klance flowershop au story headcanons! (+ art) 🌷🌿

--------------- • so lance works at Blue's Florist right? and every thing is peachy as heck until he notices just down the street, a new business is opening up in one of the vacant spaces • obviously lance is curious as to what the new shop is, and a few weeks later, lo and behold, it's another flowershop! • so he's kinda ticked off. why ANOTHER florist? I mean, sometimes it gets way too hectic in here with so many orders, but we're the best florist in town!

• they're gonna steal Blue's customers!! nooo!! • so, two days after opening, he decides to give this new shop, Black Cats, a little visit • as soon as he opens the door, he realizes something • this place, it's a flowershop for sure, but the atmosphere is completely different • it's more wooden (if that makes sense), and smells of pine and and forest wood • lance spots the employee at the counter, and boy oh boy, he's about to receive a piece of his mind • lance, reading the tag on the employee's shirt: hey KEITH! before you opened, did you happen to even take notice of the flowershop right in front of you?? and you had the nerve to open one of your own! • keith, already tired of this guy:  first off, i just work here. you can talk to my brother shiro, the owner, if you really have a problem. and two, why do you care so much? • lance:  why do I? WHY DO I CARE? dude, your brother is gonna run us out of business!! • keith: well from what i know, our two shops are pretty different, so i don't think that's gonna happen. • lance: but-! • keith: and you're causing a scene, so please leave • lance, realizing there are a couple customers watching the dispute already: fine! but don't think this is the end, mullet boy • none of them lose business, everything is fine • in the end, lance makes it a regular thing to go over to Black Cats just to spite keith • the thing is, keith actually enjoys it and at first, he never shows it, but through time, it seems the two of them become pretty good friends • oh sorry did i say good friends? i meant • boyfriends • sometimes lance uses his own money to buy flowers from Blue's just to give them to keith • and keith keeps and tends to every single one of them • keith also names them • there's terry, winsdor, olive, etc • lance, whenever he stops by Black Cats: hey how's winsdor doing? • keith: good :) he's looking a little dry though. i think it's the changing of the season. • lance: aw yeah makes sense • and they flirt. all the time. like out in the open • shiro put a working hours flirting ban on both of them. the customers do not need to see that
