oh pls you get sick/come in to wherever yuuta works and conflict of interest be damned, he is going to be the one in that room with you. the provider that’s around just lets it happen too bc yuuta is capable, but it’s also very clear that he will not let it happen any other way 

he also (1) forces you to get checked out in urgent care even if you’re sure it’s just a cold and then (2) coddles you like crazy once you’re home. yeah, he’s a nurse and rationally, he knows this will pass, but he’s also your boyfriend and that comes first. you nap every other hour bc your meds make you drowsy and yuuta is so bad at trying to be stealthy to check your heart rate and change the cold towel on your neck, and you always wake up to him like inches from your face giving you a deer in headlights look before he smiles and pats your head and tells you to go back to sleep :(

if ur referring to the tags on my last post, then in an au where sukuna/yuuji are twins or just brothers, then i like to imagine yuuji to be the older twin by like 23 minutes but he never lets sukuna forget it, or the older brother by a year/maybe even just a few months. sukuna gives off very annoyed tries to act older and tougher than he is evil younger brother energy to me. youngest brothers are always like that

yes ofc ok of the three categories (possessive, protective, jealous), he seems more possessive than anything for two reasons: 

first comes as an extension of his limited speech. whether in canon, or an au, it can be hard for him to express long, complex thoughts without physically writing them out, but one point he can always get across is that you’re his and that he won’t let anyone take you away from him. this is a message that’s easy to get across verbally—with a simple hand-sign, mouthing a single word, or a simple declarative; physically in his body language—standing in front of you on public transportation, holding your hand, laying his head on your lap, kissing you; expressively on his face—half-lidded eyes that show that he’s upset when someone else is too close to you, and bright eyes and a smile that easily tell you he’s happy to have you around; even socially—frequent social media posts and comments below your posts that let anybody following either of you know how much he loves you.

second, toge is canonically considerate and almost self-sacrificing when it comes to his friends and keeping other people safe. in a way, you’re his safe-haven, so with you, he can choose to be selfish. he doesn’t have to worry about limiting his self, or coming across as a threat, or keeping his thoughts in the back of his mind; he can just… be. and, so, he’ll do anything to protect that, and protect you; and he would never, ever want to share something so sacred.

sometimes how i view them changes depending on the au, but for the most part, these are their respective places in my head, tho not everyone in the same category is the that to the same degree? they’re like… little electrons in a resonance structure to me <2 they can float and move around w/i in their boxes to be closer or further to/from one thing... if that makes any sense LOL also the question marks means idrk if they belong there, but that’s where they sit for now

like yuuta and megumi are in the middle for being jelous, protective, and possessive, but it’s not equal. yuuta comes across as much more protective and possessive than jealous, but he still shows jealousy. megumi is closer to jealousy than possession, but he still has all the qualities. similarly, levi/nanami are in just the protective loop, but that doesn’t mean they’re incapable of jealousy, it’s just not their defining trait yk

but megumi and infidelity… goes a bit too hand in hand i fear. especially megumi as your best friend… he couldn’t care if your current boyfriend lives or dies, so there is no moral weight on his shoulder knowing or acting on being in love with you. him being in love with you/dating in his head so true… you are not just single to him if you’re in a relationship with someone else, you are, inevitably, going to choose him and honestly, he’s getting tired of waiting for you to realize that he’s right for you; no matter how good of a match your boyfriend might be for you, the simple truth is megumi is a better match. you can realize that on your own, your boyfriend can realize that for himself, or megumi can step in and help you <3

every so often you’ll catch yuuji just staring at you with a dopey smile and blushing and his pupils dilated all the way and when you ask him what’s up he just laughs and gets even more red when he admits “nothing. sometimes i remember i have a real big crush on you, that’s all,” he grins, blushing from ear to ear and leaning over to give you a kiss on your cheek, “and you’re sooooo pretty.”

this also happens to megumi, except his face is not nearly as love sick. he actually looks kind of angry, a small pout and furrowed brows that might signal that he’s upset but when you ask him he just scoffs and shakes his head, when he has to admit it: “i have a crush on you,” he says, very matter of fact, ignoring his burning ears, “it’s your fault. i thought the point of dating was that this feeling was going to go away.”
