"I got worried about you." They admit, before shifting their gaze. "No, I didn't get hurt, I didn't pass anything strange on the way here..." They lifted parts of their hair from their eyes, revealing concerned red eyes. "You seemed pretty down... I didn't want you to be alone the entire time, if you needed someone to talk to, I'm always here. Because we're friends..."

Shaking her head the half elf gave Mallow a pat on the head, “Thank you, really, I’m sorry for running away. I didn’t mean to make anyone worry, I just like being alone when I feel unhappy. I used to lock myself in a closet before I found this place.” 

“I’ll go home in a bit I wanted to pick some flowers and watch the stars with Lumis, do you wanna join me?” although she had come up with picking flowers on the spot, it’d be a nice change of pace than sitting in the dark with her dog.

Upon reaching the cave and slightly thankful they hadn't cross anything dangerous on purpose. Noticing the items settled on the ground, they turned to check their surroundings. "Mana...? Are you here?"

The half elf frowned as she hard the quiet voice of Mallow, as mush as she wanted to stay quiet and pretend she wasn’t there, that wouldn’t be fair to Mallow who had traveled all the way here. Picking up her dog, Mana slowly ascended the stairs, using the time to try and make it look like she hadn’t been crying for the last few hours. She didn’t want them to see her in a moment of weakness.

Once she reached the top of the stair case she couldn’t help but sigh, “Mallow, you really shouldn’t have come this far out.. It’s dangerous, the monsters here would eat you for breakfast… Wait! You aren’t hurt anywhere are you?” what if they had a brutal fight with an eggbear before entering the cave, oh gosh she’d never be able to forgive herself.

"Thanks." The let out a miniature sob as they headed back to the forge. They took some chest armor plating, a sword and a shield, at least something comfortable as their usual armor. And decided to head out and follow the map. They're at least thankful that they were given a map... They only wonder where it'll take them. Hopefully not dragon meal, that is.

Although the journey from Mana’s home to the cave was a decent trek, it was far from dangerous. In fact only once in a short while would Mallow even catch sight of a monster before it would disappear (it would seem as though someone is helping them from the shadows, although that isn’t important)

Upon reaching the cave marked on the map, they’d find a small sidepath leading down to a decayed stone staircase descending into the darkness, a bunny shaped box of torches and matches sat just off to the right hand side of it.

"Dragons..." Now this really feels like an RPG, can they even use their dark world armor here? The shield sounded handy... "Ah, thank you very much for this. I'll try to find Mana and hopefully bring her back." Hopefully. They're probably muttering their prayers.

“Good luck... Go borrow from the forge if you need equipment... Sis won’t mind..” Mana would probably be delighted to see someone using her equipment to come see her, truthfully.

“If you do get attacked by a dragon... they can’t hit you if you move under them..”

“I can give you a special dragon repellent, that I’ve been working on, if you’d like to be a test subject for its effects...”

"Alrighty then, I'll get them for you." They sighed, it was just in their nature (and the insistence of their mother to make them help if necessary). They pass through the flood of bunnies once more to go the Garden, trying to find the correct labels. Taking them, and squeezing past the hallway again, handing them over, once again strained. "i-is this it???" (They're trying so hard)

While the other was away the half elf had not only put out the fire behind her but had prepared a small bag for them to take. Inside was a map, food, and some dubious looking medicine.

Once Kris had returned with the herbs Ethel smiled, “Those are the ones... Thank you.” she gave a slight bow before trading them for the bag. “There is a small cave in Mt. Fooji that leads to a Dwarven City... I drew a route straight from here to the cave’s entrance... Be careful in there... it’s full of dragons...” she had only been there twice but both times it was swarming with golden and black dragons.

Oh boy, favors... It felt like playing an RPG Quest Game. "Oh okay... where can I get these things you're asking...?" Well, if it's for Mana's sake, they'd do it. They're just... really worried on how she's doing.

“You agree to things too easily... but I guess getting some more herbs for my medicine would be beneficial... You can get some behind the house in Sun’s little garden.., I wrote the labels so you should be able to tell what is what...” although she could tell them where to find them in nature that would take too long. “I’d get it myself but I don’t want to risk getting spotted by any of Mana’s regulars.. I have a million gald bounty on my head.”

Hearing that, the teenager slightly panicked, "Woah, I'm not going to arrest you! I'm just going to ask if you know anything about where Mana is. I'm really worried for her- Uh, My name's Kris by the way, I'm one of her friends...?"

The black haired teen blinked, they were a friend of Mana? Well that was a rare sight indeed. Usually none of them came up stairs or to her room.

“Oh... Hello Kris... My name is Ethel Ida Échemtal.... Mana said not to tell anyone where she was going... Although, if you bring me some Red Lavender and Red Verbena I can have a lapse in judgement and accidentally tell you.”

"Ah, thanks! I'll try to talk to Ethel." With the directions given to them, they decided to cross the hallway, only to see the pile of stuffed bunnies. "Oh boy..." How to cross this...? Well, it seemed that they use their feral energy to get past the sea of plushies, they managed to reach the door and gave it a little knock, they were straining a bit just to reach it, given their predicament. (Rip Mallow)

After a tiny bit of waiting the door creaked open just enough for a ghostly pale half elf to stick her head out.

”Oh... You aren’t Sun... If you are here to arrest me allow me to go put out the fire behind me...” the girl yawned, she supposed her little science experiment would be placed on hold.

The teenager was slightly relieved that she could translate it, if she hadn't they were slightly at a loss (considering they don't know much about this world) "Oh, thank you! Can you read what it says? Maybe I can help her with what she's dealing..."

Taking the note the half elf gave it a quick glance, “To summarize this for ya, she’s going to one of her secret places, although she doesn’t say when she’ll be back, she asked for her bunnies to be looked after.” 

“I only know where one of them is but since Lumis is missing as well it isn’t likely she’d go that far out. Maybe Ethel knows something? Her room is next to Mana’s upstairs.”

(Is it ok to use Mallow for this? They're worried.) Seeing the sign and the note left the teenager concerned. They had no idea what the language was, but surely someone can read it for them? They briefly recalled Mana's relations, so they decided to set out and question... Who was it, Sun? "Uh, excuse me, you're Sun, right? I'm really worried about Mana, her forge is closed and she left a note, I have no clue what it says, do you know how to translate it?"

The half elf blinked as they looked at the other, she had just gotten home from an archeological trip so she hadn’t gotten a chance to see what was up with her sister. Mana tended to disappear once every so often so she wasn’t exactly too worried.

“That depends on the language it is written in, I can only read dwarvish and ancient elvish.” from what she could see of the note it looked to be ancient elvish.
