“She so happened to be shopping at Marché and we took shelter together.”

Q1: Please tell us about a memory or story related to a rainy day.

There was a time a child got swept away by the river which overflowed during a heavy downpour. I jumped in on the spur of the moment and I felt so relieved when I was able to safely rescue them. I realized once again that nature isn’t simply kind. It also has a frightening side.

Q2: It suddenly started raining. You take shelter from the rain and happen to bump into the person you’re interested in there! What do you say to them?

One time I was caught in the rain, she so happened to be shopping at marché and we took shelter together. While we were catching up and listening to each other’s stories, the rain stopped before we knew it... it felt a bit disappointing since I enjoyed talking with her so much that I didn't even notice.

Q3: Do you like rainy days? Do you hate them?

The smell of the earth and the damp air—I actually quite like rainy days as I feel more in tune with nature than usual. The lycoris noirges also look breathtaking soaked in the rain. Come take a look at them if you have time. But keep warm so you don’t catch a cold, alright?

Q4: It suddenly starts pouring while you’re out. What do you do?

Hmm. It’s true that I don’t typically carry an umbrella with me when I’m out... if it’s a light drizzle, then I’d run home. If not, then I might take shelter from the rain at some place like a bar. Adolphe and Hugo might have run there too, so we could all share a meal together and head home.
