that treat the topic to a different level of seriousness, and obviously there are the documentaries about ppl marying the Berlin wall and stuff, but like a fictional representation like the Enfermo del futbol (but you know, actually published lmao). Because I would die to see a novel about a sports coach who is actually in a relationship with the stadium, and the stadium ultimately helps him win a trophy or beat the biggest rival or something. Like, no sci-fi or horror of "the object coming to life", no sad angst "oh this poor guy doesn't have a real-life partner that's so sad he's so lonely", just, you know - a guy and his stadium, like Unai and Villa Park.

Unai’s fingers drag down Phil’s skin with even appropriate pressure. His hands feel warm like they should be clammy but they aren’t wet. “Julián touched you without asking.”

finally got to see JJ Guest’s exhibition The Other Team at the Oof Gallery!! I was so excited to learn that Oof were putting on an exhibit about men’s football and homoeroticism. Might be of interest if anybody happens to be interested in men’s footy rpf for similar reasons to why I am (ie., out of curiosity/fascination with gay footballers) (*´ー｀*)

Match Review: Manchester United 3-2 Aston Villa

A WIN FROM 2 DOWN. HØJLUND SCORED. CHRISTMAS MIRACLE ACHIEVED - IT'S BEER O'CLOCK. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa

United are bad for the heart, but when the win comes off they're so good for the soul.

Two first half goals for Aston Villa flattered a flat Unai Emery side who were for most part under pressure from a revitalised United side with Rashford back in the starting XI, Garnacho out at RW, and Eriksen returning to CM. The Dane's control was crucial alongside Kobbie Mainoo in keeping calm, orderly possession and allowing United to build up attacks or to play like Brighton and draw Villa in before playing fast players in behind.

United kept up the pressure in the second half, though with a little extra zip to their play - though some of that came from Diogo Dalot no longer getting in his own way and just playing simpler passes.

Several offside rulings denied a United comeback until finally Alejandro Garnacho, off a Rashford assist, bagged the first of a brace for the young Argentine. Fate suggested a hat-trick, but it was another youngster - Rasmus Højlund - who grabbed his destiny and hit a lovely half volley off a United corner to ping in off the left post and past an outstretched Emi Martinez to give United the win.

It's a big relief for United and Ten Hag to win, but moreso to see goals and an assist for United's best front 3; a frontline that has been repeatedly lambasted by pundits and fans alike for the first half of this season.

Bruno Fernandes spoke on Prime's post-match coverage and said he didn't want to comment on consistency going forward, given United have promised it and repeatedly failed to deliver. Forest and Spurs are up next, so United need to keep up this momentum and play the way they did today - minus the silly mistakes.

With Eriksen back, and hopefully Amrabat fit again shortly, United do have some good depth returning finally. Defence is still a risk, but Evans is having a second wind of his career, Maguire was in form before injury, and Kambwala looked tidy for his debut. It's starting to take shape this season for ETH, just too late for a proper go at the season.

It's worth noting the above tweet too: United continues to stick by its academy and prospects. Things might not be good, but at least Eric is adhering to the club's heritage and ideals. For the most part the younger prospects have shown up their older colleagues, so perhaps we can see more from the likes of Gore, Jack Fletcher, Shea Lacey going forward and real pressure from the academy to the first team squad.

Sa aming pagdalaw sa lugar na ito ay dumagsa ang mga tao sa iba pang mga lugar upang makapasyal sa mala-paraiso nitong ganda. Hindi ko makakaila na hindi lamang sa cebu ang mayroong ganitong tanawin kundi sa Ilocos Sur din! Aking masasabi na sulit talaga ang ilang oras na byahe para sa lugar na ito.

Ilocos Empanada

Ito rin ay isang masarap na pagkain na matatagpuan sa Ilocos Sur. Kami ay nahirapan sa aming paghahanap ng Ilocos Empanada dahil simula ng ito ay umusbong, palagi na itong nauubusan sa mga tindahan. Mahaba man ang pila na aming inantay, sa pagtikim ng empanada na ito ay masasabi ko na sulit ang aming pag-aantay.
