roy has her weird eyesight, and she has kind of the opposite of bax's problem. shes pretty anxious and has trouble acting and making quick decisions. she doesnt really like getting into *serious* trouble (she likes silly stuff and pranks and goofs though), anyways this makes it harder for her to step in when someone needs help.

clam *is* a runaway government android and so basically anything that isnt healing or surveillance is antithetical to what he was programmed for which is bad for everyone. he wants so badly to deviate and cultivate more of an identity but its gotta be just one step at a time, while roy and the others help him reprogram his body and brain bit by bit. which sucks. he wants physical agency Now.

tallys lack of horns and low-ppointing fin rays would land him very low in his home planets sort of caste system. not like. homestuck per se, its less ingrained and more socially enforced. on a dangerous planet where community contribution holds a lot of social weight, being physically weaker, lacking parental skills or instincts, and being kind of selfish on top of all of that made him very. not liked. this is part of the reason kip feels so responsible for him and overly protective.

hes honestly very stable and good at keeping himself together unless He were to be the one hurt and or in trouble ahahaha. he would not handle that. he would go crazy. the thought of being the one to need others makes him ill.

i remember _ used to say that about me, the thing about bpd is for a lot of borderlines, yr symptoms are worse when yr in a relationship, and that was the case for me, i was like. MISERABLE i was crying every day and trying desperately to get any sorta love from him (that wasnt just on me tho, he was so shitty fr) and he used to be like.. wow, you really are just broken and it? ?? my brain at the time would mistake that weird half assed pity for genuine affection cuz he basically kept me tied to him but ? he wouldnt date me or show me affection often unless he wanted to like. do e-rp (which is why i hate that shit so much now SFKJF sad i used to love roleplaying) but he didnt want me to date anyone either like i HAD an option. not a very good one but still and i asked assuming he didnt care about me and the answer would be yes, but no he said he wasnt comfortable with me dating someone else. so HE could date whoever he wanted cuz he wasnt gonna date me, but i couldnt. i told him at the time how unfair that was and he was just like "i know..." like he couldnt give me a solid answer why it was hell cuz he was my FP so i had to listen to him in my head. its so. GUHH he sucked ass im so glad i barely think of him anymore

my bipolar psychotic ass loves jirou: a thesis

i think the most important reason i resonate with jirou so much is bc the way he divides himself is sooooo bipolar in all directions. like genki!jirou is very cheerful but has low self esteem and needs to be validated a lot and canonically (!!!) has induced hallucinations of other people to prop up his mental state. my guy is so fucking frail up there but at the same time he has such a strong grasp on his own personality... it's just that he needs other people to tell him that he's worthy of attention. a sneef sneef whimper he just like me fr

loud!jirou on the other hand is meant to be a contrast by being more aggressive and cold, but honestly? his anger seems to be a result of whenever he loses his reason to be a "hero". [yes i am implying genki!jirou is the more manic coded of the two that boy has delusions the likes i know personally] but i think the reason that most ppl wouldnt read jiroujirou on the whole as bipolar is bc he actually has quite a good expression of a range of emotions?? which is soooo unfortunate bc i have never seen a guy more bipolar in my life.

seeing how jirou goes from trying to place himself in the highest position of the donbrothers with a self righteous attitude [saying kijino should be executed simply bc he failed in the task of not turning into a monster=bipolar splitting and categorizing people as purely good or purely evil and acting like your judgement is better than everyone elses] to trying to act like tarou because everyone likes tarou so if hes tarou too everyone will like him [classic case of if i kill my personality hard enough a new one will break through and be more likeable] to realizing his delusions arent helping him and the one person whos had his back the whole time has been the part of himself that hes been the most frustrated with [all his "unpleasant" and not well managed emotional cage] and just! he made food for himself and didnt know it bc he wished that someone else was caring about him.
