Some Amphibia fanart; Marcy and General Yunan resting while passing by some mysterious ruins.
The King has ordered them not to enter such places, but that hasn't stopped Marcy from conducting a little comparative botany (and flower crown crafting!).

Since Birrin existance mostly revolves around the community and the family, were there any "great men of history", special Birrin individuals who had decicive and critical effect on Birrin society?
Does your worldbuilding include a Birrin equivalent of people like Napoleon or Alexander?
There have been, though the birrin tend to venerate their movements and cultures rather than any one leader.

Did the Birrin ever create capitalism, corporations, or a stock exchange? Did the groups of Birrin responsible for the creation of products and services ever create advertisements like our corporations do?
The Great Houses operate a little like corporations, but more democratically. There have been abuses. Crass advertising is a lot less common as it is now on modern Earth.

While it seems as though the Birrin generally have democracy more than humans, has their wealth inequality been as bad as humans historically? Also, relating to inequality, have the Birrin ever made use of slavery or forced labor as humans have in the past? Based on the low pay and long hours of our industrial workers, one might think that similar and slave-like conditions might have developed during the Birrin industrialization if a similar amount of inequality existed.
They have had, and keep having, similar issues in that regard yes.

You've said many or most Birrin cultures practice cannibalism, which is scary and taboo to most human cultures. Is there anything common in most humans that Birrin would find scary or gross and taboo?
Many human cultures practiced it, but colonialism mostly wiped it out.
They would find how rare democracy is very strange.
