Here we go again 😂 this time Zoro is lost and we’re found in Penang,Malaysia ( MY COUNTRY RAHHHH ) What makes it so funny Sanji is there cooking Mee Goreng Mamak ( Mamak Fried Noodles ). Even in this verse, NOBODY CAN SEPARATE ZOSAN.

And the comment sections 😭😭 Sesat means lost.

Anyway FYI, the mural project were done by students from SMK Tasek Gelugor ( a secondary school ) in Penang, Malaysia. I thought it’s good to share to one piece community here too.

One piece is a huge thing here in Malaysia of course! Even my students at my workplace knew one piece and ask my favourite arc & characters. That’s how I bonded over with them!

Ichiji's right eyebrow being wonky is something that I'm not too sure about, because as an artist I understand that mistakes happen when you're really tired. I very often screw up my drawings when I'm tired too. Missing details, accidentally drawing something backwards or mirrored, drawing wrong accessories on the wrong person, etc.

But there are two examples where I felt like it looks too glaringly-visible to screw up:

As an example, there has been multiple times when I draw Sanji or his bros with their eyebrow backwards, so errors do happen sometimes. But the curl actually just flat out missing like this is a bit weird.

There's other panels where you can argue that it was meant to be covered by hair, but sensei just accidentally drew the hair parting too far to the left. The two above are just too dead-on to be missed.

And my whole point of bringing this up is the above examples also happen to be incidents where Ichiji is clearly displaying intense emotions.

The child panel, for example. Ichiji has been shown to be irritated at Sanji in other scenes, but this is the only time that he got so angry he started beating up Sanji. In all other times, he just watched, and Niji and Yonji are the ones doing the beating.

See below, how the brow under the bangs seems like it's drawn in the same manner as how Sanji's one is drawn, and see how different it looks when the curly brow is properly drawn:

Ichiji just looks so intensely enraged at that moment, it feels like there has to be something else that is wrong here.

I left that first one as the raw, because what he says (生意気) in this context seems to be better translated as "How impudent/how insolent". Why is he this angry about being hit? Why is he so angry that Sanji is "different"? Why say "don't touch me"? That punch was obviously weak and did nothing.

Judge was just unimpressed when Sanji tried to fight him, so what is Ichiji so angry about?

(incidentally, this is probably why a few people got concerned when Sanji called Vegapunk "insolent man")

As of now, we don't know what's happening yet, but you don't see this level of reaction from Niji and Yonji.

I have previously wondered if Ichiji's modifications are actually also "messed up", and that the eyebrow being weird might be indicative of that.

There were also panels where it seems like he's having emotional moments, like the adult Ichiji panel I highlighted on top (details and explanation in this post). If the weird eyebrow is explicitly happening during the emotional outbursts... that sort of makes him Sanji's reverse, which possibly implies that when Sanji's brows flip, it also looks like this:

There's also other lore analysis/theory I have that really points to Ichiji and Sanji being mirrors/opposite counterparts, which I probably might write up later, and if all of that is true, I don't know yet what sensei's intention for it is.

There's one additional scene where you might be able to argue the curl is also missing, but this one is not as glaringly strange as the first two:

If that was actually not a mistake, it's another point to the "display of emotion" argument.

It's less obvious in English, but in Japanese, he was using a rather unusually rough speech in this very specific panel. There's not enough dialogue to be truly certain that this is out of the ordinary, but again, if this is actually something that's not normal and the eyebrow is actually also weird... well, we have questions to be asked.

So do all women see Sanji with his pulled up sleeves exposing his forearms, beautiful tender fingers holding amidst his cigarette that briefly touches the in-between his lips, they see his blue orbs sunk in his rested eyes, his somewhat long blond hair and that amazing drip of his always fully on suit (extra points if he’s wearing gloves) AND they don’t go absolutely insane?

ok let’s that this slide but addition to all these, some of them get to know his gentle nature, witness his radiating and genuine smile, bad classic boy aesthetic but you talk to him and he’s an absolute sweetheart? Now what excuse do they have for not falling in love?

Do you want to know when does Luffy resemble his dad; Dragon the most? WHEN LUFFY IS GRUMPY or has that lazy/judging eyes 😂

And from my eyes here, this luffy when he was imprisoned at Udon Prison was really giving the dragon vibe for some reason. The way Luffy was calm and thinking what to do as he is hungry. He looks like an adult here.

Like I said dragon’s rizz were passed down to Luffy successfully too. Like look at Luffy and his dad when he was young, Dragon look so foine!

Also have you seen Garp when he was young? Yeah they are related through DNA. I think oda is gradually and slowly making Luffy aged to be looking like his dad and grandpa in very subtle way. I mean yeah its art style but still its fascinating to see how Oda making effort to make Luffy,Dragon & Garp look alike yet different in fonts you know what I mean

Well doing some doodling or sketches on the og east blue straw hat first. It’s been long time since I have been drawing so I need to find back the rhythm and art style that usually do. I have been gaining back my interest which is drawing ofc. Maybe it’s because I have been properly healing up mentally.

Excuse me for the imperfections 😭 especially usopp one. Usopp looks more feminine than I thought 🤦‍♀️ ( in my eyes at very least )

It’s just my random thoughts tho and it’s about Brook’s devil fruit ability. Besides second chance of living… Since he can go to underworld, can he sees the dead spirits that stick around with their loves one or more specifically becomes a spirit guardians for the person who still alive?

My HC is that after 2 years of training and gain the ability to go to underworld, he actually can see the spirit of dead people. So when he comes back to the crew and during their voyage in new world, he saw the others Straw Hats’ spirit guardians.

Just imagine Brook had some tea session with the Straw Hats’ spirit guardians alone during post-timeskips. That’s why he is very wise and knows his crew mates very well despite being only with the crew for mere few weeks before got separate during Sabaody.

He sees Ace, Kuina, Sora,Nico Olivia, Dr.Hiruluk, Tom , Usopp’s mom; Banchina , Nani’s mom ; Bellemere & of course his former captain, Yorkie. 😭😭 He must be thinking if only the devil fruit power he had, he can resurrect people. He would definitely do it but it’s opposed the human nature.

And the way in WCI, he dominated all the Chess Keepers as he can eliminate the human soul too

I had a problem… I read manga too damn fast 🥹 now I regret not buying volume 2,3,4 & 5 just now 😮‍💨 BUT IM BROKE ASF AFTER PAYING THOSE TWO BOOKS.

Read digitally vs Read on a physical book is just so different imo.

Digitally well you can zoom in to look at details and all but sometimes I tend to skip a few panels as I felt like the chapter is too long 💀 and my eyes got tired over time.

But reading manga physically is different. I felt like more engaged and more focus reading the context of each panel. I also didn’t skip and when I finish I was like “ HUH? It’s that short? NOT ENOUGH! MORE”

I thought I would get a copy for volume 106 & 107 too since for manga I already read digitally but the Kinokuniya here didn’t have 106,107 & 108 yet. The latest they had is volume 105.
