I had the pleasure of delivering Baby Thalia's gift myself. The look of surprise on the new dad's face when I presented him with gifts will always be a moment I remember. Years ago my husband helped me create a template for the top of this carousel 🎠 It is made of foam board and cardstock then embellished with coordinating decor. Fun fact: this is the only gift that requires me to use a drill. Happy Tuesday!🤩⁣ ⁣ The branding process, when done correctly, takes a deep dive into the client, the business model (including vision and mission statements), and the goals they have for their business. 🎯A lot of stuff comes out during the discovery process so that we are able to build a brand that not only meets those objectives but more importantly – makes the client so happy they want to shout it from the mountain top. PERIOD.👊⁣ ⁣ We can spend hours and days educating a client about the intricacies and the why’s of a branding concept that is based on the conversations we’ve had but if the client doesn’t get it – they don’t get it and that is OK.💯This is when it’s your job to turn that around with new concepts that the client will get and want to live that brand they hired you to create.🙌 It is not your job to impose your will on a client’s brand. You can educate them until you are blue in face but when it comes down to it if the client is happy – you have done your work.🎉🕺💃 I’d rather have a five-star review from a super happy client, then no review from a client who may have felt trapped by my forceful approach to design.
