It’s Tarot Tuesday and tomorrow is World Stray Animal Day. As someone who works with St. Francis of Assisi, I pray for all animals that are in the shelters, on the streets, in danger, endangered, or being neglected and abused. 🐶🐱 This card says that the challenging times are behind you and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Things might still be rough until Mercury Retrograde is over but you can breathe a sigh of relief. This was good news for me! 😺 Don’t focus on the past or what happened. Weekly Tarot Reading for 4/2: This Mercury Retrograde is very intense and the cards are reflecting that. I wasn’t happy when I got the NO card so when it was followed by NOT THE RIGHT TIME I had to listen. 🛑 It’s not a good time to start anything new during a MRx. Since Twin Flame Friday lands on Good Friday and in honor of the second Blue Moon, I wanted an upbeat message. 💜 One of the most common questions I get asked in readings is “Will he/she change?” The answer is no. What you see is what you get, especially after age 35. You either accept their behavior or you move on. I was reading a Tarot book the other day and this line jumped out “You have survived the darkness. Now follow the light.” I don’t remember what card this was describing but it hit me hard. 💖 I have survived darkness. My whole life has been some form of darkness. I didn’t start to climb my way out until 2011 when I was forced to. The writing has been on the wall for a long time but I chose to ignore it. The Universe stepped in and forced the change. And as I always say, it was abrupt, harsh, disruptive, and painful. But also necessary. ⚡️ After 6 years of releasing and purging and climbing out of the darkness and releasing and purging some more, I was able to see and follow the light in 2017. Am I completely healed? No. And I’m not sure I will ever be. I am a work in progress. And that’s ok. 💚 Today is Palm Sunday and although I am not a religious person, there are some things I remember from my Catholic upbringing. I know there are many of you struggling in the darkness. You know you need to make a change yet you are afraid. Others made the choice to change and are now wondering if that was the right thing to do. Healing your wounds isn’t fun or easy. But you will survive it. When you follow the light and come out the other side, life will be completely different. As much as I wanted to participate in today’s March my body said NO! The energies of this past week have exhausted me and my older bones ache. But after spending 2+ hours on Facebook looking at all the pictures from all over the world, I’m happy and excited that soooo many young people marched today. I have marched in 2 unnecessary marches in the last 2 years and if our elected officials don’t stand up and take notice after a 3rd march, they are in trouble. Progressive change is the way to make America great. As I have said repeatedly, life is a series of cycles. Nothing can stay the same forever.
