I initially wrote a long introspective paragraph on how I feel about drawing new things moving forward, but then I remembered that this is my blog and a great mutual once told me I should do whatever I wanted with my own space.

Tldr: I don’t purely draw pmmm content and cannot guarantee that I will continue to consistently post about it. But if you somehow want to stick around for reasons beyond to me, then feel free to do so. Even if not, that’s fine - may we meet again as fish in the ocean. (*ﾟ▽ﾟ)ﾉ Madokami bless this fandom.

Project Bud Infodump [Part 1 : Pure Vanilla Cookie]

okay so. hopefully I’ve got ur attention. hopefully this doesn’t sound like complete nonsense

anyways!

so yknow how fucking disappointing the shadow milk and white lily scene was? oh wait that was probably just me but I really HATED how rushed it seemed . it made me think. what if shadow milk won? Not that I want white lily dead, I really love white lily… but !! I was still thinking of AU ideas

And I had thought of victory AUs before but. yeah none of them stuck. but then I thought of an eldershadow timeloop AU. Which also didn’t stick! But then I got a little attached to pureshadow. And that’s when . yeah I thought of replacing elder faerie with PV!

so basically . I’m thinking PV makes a deal with Timekeeper Cookie after White Lily dies. Cause yknow Timekeeper saves his life by getting him away from shadow milk.

In exchange for her sympathy, she of course gives PV a job! being Timekeeper, she sends him into the past in order to “fix” the future, AKA trying to stop the beasts from corrupting in the first place . Except she gives PV absolutely NO directions besides the original goal.

Which means PV has to trust his own instincts on how to get to the forgotten academy.

I feel like . this is kinda a battle against fate for PV. Because this old ass man has to figure out how exactly she can . yknow stop the beasts power from taking over their minds . plus he kinda has to disguise as a faerie in order to even TRY and be nonchalant about talking to shadow milk

I’ll expand upon this later, maybe? So far I’m thinking that PV’s feelings towards Shadow milk is still, in the end, mostly resentment. but at the same time, it’s very conflicting for her, because once she gets to know the old shadow milk cookie, it’s like “who the fuck are you.” Because he’s such a different person then 😭

so maybe the corruption finds its way into Pure Vanilla instead? I mean, it wouldn’t be impossible, due to the influence the beasts probably have.. which would mean, in my logic, that the beasts are saved .

but what happens to Pure Vanilla, then ? Would she have to rely on the beasts to stop her? Or would it already be too late?

Idk… I’m still figuring things out .. but that’s kinda like my main idea? yeah hope you enjoyed my rambling somehow ^_^

Someone I otherwise respect a lot just posted this and I’m feeling so hurt right now. Trans women aren’t the only ones being forcibly misgendered by Florida’s policies. The case that was won was even literally about a trans man, Tyler Copeland, who was being horribly harassed with feminine terms and jokes about his transmasculinity. To erase us from this narrative and act as though this only or even primarily affects trans women is just further marginalizing us within our own community. She’s a journalist and will likely write a whole article on it, so I left a comment and am holding out hope she will be more open about how it affects us in the future. It wasn’t intentional harm, I’m sure she just didn’t think about us — but that’s the whole issue. It illustrates how normalized it is to fixate on trans women and leave out other trans folks, both inside and outside the trans community.

Staring at it. When i was going to comment smth in Dramatis Personae i remembered those words right before act one begins. “Five for tradition and debts to the dead;” … debts to the dead? DEBTS TO THE DEAD?? and like. i’m also just staring at the fact that Abigail also did work with spirits, maybe (probably) not in the same way Silas does but i’m just. Staring. (Thank you Jeannemary for the reminder, “And she was a spirit magician. If it was ghosts, why couldn’t she—“ ) I am just staring at all of this. And my beloved bestie is gonna see this and snicker at me because she’s read all of the locked tomb and GTN at least twice so like she knows and i’m just AGH. maybe this is just a “i’ve connected the dots!” “you didn’t connect shit” situation but i am staring. i feel like these little tidbits have to mean something and connect to why Abigail and Magnus are dead. Why they had to die first. Why Canaan House saw the heart of the Emperor dead first. There has to be a reason for that. Because why not kill 6th first? Or 2nd with their military status? Why the 5th? I’m now also staring at the fact Fourth House is “The Hope of the Emperor” and with Fifth dead and given how Issac and Jeannemary are handling the deaths of their teachers… well… I don’t know if I’d be very surprised if something happens with them next. For if there is no Heart then how can there be Hope?

Y’all what if the light realm and the shadow realm aren’t supposed to be closed off to each other and that’s why everything in the shadow realm is so extreme? What if the answer to restoring the Deadwood and solving any other problems we face in this book is opening the rifts instead of trying to close them and letting each entity rejoin with their mirrored counterpart? What if the only reason the Ash Empire is trying to send an army through to the light realm is because there was never supposed to be a shadow realm in the first place? What if The Watcher was the one who divided one realm into two and closed them off to each other the first time?
