the biggest tragedy about classical education is that people think it's meant to make you become a pretentious snob that quotes plato or seneca unprompted when in truth it's meant to make you a freak who cries and shakes profusely thinking about the fucked up family dynamics from 2000 year old plays
I don't know a whole lot about Baldur's Gate 3 and the characters, but from what I've seen on Wyll occasionally crossing my dash and on other people's blogs, I get the vibe that he's such a sweet guy that he's an undeniable "show to parents without a second thought"
Yes he's the sweetest and kindest companion in the group 🥰 He's like a prince charming if you ask me. I always talk to him in camp because he's always optimistic despite what he has been through. I'm gonna romance him next on my third playthrough 😍 His entrance made me awe as well.
pspsps do you think one of the voices in the khml trailer is brain??? if so, who 👀
I do!! (I forgot if it was actually confirmed or if someone figured it out but uh. anyway)
Since Sigurd was confirmed to be the narrator of the first trailer, and I assume his lines are reused in the second trailer…by process of elimination aka thinking about which voices sound like Brain, and determining which of those lines would make sense for him to say, I think this is him speaking here:
You can also hear some of these lines more clearly in the beta -> 3:36 to 3:46 of this video
It might end up not actually being him, but that’s my hunch at least. The fact that the lines even end with the shot of him on the balcony makes me feel like it’s right
"I always thought this planet was so huge. But lookin' at it from space, I realized it's so small. We're just floatin' in the dark... kinda makes you feel powerless. On top of that, it's got Sephiroth festerin' inside like a sickness. That's why I say this planet's still a kid. A little kid sick and trembling in the middle of this huge universe.
Someone's gotta protect it. Ya follow me? That someone is us."
