Genesis:23 Creative rainbow is my writing blog. I don’t post about post about huma as much as I used to so please look up the tag in my search bar. I have a huge crush on Selena Gomez. Will always mourn the loss of his life. 🔆
Ben, after showing Isle kids some movies: “Okay, so what was everyone’s favorite scary movie?”
Harry: “Saw.”
Uma: “Halloween.”
Gil: “High School Musical. After watching it, I keep thinking that the entire school will start singing something and I’ll be the only person to not know the words.”
Completely agree Harry was about 3 seconds away from falling backwards when he first smelled her in the movie.
My man was bewitched instantly!
My favorite huma head cannon will always be that the reason why Harry is more touchy with Uma during D3 more so than D2 is because she smells like the ocean (and of course because he missed her).
He's never minded or cared for the fact that she smelt like shrimp for all those years, it just became one of his favorite things about her.
However, when he reunited with her again on the bridge, he was hit with the smell of the ocean, something that he always longed for, the son of a pirate who was shackled to the shore hoping one day to finally see and explore the seas and when Uma returns she carries the scent that he longs for (there are times where he admits he misses that shrimpy smell, it became a comfort to him since Uma was also his safe space).
The more Uma embodies the ocean and steps into her power and heritage the more deeper Harry falls for her.
It's been such a long time since I've posted anything Huma related, I think the D4 teaser and all the huma content on my dash board is throwing me back in my descendants phase 😅 also I'm listening to Ocean Eyes by Bliie Eillish which is 100% a Huma song
Harry is smarter than this, he is just an ass who will encourage this way of thinking in Gil, just to get here.
Seeing Uma frustrated is his special form of entertainment because seeing that special shade of red peaking from underneath her skin makes him think
'This is what is feels like to find the X on the map'
Plus chasing the dogs into the house with Gil and playing with them with Uma until she agrees to keep at least two of them is one of the happiest memories hes created.
I'm gonna be honest, I don't see how anyone can hate Uma. Like, she eats up every single scene she's in, she delivers great lines, "What's My Name" is one of the best songs overall (any time she sings and dances I have to just watch her, she definitely embodies how captivating merfolk are) and I'm not arguing on that, her motives for wanting to take down the barrier wasn't even for her. She wanted to help the kids. Uma's whole character is just amazing!
