Notes: This wasn't supposed to happen yet but I'm working on several chapters at once so this got posted first due to timing. This chapter was meant to go last. (besides I'm not going to pretend that most of you didn't just come here for this guy. I just want to get this over with.)

Malleus

"The Hero"

Grimm wasn't the most social of the kids but he was finally learning how to play with others. From what the child development book says he had a rich imagination and took part in imaginative play with others. He had even shown interest in things like singing and dancing with other kids.

But when art time came Grimm looked upset and yelled at another girl. Yuu had to apologize to the girl and her father. They had an argument which caused Grimm to lose his temper. He wouldn't say what it was about either.

When it was time to go Grimm waited by the car and stared at the crumpled drawing he made in his hands.

"Do you want to talk about what happened?" Yuu asked helping Grimm into his car seat.

Grimm shook his head.

Yuu nodded and decided to leave it alone.

When they got home Grimm went to his room without much fuss. Even bathtime was quiet without his usual crying.

When it was time for bed Grimm still clutched the paper ball.

"Mama?" He asked for her while he was deep in thought.

"Yeah, sweetie?" Yuu pulled the covers over him.

"Where is our family?" Grimm unfurled the pater to reveal a drawing of her and him in crayon.

Yuu's voice was caught in her throat. She wanted to wait until he was older to explain this.

"We are a family." She said simply.

"But Erinn said that families were big like hers. A mommy, daddy, sister, brother, grandma, and grandpa. But I only have a Mommy." Grimm asked confused. "I told Erinn that I only had Mama and she said that we weren't a real family without that. So I got mad."

Yuu knew she had to control her emotions and try to explain but it was getting hard.

"We are a family. All the family we need. Erinn is lucky and has a big family already and she doesn't understand what other families look like." Yuu said stiffly "I'm sorry if I'm not enough. If I could, I would give you the family you deserve but I'm only one person."

Yuu quickly finished saying goodnight before retreating to her room. Tears of frustration blinded her.

It wasn't her fault.

She wanted a family too.

Ever since she returned to her world and old life she had tried to find her place. Friends and family were happy to see her again but they had moved on after years of her absence. Everything familiar was now strange. Then came the questions about where she was and what happened. She couldn't answer, no one would believe her. They turned on her with suspicion and called out her lies. News media caught wind and police had questions as well. Everyone wanted to know but she had no answers.

Rumors were everywhere and even the people who trusted and wanted to help Yuu had mud slung their way. She did what had to do to protect them and left. She escaped as far as she could to a place where no one knew her. She wrote her books in solitude and kicked out everyone who tried to profit from her newfound fame.

Conspiracy theorists and true crime fans still hounded her but she had a life where she could be in relative peace.

She had a son now and could live a normal life. Wasn't that enough? Can't she live her life?

Yuu cried for herself, for her son, for their future.

"Are you sure we shouldn't wait until tomorrow, your Majesty? Yuu may be asleep by now." Silver asked pushing aside the foliage with a ball of light he cased in the other.

"Of course, my child of man has always stayed up late in the night. She is undoubtedly awake." Malleus said proudly leaving Sebek and Silver to clear the way. Trails of Will o'-Wisps marked their path to find their way back.

Lilia flew above the group as he enjoyed the scenery. He seemed even more relaxed these days. Silver and Sebek had finally taken over their roles as captains of the royal guards. Malleus was firmly established himself as the ruling king and let his dear grandmother retire to her castle on the coast. She was certainly enjoying the sun in her scales.

Malleus had been hard at work revitalizing his kingdom. Bringing his kingdom into the current Era took effort but he had reached out to Shroud's heir for his assistance. Now the youth of his kingdom had new jobs to look forward to and new citizens had begun to move into their land. Malleus had also reached out to over classmates and found their help invaluable.

Kingscholar and Viper had been invaluable political partners and expanded trade between their lands. Rosehearts had joined him in laying out new laws compatible with technological developments. Ashengrotto had great knowledge of how to take advantage of natural resources in the area. Schoenheit offered assistance in starting an entertainment business hub like filming to take advantage of the vista.

Malleus had developed strong friendships with each of them but none of them could compare to the one that changed his life. Something they all agreed on.

"This place is so nice. So many stars but you can still see the city lights in the far distance. Are we close to the shore?" Lilia couldn't wait to visit another world and go touring with Yuu. His boys may be reserved to just seeing her but he had plans.

"The terrain is dangerous. It's rocky and likely has many dangerous creatures lurking about. How that human can stand being so much peril is beyond me." Sebek huffed.

Silver shook his head and ignored his co-captain.

As the group journeyed through the forest they noticed a small sound break up the buzzing of cicadas. Small sniffles and whimpers echoed and wrapped around the trees.

Lilia as if sensing a child's distress told the group to be quiet as he tracked down the whining.

Tucked into a hollow at the base of a tree a small boy huddled with a stuffed cat clutched to his body for dear life. The poor child cried for no one but himself.

As the group got closer they lit up wisp light around the area. The soft light alerted the boy as he drew closer.

"Hey, there. What are you doing out here so late?" Lilia crouched down to the boy's level to not scare him. "You should be at home."

The boy shook his head.

"You're parents are probably looking for you." Silver said.

"I can't. I'm bad." The boy rubbed his red puffy eyes.

"You're bad?" Malleus asked holding out his hand to Silver who immediately grabbed Sebek and grabbed a handkerchief from the half-fae's pocket. He then gave it to his king.

Lilia took the handkerchief and held it up to the boy's nose and told him to blow his nose. (Crying gets very messy with kids his age and makes it hard for them to breathe with clogged sinuses. Not mention kids have a hard time blowing their nose on their own at a young age.)

The boy wrinkled his face as Lilia cleaned his stuffy nose with practiced ease. The boy tried to weakly fend him off the same way any child does when you try to clean a smudge off their cheek with your thumb. Once he was freed and cleaned up he finally responded.

"I'm a bad boy. I made Mama cry. She said cus of me." He said remorseful.

"Why don't you just say sorry then?" Sebek said tactlessly.

Silver elbowed him and the crocodile shrugged with an expression that said 'What do you want me to say! I'm right!"

"Because I always make Mama cry. Mama is always sad. So I'm going back so I can't make her sad again." He said defiantly.

He was going to help his mother even if he wasn't going to be with her.

"Where are you going?" Malleus asked kneeling beside Lilia.

The boy looked that Malleus's horns with wonder.

"Mama found me here in these woods. But she told me a story of a dragon that lived far in the woods. The dragon was nice and helped the lost princess so I want to find him and ask him to help Mama." The boy sounded really proud of his plan.

"A quest. What a brave boy you are." Lilia ruffled the boy's hair. The boy tried to dodge but failed.

"Hey, are you the dragon?" The boy asked pointing at Malleus's horns.

"I'm a dragon-fae. The king in fact." Malleus responded.

"And you can help my Mama? With your magic? Can you take her nightmares?" The boy asked pleading.

"I will try to help if you lead us to her." Malleus wanted to see Yuu again but he knew he had to help this child first. Reuniting this family was more important right now than petty wants.

Yuu couldn't sleep. She just needed the check. Maybe she was excessive but she just worried. Almost every night she would cheak on Grimm, just in case. She just need to see he was alive and breathing.

Some times she just had nightmares where he...

The parenting manuals said that this was perfectly normal. Her fears were natural and these impulses were a product of evolution and prevention of S.I.Ds.

Wait is there a cut-off point for S.I.Ds? Could Grimm still get it?

Yuu took a deep breath, she just needed to see him.

Yuu opened the door quietly to find...an empty bed.

"Grimm?" Yuu called out.

She began checking the bathroom in case he needed to go potty...nothing.

She checked the kitchen in case he wanted water...nothing.

The living room, The study, her bedroom, the attic, the garage

Nothing, nothing , nothing, nothing, nothing, NOTHING!

Yuu searched everywhere as she rushed outside and called for him. Soon the hysteria kicked in as she banged on her neighbors' doors. Frantically she gathered people to help her find her son.

The group was no less enthusiastic to help as they treated the boy like a little hero on a quest. Unfortunately, this hero was very tired and needed to be carried by the dragon king. Lilia was desperate to have his turn but the bat was way too energetic right now.

Lilia was secretly praying that Yuu lived with children so he could play with them.

Grimm was fascinated with Malleus. He studied the dragon's horns, eyes and fangs.

"Mama said the dragon was best friends with the lost princess. Is that true?" Grimm asked touching Malleus's sharp ears.

Malleus let the boy explore as he thought of a response.

"I cared deeply for a friend who was far from home. She was my best friend."

"What was she like? I like the princess most." Grimm said cheerfully.

"The princess, I mean she was beautiful like any princess. But she was better. She was kind and selfless. She made friends everywhere she went." As Malleus said this little fingers pulled at his lips to get a better look at his teeth.

"She's so cool. I wish I could meet her."

Malleus quickly handed the child off to Sebek. Sebek received no better treatment as the boy pulled on his ears and cheeks. He has pincer-like fingers and speed.

Lilia laughed. Silver was the same way.

Sebek practically tossed Grimm to Silver to deal with. Sliver was fine with Grimm but Lilia's silent pleading made him hand the boy over.

Almost immediately Grimm was asleep as Lilia rocked the boy to sleep. The group sighed in relief.

"So," Sliver spoke up only for a chorus of 'Shh' to stop him. He was just going to ask about the stuffed cat that looked exactly like Grim. Or the fact that his name was Grimm. Just him? Okay.

But the blissful silence didn't last as sirens and shouting were heard.

"Grimm?! Grimm?!" Voices shouted as groups of people searched for the boy.

Safe to say his mother was looking for him.

The group managed to dodge the cops as the found a familiar young woman still wrapped in her night clothes shouting Grimm's name. Bright searchlights haloed around her.

"Yuu?!" Malleus called out as soon as he saw her.

The woman squinted to see through the lights before she gasped. She quietly scrambled through the foliage. She had trouble due to still being in her house shoes, she couldn't even think of changing when her son was missing.

"Mal?" She called trying to see if she was hallucinating.

"Malleus please, you have to help me. My son, he's gone." Yuu begged her hand clutched over her chest.

Malleus didn't know how to respond at first. No words would help. The only thing to ease her is her child.

Lilia came forward and handed the sleeping boy back into his mother's arms.

Yuu's eyes lit up with unimaginable joy like finally breathing after unending suffocation. She fell to her knees as she held him close to her.

"My baby. My sweet baby." She mumbled pressing kisses to his head as tears of relief flowed down her cheeks. "Thank you. Thank you."

The situation took time to clean up as everyone was alerted that Grimm was found. Everyone sighed in relief and returned home. Except for that crotchety old woman next door. Yuu would expect a strongly worded letter soon.

The reunion wasn't what anyone expected but Yuu was no less grateful to her friends.

When they explained the situation, Yuu's eyes dimmed.

"I see, it's my fault." She sighed.

"He was just trying to help you. He doesn't know any better." Sebek rolled his eyes.

"That's the point. He's a child, he doesn't know any better. It's my responsibility not to make him feel responsible for my emotions. He should never see his mother cry. I tried to hid it." Yuu berated herself.

"Yuu, from one parent to another you need to hear this. It's hard, it's always going to be hard, but you're doing great." Lilia said gently pulling Yuu into a hug.

All the stress she had been carrying since she assumed her role as parent bubbles to the surface. All this time she had been carrying the heavy weight of expectations and constantly questioned herself. Everytime she got something wrong she panicked. Every crying fit and scraped knee she blamed on herself. Judging herself based on every parenting manual and blog she read. It all came to the surface.

She felt like she was going to break into pieces.

Suddenly another pair of arms wrapped around her then another and reluctantly another.

This was what she needed. Reassurance.

"Who dares intrude upon my lair." Lilia cackled wrapped in a black blanket.

"I do! Grimm the dragon prince!" Grimm stood proudly over Sebek's(slain in battle, r.i.p) body with a plastic sword in hand.

Grimm had taken to wearing a pair of fake ram horns and pretending to be a dragon recently.

Yuu raised an eyebrow as she drank her tea.

"If you wish to save the princess you must face my minions!" Lilia said waving a hand and sending Silver out to duel with the boy.

"Don't worry! I have my own minions! Go dragon king!Save the princess!" Grimm said sawing his hand this time.

Yuu snorted and held back her laughter as she looked up from her notepad.

Malleus of course assisted as he pretended to battle Lilia.

"Mal are you a king or a minion?" Yuu laughed.

"Are you a princess or are you just wearing a cone hat?" Malleus retorted.

"You've become more sassy with age. Now hurry up and save me." Yuu pouted taking off the pink cone hat.

Malleus picked up Yuu in a princess carry as Grimm cheered.

"My heros~" Yuu giggled as she wrapped her arms around Malleus's neck.

"Where too now my dear princess?"Malleus asked.

"To the study my stead!" She shouted.

Sebet tried to say something before Silver kicked him from their downed position.

"I'm a stead now, am I?" Malleus teased as he carried her off.

Grimm payed no mind. Grandpa Lilia said that they need space. The boy instead leapt onto his uncles who grunted as the air was forced from their lungs.

Upstairs Malleus placed Yuu on her desk chair as she began typing out her new book.

"Finally designed on a name for it?" Malleus asked resting his head on her shoulder.

"Yep, The Lost Prince and the Dragon King"

"Hmm, I like it."

Anyway I was hoping for a request …… I have long hair and it fun to do styles with it so I thought I’d ask you ….

So reader has long hair and noticed they could make little horn with their hair. Kinda like pig tails but horns????? If that makes sense

Malleus noticed throughout the school day but doesn’t say anything until their late night walk.

They(reader) smiles and tell him that she wanted to try new hairstyles and remember this hairstyle reminded them of him.

Just good feelings for everyone!

I really have no excuse for how incredibly long this took to write but this was a cute idea to write and I wanted to try out this hairstyle but I’m not nearly skilled enough. Anyway, anon🐸 I hope you like it and that you and your sister have a great new year!

I know you can go big with this type of hairstyle but I got inspired by Anya’s cute do from Spy x Family. Also (somewhat) in time for Malleus’ birthday so yay!

I might be busier since I’m celebrating the Lunar New Year (which involves a lot of cooking) but happy Lunar New Year to everyone and may this year be lucky and filled with great fortune!

Throughout the day, you’ve gotten comments about your new look. Some were compliments (courtesy of mostly Kalim and Rook), and some were just itching for a hit from you (mainly Ace and Floyd). But even with the straightforwardness of your friends, it didn’t stop your instincts from telling you that someone else is watching you, wanting to tell you something.

And you’d be right.

During lunch, Malleus was watching you from his seat some tables away. Seeing as how he is the only student with horns (not to mention, he finds himself gazing at you a few too many times already), Malleus was quick to notice your new appearance. Two cute “horns” protruding from your head caught his eyes as the rest of your locks curl and frame your beautiful face.

“Malleus, if you stare at the prefect any longer you might burn a hole” Lilia joked as he watched his young prince. A few of the other students quiver at Malleus’ gaze and wondered what great misdeed you must have committed to incur such an intense stare.

“Please Lilia, even I’m aware that humans are not such fragile creatures” Malleus rebutted as he continued his observation. “What do you think was the human’s intentions for such an unique change in appearance?”

Since he noticed your hairstyle, Malleus’ mind was in a tizzy trying to figure out what did you mean to do such a thing? Are you imitating him the same way as Sebek does with his forced interest in coffee? Were you attempting to capture his attention as some sort of human ritual he’s unfamiliar with? He has heard that couples participate in this “matching outfits” as Lilia mentioned in passing. Was he being too hopeful or too presumptuous to believe you are sending him a hint of your intentions?

Oh, how equally captivating and confusing you were.

“In times like this, it is better to confront your confusion than to jump to conclusions, my young lord” as funny as it was, Lilia couldn’t bear to see the young prince in his frazzled mental state (even if he was the only one to see it) any longer.

Such young love, Lilia mused.

Malleus took the older fae’s words to heart and waited by the old Ramshackle dorm to see you. Nights like these became a secret routine between the two of you as you stroll around the dark landscape together.

To his delight, Malleus heard your footsteps as you rushed out the old dorm and towards him.

“Tsunotarou!” You greeted him with a small, with your mini horns still in place. “Were you waiting long?”

Malleus shook his head, a small smile graced his lips. “Not at all, Child of man” if you don’t consider an hour long. He doesn’t. “Shall we start our stroll?”

The night was pleasantly silent and the breeze was light as the two of you walked through the plains, with the occasional small tidbits of your day shared between you two, to which Malleus took as a lead-in to ask the question he’s been curious all day.

“I’ve noticed you’ve changed your typical appearance today” Malleus started off “Is there a particular reason?”

He noticed! You were starting to get nervous over the silence from Malleus about your new hairstyle, worrying that he didn't care or worse, it may come off as mocking towards him.

“I had some extra time this morning and thought about trying this hairstyle,” you explained, smiling as you lightly touch the locks that make your horns. “I reminded me of you and thought it’d be cute if we matched”

You bravely turned to look at the tall man, trying to gauge his reaction to your new look. But Malleus was unreadable to you even as his eyes bore into you, more precisely, your “horns”.

"Does it look good?" you asked but you were starting to worry he didn't.

Thankfully, that wasn't the case at all. In fact, Malleus was trying to pace his heartbeat after listening to your explanation. What a bold human you are in wishing to emulate his horns, a feature that he is aware can be intimidating to many people. And to do it with him in mind, more charming words have not been spoken.

“Such a creative use of one’s hair. It is a fascinating form of style” Malleus let his curiosity take over and asked you, “If you allow it, I would like to touch them”

Relieved, you nodded with a mischievous laugh, “I’ll allow it, but I can’t guarantee what will happen to you if you do”

“What a cheeky human you are.” Malleus chuckled. He reached out to the top of your head and caressed the soft “horns” you carefully crafted, mindful of his fingers so as not to ruin your hard work. The moment was done in comfortable silence as you stood relaxed, trusting yourself under Malleus’ gentleness.

Malleus’ mind began drifting to the days where his horns were small like yours. He recalled Lilia regaling the tales of Malleus’ younger years and as humiliating as that was, he now wondered if his children would have horns like these, so small and adorable.

As the future King, he knew that he would have to sire an heir someday but he never spent a moment to visualize that image. But now, he couldn’t stop himself as he thought how cute his child would be with horns like these, along with other features from you. How cute his offspring would be with your bright eyes or your beautiful hair that you would brush as their parent. Perhaps they would have your laugh as well. In fact, he would be content even if they don't look anything like him, so long as they're your child, and his.

“Tsunotaro?” Your voice broke through his wandering mind. “Are you alright?”

Malleus didn’t realise that he stopped his previous attention to your hair as his mind delved deeper into thought. He also didn’t notice the small growl he emitted under his breath, but you certainly did.

“Yes, I’m alright” he assured you “I was simply lost in thought for a moment”

You believed him since you did see the way he had a faraway look in his green eyes. His gaze was still in the moment but there was a sense of wistfulness as he looked at you, which had you a little flustered.

To ease your embarrassment, you took a step back (though you already missed Malleus’ touch) and smiled your nerves away. “Should we keep going with our walk?”

Malleus agreed, resuming his stroll with you. But his previous thoughts have not left as he grew fond of the idea of children, more specifically children with you. As you shared the events of your day, Malleus was pondering on what he could do to match you as you did.

Yuu is a Rabbit-Diasomnia

Malleus

he gladly looked after his friend, even if he wasn´t really the best at it I mean he meant well but forgot that yes even if they are actually a Human but now physically a Rabbit they kinda can´t eat Ice Cream or at least shouldn´t eat it

also he somehow managed to forget them which was weird because he never let them out of his sight or insisted on carrying them, partially because they were to slow to keep up with him and him just enjoying getting to hold something

he also tried to take them with him into class nobody said anything and you were just chilling on his desk, watching everybody and even trying to participate

it was difficult but you did manage to write something that was even correct

to reward your good behavior Malleus made you a small Gargoyle, it was an interesting thing but it looked cool at least

Lilia

he tried to make some Rabbit food for you, all he had to do was maybe mix some vegetables together but no Lilia had to be Lilia and add all kinds of crazy things

it looked more like a poor attempt at poisoning you more than anything and of course he expected you to eat

he even made sure there were no exits available to you, so you were forced to try and eat it

it ended poorly, so poorly in fact that just a small nibble made you faint

but after that he´s decent he gives you cute things to wear and even shows you of to other students or even the Light Music club members

he seems very proud of you for no reason, he did teach you some cool tricks too the most important one was playing dead

Silver

he is literally the best person ever for the job

I mean yeah he will fall asleep but who would run away from him???

actual animal or not you sure as hell won´t but his animal friends might try to chase you away, seems like you give of really bad vibes and they hate you

good thing it´s mutual and you scared them of, which everything considered is very impressive nobody died

Silver will also be very surprised when he doesn´t see his forest friends when he wakes up but he might just think they didn´t want to come over this time

he´ll just shrug, hopefully not forget you and continue with whatever he did before

or if he sleeps for to long you have to try and wake him up but it´s Silver and you are just a Rabbit so the chances for you actually waking him up are pretty small

Sebek

he nearly screamed the poor bunny to death and he wasn´t even angry at them!

he thought somebody else insulted Malleus and went off and the poor Rabbit was caught in the crossfire

even worse no matter how far they ran they couldn´t out run his voice, which was pretty bad for them at least when Sebek noticed they were gone he stopped screaming

but only for a short while, he panicked and screamed for them to come back here

he won´t get embarrassed in front of his Lord because a Human decided to mess with him

if he finds them they´ll get a scolding and then they´ll try to run away again and this will just continue until the turn back or run into somebody else

maybe if they are lucky Lilia will tell Sebek to shut up but the chances for that are small

he would enjoy teasing them more than anything

I want to ask if you could also make more scenarios for characters, other than Ace, having a mishap in Ramshackle’s weirdness (with ???!Yuu maybe coming to the rescue or not)

You could do the rest of the first years or the characters you think would have interesting interactions with the rules/creatures in Ramshackle ٩(^o^)۶

Ace Trappola and the 20-sided Dice

He found this peculiar little dice when he was walking around Ramshackle, looking for the Red Door again.

He was just really curious about the different versions of the Yuus that he saw from behind the Red Door and wanted to take a closer look.

No, not of them taking a bath! No!

He just wanted to talk to them and all that, alright?!

He was pretty sure he saw a Yuu that looked like Malleus Draconia so he was wondering what was up with that.

But Yuu didn’t help them find the door so now he was left with his own devices.

It didn’t take him long to find a room he was unfamiliar with and in the middle of the room was a glass case with a dice propped on top of a fancy pillow inside of it.

It was pretty easy to take and Ace assumed it was somewhat safe since Ramshackle didn’t do anything to stop him from taking it.

Ace looked at the dice, trying to see what kind of abilities it had since there was no way this thing was just a normal dice especially when he found it inside Ramshackle.

He turned it over with one hand before releasing it down to the floor and watching as it landed on the number 20.

The redhead waited patiently and looked around to see if there was anything dangerous coming after him.

When he saw nothing, he shrugged and pocketed the dice and resolved to ask what was the dice’s purpose when he sees Yuu later.

Though oddly enough, throughout the day he seemed to find himself eerily… lucky?

There was a surprise pop quiz in class but that got canceled right as they were about to take it, his class got dismissed early so he was able to buy the delicious limited edition bread that was usually always sold out by the time he arrived in the cafeteria, and he even single-handedly carried his team in basketball practice earlier!

It was as if luck was on his side!

Of course Ace, the sharp man he was, immediately realized it was because of the dice’s influence.

He immediately verified this to Yuu but when the Ramshackle prefect heard that they had used the die, they gave him a pitiful look while Grim looked at him with an expression that said ‘are you stupid?’.

Ace: “W…What? Why are you looking at me like I’m a dead man? Shit, don’t tell me this dice is going to take my lifespan away?!”

Yuu: “Not your lifespan, per se… Also, it doesn’t take anything away. Eh, but you might want to buy yourself protective gears and be alert for tomorrow. You know what, it’s better if you don’t go to school tomorrow.”

Ace: “Oi…! What’s going to happen?!”

Grim: “Nyahaha! You’re gonna be extremely unlucky tomorrow! What a stupid human! Why would you use something you found in Ramshackle?”

Yuu: “...Didn’t you also–”

Grim: “THE GREAT GRIM DID NOT!”

Suffice to say, Ace had a really bad time the next day. He was forced to go to school because Riddle caught him trying to skip classes and collared him. And for some reason, things were falling from the sky out of nowhere and hitting him square in the head but good thing he had a helmet on or else he’d already have a concussion over his concussion. There were also surprise quizzes on his classes for topics he didn’t study for, ALL his classes! Even PE! Worst part was, he couldn’t do anything to stop this because he had to wait the whole day out!

The 20-sided Dice: Yes, it’s the DnD dice. Ultimately, it’s harmless when it’s not used. The higher the number one gets, the luckier they become. However, it’s not without its drawbacks because just as how lucky one may get, the more unlucky they become the next day. It’s like having a predetermined amount of luck assigned to you every day and other days ahead. The dice siphons your luck from tomorrow so you can use it at the present time but that means that tomorrow, you’re significantly less luckier. Normally it wouldn’t be noticeable but the higher the number someone gets, the more luck the dice takes from an individual’s tomorrow. It’s just unfortunate that Ace rolled a 20. Heh.

Deuce Spade and the Children’s Show

This happened earlier when he still didn’t know much of the true dangers in Ramshackle.

Although this man sometimes has small brain moments, he knows how to assess danger.

Sometimes, anyway. Because really, remember the Dwarf’s Mine? He really tried to try his luck and play russian roulette with the blot monster just to get a magic stone.

Anyway, this sense of danger mostly only applied to direct physical threats.

So stumbling into Ramshackle’s Lounge and seeing the television was on, he thought nothing of it.

He assumed Yuu bought a new TV to entertain themselves.

There didn’t seem to be anything much to do in Ramshackle aside from trying to escape with your life so he gets why Yuu would get a television.

Even if the television switched to a scene of a well with S*dako crawling out of it, Deuce was fairly confident in his ability to fight.

He decided to look and see what the show the television was showing and it was actually a children’s show!

Unfortunately there wasn’t a remote anywhere and the television oddly didn’t have buttons to change the channel so he had no choice but to watch the children’s show that was kind of similar to D*ra the Explorer.

When the cartoon character asked the viewers a question, Deuce would jokingly answer it, not knowing the entity he was luring in.

He didn’t find anything wrong until the television screen showed a cartoonized version of Ramshackle far in the distance.

That was when Deuce began to feel that something was wrong. He tried to look for the TV’s power plug, only to find that it didn’t have any.

Finally realizing that this thing was an unknown entity, Deuce panicked and began talking to himself on what he should do and inadvertently giving indirect answers to it.

The cartoon character got closer and closer to Ramshackle with each scene, its face becoming more distorted and demented the more it got closer.

That was when Deuce realized that the show’s scene would change if he answered the character’s questions.

Even joke answers, or any answer for that matter, counted.

So he closed his mouth shut before he could make anything worse for him but at this point it was already too late.

The character had already arrived at the cartoon version of Ramshackle’s front door.

They knocked on the door in the television, asking to be let in, and Deuce heard a series of knocks on Ramshackle’s front door in real life.

It had already arrived…

That was when a ball of flame suddenly headed towards the television and engulfed it in flames.

Deuce heard a high pitched shriek come from the outside as the cartoon character in the television show caught fire and screamed in agony.

He looked at the direction to where the ball of flame came from and saw a grumpy-looking Grim by the doorway.

“Fgnah! You almost tried to invite that thing inside! Be glad I was here before anything could happen!”

The Children’s Show: Yeah, it’s pretty much Am*nda the Adventurer except it’s a television show. Gotta love me some horror and children tropes. Anyway, no one knows the entity’s true form since they hide it behind the cutesy cartoon character in the television. Any type of answers given whenever the cartoon character addresses the viewers counts and it will continue to the next scene. That’s why staying silent is the best option but that doesn’t mean the cartoon character will let this slip by. When they inevitably realize that you find out their true purpose, they won’t hesitate to pull the punches. They’ll use any means to make you answer, whether by taunting you and picking on your insecurities or even creating a cartoon version of your loved ones getting hurt and screaming in pain. The only way to neutralize this entity is to destroy the television. It doesn’t mean it’s gone, just neutralized. It will be back again later with a different cartoon character…

Jack Howl and the… Thing?

He has a good head on his shoulders so he knew not to touch anything in Ramshackle or go into rooms he had never seen before.

Though, just because he’s careful doesn’t really stop the dangers from seeking him instead.

Unlucky for him, it seems that a murderous entity got impatient and forcefully took over control of Ramshackle's layout to trap Jack in a room with it.

Of course, such a crude way of taking control of Ramshackle’s layout definitely wouldn’t escape Yuu’s notice but it seems this entity was betting everything on its life that it would be able to harm Jack before either Yuu or Ramshackle could intervene and bring him out of danger.

Jack couldn’t do a thing but try to evade this… thing, whatever it was… since the door that he had just closed by itself and couldn’t be opened.

Then the room began to expand as Jack turned around to see whatever had just trapped him in the room.

The entity was a monstrous thing. It was disgusting to look at and even more disgusting to smell.

Even when Jack had a bit of distance from it, he could still smell the coppery smell of blood emanating from it.

The thing looked fleshy and had a lot of eyes of different colors and twitching limbs poking out of its body.

Its flesh seemed to be made of human skin, if the vague shapes and figures of human faces stretched on the surface was anything to go by.

Jack had an ominous conjecture that those limbs and eyes came from the thing’s previous victim and he definitely didn’t want his face to be on there, no thank you.

So Jack did the best thing to do in a situation like this – Run away because he was sure as long as he could get out of this entity’s territory then it wouldn’t be able to chase after him anymore.

The only problem was that despite the entity looking all stout and plump from all the flesh it assimilated, it was still able to almost catch up to him!

Just as the entity was closing the gap between them, a wood beam suddenly burst out of the floor and hit the entity, throwing it out of Jack’s path as it hit the wall.

The door that was locked earlier opened and Jack could see that Yuu was holding the door open while reaching their hand out to him, screaming for him to take their hand.

It seemed that Yuu was struggling to force the door open, which was quite understandable since the entity didn’t want its prey to escape and they were technically playing a game of tug of war with the territory.

Still, looking over his shoulder, Jack could see more wooden beams bursting out from the walls, the floor, and the ceiling as it kept hitting the entity and breaking its momentum from catching up with Jack. This was the first time he had seen Ramshackle at work.

More beams burst out from the walls and created a barrier between the entity and Jack and Yuu.

Finally, Jack could reach out to Yuu and take their hand as he was pulled to safety. The door closed behind him and it disappeared from view.

“I… huff… I’m so sorry…” Yuu panted, leaning on the wall. “We’ll make sure it… wheeze… won’t be able to… haa… to cause trouble ever again…”

“That’s… huff… great.” Jack replied, also out of breath.

The Thing: A malevolent entity obsessed with assimilating creatures into it. With the amount of mass it’s gained, it must have hunted in Ramshackle for a long, long time now. It actually has a second form where its flesh around its ‘stomach’ area splits open to show the seemingly alive and screaming heads of the previous victims still being digested and assimilated. Current status: pending elimination. :)

Epel Felmier and the Statue Room

Ah, the statue room.

It’s a relatively harmless room. Relatively harmless unless the entities find you interesting enough to be a part of them, that is.

And that’s what exactly Epel is to them – a potential candidate for their ‘eternal paradise’.

He first stumbled upon the room when they were staying at Ramshackle for VDC practice.

At first he was curious about the statues that he was seeing littered all around Ramshackle when he and the rest of the NRC Tribe were moving in.

The statues were very detailed, like Greek sculptures.

Yuu seemed to have a strained expression on their face as they said, “Ah… Don’t mind them. They shouldn’t be out and about, trying to… recruit… new potentials for their cause.”

Yuu said it loudly, as if purposely trying to let the statues hear their words.

The next day, the statues were still scattered around Ramshackle but this time their positions and poses changed. Additionally most of them were now inside of Ramshackle.

It was creepy but since Yuu reassured them that the statues were mostly harmless, it was no problem.

That was until Epel woke up in the middle of the night with a parched throat so he got up to get himself a glass of water.

As he opened the door, he was met with a statue pointing down the hallway.

It would be a lie if he said he wasn’t jumpscared to be met face-to-face with the statue but it would also be a lie if he said he wasn’t curious at what it was pointing at.

So he followed the direction down the hall where he saw another statue that was pointing down another hallway.

Realizing that the statues were actually leading him somewhere, he followed the directions they were leading him to and landed himself in the Statue Room.

Unlike the statues scattered outside, the ones inside the room were on pedestals that had plaques with description of the statue on it.

Not only that but the depictions of the statues in the room were much more gorey as opposed to those scattered outside.

The descriptions were all brief, something along the lines of: ‘Here lies Eveline, she who never stayed’, ‘Esmeralda, burned as a witch’, ‘L is for Larry who bled and bleed’ and the like.

It didn’t need much description when the emotions the statues exhibited were already telling.

Despite it all, the statues managed to look somehow elegant and beautiful even if the faces the statues expressed were of sadness, anger, or agony.

It was like a museum exhibit in the room and Epel actually enjoyed looking around.

It was all fine until Epel’s sight landed on an empty pedestal. He got curious why that lone pedestal had no statue on it so he looked at the plaque to see the missing statue’s description but…

EPEL FELMIER - Join us.

“Aw hell naw!”

His peewpaw and meemaw ain’t gonna be visiting his statue-fied body if he can help it, thank you very much!

Just as he was about to book it, he found himself surrounded by the statues that were on the pedestals earlier.

And that was how the story of Epel fistfighting the statues in the statue room happened.

The Statue Room: Despite the name and how they look, the entities inside of it weren’t really statues but they definitely act like one. They love passion, beauty, and eternity. They were once humans who wanted to stay as they were for eternity that they were willing to freeze themselves in time forever, whether they were on the brink of death or not. Now they’re just ‘statues’. Although not aggressive or hostile, it was best to stay away from them since they were persistent if they wanted to. It’s more of an minor annoyance for Yuu when they decide to break out of their assigned territory to scout for new people to join them. Still, they were ultimately harmless since the only way for them to successfully recruit people was if those people themselves willingly wanted to be a part of the Statue Room.

Sebek Zigvolt and the Boundary

Sebek didn’t really have any reason to visit Ramshackle but he had heard plenty of the odd things that happened in it.

But as he slowly got integrated into Yuu’s group of friends which mostly consisted of first years, visiting Ramshackle became more and more frequent.

In turn, him encountering whatever logic-defying thing that happened in the weird dorm became more common.

Of course, a sleepover was going to happen one of these days and it did.

And of course, just as Sebek closed his eyes and decided to go to sleep, he suddenly jolted awake and found himself in a white void, surrounded by cloudy smoke that lazily drifted all around.

Sebek was pretty sure he wasn’t the type to sleep-walk so he assumed it was just the Ramshackle shenanigans acting up again.

Still, being in the unknown place didn’t shake him a bit. He knew he could get out of the place, though he didn’t know how exactly.

Just as he was about to take a step forward, a hand landed on his shoulder and Sebek was alarmed but he calmed down when he saw that it was just Yuu, although they seemed to be looking at something past him.

An outburst was bubbling on his throat but Sebek paused when he saw the look on Yuu’s face.

The pure and raw fear on Yuu’s face was concerning because if something can make Yuu that scared then whatever it was that scared them was very, very dangerous.

“Don’t…” Yuu said in a low voice, almost in a whisper, as they tugged Sebek back. “Don’t go there…”

Sebek let them, noticing the slight shaking of Yuu’s hand but he didn’t comment on it.

Yuu slid their hand down to Sebek’s own and intertwined their fingers as they began to walk backwards, Yuu never taking their eyes off what unseen things Sebek couldn’t see in front of them.

He didn’t say anything but he squeezed Yuu’s hand as a small reassurance to the Prefect.

Slowly, step by step, the surroundings transitioned to the wooden floor and moldy walls of Ramshackle and the two only stopped walking backwards when they couldn’t see the white expanse anymore.

Once they couldn’t see the white void, Yuu allowed themselves to collapse on their knees.

“Never,” They started as Sebek tried to help them up. “Never go past the boundary… please.”

The Boundary: It’s the boundary. Whatever happens outside of it is out of Ramshackle’s control. There are much more terrifying creatures outside than the ones within Ramshackle’s territory. More crueler, more inhumane. Had Sebek taken a step forward, Yuu wasn’t sure they would've been able to retrieve the half-fae’s body to mourn. Glad he didn’t, aye?

So I may have gone down a rabbit hole a while back and figured out some fun facts behind the meanings and origins of each card suit and the Heartslabyul boys fit somewhat well into them??

Like Hearts = emotion (Ace is the only one who’s dated, and may or may not be smitten for Yuu’

Spades = weapons + soldiers (Deuce’s delinquent era where he got into fights + his diligence now)

Clubs = the common folk (Trey has a whole vignette talking about how he’s the most normal person at NRC + a normal-ish life compared to the others)

Diamonds = superficial wealth (Cater is very superficial outwardly and hardly lets anything break his ice)

A couple of those might be off but I still think it’s super interesting!

"Gone down a rabbit hole"? I see what you did there--

There's actually lore from the Magical Archives which states that the dorm leader determines which card suit each student is! This led me to speculate how the dorm leader determines which suit to bestow and if the suits themselves have any additional meaning. (If you're interested in reading more, you can find that post here!) I didn't realize that the suits also had some kind of common meaning irl too?? Something I mentioned in that other post is that I think of Alice in Borderland, which categorizes games of life or death by suits, with hearts being games of trust, spades being games of physical ability, clubs being games of cooperation, and diamonds being games of intelligence. Those, too, also kind of fit in with the ideas you brought up.

Deuce definitely fits the bill due to his physical strength and penchant for throwing hands when his old habits get the better of him. Trey's the "normal guy" of the group (which he emphasizes on multiple occasions, especially around Rook; ie Endless Halloween Night, Happy Beans Day, etc.) and is usually the peacemaker responsible for calming Riddle down (ie he wants everyone to "get along"). Then we have Cater, who comes from a reasonably well-off family (his dad is a banker), and seemingly acts very shallow and superficial (particularly when it comes to Magicam). However, he's also shown to be socially savvy and knows how to use others' perception of him to his advantage to get them to do what they want; Cater's very intelligent in that sense!

The only one I would somewhat debate with you on is Ace?? It's not that I disagree about him being emotional, it's moreso the reason presented for it. Yes, he's the only one who has dated before but compared to the reasoning given for the other Heartslabyul boys, that's such a small part of his character to warrant it defining his heart suit. Whether or not Ace has a crush on Yuu is left to personal interpretation; I'd rather not make assumptions about the nature of his feelings, as not all players will align with it (thereby making the evidence shaky). Rather, I feel like the source of Ace's "heart" and emotion comes down to his earnestness.

Ace isn't afraid to tell it like it is! That's a key component of his personality--time and time again, he calls people out because he feels passionately about his own stance. Ace slaps some sense into a ghost bride's deluded ideas about romance and the ideal prince, calls his own dorm leader a tyrant, and even tells Malleus (one of the top 5 strongest mages in the WORLD) off for the dumb, dangerous prank he pulled on Halloween night. Of course, this bluntness also lands Ace in trouble with those he offends (which can sometime also include his own friends; recall that Ace often insults Deuce and Yuu, sometimes more playfully and sometimes slightly meaner), but the fact remains that this is an essential part of who he is. While I wouldn't say Ace is as emotional of a person as like... Kalim, he's still emotional in his own way. Ace is just a person who speaks his opinion even when no one asked for it or wanted it! You may even say he speaks from the "heart" (albeit in an unconventional way)!

Anyway...!! Riddle's so lucky to have such troublesome reliable card soldiers by his side! They're such besties 🥰

Twisted wonderland Steven universe Au

Disclaimer: English isn’t my first language and this isn’t proofread, this is a wip.

This Au will be called Twisted universe,look at the end to see some sketches of the Au

Some basic facts about the au:

* In this Au I will try to put some characteristic from the game and try to adapt them in Su universe, for example, even tho the gems can summons specials weapon they also have some special powers which is their *unique magic*, if you use too much magic you will start to gain *blot* in your gem which will lead to an *overblot*

* There are two planets (night raven and royal sword) and both of them have their own leader which are black diamond (Crowley) and withe diamond (the headmaster of RSA) both of these planets have seven nations and the leaders have their own court of other less important diamonds which they appoint as the ruler of each nations,

* Previously there was a war between the two planets in which some of the previous leader of the continents have been shattered and even for those few who survived Crowley decided to replace them with their successor for a brand new start for the new era of peace

* Sometimes gem can come out “wrong” and have difficulty to use any weapon, they only can use magic in a moderate way, these gems are called ‘monsters’ they are called like this because they don’t really have a specific gem and they also have a different body from other gems, only the dangerous monsters gets shattered

* In this Au the gems are like humanity, I mean that they used the resource from theirs planet and other planet that they have colonized to create buildings, technology ecc.., but all they create is more advanced to what we have.

* Unlike in SU, in this Au the gems can’t heal the scars they have and they aren’t born directly as adults, they also have the normal stages of lives, except for dying

* Actually Crowley isn’t the most powerful diamond, it’s malleus but he has no intention to take Crowley position, his only interest are the people from his nation and plus even if Crowley is irresponsible as fuck he isn’t doing anything to get in malleus way

* Yuu role in the story is basically the same, that got transported in another word and they are trying to find a way home hopping between lands

* Every leader of a nation has it’s court

Heartslaybul court:

This is Riddle Roseheart court, he is a really strict leader some may also call him

a tyrant but don’t let him hear you you may find yourself with a cracked gem or if your lucky in isolation with a collar on your neck if his loyal pearl, Trey Clover, manage to calm him down.

Even tho Trey seem kind and calm, don’t let him fool you, he will watch your downfall all of the sake of his Diamond.

Don’t worry, everyone is not so evil in Riddle’s court, when you feel sad the refreshing attitudine of a certain spinel called Cater Diamond can make you feel better even tho sometimes he might be a little too overbearing with the camera always pointed at your face.

Let’s not forget about two of your dearest friends! A certain ruby and a lapis who are always by your side in the worst situations,

Ace Trappola and Deuce Spade!

Savanclaw court:

This court is ruled by the strong orange diamond also called Leona kingscholar,

his brother got shattered in war so he is taking his place until his nephew is old enough try not to disturb him, he has a temper, Leona train the army and

his pearl,Ruggie Bucchi need to keep under control the army when Leona dooze off.

His strongest jasper is Jack Howl, since he was young he admired Leona so he trained hard to get into the army however it’s seem that the result of seeing his role model for the first time left him disappointed as Leona use dirty tricks in the battlefield.

I got lazy, I’ll continue this later, here some sketches that I’ll never finish

We don’t really care about Yuu either way (since we don’t read the manga), but I do like the designs for all of them and how different they are. We also posted a sketch of Yuuta at some point! We like him the most.

Oh, so you mean the JP game is somewhat influenced by the EN censorship too? That would be a bummer, but also kind of funny because it was the second Halloween event where we got that suspicious line of Rook telling us how he woke up in the middle of the night and saw that Vil wasn’t there. I guess it wasn’t a voice line, so….

And yes absolutely, Cater canon brocon! Imagine being so tired of having sisters that your brain just says “if I had a brother I would be very into him, especially if it��s Vil” lol

Yeah, like you’ve noticed already, we don’t mind tops and bottoms sharing in a 3+ people scenario. Although when it comes to spicy scenes specifically, we tend to prefer “multiple tops, one bottom” route and not the “multiple bottoms, one top” route. But if we’re talking about it in general, I think this is pretty much our default state for a lot of characters? Their relationship status is very fluid…

Lilia could easily date both Silver and Idia, to be honest, I think Lilia doesn’t even necessarily consider it “dating”, he just has multiple partners and enjoys his life lol And Malleus would be on Lilia’s “list” too!

Rook and Ortho could find a good balance and date Vil together too! Rook could also date both Vil and Epel, although with Rook it’s tricky because he’s just going around enjoying life… just like Lilia…

Another trio that we’ve talked about recently is Trey+Riddle+Che’nya, they also work nicely as a throuple.

The first years have a lot of things to sort out between themselves, but theoretically? Maybe Deuce could end up with two boyfriends (Jack and Ace). But it absolutely won’t happen soon, they aren’t mature enough for this yet lol

Anon, this is a scenario that I would absolutely love to witness, but unfortunately, I don’t think Idia would do that. Although he is such a troll sometimes, and he is super unlucky (lucky?) when it comes to how his social interactions spiral out of his control, that he might find himself in a similar situation… It’s the butterfly effect – one little joke from Idia, and suddenly a couple of hours later he’s talking to a guy who is in love with him and doesn’t listen to him trying to explain that he isn’t in fact a cute nerdy gal?? And then suddenly the other person STARTS TALKING ABOUT ALL THE FILTHY THINGS THEY WOULD LIKE TO DO TO HIM—Idia had no idea being an accidental e-girl would be so stressful lol

Part 7! Malleus playing video games??? Well, he's trying his best snsjsj

Malleus:

This is under the assumption that he's already gotten used to playing other games

Imagine this is the first game he plays and he's struggling to decipher 💀💀💀

Anyways, I think he watched Lilia, Silver and Sebek plays before joining in

He would be kinda upset that he wasn't invited but he can't really blame them this time around seeing that they're playing video games

Hunter main because it's easier for him

Still plays as survivors though to join the others

※The game is an asymmetrical horror survival game (4 survivors vs 1 hunter), basically a less gruesome Dead by Daylight

Funnily enough, I see him being a Joseph (Photographer) main despite Joseph's gameplay not being straightforward (as a hunter)

When I say not straightforward, I meant that Malleus somehow managed to figure out how the camera world works

Instead of hitting the survivors and not using the camera at all

His other mains are Jack (The Ripper) and Hastur (The Feaster)

I think I can see him being an Antonio (Violinist) main as well because he's amused by how the music notes can harm the survivors

As a survivor though, I see him being an Aesop (Embalmer) main

Although I could imagine his confusion at the fact that Aesop likes dead people snsns//idkwhatthatmeanseither,don'task

I can imagine him playing as Aesop so he could bring Yuu back to life if Yuu joined the game

Otherwise it would just be whoever he sees first (For example, if he sees Lilia's main first, he'd make it so that the coffin would bring him back if he died)

Rarely revives himself, much to Sebek's dismay

Doesn't know what sui is but joins them anyway

Doesn't really have a main but he usually plays as survivors to join the others

I feel like he enjoys unconventional characters/characters that are harder to play as so like Kevin (Cowboy) and Melly (Entomologist)

"Melly's bees reminds me of my bats!"

Always body blocks whenever he could so his sons could win

He loves playing as Kevin because he thinks it's funny that he gets to carry other survivors while running away

His interest in unconventional characters extends to hunters as well

However, he does like to bully his sons with Bane (Gamekeeper) who is a simpler character

Lilia: Silver, did you step on my trap?

Silver: I didn't see it...

Only joins sui with his sons, otherwise he would only join if invited

Fave side games are the racing side game and Black Jack

His first survivor main was Kurt (Explorer)

Silver:

Survivor main because apparently he fell asleep while looking for survivors as a hunter once ��💀💀

Lilia had to play for him as well so his morality points wouldn't suffer

I feel like, although he enjoys playing as Andrew (Grave Keeper), he prefers playing as survivors who could directly stun the hunter

So like Qi Shiyi (Antiquarian), Ganji (Batter), ect.

However playing as these kind of characters do come with its risks so I do see him getting chaired first and even dying first shsjsj

Doesn't really care for sui but only joins for Lilia and the others

His first survivor main was Emma (Gardener)

Sebek:

Survivor main because he finds it more satisfying to escape than to "kill" survivors

I guess it's just his brain telling him that if everyone escapes, he can somehow emulate that IRL and save Malleus if something like this were to ever happen

I think he struggles with the more difficult characters which is a bummer for him because he wanted to play as Ada ("Psychologist")

So he settles with Fiona (Priestess) instead, hoping that at least someone is close to Malleus or if Malleus could answer his portal summons so he could be near him at all times

His other main is Martha (Coordinator)

Always body blocks for Malleus dndnd

Played Tarot with Malleus once and their team lost

Was inconsolable dndnsn

Sebek: I CAN'T BELIEVE I FAILED TO PROTECT WAKA-SAMA!!!

It's almost comedic how they speak about their well-being right now. It's not like Night Raven College was something of a vacation. It was survival; it was still the very same survival in an enclosed location where almost no one had your best interest at heart. If anyone did. It's awful to say it like this, but Morozova had reasons to deny any positive views on the society they were surrounding themselves in. This world of Twisted Wonderland was not

Naturally, it's energetic because of how we're all getting ready to drive into the wonderous world of politics, economics, agriculture, showbiz, and whatever others want to go into~" Zarina would be dramatic about it, all too obvious, just because she thought it was funny to see the other act like this. Why were they surprised? Why were they so tired? It's not like it'd be better outside of this school. "Ace and Deuce are like younger brothers, aren't they? They're so energetic and so dumb in their own ways. And Grimm? He's like a tiny minion who would be gone if not for your presence around. Then again, makes sense why you're so tired in others' company, too. Each dorm has its own characters. Vil, Rook, and Epel are quite colorful, too~ Though, you should try to get to know them better. Knowing them from the side versus knowing them personally helps with a lot of misconceptions."

She would lean back to glance at the window which led outside. She could see how several students were headings toward this disastrous dorm that Crowley had to push on Yuu. Well, it's not like the winter maiden cared that much about Yuu's health as of now. Unlike other students, Zarina did not have a heart of gold. Her presence here might have been seen as a showcase of friendship and genuine interest, but it was more to learn about the world the other came from to satiate her interest and feed her boredom. However, being the celebrity in showbusiness that she was, Morozova wouldn't give even a hint of her true personality to anyone aside from those who were allowed to know.

After all, one's whole life could be a stage...

"But if you are sick and tired, you should just give up then, hm?" The ice elemental stated, looking over her shoulder at the other. Yuu was not someone who she wanted to be gone, but she also wanted to see how they would push forward and how smart they were to adapt to this new world. They were lucky that the majority of the time they spent on campus instead of traveling too far away. Without magic capabilities, connections to certain students would certainly get them killed. That'd be a shame. "But you won't, right? You've got to find a way to return to your place, to where you belong. Hm~ If I learn anything, I'll let you know. But you're going to get guests in 3, 2, 1..."

"That's my cue to leave," the silverette pushed herself up and started to walk towards the door. However, she stopped to look at the other with a softer and sweeter smile (you're fake, fake, fake.) "Don't give up so fast, Yuu. Then, you could take Malleus Draconia or Vil Schoenheit as other examples. "Be kinder to yourself, but also make sure to build connections that'll help you survive if there will be no way out. Have a good rest of your day, Yuu. I'll help you with history and etiquette tomorrow as well."

For Baby au, I think Chernabog would take baby Yuu to the meetings because they are his heir and need to see how dad does business. Also, he IS Chernabog. What others gonna do? Stop him? Maybe the only person who can kinda stop him is Mickey Mouse; since these two share child custody. Maybe that how Yuu met other kids?

That's exactly how Yuu met the others!

But I'm in a mood right now, so allow me to try and describe the first impressions~

It was a normal meeting day like all others, the seven were reunited and slowly toking their seats, the only diference is the little ones they brought along

Riddle sat like a very polite boy in the Queen's lap, he doesn't understands most of what the adults are talking but he looks interested. While Scar put down a groggy Leona, who just awoken from another nap, the kid was still deciding if he wanted to stay with him or go to the nearest sofa and make himself comfortable there, probably sleep again

Azul was concentrated in the meeting, he was understanding some parts of it, looked realy interested in Ursula's propositions most of the time, nodding to things he agreed and frowned upon things he didn't get. Jamil was bored of the metting, but hadn't better place to go, not paying attention to anything in particular, really close to finding a phone to entertain himself with

Vil is not interested in the meeting, he's doing his homework and reciting the lines of his next play in his head. Idia really didn't wanted to come, but Hades insisted for some reason, he's immersed in a video game he brought, in a sit in the corner of the room

Malleficent is the last one to arrive with Malleus by her side, he looks stoic, his place is floating besides her looking realy bored but most couldn't tell, lucky him Diablo stayed in the meeting for his sake, so he's mostly petting the rave

And then the lights flickered, waking Leona and startling Idia, all kids looked curiously around for their guardians were tense, nothing like this happened before, they heard the wind talk and their shadows grow in sizes, the door flys open revealing the biggest creature, demon, they ever saw

Chernabog arrived in the only way he knows how, indiscretly and full of flashes, besides the children of his... henchmens? Underlings? Coworkers? Whatever they call themselfs were here, so of course he needed to keep a reputation

"What do we own the pleasure of our dearest patron personal visit?" Malleficent asked not getting up from her sit

"... I'm not here to supervise today" his voice echoed in the chamber

"Oh?"

"I have permitted your children's stay at this place while the meeting happened, however I hope all of you know that things comes with prices"

The children got closer to their respective guardian, that doesn't sounds good

"But the price may be more reasonable than you all think of me" he continued "for I have only one simple request... you can come out now"

The villains eyes grew and their children looked fascinated at the tiny child that stepped out of the demon's closed-Cape-like-wings hugging a little monster cat that looked "fiercely" at them

"This is my heir, you can call them Yuu, they will be staying here in the days I can't look after them"

The demon left soon after, but not before kneeling to the child's height and whispering something to them, letting the seven villains and their children shocked, they ... they never thought that he, of all people, would have a child as his heir and much less treat them like a child

"Thank you for looking after me" the child said, holding the cat's mouth for good measure oh for the forces of evil they are polite on top of being Chernabog's heir, what the actual fuck is happening to the world these days "I may need to go to the kitchen next door if you any excuse me? my companion is hungry"

They left the second they excused the little one, the villains could only hear a flicker of their conversation:

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR??? I WANTED TO GIVE THEM A PICE OF THE GREAT GRIM'S MIND!"

"You were going to insult them and I don't have patience to deal with that now Grim"

"hmpf... will you get me tuna?"

"Yes Grim" said Yuu exasperated "I will, but you have to promise me to stay quiet"

"Ok!"

The villains decide to come back to their meetings nd the children... "sneaked out" they let them to watch this new kid that just arrived

"Now that that's settle we may continue the meeting" the evil queen said

Translating: [what the fuck was that? Since when did he had a child? A child of all things!]

"Yes we may" malleficent replied

[That was the strangest thing that I ever saw in my hole 3000+ years, and I thought I saw everything this world had to offer]

"I propose a new topic" Ursula intervened

[Finaly some action in this place]

"Who do you think is going to be the little one best friend by the end of this day?"

Riddle met Yuu at the kitchen, he couldn't stay put when he notices them going for the tart and couldn't help but proclaim a rule of the Queen of hearts about tarts and that they shouldn't be eaten before noon, Yuu convinced him that it was noon at were they came from so technically it was noon right now at some place else, meaning they could eat the tart... Riddle ate a piece with them

Leona met them when they were looking for Grim, the little raskal had run off and Yuu was looking for him, and then they tripped on Leona, the boy was annoyed at that, but soon his mischievous side kicked in and he pounced on Yuu, who returned his mannerisms, by the end of it both were looking for Grim

Azul was hiding and observing until he lost Yuu from his sight, only for them to appear right next to him, asking for help to find the tiny ball of furr, he said he would help for a price and Yuu said ok, gave him a peck and moved on, that's usualy what father asks so why would this time be diferent?, Azul-ex stopped working, please reboot

Jamil met them again at the kitchen, he was occupying himself with something to eat, simple enough like chocolate or something, Yuu came in exhausted and prised him for know and having permission to cook something, they talked and Yuu learned something's from him, he liked the compliments...

Vil found the hair ball and confronted Yui himself, only for Yuu to thank him... weird kid... and the they said he had a good voice, he asked if they didn't recognized him form somewhere and that's how he learned that Yuu never went to the theater and started to give reviews in some of his favorite musical that he promises to show Yuu one of these days

Idia bumped into Yuu and almost had an heart attack, everyone was leaving the room so he thought to do teh same, thinking it was the adults too, only to get lost, Yuu helped him come back and in the way they discovered a room with table gamez, both end up forming a duo and by the end of it all children are playing together

Malleus was actualy the first to met them, even before Riddle, he had met them roaming around the building, this was Chernabogs mountain after all, so he wonders why now that they are being introduced properly, he teleported to the kitchen the moment Yuu excused themselfs, it was a happy reunion to him, his strange friend is now properly introduced and he can talk about them to his grandmother now too! He's the second to find Shroud and Yuu at the game room

At the end of the day it was great for the kids!

First Day

Another installment of “Yuu and the House of Mouse”

First day jitters, am I right?

You’re understandably nervous, especially after hearing about some of the...guest’s antics. Still, you’re also excited.

Then you have second thoughts, as you see guests rolling in. Some of them intimidate you. Everyone’s in such fancy getup and here you are - simple clothes (fancy, but they look drab compared to everyone else)

You’re tapping your feet as you stand back, watching all the guests roll in.

As more settle down, Mickey asks you to follow him.

“Why?”

“So we can introduce everyone to you!”

W h a t ?

Cue nervous panicking, because being in front of a crowd scares you. (Which is a half lie, you were in front of many crowds before. But being introduced to one individually is different than being introduced as a group)

When Mickey introduces you, you scan the crowd. There’s a plethora of people - from animals to humans to...aliens? The whole place was a colorful cast.

“Everyone give it up for our new employee, (Y/N)!”

Everyone is clapping, and you think that this wouldn’t be too bad.

After your introduction, you start your job. The customers are very friendly and patient with you, which you are more than thankful for.

Your favorite customer would be Tiana and Naveen. You spoke casually to them, finding it interesting that they went out to the House of Mouse even though they have a restaurant of their own.

“A change of pace, you know?” You whole heartedly agree with that.

You can’t help but glance at the stage when a silly show is on the big screen or a live performance happens. You find it entertaining and you could imagine enjoying yourself with your friends here.

Hmm...maybe you could invite the Octavinelle Trio? The guests would love their performance. Or maybe Malleus’ singing? (When you first heard Malleus sing, you were enchanted by it)

You also help in the kitchen - making sure Gus doesn’t eat ALL of the food. You also keep Goofy from...well, being goofy. You managed to save Goofy from knocking the prepared food over before it got disastrous.

The rest of the night went by without much trouble, though you were sent out to quickly fetch some extra props from down the street (what a lucky place for a store to be in, right?)

When the club was closing, you prepared yourself to return back to Ramshackle. As you made your way to the dressing rooms, some of the guests took the time to bid you goodbye. (You were flattered - especially since you’ve learned that many of them were royalty)

When you reached Mickey’s dressing room, he handed you the madols (“Wait- you meant 5,000 per NIGHT?! I thought you meant by the end of the week!)

You said your farewells to the rest of the staff, and then went through the mirror - back to your room.

The end result of the night? The staff is basically your new family and the guests are intrigued by you. They’re all so excited to see you the next night!

Even those who didn’t come to the Club tonight will hear the rumors and that gets their attention.

When you return to Ramshackle, you fall onto the wooden floor. After getting yourself reoriented, you hear footsteps from the stairs.

Then, Crowley and Grim burst into your room, the door almost falling off it’s hinges.

Crowley: “There you are! Where have you been?!”

Grim: “Nyya! How’d you go through that mirror, henchmen?!”

...oh boy. You have a lot of explaining to do.

At the request of @chimamire-no-sakura, MC OC YUU's reaction if she is constantly ill due to the overload of her work Crowley:

Dorm leaders:

Riddle : He would be very concerned. Let the principal ask for help a few times, that's okay. But pass everything on to MC without worrying about the fact that she has to manage school work and that she had to face several Overblots without Crowley pointing the tip of his nose to come and help them and abuse his kindness, that our red head will not be able to take it! Would be able to threaten Crowley to put a collar on him or find a rule that says this kind of behavior is seen as abuse and that he would report it if he didn't stop there!

Leona: Leona is the first to exploit people (* cough * Ruggie * cough *) to do his chores for Him. But unlike, he would never allow himself to make Ruggie work to the point of making him sick, so when you go after his herbivore the lion will roar! Would be able to go find Crowley in his office and threaten to make him disappear with his One Magic. He'll even convince Crowley to let MC have preset schedules so that she can rest and make up for missed hours of sleep with him.

Azul: Poor Crowley, our Octoman already has it in the palm of his hand. So when he sees how much the NRC Principal is exploiting our dear MC, he makes sure the birdman understands his pain. Will have no problem blackmailing him and threatening him to reveal his darkest secrets without forgetting the fact that he is left a student without magic to face Overblots in his place and to make her live in conditions of deplorable life. It would be a shame if the local press learned of these unfortunate events, wouldn't it? He'll make sure Jade and Floyd keep an eye on this birdman. In the meantime, he's going to give MC well-deserved days off and offer her some sweets to "try out what's new on the menu".

Kalim: He's worried to death! It's not right of the Principal to give so much work when MC is completely exhausted and sick! Would ask Jamil for advice and in the meantime take care of MC giving her rest and good food!

Vil: Vil is for hard work, but this is too much! Watch how that pretty face is now covered in dark circles, stressful pimples, those dry cracked lips and sickly complexion! It's absolutely shameful (Not for MC of course. It is for Crowley)! Vil would use his notoriety to manipulate Crowley, threaten to use his popularity to get him fired on the spot (and the Birdman knows full well that a dedicated Fanbase is very effective with petitions and mass reporting). Our Roi des Poisons will then take care of giving MC revitalizing potions and healing so that she can relax and rest, Vil will pamper her like a queen.

Idia: Would be very concerned about the situation! His favorite Waifu is not well and it breaks his heart! Then he remembers that he is a genius and that digging up secrets well hide in the interest and one of his many talents! Idia will certainly start digging up shameful photos of our dear bird man and posting them all over social media. He will also hack teachers' private files and threaten to sink the school if Crowley does not calm down, it would be a shame if the end of year exam papers were revealed to everyone for so little. is this not ? He would then certainly invite MC to come and rest in his room and they would eat lots of junk food while watching animated films.

Malleus: So there ... If the NRC doesn't end up in little ash heaps, Crowley will be lucky! Angry Malleus Draconia is not a pretty scene. Crowley still has enough savvy not to be in the bad graces of one of the most powerful wizards of Twisted Wonderland and what is more, a future king! Our Principal will certainly try to be forgiven from Malleus and MC by offering more pocket money to buy food, some small repairs to Ramshackle here and there and beg MC for mercy. After all, isn't she so nice? Meanwhile, while Crowley renovates Ramshackle and takes care of his own work, Malleus takes care of MC by letting her sleep in Diasomnia's prettiest room, passionately chatting about gargoyles, and improvising a little picnic in a corner of the forest that Malleus particularly appreciates because you can observe the stars perfectly.

The Vice-leaders:

Trey: He activates his "mother hen" mode! MC is no longer allowed to get out of bed until she is perfectly rested and regained her strength! Trey certainly wouldn't see himself threatened by the Principal, but he would take care of MC's work in addition to his own and enlist the help of our duo Adeuce so that MC can recover as soon as possible! He will cook good little meals full of vitamins and maybe soups too. No one is allowed to come and disturb MC while she is asleep and would certainly bring out his authoritarian side if he hears too much noise likely to disturb the young woman's rest.

Ruggie: Ruggie can understand what it's like to be exploited, but he gets something out of it. He's already very busy with Leona and her schoolwork, so he can't help her with that, but he's trying to cheer her up. An example, he shares with her her donuts (which is a great gesture of affection from her) and making her laugh. Sometimes he would drop one of his tasks to make one of MC's in its place and that she could rest. And maybe even let her stroke his hyena ears, it's a win-win combo, isn't it?

Jade: Well, well. The poor little thing here, does she need a little help? Jade would love to be his serving knight. While he distracts her from her extra work to show her her terrariums and slip a few drops of the sleeping potion into her drink to go to bed on the sofa in Azul's office, Jade thinks it would be very beneficial to go visit dear Crowley, it's been a long time since Octavinelle has done business with him. Our dear moray eel is quite up for bringing his dear twin with him, after all the crazier we are the more we laugh, right? Jade can assure you that after this charming, perfectly friendly visit, MC will be relieved of many obligations. Let our dear human rest and when she is well, let's celebrate with a long and exciting hike during which a lovely picnic awaits them at the end of the path. Jade has made her favorite chocolate fondant, it would be silly to waste such a great treat if she isn't fit enough to enjoy it.

Jamil: He's very worried even if he doesn't show it. Due to his own obligations, he cannot help MC but he can convince Kalim to describe a letter to his father to stop the donations that the Al-Asim family makes to the school. Kalim will not notice the "manipulation" and will think that the idea came from him and Jamil will not be in trouble. Once Crowley is bold enough to come to Scarabia to talk about the letter and the gifts, it's Jamil who takes control of the conversation without giving the impression. He convinces the Principal to stop giving unjustified and excess work to MC, in exchange the donations will come back. But this birdman must stop treating MC like his servant. Once the deal is done, Jamil cooks MC's favorite meals and makes sure she gets a good rest. When she gets better, a banquet will be organized to celebrate her recovery.

Rook: Oh Oh! But what happened to that graceful face? It has its charm, of course, but it lacks life and joy! Hmm? Oh, this is the job Crowley is supposed to do but has MC to do it for him? These are not manners, they are sorely lacking in elegance. Well ... The bird hunt is on. Rook is going to chase Crowley so hard and so viciously that our dear Principal will develop paranoia. Birdman nearly had a heart attack when an arrow brushed too close by when he was in the hallway giving MC even more work! And every time Crowley wants to give more work or blackmail him for money and essentials Ramshackle, a new arrow appears. Always closer, always more threatening. Our dear hunter said to himself that it would be nice to take MC to take his mind off things, why not have a barbecue? He will personally take care of the meat. Everyone loves chicken.

Ortho: Has already offered to destroy the school with his self-integrating weapons and threatened to reduce Crowley to ashes with his subatomic cannons. No one destroys the health of their Big Sister without impunity! From the day Wheat Robot Boy stormed into his office, the Principal has avoided the flaming haired child and MC like the plague.

Lilia: He will act like the responsible adult that he is and his fatherly side will immediately come out! Lilia would be able to walk into the Principal's office with the biggest and brightest smile in Twisted Wonderland. He would obviously be accompanied by a few agents from the Child Protection and Aid Service, these people would be delighted to have a little conversation with the bird man and he cannot flee because he is trapped. in his own office. While all these beautiful people are having this lovely conversation, Lilia is going to take MC to Diasomnia and he will make his special recipe for oyster and tomato pancakes, it will surely cheer her up! And surely taking a restorative nap in the company of Silver, that would be a charming picture to watch!

Hi! Could I request Malleus, Azul, Idia, Rook, and Jade headcanons where Yuu — when not with Grim and the ADeuce duo — is oftentimes trailing after/observing them and asking questions about their magic. Because originally, Yuu was a skeptic when it comes to the supernatural/magic from their previous world and always stuck to the scientific explanation of things, and now they can't help but be a curious cat.

Okay, I think I’ve finally (kind of) calmed down from the chapter 6 adrenaline rush (maybe) 💦 To my backlog of writing requests!

Curiouser and Curiouser...

Malleus doesn’t mind your presence--in fact, he seems to welcome it. It’s such a rarity for him to be asked questions, let alone be approached by others in the first place. He doesn’t dislike it at all, so he’ll wave you along, encouraging you to follow in his path.

Malleus has a way of oversimplifying spellcasting. As a magical prodigy, spells that would take a considerable amount of energy and effort for others takes him only a flick of the wrist or the wave of a hand. He’ll pull off some impressive feat, then shrug as though it was nothing while you’re still busy picking your jaw up from the ground.

He likes seeing your shocked looks scale along with the impressiveness of his magic. Disappearing and reappearing behind you grants him a spooked gasp, but when he makes the entire Botanical Garden bloom at once? Your entire face breaks wonderfully. “Fufufu. That’s quite an expression you’re wearing, Child of Man. Let us see if I can wean one able to top that.”

When he has the chance to launch into an explanation, he can talk for hours. Malleus speaks about magic and how it theoretically works, as well as its practical applications, using examples from the Valley of Thorns to illustrate his points. It’s clear from the warmth in his eyes that he has a lot of pride in his abilities, and in his country. If you can’t believe in magic over science... at the very least, you can believe in Malleus’s love for his home.

Azul doesn’t mind answering some questions here and there (it leaves you indebted to him, and you never know when he’ll to call on you for a “favor” in return). The way he explains things is quite methodical, likening everything to a business model or some kind of transaction. “Equivalent exchange”, you might call it.

However, Azul really does not appreciate you poking around in his business! How is a merman to do his work (academic assignments, Mostro Lounge management, and sketchy dealings) if you’re hovering over him so often? You’re scaring off both his classmates and his clientele, and that’s not good for business!

Though he doesn’t outwardly express this fear, he worries that you following him around will lead to glimpsing an embarrassing moment that could be used against him! (... After all, that’s basically Jade’s job, so Azul acutely knows how this blackmailing thing works.)

He tactfully pulls you aside for a private audience, suggesting that the two of you hash out a “negotiation” of sorts. Once you’ve sat down, Azul already has a pen and a contract prepared. “If you want to cross a bridge, Ramshackle Prefect-san... or, in this case, receive my tutoring, you’ve got to pay the toll,” he explains. “Take a gulp and take a breath--go ahead and sign the scroll.”

Idia’s unique blend of magic and machinery had your interests piqued since day one... but too bad that he wants nothing to do with you! He finds your questions bothersome, especially when he’d rather be playing a video game or watching an anime than socialize.

Idia keeps trying to shoo you off or shake you off whenever you’re trailing after his tablet! In fact, he has the sound sensitivity on his tablet set to maximum just so the device can pick up your voice and footsteps from a large radius away (and he can get the jump start on distancing himself from you!)

If you happen to be lucky and catch Idia physically attending classes, he’ll pump up the volume on his headphones and pretend as though he doesn’t hear you talking. At some point, he even considers sending Ortho to laser beam you away, but ultimately decides against it since he wants to avoid getting into a lawsuit.

Idia eventually loses his patience and goes on a rant to insult you, “E-Even if I were to explain how magic works to a total noob like you, you wouldn’t even understand it! Why? Cuz I’m a genius and you can’t possibly comprehend how high level and superior my brain and my thinking are!! It’s like the difference between a level 1 NPC villager and the final boss of the last dungeon!!”

You always lose track of Rook when you decide to tail him. One second he’s there, the next second, he’s right behind you. Your breath goes short when you catch his expression. He has a dangerous look in his eyes, despite his smile, as he regards you.

“Well, now... If it isn’t you, Trickster!” Rook laughs, dispelling the tension in the air. “Forgive me for being on guard--it’s a habit, I’m afraid, of being a huntsman. You should have approached more earnestly if you wished to speak with me, none of this sneaking about business.”

Once you explain your situation, Rook eagerly agrees to assist! He can ramble for quite some time about the intricacies of magic, artfully weaving words together (sometimes in way too much detail, and then he gets sidetracked and meanders from the main idea). The big takeaway from him is that magic is very visual--so long as you can picture it happening, then it can manifest.

You can’t quite bring yourself to believe him, so you press Rook for more information. Instead of a proper answer, he mysteriously taps a finger against his lips and winks. “Not all questions have answers, and not every occurrence has an explanation. Ah--but that is the beauty of life, non? Experiencing, discovering, learning new things... There is nothing quite as beautiful!”

Jade answers your questions politely enough, but the more things you ask of him, the more... passive-aggressive and snarky his responses seem to be. ”... And that is how it functions. It is quite simple, isn’t it? Even a primary school student would be able to tell you this much.”

When you ask if you’re annoying him or wasting his time, he insists that you aren’t. “Amusing myself with the ill-informed and ignorant will never be a waste of my time.” You narrow your eyes at him and ask if he’s low key mocking you, to which he responds with a smile and a reassuring “Yes.”

As for following Jade around and observing his magic in action, well... That’s a whole new can of worms. He’s a very guarded and private person, so he detests people snooping around him even though that’s what he does for Azul. If you start trailing after Jade, you’ll soon find the situation reversed, with the eel chasing you threateningly, magical pen poised to strike you down.

He quickly corners you--and then, the curve of his smile goes from kind to cruel. “Oya. Wherever are you running off to, Prefect-san? I believe you wished to speak with me--so, by all means, please feel free to speak your mind. Those words may just be your very last.” (If magic really does exist, you hope it’s capable of reviving you once Jade’s through with his interrogation.)

Vampire MC

In case it wasn’t obvious, I’ve been in a picrew mood lately, anyways try it out yourself here :p

She’s actually only half vampire, but the vampire genes were more dominant, hence the horns

She’s from a noble family, but because of her mixed blood she has faced discrimination since birth

Met Malleus at a ball once and was the only one brave enough to speak with him; the dragon fae immediately took a liking to her for her courage

Got enrolled into NRC by accident, but her vampire side of the family didn’t bother to rectify the mistake so she ended up staying

Actually really likes NRC and even refused to transfer when her father (who found out about it late) told her to

Truth be told, she’s just glad to be away from all the political crap and befriend others who won’t judge her for her heritage

She encounters Grim the same way Yuu did in canon, and finds him interesting, so she makes him her familiar

Is glad to see Malleus again in school and becomes friends with the other Diasomnia gang

I can see her definitely getting along well with Lilia: they’re the type who look young but are super wise and knowledgeable

Also they have that mischievous side to them; they enjoy “greeting” their fellow NRC schoolmates by popping up randomly upside down

Playfully jokes with (more like lowkey threatens) the first years (especially ADeuce) that she’ll “bite them” if they start misbehaving

Always has a stash of blood bags at Ramshackle that she regularly stocks up from Sam

Since she actually has $$$, lucky Grim gets his fill of premium tuna, although if he does cause trouble she will not hesitate to take away his tuna privileges

She won’t drink blood in front of the other students, knowing that it makes them squeamish, except when she’s around the Savanaclaw guys since they don’t really mind

She met Leona one morning when she skipped class (”Vampires are nocturnal creatures, it’s too early for me to be awake yet~” She reasons)

Initially he didn’t have a good impression on her since she was Malleus’ friend, he thought she was just another pompous noble, but he slowly warmed up to her after seeing her interact with Ruggie and Jack

Takes great pride in her horns, often polishing them. No one but Grim is allowed to touch them.

“They make great stabbing tools in emergencies”, she told the others once and they were all like 👁👄👁

Oooo oh! The post you just made is so interesting! Can you do a version with how things go down in the supervillain universe? Like all the dorm heads call Yuu Prefect and Yuu freaks out internally as to how these younger version of the supervillains know their secret?

Yuu the Reporter isn’t exactly happy to hear frantic banging on their apartment door late at night. Unsurprised, but not happy.

“I know I told you all I have the 6AM shift tomorrow.” They grouse loudly as they go to open it. “So I don’t care what amazing scheme it is you want to kidnap me for, it is not my pro—”

They stop short when they see what looks like younger versions of Tsunotaro, Charon, and...is that Viper-san? The aide to Kalim Al-Asim?

The trio are huddled together miserably on their doorstep, all dressed in similar school uniforms. Tsunotaro and Charon have a blazer and a hoodie held over their heads, as if that will in any way disguise them.

“This just became my problem, didn’t it.” The reporter says glumly to the three...teenagers? They look like teenagers, Great Seven they’re so lanky and baby-faced, it’s making Yuu feel old.

Teenage Charon lets out a squeak, the edges of his hair flaring hot pink under his hoodie. Teenage Tsunotaro is just staring at them, wide-eyed and mute. Teen Viper-san swallows and says “You think?” in what is probably supposed to be a sardonic manner, but the effect is kinda ruined by his voice cracking halfway through.

It says a lot about Yuu’s life that they just open the door wider and stand aside to let the teenagers shuffle in with only a weary, “Age ray or alternate selves?”

Of course, it can never just be two or three afflicted with the supervillains.

Malleus, Idia, and Jamil are in the middle of explaining how they each came to in different lairs, running into each other on their way to the only recognizable name in the lair’s databases and running away from the screaming townsfolk in Malleus and Idia’s cases, when there’s another violent pounding at the door.

The reporter has to get Jamil to put his...magic wand? thing away before they can go see who it is. Yuu’s not sure how much damage that thing can do, but they’d rather their apartment not get turned into the scene of a brawl again, please and thank you.

The teenager insists on hovering though, as though Yuu is not a grown ass adult who can open doors on their own and not shatter like glass. He promptly gets bowled over by the three other uniformed teenagers and young adult (?) that burst in the moment the handle turns.

The younger King slams the door shut behind them, tail lashing up a storm and ears nearly flat on his head, a growl still rumbling in his chest. The teenage Octo Dealer’s glasses have been snapped clean in half. Yuu still doesn’t get why younger versions of Dr. Rosehearts and Schoenheit-san are with them, but the pair of civilians look understandably shaken.

They are all covered in glitter.

The reporter recognizes that look well. “A RSA hero found you, didn’t they?”

Schoenheit-san sneezes on glitter as he scoffs, “Hero? An overgrown manchild courting indecent exposure and awful fashion sense is more like it!”

White Neige it is then.

The reporter goes to get the first aid kit and lint roller to begin patching up the high schoolers like they’ve done countless times for the minions and supervillains before them.

So Yuu’s little apartment is now filled with high schoolers. High schoolers who are having some trouble absorbing the fact that they’re in a world where four of them are highly feared supervillains, and three of them are hapless civilians. All of them seem to be united in glaring at Grim when he strolls out of the reporter’s bedroom and asks how they all got so small.

By now, Yuu’s phone has begun blowing up with messages from the Game Night group and the other minions asking where their bosses are.

The reporter texts back that they have no idea where Snake Charmer, Poison Queen, or Royal Flush are, but they do snap a picture to send in a group message of the teenage boys who are currently bickering over who gets to sit on the couch versus the floor, and whether Leona lying down on it and taking up the whole thing is “fair” to everyone else.

Uproar in the chat.

Lilia is squeeing over how small and cute Malleus is, lookit him in his little fancy school uniform!! Sebek is both joining in with this praise, and terrified about how they can turn the young master back to his old self! Silver is asleep because he has that luxury, the lucky bastard.

Ruggie is disappointed that his boss doesn’t have anything embarrassing that could potentially serve as blackmail material to get himself a pay raise. Jack wants to arm wrestle young Leona if he’s still there tomorrow and see who would win.

Floyd and Jade want to come over to pick on Azul! Yuu says no! They say they’re coming anyway!!

Ortho is coming too!! His nii-san is now younger and needs him and there’s nothing Yuu can do about it!!

Lilia heavily implies that they all can wait until tomorrow or else.

Suddenly Yuu is no longer anticipating any more house guests tonight. Yay?

Waterboy’s weirdly excited at the picture of Jamil, and Huntsman keeps rhapsodizing about Vil’s youthful beauty, but they’re both a little odd so the reporter purposely thinks nothing of it.

Just like they think nothing of Trey’s oddly monosyllabic mother-henning over the young Riddle. He’s much smaller than the other boys—he probably just set of Trey’s big brother instincts is all. And if the rest of the Heartslaybul minions have gone strangely quiet too? They’re likely just busy searching for Royal Flush. Nothing to read into here, no sir.

Yuuken tells Yuu to call if they need any extra food or blankets for their guests or anything. He’ll try to convince their boss’s boss that Yuu’s taken ill tomorrow. For a moment, all seems right with the world.

Then Azul calls for the “prefect” to come settle the couch argument.

Yuu promptly drops the cup they were about to pour lemon tea into.

They wave off Malleus and Riddle’s concern, Azul’s apologies, and Jamil’s attempts to clear up the shards up for them, saying they were just...startled at being addressed like that.

The reporter explains that, while the students’ version of Yuu might be known as a prefect back at their school, here The Prefect is the name of a...controversial vigilante. One who foils the villainous schemes of the top seven supervillains in the city, and usually takes quite the beating while doing so. The supervillains’ ire even extends to their friend and cameraman, Yuuken, who’s only suspected of being the Prefect.

Yuu likes being on good enough terms with the supervillains that they know even if they get kidnapped, they won’t get seriously hurt. If they or any of their minions were to be given reason, however flimsy, to believe the reporter was The Prefect...

Well. Yuu doesn’t like to think about what would happen then.

The high schoolers keep shooting Yuu looks that suggest they don’t buy this flimsy explanation, but they let the subject drop mercifully, turning back to serving tea and dividing up who will be sleeping where.

Another argument erupts when the reporter offers to sleep on the floor so one or two of them can share their bed. Leona and Malleus come close to almost burning the apartment down before Yuu takes a page out of Uncle Divvy’s book and breaks out the rolled up newspaper to restore order.

Later that night, after it’s all settled and the students are all fast asleep, Yuu the Reporter has a panic attack in the privacy of their bathroom.

They don’t know how much longer they can keep this up.
