#so i'm going to be a speaking guest on a conference. i've never done this before so let's see how this goes #i need to prepare a presentation. ok. i can do this. fingers crossed

randomly remembering the time in 2012 when everyone kept saying the world was going to end at midday that day and like, i didnt really believe it, but i didnt want to be a complete fool if i was wrong, so i excused myself from class to go sit the field and perfectly timed the beat drop to a skrillex song just in case something happened. and im just. retroactively amused by the idea of ushering in the appocalypse with skrillex. most 2012 thing you could possibly do.

#i have no idea what i did on that day but i remember that everyone was panicking on 6/6/2006 bc it was the number of the beast #and i had math class that day and one of my classmates tried to convince the teacher to not give us class bc we could die that day #she turned around calmly and said that my class was safe bc the end of the world was postponed for us until we learnt equations properly #and with that the class proceeded like it was nothing #credit where it's due i at least learnt those equations she was a great teacher

#all are good the ones that i like the least in general are black metal and metalcore #but. i mean symphonic metal rises above all for me. nightwish is there and that immediately gives the subgenre an impossible high advantage #in comparison with all others #ask me for nightwish recs. no seriously i dare you all
