On a completely different note, thinking about Halsin's point 'n click line if you have him pickpocket: "Perhaps I missed my calling as a thief," and this other point 'n click sneaking around line: "Unnoticed? *snickers* Good."

And relating those with no good reason to Halsin's snippy observations in Thorm's tomb : "To seal away that which a person no longer needs is to lessen the Oak Father's bounty for all." And "Such hoarding of wealth. A tomb for riches that could be put to better use [...] This gold may never see daylight again while others go cold and hungry."

Because it brings to my silly little mind Halsin getting to a point of frustration where he's yoinking coin pouches from wealthy elites in Baldur's Gate, "accidentally" spilling the coins on the ground for the refugees and children to take - whoops how clumsy of me - and looming over those same elites with an unsettling, even smile asking if there is a problem if they start screeching about thievery.

It's funny to me that so many people are insistent on "fixing" Astarion. It's not as if he is entirely devoid of sympathy for one, and it is clear that even with his more violent and selfish tendencies traveling with a more good aligned PC, as well as his other more good natured companions, does have a positive effect on him ESPECIALLY when he finds out that he is genuinely CARED FOR. So what is this fixation with "fixing" him? What is broken in him--his sense of self, of personal agency--becomes repaired to a degree organically through conversation and action of the PC, if they so choose. Some people are naturally more selfish and we love them anyway. Some people can't be arsed to bother with grander problems beyond themselves and we still love them anyway. And neither person is any less valid than someone else, but we're always going to be biased based on our own experiences with people and whether or not we know them personally. There's something there, something in that, and it bothers me because it smacks of wanting to change who he is at his core because you like the package but not the whole product. It feels like saying he is only TRULY worthy of love and acceptance when he falls within certain expected and "respectable" social parameters, and that just doesn't sit right with me.

act 3 is so overwhelming 😩 i am kind of lost in which order to do stuff since there are always timed quests that fail after some amount of long rests 🥲

mayrina is STILL pregnant in act 3????? you're telling me we've done ALL this shit in barely any time at all? wasn't she close to having her child in act 1? there's no way we breezed through act 1 and 2 that fast. I could believe the whole game taking place over 9 months. but if mayrina's still not given birth between acts 1 and 3....that would suggest it's only been a month at most, right? which just. makes No sense to me.

Here's a question, would the purple noodle son attempt to have Multiple versions of his hoard boys? Would error have to tell nightmare not to enter another copy of that universe in hopes of not having to deal with multiples of the same sans version?

It’s definitely a possibility for him to hoard copies… but I wouldn’t say he’d attempt to more than it could just accidentally happen. But it won’t no worries!

After Horror, Error probably doesn’t take them to universes much anymore, cuz he can just leave the guardians with their babysitter. I was kind of thinking that Night went looking for another hoard because he was worried Horror was lonely or bored, which led him to Killer. Not the best encounter, but that’s a tale for a later date lmao. Dust would have been an accident somehow I think??? And by that point Error was sick of the mini heart attacks and forbid Night from actively looking for any more.

So I guess technically Error keeps him from getting copies, but he’s more concerned about his son running into more mindless murderers by himself XD
