Even tho Karl is a carnotaurus and Sapnap is a triceratops their relationship is very weirdly fun and absolutely not a disastrous chaos.

Due to Sapnap having some rare fire abilities that makes him a living giant horned furnace and a ticking flamethrower he also has a very high temper and anger issues (Triceratops naturally have anger issues since forever). Karl on the other hand, with being a very fast runner (and lacking functional hands), he has the ability to camouflage at will and mood just like a cuttlefish!

When Sapnap and Karl first met as children Sapnap has never seen a theropod with tiny horns and extremely tiny wiggly arms, so he was very confused about the other. Karl on the other hand was fascinated to see a triceratops being about to shoot fire from it's horns specially when they're known to be cold-blooded.

It started as a weird awkward friendship but it slowly deepened. With Dream always at Puffy's side whenever she goes and George still the wild forest child he was, Sapnap and Karl had more time to learn about each other.

Sapnap learned about the blood market from Karl. Which is a market where carnivorous, omnivores and even some herbivores here and there visit to buy sell and consume archosaurs and marine reptiles flesh. (In the outside world the only source of meat to eat legally-ish is mammals, fish and criminals-). Sapnap was pretty much disgusted when seeing Karl eat a diablosaurus thigh lmao.
