back on my bullshit (meeting men im in love with). Ben Schwartz is so kind and tall :-) I didn’t totally freeze like when I met the Jonas brothers but the selfies we took are blurry so 😔

What is a headcanon I have about this character?

Kind of a minor one, but I imagine at one point shortly before the story's start, Amiya had to organize and stage an intervention for her on account of her workaholic habits and Rhodes Island's smaller staffing at the time. One of the rules that was agreed upon was a reduction in her intake of coffee to stay awake for unhealthily long stretches of time, in the hopes that would encourage her to get more sleep. Instead, she got around that by using other stimulants, until those were also banned in a followup meeting.

Finally, she resorted to summoning and retaking Mon3tr; even if she's used to the extreme pain of her spine wrenching itself out of her body to transform into an eldritch beast, it's still intense enough to give her a shot of adrenaline to keep going for a while, even if far from an ideal solution. Between her performance noticeably slipping during this stretch, and the debatable case of intentional self-harm that can't be justified like the kind of circumstances that normally require Mon3tr's presence, Amiya finally relented and let her get back to unrestricted coffee usage.

Amiya didn't give up, though, and still instituted a curfew that took effect after 24 hours of being awake, only being pushed back if Kal'tsit is in the midst of a time-sensitive surgery or other emergency when that time expires. Kal'tsit of course does her best to exploit this loophole as well, sometimes getting to a full three or four days if she times it right, but is able to do this less frequently on the whole. She still doesn't get nearly enough sleep for how much time she spends awake, but it's a modest but respectable step up from the state she was in before, and a marked improvement from how she was during the Mon3tr-summoning adrenaline-boost era.

A text I sent my friend as I spiraled (haha jk) over vampolitics regarding vague plotlines about a multi-chapter suckening fic that diverges after episode 4 and explores an au in which Edward's plotline doesn't play out quite like it did and there's other plays for power alongside his own and what if some key events still happened but, like, a little to the left and within the context of this slightly altered version (an au if you will) and what if the twins and Gref went with Arthur to London and found more and what about that guy Uncle Lazarus huh something up with him and what if the twins leaned more into their royal status and did something with it (or tried to in a more concerted effort) and Mary Davis will be there (mirror Mary sorry this is after ep 4) and obviously Vex & Viv and what if there's a touch more domesticity cuz I'm a fool for that and what if Gref realizes he's been manipulated and they have to confront this and it's messy and awful and necessary and there's layers guys layers and what if I just speculate and make up lore for the stuff that will probably be answered in season 2 anyway hm and what if and what if—

it self selects for people who actually play the game. it’s canon that he’ll fight off transphobes with the blade. and if they actually played guilty gear they’d get the underlining messages

While it can be really funny to bully these guys back, please keep in mind that nothing you can say or do to these people will hurt them or waste as much of their time as what they say will stick with you or waste your time. It might be funny to send them a bunch of Ky pictures, but what they're doing is laughing that the only response the people they hate can give them is sending a bunch of pictures of anime boys.

The only thing that works is blocking them. They've turned being an asshole into a recreational sport and getting any sort of response in return is a victory for them.

i don't quite know how to put it into words because i still feel so very small and stupid at times and like i've never really grown up at all and stuck even though i know that's not true and i'm someone i never thought i would ever be but like... being told by someone that i'm their role model or being told by my baby cousin (she's going to college in the fall, where did the time go??) that she chose her major because it was what /i/ did and that she's always admired me growing up, people telling me to my face that they got their bipolar diagnosis and that seeing me live my life the way i do gave them hope like. i. i don't know, i guess on some level i never really let go of that brittle helplessness/hopelessness inside me and honestly i don't think i'm ever worth the praise or the attention or the time or the love or the whatever people give me even now but it's like...maybe my little space here on this blog or in the world or even just traipsing through my usual haunts are worth it if it means that i'm of some service, that i can see some spark of recognition in someone's eyes. it's the feeling of a hand against mine in the dark when for so long all i felt was nothing but air. or whatever you know.

#idk. just ruminating after my last manic/depressive episode earlier lol.#i feel more stable and grounded than i have in months which is nice and i'll hold on to it for as long as i can but there's just...#something about people wanting to be like you when you never wanted to be you and when you wanted to be anyone else but you.#like. why would you want that? why would you want to fashion yourself after me? but i did that myself. i built myself up little by little #and even when im worn down it's easier going to rebuild time and time again. maybe that's all we can do for each other here where we #are. let's continue to reach out and hold each other tight. love you guys. thank you for always listening to me. i hope i'm just as good a #listener back. 💌🫶#on another note my role model has always been my halmoni bc she's scary as hell and she's the strongest person i know lol
