I kinda wish that people understood that if you reblog from racists, if you kick it with racists, you will be presumed to be... A racist. No matter what you think you believe, it's your actions that count, and if what people are seeing is that you're potentially a racist, they're not usually going to "get to the bottom of it" to know your thoughts. It's not safe enough to do that. So when you're told about someone's behavior... Know that your actions reflect on you.
I should be allowed to just say “I adore you” and “I love you” and “I want to keep you in my life for as long as possible” to my friends whenever I want without it being overbearing. I’m thinking it lovingly at people. I’m beaming my overwhelming affection into my friends via undetectable radio waves
People have repeatedly asked me why I’m so scared of driving and quite frankly I think I hold a normal amount of fear towards driving. I think most people could stand to be a little more scared of driving tbh
I do love the positivity and sisterhood between trans women on this website lately, but I do want to ask you all to examine (Internally! Not on this post!) how you extend that energy to Black trans women.
Are you giving us the same grace? Showing us the same love? Creating space for us in your communities? Do you tell racists that their behavior is unacceptable? Do you listen when we point out microaggressions? Do you care about anti-racism?
If your trans love does not prioritize the safety of Black trans women then it is incomplete.
The wonderful thing about being in the Naruto fandom is that everyone returns to their Naruto phase over and over and over again. It is the rock we must constantly roll up the hill. We will always be back on our bullshit at some point.
