AND ANOTHER THING ABOUT GALO BEING SMART, that man knows so much history, he just. he just knows so much about firefighting in general, you rlly wanna look at that man and be like “hes stupid” like. “what is that” “oh its a matoi it [proceeds to go on a ramble abt its history]” like i can barely remember the history of what i ate and he knows the entire history of tools used in firefighting thats iconic and what id like to mention as a Hyperfixation™ 

ALSO as someone w adhd i frequently find it hard to express my ideas adequately enough so i often resort to saying something jokey or a meme like “are you tired or hungry?” “yes.” and THATS another thing i see in galo especially when people ask him how hell solve things (or how he says he’ll do it without being prompted) like the whole “power of my burning firefighter soul” thing maybe thats just what he says Not Because he feels sheer determination will get him there but instead because he can’t figure out the words to express his plan.

THERES ALSO THE POSSIBILITY that he just completely wings it because if he starts thinking about it then he’ll get stuck on the thinking part and not the doing part like @burnishfury mentioned in their tags and thats also extremely valid and sexy of him
