// Hiatus: I think I need to make an announcement on this side.  This blog is gonna need to go on hiatus until further notice.  My time with writing has become either over in the rpc with my bff or on Microsoft Word with my books.  I still love all of you budlits and do still want to keep in contact.  You can message me on my other page @justafleshwoundbaby anytime, or hit me up on Discord, if you like.  I have that available for anyone who wants it.  

I miss all y’all.  I do.  Life’s just sorta been hectic and my muses need to write where the inspo strikes.  Please don’t feel like I don’t care or don’t wanna talk to you.  I do.  I just don’t have the time or energy to read and reblog fanfics lately while doing what I can with my own writing and tending to my home life.

You were missing Donald. It had been three weeks since your meeting at the roadside diner and while it had gone better than you imagined, you had resisted his offer of getting a motel room that evening, instead saying goodbye and promising that you would be in touch.

Sleeping with him then and there had felt too impulsive somehow, like all he had to do was say the right things and you’d fall back into bed with him. But yes, you missed him. You still had work and friends to keep you busy of course but it wasn’t the same - there was an empty, cold space where Donald should be. You missed his general presence sure, but it was the little things too; making sarcastic comments at the TV you were watching, his casual little pats and rubs, even the clicks and whirrs of his cybernetic arm - just knowing that he was in the same room made you feel safe and cared for.

The last three weeks you had been texting, to say good morning and night, just checking in really, but the messages were growing further and further apart. It not only made you miss him, it made you worry too. One day you’re having lunch with Lara and you think you see him, tall and blond, coat swishing as he strides through the restaurant. You stare, holding your breath until he turns and you realise your mistake, your heart aching instantly. That night you screw up your courage and call him, unable to bear the uncertainty any longer.

* * * *

He answers on the second ring.

“Hey baby.” His voice is so soft, you want to cry.

“H - hi. I wasn’t really expecting you to answer.” You admit.

“I’ve been waiting for you to call.” There’s a smirk in his voice.

“Oh yeah?” You smile.

“Yeah. I miss you.” He sighs.

“I miss you too.” You say quietly.

“So why don’t we do somethin’ about it? You free Friday night?”

“Yeah, I think so.” You definitely are.

“Well, how about you come to my place for dinner?”

“Your place?” You echo, stunned.

“Yeah” He chuckles. “Feels weird sayin’ it out loud.”

“You have a place now?”

“I moved into the apartment.” He says.

“Oh.” You answer, hollowly.

“I figured it was time to settle somewhere.”

“Sure, of course.”

“It’s decorated and stuff, kind of.” He chuckles again, awkwardly.

“I can’t wait to see it.” You gush, a bit too eagerly.

“So is 7 ok, for Friday?”

“Yes. I’ll see you then.”

Out of the Darkness

Summary: Police come to your home and arrest Mo.

A/N: Had Mo on my mind lately and inspiration simply struck, it’s not particularly jolly though. 

“It’s alright, it’s gonna be alright.” Mo’s quiet voice travelled across the chaos trying to soothe you. His blue eyes intently focused on yours, reassuring you that everything would be fine. It was difficult to believe him, not because you didn’t trust him but because of the scene in front of you - him kneeled in handcuffs, surround by cops, crimson streaming from the cut above his brow.

The ramming of the door, the barrage of commands and the sting of the harsh light had ripped you from your slumber, and Mo from your bed. Disorientated, Mo had been manhandled and tumbled down the hall by the time you were alert enough to spring into action.

Mo’s frame dominated the small living area, his bulk and strength on display as he threw each officer from him, one held by his throat in Mo’s huge and powerful hands, another at the blunt end of a high elbow.

Furniture toppled, no less than four officers were trying to subdue your boyfriend, an image devastating enough though it was the sight of black metal being aimed which caused you to scream. Mo saw you, face streaming with tears, scrambling from the officer who was holding you firm at the waist. You suspected it was your fear rather than his own that caused Mo to surrender, chest heaving as the bloodied and bruised cop cuffed him, all but naked, only cotton boxers on the cold tile floor.

He was barefoot and near naked too when they dragged him from your home and forced him into the patrol car. Your throat raw from screaming, demanding to be told why they had burst into your home in the middle of the night and arrested Mo. They gave no answers, “He’s a monster.” and “He knows what he has done.” was all they had said.

Quick Announcement...

// Heya, my budlits.  A couple of things.  One?  My computer is gonna be out of commission for a few days, cuz it doesn’t wanna let me back-up anything in One-Drive or anywhere, and I need to wipe my old Windows 10 version to get the newer Windows 10 version installed.  Unfortunately, my computer won’t just do the updates so... I gotta send it to the Geek Squad over at Best Buy, basically, to get it fixed.  Full factory reboot.  It sucks.  

Two?  I have recently hit a wall with my books.  Kinda hit a writer’s block.  Partly because my ex-ship partner and I have gone our separate ways, permanently.  I still wish her nothing but the best, but that ending left two of my book series dead in the water.  That being said, I have decided to go ahead and get back into roleplay with my bestie to rekindle some of my old muses and try my hand at some beloved canon characters, too.  Hopefully, that will stir up these dudes again, and I can get back to my main syfy/fantasy saga, as well as my paranormal trilogy, while doing some roleplay on the side.  

If anyone’s interested in following my new roleplay profile, feel free to follow @justafleshwoundbaby.  Keep in mind, it will be 21+ with plenty of smut/nsfw content, as well as kinks.  It’s going to be centered around Donald Pierce, but there will be others like Ragnar Lothbrok, Jax Teller, Gambit (the Taylor Kitsch version) and my OC muses from back in the day, too.  I’m still putting it together, so it’s just bare bones for now.  Unfortunately, it may stay that way a bit longer until I can get my computer up to date.  

Regardless, I’ll have that page, as well as this one that I’ll be writing from (private blogs from here), once things get sorted out.  I’m just gonna keep my old pages as archived inspo, so I won’t delete them.  They’ll be available to get pics/gifs from.  For those who aren’t aware of those pages, they can be found at @untamedsoutherncharm-archive, @houseofdax, and @untamedfaceclaims ...however that last one is still fairly active, but the prior two won’t be from now on.  Anyway, just wanted to let y’all know what’s up.  Thanks for your time and sorry for bein’ so all over the place.  Hopefully, this is the last time I’ll be makin’ another page.  LOL!  I’ll still be on this one, though.  That side’s just more roleplay, than anything.  But there’s gonna be lots of gifs/pics, too.  And memes or asks answered, but I won’t really do tag games on that end.  Just from here, mostly.  Alright, I’ll shush now.
