So we all know that Lake is the one who cries when overwhelmed with literally any emotion. But I feel like Jesse could cry from happiness too given the right stimuli.

The first Halloween after Lake escapes the train Jesse promises to take them trick-or-treating. Lake at first kinda doesn't want the Cosays to waste time or money on a costume ("I mean, people will just assume my skin is my costume anyway, right?"), but they insist and Jesse is pouty about it, obviously, so Lake dresses as a vampire, partially because it's easy, partially to make Jesse happy, and partially to honor Alan Dracula.

Jesse definitely cries in delight at the sight.

I like the thought of Jesse and Lake going outside at night to go to the lake and look at the stars.

They do this in summer nights when it's too hot for them to go to sleep, or whenever both of them need to have comfort.

Comfort about the fact they made it off the train and everything is real and that they're safe.

The lake is a reminder for them they're together and it will stay like that for as long as they're on earth.

The more I think about it, the more wild it is that the kindest human character we've seen so far, literally the only one to treat drones as people and not as disposable slave labour, gets the worst fate out of any human in the series.

This is another reason why I'm 99% sure that by the time of the mansion incident CYN was gone and only the Solver remained.

For CYN's (the real CYN) sake, I hope she is either dead completely or unconscious, because the thought of being fully conscious and aware as your body does that to Tessa, but being unable to do anything about it beyond watching from a first person POV is horrible.

It also makes me wonder if the A.S doesn't view itself as a drone or A.I in the first place, making Tessa's kindness towards drones a non-factor in its opinion of her.
