October 5 2022 my husband @whiteboyradio and I were walking around the neighborhood observing all of the hurricane damage, just as we have many mornings before. All of a sudden we walked past a large pile of brush and heard squealing. Immediately I rushed over to the pile and I looked helplessly at my husband and then back at the pile and started digging. My husband rushed over and helped me move things around until we located a baby squirrel. Normally squirrels are born in groups of 2 to 4 babies so we kept looking, sadly we didn't not find anymore babies. I quickly grabbed this little one and put her in my bra to get her warm. I pray she was an only child and we did not overlook her nest or siblings
