Hello! I go by Willow. I've wanted to get more into this fandom for a while so I figured now would be a good time. I love Haunted Mansion (both the rides and the movies) and I've started simping for Hatbox Ghost, so here I am lol

With that being said this blog is mostly for one shots. Or simping. Probably both. I'm mostly gonna write for - you guessed it - Hatbox. Starting off I'm probably gonna mostly write for Alistair Crump/movie version but I'd like to be able to write for both him and ride Hattie eventually. They're both fine lmao. the thing that i REEEEAAALLY love about the relationship between cr campaigns and cr animated series is that like. the animated show covers all the huge dramatic, important moments. and usually that’s how animated story-driven shows go. the pacing is pretty fast, because there’s only so much you can do with 20 minutes at a time. BUT. instead of having to turn to fanfiction to get the slower, drawn-out, character-driven content... you can just. watch the campaign itself.

like if i had seen tlovm before anything else critical role, i would’ve been Overjoyed to know that there’s literally hundreds more hours i can spend with those characters to flesh them out more and get even more attached to them. it’s just a very special kind of multimedia relationship they’ve developed here that supports each other’s strengths and weaknesses really well and i just think it’s Neat :>

the vees take up such a unique antagonistic role in hazbin. they're so silly and pathetic except in specific bursts of competence. but even those moments are overshadowed by the way they just brute force everything. vox lost his own diss track against alastor. velvette didn't even do anything with the information she gathered at the overlord meeting. the more valentino lashes out like a child the more he loses control of angel. the person they picked to infiltrate the hotel ended up becoming its very proof of concept. they sung gleefully about the power vaccuum created by alastor's absence only for alastor to reappear 30 seconds later. what are they even doing. they're like an extremely unhinged team rocket
