I’ve been playing pokemon platinum over the summer, my first ever complete playthrough, and I decided to commemorate it with a team pic depicting a fun moment in the playthrough! The read more will have more info on the team and the scene.

Team:

1) Pippin/Empoleon ♂️; Bashful and strong willed, and likes all food. Starter.

2) Thistle/Luxray ♂️; Jolly and strongly defiant, likes sweet food. Met as a shinx at lvl 4 on route 202.

3) Musketeer/Roserade ♂️; Docile and likes to run, likes all food. Met as a budew at lvl 4 on route 204.

4) Omelette/Togekiss ♀️; Jolly and somewhat vain, likes sweet food. Cynthia egg that I hatched in Eterna City.

5) Midnight/Lucario ♀️; Brave and scatters things often, likes spicy food. Riley egg that I hatched in Solaceon Town.

6) Mead/Mamoswine ♀️; Lax and quick to flee, likes sour food. Met as a swinub at lvl 33 on route 217.

Ok! So the scene with Midnight was basically, I’d hatched her as riolu and had been grinding her up to help take on Byron. At some point I plateaued on exp to time it took to battle ration, and she was 2-3 levels below the gym trainers at the gym and 4-5 levels below Byron’s team. A little under leveled, which if anyone’s played gen 4 before knows can be absolutely devastating if the other trained crits and/or gets off a super effective move regardless of being only 2 levels difference, but figured she’d gain a level or two fighting against the trainers in the gym and could help out with Byron’s team in a pinch. Mostly tho I was counting on Pippin and Omelette (who knew fire blast) to carry the fight against Byron (didn’t have Mead yet). Then the unthinkable happened, Midnight out sped and decimated all the trainers’ pokemon in the gym with 2-hit KOs (with rock smash), picked up a couple levels to get aura sphere. I was pretty thrilled and healed her up before fighting Byron, thinking maybe she’d be able to take on one of his pokemon by herself despite being under leveled! So I send her out still thinking I’d rely mostly in Pippin and Omelette, only for her to out speed Byron’s pokemon and one-shot them with aura sphere despite being under leveled. The underleveled baby of the team absolutely annihilated Byron, my jaw was on the floor and I was so proud of my baby. ;7;

Have a Keigo falling out of a drop coaster, to the horror of Rumi, Rei, and Natsuo next to him. And the horror of other park goers, Dabi, The Midoriyas, Shouto, and Fuyumi below. Don’t worry he turns out fine! They just have one funny as shit ride photo after the fact. (for full photo context read belooow)

Ok so this whole photo is a big fluffy Canonverse AU where where DabiHawks happens after the heroes save the league, Twice, Magne, and Nemuri are alive because we said so. BUT the todo fam (sans Enji), Keigo, Rumi, and the Midos go out for a day to Bisney World Tokyo (lol). Of the Todos Dabi, Fuyumi, and Shouto experience motion sickness on rides so don’t do any big coasters, and the Midos don’t mind coasters but only go on some of them, same with Natsuo and Rei.  Rumi and Keigo? Coaster Adrenaline Junkies, only one problem…. most of the big coasters Keigo doesn’t meet the height or weight requirements (he is a short king with hollow bones).  After multiple failures and doing the walk of shame from many a coaster, he decides to stuff his shoes for the next drop ride ride! Only… height and weight minimums are there for a reason and that reason slip risks.  

Rumi and Keigo get Natsuo and Rei to join them on the ride, Keigo’s feathers a bag with Fuyumi down below (for both crowd reasons and avoiding getting recognized). And Keigo slips after the ride starts it’s plummet, giving everyone a goddamn heart attack as the number 2 hero plummets for a few seconds until he’s able to recall his feathers and glide down lol.  Down below you can picture Inko screaming, clutching Shouto who’s turning purple from the hug.  Fuyumi desperately trying to keep hold of the gym bag holding Keigo’s feathers as they burst out at mach speeds. Izuku running around following Keigo’s descending shadow, like he’s gonna catch him cartoon style.  Dabi’s watching looking like he’s gonna shit bricks.

It all ends fine, Keigo easing the crowds via impromptu aerial show as he glides down and signing autographs. The Todos, Midos, and Rumi deal with a park official where both parties are apologizing profusely, they end up getting VIP passes cause even if he barely passes the height check he should of been a clear slip risk still lmao. Keigo gets so many concerned texts from Dad Jeanist, Dadzawa, Dadpress, and Mamagiri, because of course there’s a video and autotuned meme on the internet already.
