Something I noticed...

I haven't seen anyone mention this (yet), and I feel like this has angst potential. (Like Mark focuses on his work more than Wallter when they were in the relationship, not caring about the little things that matter. Hence, another reason why they got divorced....Mark doesn't pay much attention to Wallter as much as he hopes. This could be used to show why Mark never got him flowers.)

Pilby doesn't have a canon height so I'm only going off of assumptions here. But the conclusion I came to is that Pilby should be around 4'7 (assuming that regretevator follows the 5'5 height for players)

also deeply sorry to my followers who dislike lampert wallmark family dynamic, i dont see them as family but they have a found family dynamic in my brain, but thats because im aroace and love found family with all of my heart

they arent his parents, lampert met them when he was college aged (and before they got divorced) and views them more as close friends, though lampert sort of looks up to both of them (mostly wallter because mark is a terrible role model, like wallter has his flaws but mark less pros than cells in his wooden brain), lampert is a college dropout and living with mark because mark is chronically lonely and is kind of more like a really annoying older brother who purposefully tries to piss off lampert

lampert likes hanging out in wallter's house because it's very organised and wallter may make a mess but he always makes sure to clean it at the end of the day, also wallter shares his poetry and stuff with lampert and he really appreciates that

BASIC PREMISE

TOR is a dynabloxian, an ancient robloxian race that had been presumed to have gone extinct for about as long as dinosaurs. In this multiverse, death of old age is not a thing, however, robloxians had an exceptionally large fighting culture back in the day that had wiped all dynabloxians out. Wallter is... also a dynabloxian, however he had been preserved in ice when he was rather young and had been uncovered by ro-bio scientists. As such, he is the only modern example of a dynabloxian in the current era. Watch what happens when TOR finds the second surviving member of his people! Regretevator headcanons. for sillies.

world stuff;

the "lobby" is called the ground floor! there is no actual ground floor, but its the closest they got.

all of the characters have places that aren't the place they get on at they can go to, like how poob and pest get on the elevator at the train station. they don't live there or just go there as a job or anything, its just where they go to get "picked up" in a way. exceptions for like those who have some kind of thing to them though - like infected or DRretro.

the elevator in some ways is treated as if an actual transportation method - you can get on for free to go wherever it takes you for fun, but if you have somewhere to be you can pay to get there. its advertised as both.

Wallter's species created grey stuff, and its not meant to be consumed by humans or anything - although its a bit too late for that.

Relationship/Character stuff;

Pest thinks Wallter is an easy target, primarily because of 1. how they're completely clueless when he steals from them, and 2. because they've got a good amount of money. it makes pest care even LESS about his thievery!

Wallter thinks woodworking is overrated, yes, but he originally was just able to let it be an opinionated thing for him. then he got in a few petty arguments with Mark and started having an active... "distaste" towards it (QUEE

Wallter and Poob are friends entirely because they both talk a fuck ton, and both understand eachother over eachothers rambling. don't ask how.

Pest started actually liking Poob a bit when he saw them kill someone. it got worse. kill them both right n

Thank you! Buckle in, because this is gonna be a bit of a ramble.

Mark was my first design and he was fairly easy for me, I wanted to play more into the job aspect since it's an integral part of his character. I knew what I was going for right away!

Wallter was more of a challenge and I didn't consider giving him a design until way later down the line. Even then I knew I had to keep things simple, y'know? I designed these 2 with little to no fandom influence so they're heavily based off my own past and current interpretations of the characters.

This was my first Mark design!

He hasn't changed at all since the updated reference, aside from fixing the colors to be a little easier on the eyes. I considered giving him noise cancelling headphones in the concept stages but ditched them in favor of not cluttering him up with accessories. Over time I leaned more into the country boy idea

My approach to Wallter was waaay different. I knew what I wanted but I couldn't pinpoint it, so I had to stick by a few key words and hope for the best. Tired architect city boy, you get it. I also took a pinch of inspiration from French 1900's fashion and noir movies. A very strict vision to say the least HAHAH. Gotta give credit where it's due, I was inspired to give his scarf a pattern by one of my friend's designs
