Found in the basement…. Gaby Grapelina from MGA’s Soda Pop Girls and her pet, Mimi Mango Calico. This is a little-known franchise that didn’t really take off. This doll was kept up high on a bookcase in my childhood bedroom, so she’s still in great condition lol. Her rubber hair bands cracked so I replaced them with new ones. Both scents are still very strong thanks to the bottle cases, which were also a great way to prevent losing the accessories! And the grape purse has lip gloss inside. She’s Princess Sodastream to me now due to the bottles looking similar.

next are the whiffies! from the blind bag 2 pack I got stra-better ice cream and banana bryne. from the 3 pack I got gabby graham, marni mallow, and cocoa carly. together those 3 make up s'mores! their names correspond to their scents. one of the gimmicks is being able to twine their tails together, so I did that with the s'mores whiffies. I also took a pic of my collection so far.

the whiffies scent grows fainter over time, but I think their designs are really cute and the naming schemes kinda remind me of yummiland dolls, specifically the soda pop pets. those were some of my fav toys, so that nostalgia makes me like these more. if I was younger and still played with toys I absolutely would've loved these and probably would've played with them with my soda pop pets.

decided to tackle doll hair instead of my own tonight! this is cherry cola, originally "sherry black cherry cola". she's a yummiland soda pop doll in surprisingly good condition considering how much I loved her. once again, I've chopped my doll's hair, as it initially went all the way to her toes which is,,, just too much,,,

I forgot to take "before" pics but because I remember so much about the brand, I found her original packaging and all (for $70!) on ebay.

I still have most of the accessories (not the original bottle, I'm afraid), but I couldn't tell you where... I really hope to find her gold pants and her cute rollerblades. in the meantime I think I'm gonna cut up a sock and make her a sweater dress or something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

#mine #my doll cherry cola #i hated her dress bc the straps were too long and i was certain her chest was exposed #no nips or bump so i couldn't ever be sure but looking at it now i'm p confident that it's indecent #also even tho i knew exactly what doll it was this wasn't one of the popular ones so it was super frustrating finding pics #i recently watched a doll custom vid that made shoes out of polymer clay over papier-mache which i might copy #i don't know if we have polymer clay but i can improvise #whenever i get the supplies (not any time soon unfortunately) i want to repaint her face #it looks creepy intense #obligatory fruit tag #yep it's going on that tag #just initially tho #unless I make smth cherry specific for her #also ik most of my dolls I didn't ever consider a sexuality but this one's gay #I knew that the moment I took her out of the bottle that she'd be Cool and Tough and always be next to a Cute Girly Girl #didn't know why I wanted that #but oh boy #my dolls #from my trinket horde
