i was really happy to snatch some of the final parts this project needed to get done! its been several years in the making now, and i actually remember looking forward to it way back when. never thought i'd actually have the opportunity to take some parts until a friend let me know they were actively still looking LOL

TOTAL DRAMA WORLD TOUR REANIMATED: Interest Check #2!

The second interest check for this project i want to host!

This is just to affirm that people are still interested in a project being hosted like this, as well as give people a second chance to vote!

Once again, we will be animating to the song "Come Fly With Us" from World Tour!

If there is enough interest, applications will open sometime during April or May and will end once enough slots/backups are filled out!

There may also be a chance to apply for illustration/thumbnail roles, though, I would like this to be a team effort and have everyone decide how we would want this to be laid out (ex: possible credit doodles of the cast, promotional illustrations, etc).

NOTE: This project will be solely non-profit, for fans and by fans. Will be great to include in animation reels or for extra practice in animation.

Be careful if you're doing an animated Total Drama project. If you're using official characters you may get a cease and desist from Fresh TV, they've shut down fan projects before.

this was one of my main concerns, but i realized other people have reanimated some world tour songs (gacha life animators specifically) using the same unaltered audio, so i THINK we should be fine. if anything, I'll be sure to put a huge disclaimer.

i think the fresh situation was similar to the warrior cats one. the companies are mostly concerned about using the likenesses of the characters themselves rather than it being purely a fan animation with music (even from the show itself). i could be wrong though so feel free to correct me!

TDWT REANIMATED Project: Interest Check #1

ive been pretty inspired to host a tdwt reanimated for awhile, specifically to one of the songs. this would be my first time hosting a project like this and i would like to see if anyone would be interested!

while scrounging around, i noticed there WAS going to be one total drama specific reanimated project that seemed to have fallen through a good while ago, so now that theres been a ressurgence, why not try again at a much smaller scale? we will be animating the song shown above, "Come Fly With Us" from world tour!

im aiming to open applications around april-may, that way volunteers can have the summer to work, though there wont be a set due date asap. i want this to be fun for everyone, nothing super stressful. i plan to be pretty lax on how people reanimate their parts, it will be open to multi-media (2d-3d animation, stop motion, cosplay/live action, etc).
