Summary: Brienne spent one incredible weekend with hockey superstar Jaime Lannister, only for him to break her heart when it was over. Four years later, she's moved on with her life and made a name for herself as the lead choreographer for one of the hottest shows on television--Lip Sync Battle. The last thing in the world she wants is for the show's creator to announce that he's pursuing Jaime to be one of the contestants.
Things I Love: Brienne and Jaime’s voices and characterisations, Brienne the choreographer, the setup of the story, this iteration of Jaime and Ned’s long-standing feud, Jaime and the Flea Bottom kids, social media in fic, the Jaime and Starkling social media snarky conversation, the rhythm of the writing.

Summary: In 252, king Aegon V Targaryen decides to name prince Duncan as his heir once again. This decision will have long-term consequences for the kingdom and the royal family.
Things I Love: This sort of premise where Duncan and Jenny are set to inherit the throne, interesting, twisty political and interpersonal connections, Alysanne and her sweet flower crowns, the conversations, the quick whip of short chapters, Genna Lannister.
marvel at flowers you’ll have made by jellyb34n @nossbean (5,398 words, first posted 5 Jan 23, last update 24 Jan 23)
Summary: Since Jaime and Brienne were last together, the world has fallen apart and is starting to come together again. Going north to check in on the Winterfell settlement gone mysteriously dark, they travel a Westeros whose people are making sense of life when the dead walk, when flowers are used as protection against them, and where some don't care for the gentler approach. Brienne and Jaime navigate their own fractured history, the things they've done when apart, and discover that hope continues to grow between them, even after hurt, distance, and an apocalypse.
Things I Love: The sweet tension and pain between them, Jaime’s humour, the flowers, the world building, Brienne and the children, the history simmering between them, the way Brienne sees Jaime.
On the Breaking (and Keeping) of Oaths by auntie_social (2,620 words, first posted 2 Jan 23)
Summary: A masked man in a blue top hat has been orchestrating broken betrothals in King's Landing's high society for years. Though women throughout the ton had him to thank for their rescue, when Jaime Lannister begged for him to help his sister his pleas were coldly rejected. Jaime has long harbored thoughts of revenge, but when he finds himself forced into an unwanted betrothal there's only one man who might be able to help....
Things I Love: The world building, arranged marriage, the hero of the women throughout the city, highborn and smallfolk alike, the tone and pacing of the writing, the building thrill of the plot.
