WELCOME TO SAIOU WEEK 2021!!!

Returning for a third year, we are having a week celebrating saiouma until Shuichi's birthday! You have one month to prepare for the days you want to make entries for. (But feel free to skip any of them as well!) Reblogs will help spread the word so they're really appreciated! Let's do our best as always this week!

PROMPTS:

(NOTE: The prompt descriptions are just explanations and ideas to help you come up with something for your entries! You don't need to follow them to a T!)

Day 1- Family / Jealousy

The first day already has the opportunity to give in to your fluff or angst needs. Will you choose the fluffy Family prompt? Or the angstier Jealousy prompt? Make whatever your heart desires!

Day 2- Animals / Costumes

Have you ever thought of dressing up the boys in your favourite costumes? Are they cosplaying a character? or perhaps an animal? With these prompts, you can go wild and maybe even make them half-animal or taking care of one!

Day 3- Flower Language / School

Do you prefer them to be in a normal school or in Hope's Peak Academy? Will their school life be more bearable with each other? Maybe they'd give each other flowers hiding secret meanings! This is the day for flower enthusiasts to shine!

Day 4- Festival / Candy

How would a day at a festival together end up like? Would Kokichi catch a goldfish for Shuichi, while Shuichi pampers him with all the sweets for sale? It must be nice to watch fireworks together too! Or you could go with the candy prompt where they eat or create candy! or maybe... turn THEM into candy HAHA

Day 5- Cold nights / Tropical days

Which do you prefer? The tropical days of Summer or the cold nights of Winter? And what would these two boys do in such days? Hang out under the shade of a tree while looking at the ocean, or huddle for warmth under a blanket during a snowstorm!

Day 6- Appreciation day!

If you're new to this blog, appreciation day is the day where artists draw something for their favourite fics, and writers write something for their favourite fanart! Check out the d6 and d60 tags in this blog to see previous entries!

Day 7- Shuichi's birthday / Free day

This week always ends with Shuichi's birthday! You can create something related to that topic, or you can use this day's freedom to draw anything you like for the OTP!

🌟Can I post late submissions?🌟

Yes, you can! Just make sure we will be able to see your entry by tagging saiouweek or adding @saiouweek or simply dming it to @natsumiheart or @xs-xs! But it might take some time for us to notice and reblog your entry after the week is over, we hope you understand!

🌟Do my entries have to be posted separately?🌟

Nope! You can post them separately or have multiple entries together, we will just have to tag the respective days in the post so they show up on the entries page!

🌟Why hasn’t my post been reblogged?🌟

We either were unsure if it followed the rules or will make others uncomfortable, or we simply haven’t seen it yet! The tags on Tumblr haven’t been working properly so if we miss an entry that you think should be reblogged then dm @natsumiheart or @xs-xs!

🌟What is the saiouweek AO3 collection?🌟

It’s where all fanfiction entries for saiou week are! When you make a fanfic on ao3 go to collections and search for saiou week. It will be added to the collection after the fic is approved by a moderator!

🌟Can entries be posted on other sites?🌟

Yes! it's your work so you can post it anywhere. Though it won't be shared here on Tumblr. BUT we have an Instagram for this event that you can find if you click here! Tag us there and we will share it on stories and add it to highlights!

🌟Will you be doing this again next year?🌟

We never know what will happen to us a year from now! Last year we didn’t know if we would do the week again but here we are, so you never know!
