omg, could you write a mike imagine?
Hero
Warnings: Henry Bowers being a jerk, not very graphic, though.
Mike Hanlon had the biggest crush on (Y/n), only, he didn’t seem to realize that he did. She was a sweet girl, and she had been the most welcoming when he had joined the Losers in the first place. However, she was also Bill’s best friend, which meant in turn that she spent most of her time with Denbrough. Mike hadn’t minded, and even now he tried not to, but it was hard seeing the girl you liked hanging out with some other guy, even if it was Big Bill.
Everything had been going smoothly. Mike got to hang out with (Y/n) and the Losers, and they went on with their summer peacefully. Everyone except for Mike and (Y/n) knew about his crush on her, and of course Richie had to tease the poor boy about it. This led Mike to realizing that he was in fact crushing on the girl. Nothing really changed, though. Mike wasn’t disturbed with the information, he simply was more aware of the jokes that Richie would crack while they were all hanging out.
Nothing changed.
Until he was being attacked by none other than Henry Bowers.
Ever since the Rock War the mullet-wearing teen had been out to get all of them, at least, more than usual. Mike knew he had to get away, but Henry had gotten the jump on him while he was going to see (Y/n) at her home. He was just a few steps away from her house when Henry, alone, knocked him off of his bike.
Mike wasn’t sure what was happening. He was put in a momentary second of shock. That quickly faded when he felt kicks being aimed all over his body. Mike knew, realistically, that getting away right then would be damn near impossible. That being said, he shielded his head and tried to curl up into a little ball so he couldn’t feel the full power of the blows. Imagine his surprise when he heard a kick and the sound of a pained grunt coming from Henry.
“Leave him alone, you jerk!” (Y/n) shouted out, her eyes narrowed as she stood in front of the balled up Mike. He uncurled himself and looked up. He realized, right then, that she had swiftly kicked Henry in the shin, making the blonde stumble back a few steps. “If you don’t leave right now, I’ll kick you somewhere worse, you got that?” She raised her fists and gave Henry the nastiest glare she could make. He eventually left, and she had dragged Mike into her house to patch up the several bloody scratches and bruises he had on his body from the attack.
He looked at her and he could feel his cheeks and ears getting warm. She was... really cool, he realized.
“Hey, (Y/n),” Mike started, pausing slightly. He wouldn’t tell her yet, but she deserves to hear something else, doesn’t she? She looks at him, giving Mike the okay as she was listening to him.
“You’re my hero.”
Tumblr media
Henry’s backstory makes me really sad, but every time I saw him mess with Mike I just wanted to punch him.
Mike will always deserve better ✰

would you do headcanons about the reader ( who's in the losers club ) being bill denbroughs best friend and mike has a crush on her?
Bill Denbrough
He’s fairly observant, so it doesn’t take long for him to realize that Mike has a crush on his best friend. Bill is protective over his best friend, especially of they’re a girl, but he doesn’t worry too much if it’s Mike, because he’s a total sweetheart and we all know this already. He’ll go as far as trying to set the two of them up on secret dates or something like that. Bill won’t rat Mike out to the rest of the Losers about his crush, but he makes inside jokes about it sometimes when around Mike and his best friend. He ships it.
Tumblr media
Mike Hanlon
He’s going to be embarrassed all of the time. It’s probably really obvious to everyone that he likes them so much, so he gets super nervous around them. He’s aware that Bill is protective too, so that doesn’t really help his anxiety. However, once Bill makes it clear that he likes the idea of Mike being with his best friend, Mike will eventually become more bold when around them. He’s very sweet, always lending them a hand with things. He’s glad that Bill keeps quiet about his crush, Richie would torture him about it.
Tumblr media
Finally some love for Mike, thanks for the request!

Bowers Gang’s Older Sister
Henry Bowers
Obviously, his sisters number one job is to try to protect him from his father, but it can’t always be avoided. Being Henry’s older sister comes along with being extremely protective. Fights between her and Butch happen quite often, much to Henry’s displeasure. He feels guilty about it, but he tries not to show it. His ego is way too big.
It’s the little things that affect him the most. Henry, even as he grows older, enjoys it when his sister reads to him. He’ll just kind of rest his head in her lap and she knows that it’s time to start reading. If anyone ever found out and asked him about it, Henry would deny it until his tongue bled. He thinks it’s kind of embarrassing.
Sticking up for the Losers. His sister knows how cruel Henry can get because of their background. Henry’s sister tries her best to fix his homophobia and racism, but it’s pretty much implanted inside of his brain like sone kind of code. The Losers she pays the most attention to are Mike and Richie. Plot twist, Henry’s sister is gay and she bonds with Richie over their homosexuality.
Tumblr media
Patrick Hockstetter
His sister desperately tries to keep Patrick in check. She knows about everything, living with Patrick making her extremely observant. This being said, she knows about the fridge. Patrick gets kind of jumpy when around his sister because she knows so much about him, he’s convinced that she’s real but he’s seriously not trying to mess with her.
Patrick is an outsider, his sister knows this. She spends most of her time making sure that no one messes with him enough for him to kill them. She knows about his solipsism, it makes him dangerous. She’s also very aware that her brother is semi afraid of her, but it comes in handy sometimes. It’s easy to keep him out of trouble that way.
His sister doesn’t like his friends, not in the slightest. However, she gets along with Vic smoothly. Gives advice to both Vic and Belch about her brother and how not to make him snap. Patrick’s sister is often referred to as the sister in the group. She tags along with them to keep an eye on Patrick. She hates Henry Bowers’ guts.
Tumblr media
Victor Criss
Is very close with his older sister. I can see Vic’s sister being kind of nerdy but chill, he likes hanging around her. However, he does a three sixty whenever he’s around his friends. He isn’t directly rude to his sister, she’d probably beat his ass, but he ignores her whenever they’re out in public. He’s well aware that Henry thinks it’s lame, so he pays his sister no mind in public.
Admires his sister a lot. She’s very accomplished and mature, doesn’t get into fights. Perfect, really. Vic doesn’t get jealous when it comes to his older sister, just really proud of her. He does have to apologize to her all of the time for how he acts when around the gang, but she understands. He’s trying to fit in and all kids go through that at some point in their lives.
It’s his sisters job to comfort him when Henry’s acting like an asshole. Like Patrick’s sister, she hangs around with them sometimes just because she wants to be around her brother more. Vic likes it too, he doesn’t have to ignore her as much to keep his reputation clean with the boys. No one punks on her though, Vic makes sure of it.
Tumblr media
Reginald “Belch” Huggins
Honestly has the best relationship with his sister. Sibling goals are real and that’s the whole thing with them. Belch is that super overprotective younger brother who acts like he’s older. Someone breaks his sisters heart? He and the boys will scare them so bad they’ll never show their face to his sister ever again.
Unlike the rest of the gang, Belch loves when his sister hangs out with them. She’s kind of like the second mom of the group (him being the first lmao). She keeps Patrick and Henry in check and she never lets things go so far. Honestly, she distracts them because she’s that fun sister. Takes the boys out and they have fun. Belch’s sister adores Vic, he’s her favorite.
Back to sibling goals, Belch and his older sister will often go on late-night car rides just to pass the time. They’ll listen to loud music and she’ll probably complain about Patrick and Henry, it’s fun for the both of them. His older sister also lets him borrow her stuff, like, he doesn’t even have to ask. Belch probably has the best older sister out of all of them.
Tumblr media
This idea popped into my head out of nowhere, and I still love it.

Would you do headcanons for Stan Uris having a crush on Eddie Kaspbrak best friend (who’s also a Loser)?
Stan Uris
Alright, first of all, he has no idea what he’s supposed to do. If they’re Eddie’s best friend they’re probably really skittish and dramatic, just like Eddie. Stan doesn’t find it annoying, Eddie’s behavior, that is, but whenever his s/o does something that seems even remotely skittish he thinks it’s the cutest thing ever.
Basically, he’s whipped for his s/o. He’ll take them bird watching, but denies anyone if they tell him it may seem like a date coughrichiecough, because it definitely isn’t a date. Stan just wants to share some interests with his s/o, if they like bird watching like him, he’s happy to go with them.
Kind of avoids letting Eddie know that he has a crush on his best friend. He knows how dramatic Eddie can get, and he doesn’t want his crush to know that he likes them yet.
Tumblr media
Eddie Kaspbrak
He notices so quickly, it’s honestly scary. Stan starts acting weird around his best friend and it creeps Eddie out. He doesn’t know what to do about the situation. They’re all friends, of course, but Eddie’s best friend is different. I can see him being super protective over them.
Richie ends up letting it slip that Stan had a crush on Eddie’s best friend and things are super weird for a long time. Eddie knows that Stan only has a simple and innocent crush, but it still kind of bothers him. Eddie ends up hogging all of his best friend’s time, and the rest of the Losers find it super annoying.
Eddie totally crashes any dates that Stan and his best friend might be going on. Going to get ice cream? Best friend doesn’t mind Eddie tagging along. Stan does, but he doesn’t make it super obvious.
Eddie knows.

They Met In the Arcade... Kind Of
Part Two
Weeks passed after Richie invited (Y/n) to be apart of the Losers Club, and she in no way was planning on letting her parents (or her brother) know that she was hanging out with a bunch of boys. Her mother was overly religious, and hanging around boys was improper. Patrick spent his free time in class groping girls, but having a few friends of the opposite gender was something that Mrs. Hockstetter was focused on more than anything. It wasn't exactly hard to hide her friends from her parents. As long as (Y/n) wasn't causing trouble they didn't pay much mind to her, it was both a blessing and a curse. (Y/n) was aware that their parents neglecting him was to blame for Patrick's Solipsism, but no one in the family ever talked about his problem... or Avery. Either way, it wasn't as easy to hide from Patrick. He was nosey, he lived to make (Y/n) uneasy. He was just sadistic like that. So far they'd been lucky not to run into the Bower's gang while her brother was with them, but who knew how long that was going to last? Not long at all, it would seem.
(Y/n) bid goodbye to her mother, she received no real answer, just a zombie-like nod in response. The younger Hockstetter sibling walks past the living room, eyes focused on the wooden door in front of her. As she was going to open the door, someone pulled her away. (Y/n) let out a squeak of surprise as she felt arms wrap around her middle section and pull her up in the air. She turned her head quickly only to see her older brother, his usual Chesire grin locked onto his face. He lived to annoy her, Patrick had been making that fact clear since summer break had started. She just wanted him to leave her alone so she could spend time with her friends.
"And where are you going at a time like this? It's only seven in the morning." Patrick coos out, not yet letting go of his sister. As she squirmed in his grip, Patrick wondered, genuinely, where she was really off to this early in the morning. (Y/n) Hockstetter had no friends, well, except for Beverly Marsh, but she didn't count. The Arcade, perhaps?
"... I'm just going out. Can you let me go?" (Y/n) says bluntly, her (E/c) eyes narrowing as she tries to make Patrick let go of her. As much as she may have loved her older brother, he could be a total creep sometimes.
He didn't believe her, not in the slightest, but Patrick decided he should let her go anyways. Nothing ever came from him bothering her for too long, she had gotten used to his annoying behavior.
Watching as (Y/n) slung her bag over her shoulder and watching her leave, Patrick wondered seriously where she could have been going. Who she could have been going to see.
(Y/n) Hockstetter had no friends.
No one liked her... right?
Richie paced back to the door of the Arcade, looking out of the thick glass windows as his eyes searched for (Y/n). She told him yesterday to meet her at the Arcade, but to not make himself too noticeable. Her brother followed her around and thought that he was being sneaky about it.
'News flash: he isn't. I need you to act like you barely know me so he doesn't think that I'm ditching him and his gang for you. If he finds out I won't be able to hear the end of it.'
Those had been (Y/n)'s exact words, and Richie couldn't have guessed that the eldest Hockstetter sibling could have been that creepy towards his sister. Richie Tozier was willing to do it, though. Alas, he wasn't a good actor. Richie also deduced that Patrick was good at being sneaky when he followed (Y/n) around, she was just good at knowing he was there. Maybe that was a sibling thing? Richie wasn't sure, he just knew he couldn't find Patrick for the life of him.
"Is... is he gone? I can't tell." Richie whispers into his friend's ear, chuckling a little bit, albeit nervously. (Y/n) smiles softly, pushing Richie's large glasses upon his face before revealing that Patrick had been gone for about five minutes already. "Wait... what? How? Why didn't you-"
(Y/n) lets out a soft laugh, pulling the straps of her bag over her shoulders.
"I realized a week ago why everyone calls you Trashmouth, Richie Tozier." (Y/n) says, her eyes lighting up as she nudges Richie with her shoulder. He flushes red, beginning to say something, but is cut off by (Y/n). "It's okay though. I saw Vic and Belch outside of the Arcade. I made an educated guess and I thought that you'd rather stay out of their way. I know I do."
Richie laughs, it seemed almost iconic to him.
"Aren't they friends with your brother? Why would they want to bother you? Wouldn't Hockstetter beat their asses or something?" Richie questions, walking with (Y/n) out of the dark-lighted Arcade. "I wouldn't exactly call it being his friends. They hang out because Patrick's a bully."
They started on their way to see the rest of the Losers. Their current meeting spot was of course in the Barrens. Beverly wanted to invite (Y/n) to the Quarry, but Richie didn't think he could physically handle that yet. Coming close to their meeting spot, (Y/n) grabbed Richie's hand as they slid down a steep hill. Beverly, Ben, and Eddie were at the bottom, waiting for everyone else.
(Y/n) could have sworn she saw Ben holding Beverly's hand, but she decided against asking about it.
"Bill and Stan aren't here yet?" She questions, swiftly sliding her glasses off of her face before wiping them off with the inside of her shirt.
Beverly shakes her head, a flush on her face was evident.
"No. He's picking up Mike, but I'm guessing they got caught up with some of Henry's friends." Ben explains, drawing small shapes into the ground with a large branch he had found resting on the ground.
"Not possible," started Richie. "while we were at the Arcade we saw Vic and Belch, Henry's never too far away when they're around."
"Maybe... hey, (Y/n)?" Bev looked over at the (H/c) girl with a curious expression. "Wanna go to the Quarry? It'll be fun!"
Fuck, Richie thinks bitterly.

They Met In the Arcade... Kind Of | Richie Tozier x Reader
Richie hadn't met (Y/n) Hockstetter in the arcade. That had been their first proper meeting, sure, but he had seen her around before. She was infamous. Not because of something she'd done, but because of her older brother. Kids were mean, and kids talked. It was, in Vic Criss's own words, a miracle that she was even alive. It was a well-known fact that Patrick Hockstetter was a murderer, adults in Derry were just that oblivious to those kinds of things that happened in their town. Besides, Richie heard that Mrs. Hockstetter was a devout catholic, she probably couldn't stand the thought of her oldest child being responsible for her infant's death. While (Y/n) was only around two at the time, people just concluded that she too was a nut case. She wasn't, from what Richie could tell, she was just really quiet. He'd only heard her talk a hand full of time, all of which happened while they were in class. She was pretty though, that he had to admit. Like him, she had glasses. They didn't make her eyes obscenely big like his glasses did, but they were big enough to make her look like a cute little nerd.
Richie had realized a few weeks before winter break that he had a crush on a girl he knew nothing about. It was so stupid and he hated himself for it, but... fate was apparently on his side. When school let out, Patrick and the rest of Henry's goons decided to get their final lick in before summer fully started. It was a normal occurrence for the Losers, and that meant that none of them were expecting the usually quiet and polite (Y/n) to defend them. She had quietly walked over to Patrick, whispered something in his ear, and then the fools were on their ways. She had turned to Richie, giving him an almost bashful look before she walked away. Eddie, Stan, and Bill looked over at Richie with surprised expressions.
"Are... do you know her?" Stan questions, his eyebrows pinching together as he looks at the girl who was slowly walking towards the direction of the Derry Library. Richie pushes his glasses up on his nose, a heat rising on his cheeks as he looks over at the rest of the Losers.
"... no suh!" Richie answers, a sudden smile overcoming his face as he lets a bad impression fall from his big mouth.
Richie had been in an oddly good mood ever since his run-in with Henry's goons, it had led to him having an encounter with his crush, so that was good. Now though, it was time for games. The Arcade was Richie's favorite place besides the Barrens or the Quarry. It was fun, being surrounded by games wherever you went.
Walking inside, Richie went looking for the Street Fighter game box before he stopped dead in his tracks. It wasn't Henry Bowers or Patrick Hockstetter. Richie didn't stop because of fear and he didn't stop because of the erratic beating in his chest was a bad feeling. He had stopped, hurriedly pushing up his glasses as he watches something that he'd never seen before. She was standing at the Pac-Man game, her (E/c) irises focused on the yellow creature as she moved the joystick. Richie knew it was her even though she had changed her clothes. She was wearing one of her brother's shirts, the long white one with that dumb cat face on it, simple shorts and tights, and of course, her red faded converse. Her backpack was slung over her shoulder, though it didn't look like it was weighing her down. The bag was half open and Richie could peak a coke bottle poking out along with something fuzzy inside of her bag.
It was a fleeting thought.
Was (Y/n) Hockstetter a gamer girl?
That had been Richie's thought before she was suddenly in front of him. They were eye-to-eye, and Richie could see her glasses slowly sliding down her nose. Being this close to her made a heat sneak up on Richie's neck for the second time that day. She was holding her bag close to her chest and it became obvious to Richie that she probably thought that he was a total creep. He had been standing in the middle of the Arcade just looking at her while she played her game and it made him seem like a total loser. That wasn't far from the truth, but still.
"Uh... hey?"
"I'm surprised, you know." (Y/n) says, sipping from her coke bottle, a book in hand as she and Richie walk down the street together. He laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. He had just got done telling her everything, obviously not the fact that he liked her because then Patrick Hockstetter would be on his ass even more than usual.
"What?" Richie asks, looking over at her, watching as she wipes off her glasses with the inside of the shirt she was wearing. She slipped them on, looking over at Richie.
"The fact that you want to be friends. Everyone thinks I'm a killer, I'm sure you know that, too. You're not stupid, Richie." (Y/n) says slowly, almost as though she was trying to form her words right. It made sense, the only person she seemed to talk to was Beverly Marsh and her older brother.
Richie flushes slightly, a small huff leaving him. Her statement made him feel like he owed her an explanation. He probably did, but if he was being honest... he just really wanted her to hang out with him. It wasn't because he was completely and totally in love with (Y/n) Hockstetter, it was just that he thought she was cool... and cute. Pushing his crush aside, like he knew he would have to because her brother was a total ass, Richie just wanted to be friends.
And she looked pretty willing too.
Tumblr media
Alright, this is going to be a short story between the reader and Richie. It's going to be about awkward kids liking each other, and I might make a sequel for once they're in like high school or something. Let me know what you guys think!

Could you do headcanons for being best friends with Eddie Kaspbrak?
[Eddie Kaspbrak]
Acts like a total mom, no joke. Sees a bruise? Eddie nearly passes out from shock and concern. He’s like an overbearing mom, but in the cute way. The other Losers will poke fun at Eddie because of it, but that doesn’t mean he’ll stop. It’s cute, though.
Eddie’s best friend sticks up for him when he’s being bullied, of course. This leads to them getting bullied too, so Eddie feels responsibility for that. He’ll try to keep his best friend away from the Losers so they don’t get bullied even further, but they end up becoming apart of The Losers Club anyway.
Doesn’t want to bring his best friend around his mother, but knows it’s going to end up happening anyway. He thinks, for some odd reason, that once his mother meets them they’ll be scared off.
If his mother ends up liking his best friend, Eddie’s happy of course. It means a lot to him, and he’s just glad that his mother won’t be pressuring him into getting away from his best friend.
If his mother doesn’t like his best friend, he’ll simply just keep them away from each other. He doesn’t see the point in being away from someone he likes so much, so he just won’t let his mother know about it.

Being Henry Bowers’ Little Sister and Also Being Apart Of the Losers Club
[Henry Bowers]
He’s never payed that much mind to what his little sister did in her free time, at least not until he realized she was hanging around a bunch of boys. It messes with his head even more when he finds out who she’s hanging with exactly.
Those stupid little losers, the Losers, and that infuriates Henry. However, he isn’t going to start something dramatic, because even he can see that his sister is happy with those little bastards. He’s not happy about it, obviously, but for the most part he leaves it alone.
Doesn’t mean he leaves them alone though. He’s still the town bully and he’d be damned if he just left them alone because they were friends with his little sister. It definitely wasn’t going to happen.
He’s just not as bad, plus they have a little bit of a savior on their side.
“You guys are lucky, little fuckers.”
Tumblr media
[The Losers Club]
At first, they couldn’t tell who her brother was. She was too nice, too much like them, too much of a loser. But then, out of fucking nowhere, she tells them her full name. Bowers stuck out to them, made them a little worried, but they were already friends so what else were they supposed to do.
She apologizes for her brother and the way he acts, and they trust her just like they always have. Everything is completely fine until the mullet-wearing asshole finds out and decides to get all angry and pissy.
They knew, somehow, that it was going to happen. And all of them were expecting Henry to come after him... but he didn’t. He left all of them alone for a while, until the routine started up back again.
It didn’t last, they had his sister as a Loser. She’d protect them, in a way, she was a savior.
“Suck on that, Bowers!”

Younger Siblings
[Bill Denbrough]
He’s so protective, but that should be very obvious. Bill has a very hard time trusting other people around his younger sibling, especially the adults in Derry. Due to his overwhelming protectiveness, his younger sibling goes everywhere with him, including school and small adventures with the Losers. It’s cute. Very cute. His sibling is younger than him, obviously, so he gets odd stares in class while a tiny version of himself clings to his leg as he sits down.
Tumblr media
[Stan Uris]
Less protective and more ‘don’t do that, you’ll hurt yourself’. His friends accuse him of bullying his younger sibling, but it isn’t true, not necessarily anyway. Don’t be fooled though, if he hears about his younger sibling being bullied, him and the rest of the Losers are going to beat some little kid up, no matter how old they might be. He’s that brother who looks like he doesn’t care, but in reality he cares way too much.
Tumblr media
[Eddie Kaspbrak]
The mom brother, but this was to be expected. He’s utterly smothering when it comes to the well being of his younger sibling, it’s like having two mothers. However, he doesn’t let their mother give his younger sibling illnesses. If he sees his mother trying to force unneeded medicine onto his sibling, Eddie will promptly flip the fuck out. He’ll take them to the doctor himself to make sure nothing is really wrong with them, he’s a good older brother.
Tumblr media
[Richie Tozier]
So, so, so very annoying. Will constantly bug his sibling about stuff, really stupid stuff. Despite being an annoying little shit, he’s one of the most protective brothers out there. Bullying does not fly, especially if his sibling is getting bullied by someone from the Bowers gang. Another Rock War will ensue, and Richie will get himself knocked out. According to him, it’s all worth it, but he’ll still be annoying. When his sibling gets older, the Losers call them Trashmouth 2.0, Richie rubs off on them.
Tumblr media
[Mike Hanlon]
A nervous wreck. He gets bullied all of the time, and doesn’t want the same happening to his sibling. Mike will, and I mean this, take as many blows as he has to to make sure that his sibling is alright. God forbid if something does happen to them, he’ll be a complete wreck. Since Henry Bowers is their neighbor, Mike makes sure that his younger sibling never bumps into them, but if he does, it’s a very short meeting.
Tumblr media
[Ben Hanscom]
The cutest older brother, honestly. However, whenever he’s wing bullied, he tends to hide it from his family, including his sibling. When they eventually find out that he’d being bullied, it admittedly causes some kind of fight, though not a long one. After finding out that their brother is being bullied, his sibling sticks next to Ben and tries to defend him from any bullies, Henry Bowers and his gang of idiots. He feels bad about it, but it makes them have a much closer bond.
Tumblr media
[Beverly Marsh]
She, out of everyone, has the closest bond with her sibling. They’ve been through so much together, and that does certain things. Beverly spends almost all of her time with her sibling, and makes sure that they’re safe. Once she joins the Losers her sibling becomes one too, because they stick together through everything. If any of the Losers try and poke fun of her for being so close with her sibling, she won’t care, she isn’t ashamed.
Tumblr media
[Henry Bowers]
The second most close to his sibling, though he doesn’t let it show. Henry makes sure that his younger sibling is tough, makes sure they can fend for themselves. He seems a little tough on his sibling, but I don’t see him bullying them into anything. Due to their home situation, Henry tries to make his sibling tag along with him and the gang, he doesn’t want anything to happen to them because he was gone acting up.
Tumblr media
{I keep imagining if Henry’s little sister was apart of the Losers Club and now I can’t get it out of my head.}

Losers! [Chubby Reader]
⛓ | summer |
For some, the last day of school could be sorrowful. However (Y/n) couldn't help but feel a little relieved. She wasn't worried about not seeing her friends until school started up again, Richie was her neighbor and she practically spent all of her time with either Eddie or Bill. Though recently she'd been hanging around the nice boy Mike Hanlon. Though a bit shy, he was sweet and gentle, something (Y/n) wasn't really used to. Though she was apart of the Losers Club and hung around all boys, she was never really a tough girl. Some could have said it was due to her abusive home, but nor her or the boys thought so. If it was really because of her constant abuse, then she'd be strong, not weak. Her mother was the villain in her story, and that woman scared the daylights out of the chubby girl.
(Y/n) feared nothing like she feared her own mother.
Usually you'd see the father being the abusive one, but that wasn't something (Y/n) could ever see happening to herself. Her father, Matthieu Snow, was the kindest man in Derry, Maine. No one could ever convince her otherwise, either.
Despite her horrid home situation, she was often finding herself distracted these days. Her best friend Eddie Kaspbrak had been locked up in his house for a few days, no doubt to the fault of his overprotective mother. (Y/n) was bored out of her mind. While Eddie sure wasn't the most exciting person to be around, she found the boy to be wholesome, reminding her of a lost puppy almost. Like mentioned before, she wasn't strong willed, so she didn't have the guts to show up at the Kaspbrak residence to go and ask to see Eddie. Sonya was terrifying to (Y/n), intimidation making her hesitant to even go near Eddie's house. It was extremely annoying, because she couldn't find Richie either. Her last bet was Mike, but then she'd have to take the risk of bumping into Henry Bowers, something that too, just like her own mother or Sonya Kaspbrak, scared the girl numb.
Instead, she went to find fun elsewhere, by herself. The arcade was the first place that jumped into her precious little head. Though she hated being alone, she knew that a good game of PAC-MAN or Street Fighter could cheer her right up, distract her from her loneliness. She should have known, of course, that Richie Tozier would be at the beloved arcade, training, as he called it.
The arcade was dark, but the neon lights from the various game machines lit up the place like a huge Christmas tree. The only adults to be seen was the owner of the arcade and a few man-children, ones her father would tell (Y/n) to stay away from in the future.
'Whether you marry a man or not, stay away from those boys who still live with their mothers past the age of twenty.'
She could see why, of course. As soon as she was able to understand the complexities of boys, she knew what kind of person she'd want to marry in the future. Whenever she thought about it, Mike ended up coming to her mind, as odd as it may have sounded. She wasn't interested romantically, or at least she didn't think she was. (Y/n) had no idea what love was, and wasn't sure if she really wanted to know. Love, according to some of the girls at school, entailed showing your private bits to every boy who asked, and (Y/n) knew for a fact that she wasn't that type of girl, in fact she was sure that she never would be.
"Fuck!"
The vulgar manner of speaking belonged to none other than Richie Tozier himself. The boy groaned to himself in irritation as he lost a battle in SF, pushing his large glasses up with one finger. He catches a hint of light blue and turns around only to see the chubby girl he'd come to know over the years. Richie wasn't sure what had made (Y/n) a loser, but she was one... a very cute one. He didn't give a damn about her weight, she was too cute and it killed Richie. Her sweaters and ripped up jeans, high top converse, it all made her so... LOSER. It didn't bother Richie in the slightest, damn he'd say he loved her weird sense of style.
He'd wanted to ask her to join him in the arcade just as school let out, but like always she had run off with Eddie. Was it disappointing? Yes. But did that really matter now? Not really.
Richie could guess from her bored expression and no one accompanying her, that Eddie Kaspbrak was indeed locked away in his house. She only ever wandered around when there was no one else from the Losers Club to hang out with. However, she always seemed to find one of them anyway, just as she'd found Richie in the arcade.
He smiles goofily, stepping away from the video game machine and walks towards the shy girl. Sliding his extra coins into his pocket, Richie comes up behind (Y/n) as she was momentarily distracted, staring at the greasy seeming floor of the arcade with slight disgust. She loved the arcade, she really did, but couldn't they make it a bit cleaner?
Sneakily, Richie wraps his arms around her shoulders, scaring the living crap out of her.
"HOLY FUDGE!" She squeaks out, looking behind her only to see the toothy smile of Richie Tozier. She really should have known it'd be him, after all, who'd just come up behind some girl and squeeze them like that?
"Gotcha! Where's Eds?" Richie asks, letting her go. He kind of already knew the answer, but the girl in front of him didn't know that. She huffs cutely, fiddling with the ends of her light blue sweater. Richie was of course the one who scared her, her neighbor.
"Mrs. Kaspbrak won't let him leave the house, so I came here." (Y/n) explains, looking a bit sad. Though she definitely loved all of the Losers, Eddie was by far her favorite. After all, she'd known him for such a long time, what was she supposed to do without him?
"I was going to find Mike, but then I'd have to pass Henry's house and that definitely wasn't going to happen. After all of that I was boredom so I came to the arcade."
Hearing her explanation, Richie couldn't help but flinch. Earlier that day he'd seen Bowers walking around with his dumb goons, Belch and Vic. The freckled Tozier knew very well how scared they made (Y/n), and he had a sick feeling in his stomach telling him that they weren't too far away. It didn't matter though, Richie thought to himself cheerily. He would be there to protect (Y/n), because he was in every way, a man. He'd be damned if he'd let some dumb Henry Bowers scare him off. Still... it'd be good to stay away from the easily irritable teen. There couldn't be any harm in staying inside the darkness of the greasy arcade, right? Sure, it wasn't the best place to hang out with a cute girl, but shoot, she didn't seem to mind either.
"You're still here? I thought you'd at least go home for a nap." She says, snapping Richie out of his thoughts. He lets out a funny sounding laugh, that type of laugh he gave whenever he was nervous but trying to keep a good mask on.
"Yeah well, I might have seen Bowers outside of the arcade earlier, so I wasn't about to leave." Richie says, letting out another weird laugh. She was half expecting him to go back to his game, but he instead grabbed her hand and dragged her away from where they were standing. A soft squeak left her as Richie pulled her down underneath a dusty table, pushing her to the ground while holding a hand to her mouth.
He looked scared, she realized.
She also realized that Henry Bowers himself was snooping around the arcade, eyes glowering dangerously. She, of course, didn't know how long he'd been there, but he seemed like he knew what he was looking for. He didn't happen to see her enter the arcade, did he? A sudden feeling of guilt washes over (Y/n). Richie was just having a grand time before she decided to show up and ruin everything. There would hav been a huge chance that she was completely wrong, but she couldn't help the disgusting, slimy feeling.
The feeling she'd done something wrong.
Whimpering, she pulls Richie closer to her, her eyes wold as she watches the bully stalk through the dusty arcade. The neon lights of the games seemed to illuminate Henry's face, making the experience that much more horrible. He looked... terrifying.
Though he was trying to act brave in front of (Y/n), Richie was sweating, and he was sure she could feel it. His hand that was still covering her mouth was sweating. When he realizes this, he doesn't think much of it. Though he was sure if Eddie was there they'd get caught. The hypochondriac would flip his shit if he saw Richie touching (Y/n)'s mouth, it was, for some reason, a big no no.
Eventually, Henry passes.
Richie grabs his friend by the scuff of her light blue sweater and yanks her right out from under the dirty table, dragging her quickly out of the arcade.

"I'm sure he didn't just follow you into the arcade." Stan says, flipping through his bird book with an uninterested expression. Really, Richie brought out the worst in (Y/n). He brought out her paranoid side, and it was showing obviously right then.
The two eleven year olds were nearly screaming at Stan about their terrifying encounter with Henry Bowers. (Y/n) wasn't yelling like Richie was, and she definitely wasn't cussing like he was, but she still seemed panicked. If it had been just her that came to Stan, he would have believed her and tried to comfort her, but of course Richie was there. The trash mouth was always putting stupid idea into (Y/n)'s mind, and Stan was fed up with it. She was, unlike some of the Losers, a good kid. She got good grades, she was nice, and she was undeniably cute. She just seemed to choose to hang around with the wrong people.
People like Richie Tozier.
"Are you sure this actually happened? Or is this some stupid fantasy Richie put in your head?" Stan questions, rubbing the back of his neck hole looking at the wide eyed (Y/n) and Richie. The two of them were sweating, near tears, and motioning with their hands wildly. It was an odd scene, you could imagine. Suddenly (Y/n) stopped to stare at Stan with a monotone expression.
"Of course it happened!" She exclaimed, her eyes searching for any kind of doubt in Stan's expression. He sighed, pressing a hand down to close his bird book.
"Are you sure, though?" Stan asks, rubbing his eye slightly. He looked, above all, bored. His first day of summer break had been going pretty slow. He knew he was probably supposed to be studying for his Bar Mitzvah, but he wasn't exactly in the studying kind of mood. He had, initially, gotten himself into a better mood when he saw (Y/n), but this ridiculous story, or maybe it wasn't so ridiculous, had put him right back where he started.
She stopped to give Stan a look, that look. In all rationality, (Y/n) was the mom of the group. That look, it was the kind of look a scolding mother would give her young child for coming home too late or something similar. Stan never really payed attention to it, but he guessed that it wasn't just some fantasy Richie had put in her head. She only ever gave him that kind of look when she was serious about something, that Stan knew.
"Stan."
"Alright, I believe you."
"Didn't take too much to convince you." Richie muttered, wiping his sweaty palms on the material of his jeans.

Stan, Richie and (Y/n) had spent their first day of summer break walking around Derry. Running around with ice cream, soda, and several other things. They had caught Bill running around as well, and he had hitched with them too. Besides the encounter at the arcade, there had been no sightings of Henry Bowers or his stupid goons, and all of them were glad.
"I wonder... how long do you think Eddie will have to stay locked up?" (Y/n) asks, looking at Bill and Richie as the sun started to disappear from the sky, leaving the pink cotton candy to float around. Bill, handing her another cone of vanilla ice cream, lifted his lips up in a small smile.
"What? Can't deal with us by yourself?"
Richie snorts while (Y/n) takes a bite of her ice cream, it was her third one that night, but no one in the group was complaining.
"No... I just miss him."
Once again, Richie snorts.
"Hey, Marshmallow."
The Losers freeze.

{I'm reading the book, so things may be different, but I've also watched the 2017 movie, so that's the character design I'm thinking of. Probably not going to go in when they're adults, I prefer the younger version just because. This book is a little bit of an AU, not a lot of major character death happens. Trigger warnings for death and abuse, but it's not really that bad.}
