How my mindset change helped me shift☀️
When I first started shifting in 2020, I became obsessed with the idea, centering my entire existence around it. I was constantly thinking about and doing things related to shifting. However, four months in, I grew frustrated. Waking up in my current reality would upset me, affecting my mood for the entire day.
In December 2020, I finally shifted, but it happened when I stopped obsessing over it. That day, I didn't think much about shifting. I quickly read over my script, said some affirmations as I visualized, then fell asleep and woke up in my desired reality.
After returning from that reality, I became eager to shift to others but fell into obsession again, mimicking what I saw others doing on Shiftok. Ignoring my own needs and preferences, I never shifted again, leading me to abandon shifting for two years due to demotivation.
I returned in December 2023 and successfully shifted within my first week. What changed? I shifted my mindset, seeing it not as an impossible feat but as a fun hobby, a privilege. Viewing it as a casual and enjoyable activity, I've had many successful shifts since.
Now, I'm not suggesting that my approach will guarantee success for you. However, if you find yourself constantly consuming other people's shifting journeys without experimenting with your own methods or taking breaks, it might explain why shifting feels so challenging. It's so important to find what works best for you and to approach shifting as a fun and enjoyable experience.
