Has anyone else had the experience of seeing the tree tops not as blobs once they got their glasses and thought it was so different. I know some people who have shared this same experience as me.

So, I’ve been doing some late night thinking. Time is posted everywhere. The current time can be found on a wall clock, your bedside table, the time for an event on a sign or card. But, there is also another place where time can be found, and that is: on my mind. I’ve been dreading the thought of going back to school, it seems as though if you peek around one corner you could see the beginning of this past school year right before you. If you turned the other way, you would find the beginning of next school year around the other corner. While you’re in school though, you find yourself always wishing at the end of one weekend for the next one to come soon. In my family, someone has said that it sounds as though you are wishing your life away. I have actually prayed for the summer time to go slower, because I feel like there is so much to do even though it could be done during the school year also. One thing that we should do all year around is love no matter how fast time goes by. Romans 13:11 says, “And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.” Paul is saying that we should love because the day of salvation is coming soon. This means that instead of dreading the days ahead we should use them as days to show love for God and for others. Love today and let time go by as it should.
