"WHY DO YOU THINK I MENTIONED THEM BEING HOT ?" rave replies with a waggle of her brows, her grin widening crookedly . she takes a wide step over the roots of a tree as she says, " after this shit i think we all deserve to fuck a hot mechanic as a treat ." hell, after this shit rave was going to have a hard time denying themself anything . their brows arch as tamsin continues . " are you weeping at night when i'm not looking ? should i start spooning you or something ?" admittedly, rave had yet to have a real breakdown about it all . she honestly is probably well overdue . but hey, it'll happen when it happens . and when it does, well . fingers crossed she doesn't start eating tree bark or something . " oh shit, i didn't realize i bought a one way ticket to the gun show ." rave snorts as she claps a hand over tamsin's bicep, grinning cheekily before she's shaking her head and adding, " that bear is so going to eat the fuck out of us, dude ." it's really not funny, and yet somehow it is . maybe it's just cause they're with tamsin, or maybe they've somehow truly become numb to the situation . either way, somehow the conversation manages to be amusing .

“who said the mechanic was for the car?” tamsin muses, a wolfish little grin on her lips. of course that is one of the things she isn’t thinking about much in here but there is the innate human need for intimacy. it would probably be a good way to enjoy a vacation — considering how disastrously this one had gone. she pads along the forest, fingers occasionally scuffing along a tree. “maybe we make enough noise to scare them off. all the night time weeping…” she finds herself acting a little removed from the situation. as if she isn’t also terrified they might never be found. “oh yeah, you see these guns?” she lifts her arm in a poor flex. any muscle she did have as perhaps wasted from the lack of protein in her diet as of recently. "you don't think i could take a bear?"

" i know i did that with him but — that was the deal we made, it wasn't like it was my plan or anything, i — " koa has to swallow thickly then, her heart thudding and aching all at once at the thought, at even the notion that dani could now think this of them . if they could take it all back they would . they would take it back in a heartbeat if it meant that dani would stop looking at them like this . " dani, of course i want this . of course i want you, i — " koa's breath catches a little as she scans dani's profile from where she sits in the passenger seat, her hand clutching at the door's handle as she asks, " ... do you ?" a dry swallow as her eyes follow that path over dani's profile again, " do you still want this ?"

dani's grip on the steering wheel tightened as she heard koa protest about sleeping with her brother-in-law. she knew they didn't know who he was but just the thought it, the smug look on his face when he told her all about it made her angrier than she could have ever imagined. "out of all the people in this fucking town..." she muttered as she kept her eyes focused on the road. while it was prior to the two of them meeting, it still made her skin crawl at just the idea of the two of them being together, of him cheating on her sister and then taking his anger out on her later. "so what, are you just sleeping with me for my place? for food? ... do you even want this?" she said as she motioned to the two of them, her voice raising slightly. the minute she said it, she wished she could take it back but it was far too late. she felt like they had this connection, so much so that she wanted to introduce koa to her sister, but it seemed like everything had just blown up in both of their faces.

" god, shut up ." shiv can't help but whine at harley's teasing, cheeks warmer than she'd like to admit . she swears it's only harley that can make her feel this way . like some sort of school girl with a crush . she shoves her best friend's shoulder as her eyes narrow with a playfully threatening, " i'll show you scary ..." the blood still hasn't drained from shiv's cheeks when harley teases her next, which feels inherently unfair in someway . shiv can't explain how . " you are the romantic one ." shiv can't help but think how lucky anyone would be to have harley . she can't help but remember that at this moment, that lucky person is her . harley cradles her face and shiv swears her heart is about to burst . " ... i love you more ." shiv breathes out, which feels stupid and childish in comparison to the weight of what harley's saying so shiv rushes to kiss harley before she can notice it . " i love you so much ." another kiss before shiv is moving to hold harley tight . " you're my favourite person, harley ."

she's not exactly sure how shiv feels about her because she isn't saying much. she's just listening and for a moment, harley wonders if she's saying way too much in an already fucked situation. but then, shiv kisses her back and harley's able to feel just how much shiv feels the same about her. her hands rest comfortably on the blonde's waist as she begins to straddle her lap and harley can't help but smile. "but you are comforting me rigth now. and you're doing a pretty good job," harley responds. already harley was managing to forget all about what had transpired between her and charlotte.

harley's brows raise, amusement written all over her face when shiv playfully threatens to jump her. "sure you will," she teased. "you're so hot when you're scary." her eyes flutter shut when shiv kisses her cheek, saying exactly what harley wanted to hear. "and here i thought i was the only romantic one," she couldn't help but tease but really, her heart felt as though it was swelling from all of the emotions she felt. harley knew there was no one else for her. her hands find their way back up to shiv's face, cupping it in her hands. "it's crazy how much i feel for you," harley admits, the words spilling past her lips faster than she could stop them. "i love you so much."
