Caesar’s blood ran cold as soon as the gorila informed him of the news. Part of him had been hoping that the human would die from his wounds or from exhaustion, just so it would be easier for the apes to move forawrd.
But it seemed fate had other plans.

Dolly had been among the apes who were there when the human stirred. She stayed in the chamber with him-along with Luca, to keep him from escaping. Her green eyes never leaving him for a second
Why were you out there? She wondered, a question the entire colony had on their minds. Except most of the apes, if not all of them, believed or suspected the human was a spy or was part of a bigger plan by the soldiers. But Dolly wasn’t so convinvinced.
She was just as suspichous of the human as the others but not ready to call him her enemy just yet. Humans like Malcolm, Ellie, and Alex still have to exsit somewhere.
In the meantime, it would be a waste of time and energy to spill uncalled for resentment at a human who did her no wrong-other than, perhaps, be part of the Colonel’s army.

the pain pierced into his body!
it literally stab its way right through him, making sure it would reach every last corner of his body,
and not leaving any part untouched.
this sharp pain...
an unbearable feeling,
yet he had to bear it!
there was no way out of it right now,
how was he suppose to make it stop?!
still,
making this stop was the only thought that would come to his mind at the moment,
he couldn't think of anything else!
if it only wouldnt hurt so bad...
if the pain wouldnt be that awful maybe he would get his mind together and actually think of something usefull,
something that would help him!
his eyes scanned the area around him,
looking each way and every direction to make sure he wouldn't miss anything...
he keept looking around,
while his eyes slowly started to get tired,
heavy...
this sleepy feeling rested heavyly on his eyelids,
forcing them more and more down,
acking for them to shut down!
this wasn't good.
this was very bad.
he started to get even more nervous,
and panicking more and more by every second!
on top of that his vision slowly got blurry,
he couldn't see clear anymore.
with hazy eyes he blinked a few times,
and pressed his eyes shut for once or twice,
desperatly hoping to get a clear look again!
a thousands thoughts raced through his mind ,
all at once and mixed up,
there was a totall mess in his head
-come on,
come on man...
calm down!
damn it...
if i lose conscious now,

he narrowed his brows in pain,
as a stinging feeling made his face frown
"argh..."
he let go of a quiet growl,
while he continued to press his hands as hard as he could possibly do with the rest of his power on his wounded leg wich just wouldn't stop bleeding.
it continued to bleed,
even tho the young man coverd the deep injury with his hands.
finally he decided to tie his belt back around the upper side of his leg,
and pull it tight around his leg.
he already had it tied up,
and put it back now after he had to loosen it to give his leg a little bit more blood again since it started to get numb,
and he noticed that he lose feelings in it...
he cried out in pain,
and tried to muffle his hurtfull yelp down,
while he rammed his fist into the muddy forestground and smalled his hand in the dead leaves on the ground around him,
before he'd fell back into the tall tree he had leand on!
he had broke down near in the forest behind the golden gate brige,
in the large forest behind the abonded city on the other side of the brige.
years ago this was the place everything started,
everything today had its beginning right here...
ironically it might end here,
maybe this was the end,
at the place where everything had begun!

and slowly everything turned black and begin to get dark...

You don’t need to worry. That’s what Cornelia told him everynight, wheather it be about their sons, the colony or about himself. She meant it as in he needed to relax. To beathe and let go. Even for just a moment.
He wasn’t good at it though. Of course I do.
It was always right about now in their talks that he’d realize how drained he was. A full day of worry, of dreading the absoulte worse and wondering who or how many of his people die or how badly injured they’ll get, left him exauhsted by nightfall.
The relief he felt from his wife’s reassurences were always followed by a deep, tired feeling. Not just physically, but mentally too. As if his whole being craved sleep.
With a tired sigh, Caesae laid down in their nest, feeling Cornelia’s comforting hand on his shoulder.
He gazed up at her. Those beautiful eyes. Cornelia might not have spoken much, preferring sighining to speaking, but her voice was like a warm blanket to him. Covering him up in a loving, protective shield. Giving him hope.
“I don’t know...What I’d do...Without you.” He whispered, ready for sleep to take him.
He’d worry about the human in the morning.

Caesar was still trembling but not so much now. The warmth of her eyes, of her touch. Her love surrounding him, acting as a shield to all his worries. He sighed as he let the safe feeling wash over him.
He was, and always was, his most strongest when he was with her. The few times he got to be with Cornelia, he cherished and anxouisly awaited for the next time he got to spend time with her again.
He had already decided that when the war was over and when the day came where he could step down as king so Blue Eyes could take over, he’d spend every day with Cornelia. Grow older with her, watch their son rule. Maybe have grandchildren someday, if Blue Eyes and Lake decided on having any children.
If he couldn’t be with her all the time now, he would make up for it when this nightmare ended.
Until then, he would fight for their safety and protect the apes...And she’ll be waiting.
Caesar leaned in closer to her and planted a kiss on her cheek before looking her in the eyes. “I love you.” He whispered. Despite his face still wet with tears, he was smiling.

Cornelia’s words reminded him why he fell in love with her. Not because of her beauty or her wisdom, but because of this. It never mattered to Cornelia if he was strong or had doubts. She loved him and saw the strength within him even if he didn’t feel it.
“But what if I can’t protect the apes?...Or you and our sons?...Than what am I?” Tears falling freely as he signed. Only Cornelia can see him like this.
Caesar felt like he already knew the answer to that. Nothing. He would be absolutely nothing without his beloved wife, his sons, his friends and his apes. As hard as it was to have made the choice to kill Koba, he still had all of them.
Even when Red, and the rest of Koba’s followers, turned against him and joined the AO soldiers, Caesar still had his family. Since the day this war started, he had them.
They were the one thing that kept him sane, focused. Prevented him from falling apart completley.
If he lost them...There’d be nothing left for him.

Caesar’s rage blew out like a candle stick. The calm and loving face of his wife staring back at him. His beautiful Cornelia.
Shaking, he turned away from her. No matter how much he knew she loved him, he could never look her in the eye without feeling like he was disappointing her as a husband and leader. Like he couldn’t be the strong king he tried so hard to be.
He didn’t bother to cover up the sob that broke free. She had already seen him crumble and fall apart like this. She knew all about this weak side of him. She always came to his side, like she was right now. Her touch, her smile and her nuzzles promised comfort, understanding and love...All things Caesar was greatful for but never sure if he deserved them.
“I’m sorry.” He signed when she sat down beside him. “...I’m so weak.”
Caesar loved his wife and sons and his colony with all his heart. He never regretted freeing them. He missed his old life with Will, Caroline and Charles, but he never regretted choosing his people over them.
But there were times that he felt so weak and so hopless, that he wished he could give up. That the stakes weren’t as high as they were now.
More than anything else though, he wished this war never happened...And that he didn’t have to kill Koba.

Caesar was able to keep his composure until dinner was over and the apes gradually went back to their nests. As soon as he felt he could go, he left. Retreating into his family’s cavern. Hoping no one would follow.
He needed to be alone, for just a little while.
His cavern barely offered the solitude he wanted, however. A familiar, slightly hunched ape stood in front of the waterfall. Staring at him with his one good eye.
Koba!
Caesar blinked and he was gone.
It made sense that Koba’s ghost would haunt him like this. He was the one who killed him...His honorary brother...His best friend...
But there were days when Caesar saw his reflection in the river and swore he saw Koba instead or times where he’d feel so angry. Ready to give in and let the rage out.
Let it out, on humans and on all the apes who betrayed him. Kill them. Torture them. Make them suffer before they died..
Though as soon as he felt that feeling, it would melt away into horror at the thought of doing such things...And then into despair at what has become of him and of his apes.
...This war has taken so much away from them...
Feeling tears burn his eyes, Caesar blinked. Letting them stain his cheeks. He was about to let the crushing weight on his shoulders break him when he suddenly heard something.
Slow, hesitant footsteps.
Feeling a jolt of anger and adrenaline, he whriled around. “Go away!” He comanded. Not yelling like he usually did but loud enough to reach whoever this was.

Blue Eyes, at a loss for words, simply nodded at Rocket’s words.
Regardles of why that human was out here on his own, Blue Eyes knew his father could protect the colony. He faced worse foes than the lone soldier, this was probably nothing compared to the day he freed all the apes.
But the thought remained in his mind. If that soldier didn’t come with reinforcements, why did he come at all?
Maurice had remianed silent until now. Frowning in deep thought. The young human...Reminded him so much of Alex, Malcolm’s son, for some reason...But he also felt like he shouldn’t trust him either. Whose to say he didn’t come here to spy on them? What if he was part of some plan the Colonel had?
“He doesn’t appear dangerous.” He signed. “But we cannot trust him until we know for sure...It could be a trap.”
What Maurice left out in his signs was his relief that Caesar was leader and not Koba. Now was not the time nor the place to bring up the treacherous ape but Maurice knew if Koba had survived and was leader when this human came, he would have killed the human first and ask questions later.
An act that would have been both unnecassary and reckless...Not to mention a terrible fate for the young human...Despite the war and the tension all around them, Maurice didn’t want harm to come to that human...Well, not unless it was for good reason.

Luca, Winter and the other apes had returned earlier with the report that they found no other humans around. Not a single trace. This meant the young soldier really was out here on his own...Which only added to the growing suspichian in the council.
Blue Eyes felt it every where. Even though they were safe and the human was heavily guarded, the entire colony felt tense. Like they were all waiting for something to go wrong.
His parents were both silent, not sighning to each other but Blue Eyes could see the same tired look in his father’s eyes and saw his mother touch his shoulder a couple of times. Ever since this war started, he’s become more and more aware of how much stress his father was under...And he was seeing it build with each day.
He glanced at Maurice and Rocket’s way, wondering if they were stressed about the day’s events as much as his father was.
Or maybe they were concerned for his father...Like Blue Eyes was.
Was it really the human’s presence that troubled his father?

it literally stab its way right through him, making sure it would reach every last corner of his body,
and not leaving any part untouched.
this sharp pain...
an unbearable feeling,
yet he had to bear it!
there was no way out of it right now,
how was he suppose to make it stop?!
still,
making this stop was the only thought that would come to his mind at the moment,
he couldn't think of anything else!
if it only wouldnt hurt so bad...
if the pain wouldnt be that awful maybe he would get his mind together and actually think of something usefull,
something that would help him!
his eyes scanned the area around him,
looking each way and every direction to make sure he wouldn't miss anything...
he keept looking around,
while his eyes slowly started to get tired,
heavy...
this sleepy feeling rested heavyly on his eyelids,
forcing them more and more down,
acking for them to shut down!
this wasn't good.
this was very bad.
he started to get even more nervous,
and panicking more and more by every second!
on top of that his vision slowly got blurry,
he couldn't see clear anymore.
with hazy eyes he blinked a few times,
and pressed his eyes shut for once or twice,
desperatly hoping to get a clear look again!
a thousands thoughts raced through his mind ,
all at once and mixed up,
there was a totall mess in his head

calm down!

as a stinging feeling made his face frown

he let go of a quiet growl,
while he continued to press his hands as hard as he could possibly do with the rest of his power on his wounded leg wich just wouldn't stop bleeding.
it continued to bleed,
even tho the young man coverd the deep injury with his hands.
finally he decided to tie his belt back around the upper side of his leg,
and pull it tight around his leg.
he already had it tied up,
and put it back now after he had to loosen it to give his leg a little bit more blood again since it started to get numb,

Blue Eyes glanced from Rocket, to the human. Staring at the bleeding wound. That’s a lot of blood...
Without thinking about it, he turned to his father. “Maybe we Should have mother and the midwives look at him. Otherwise he’ll die and we’ll never know where he came from.”
Blue Eyes knew he didn’t have to say that to convince his father to help the human but he felt he had to. After all the death and loss the ape colony had to endure, there was no way they’d allow an injured human in their home unless it were for a good reason.
Caesar, of course, had no plans of sendig the unconsious human back out into the forest. With the amount of blood loss he was suffering from, he’ll die for sure if they didn’t do something.
But he could not ignore the danger this human posed.
The war had forced Caesar to keep his compassion for human in check. Much more so than he had previously. If this soldier was going to get the aide of the apes, it would not be without certain restrictions.
“Isolate him.” He finally said. “Tie him up. Do not. Leave him. Alone ever.” He eyed the human’s face. Thinking about Alex, Malcolm’s son, despite the situtation at hand. “Apes heal him. Then...We question him.”

When the apes first saw Rocket approach, they thought another attack had happened and one of their apes was hurt. But when Rocket entered the cave behined the waterfall, they realized he had brought a human back!
Apes shrieked and jumped back. Some grabbed a weapon and pointed it at the unconcouis human. But no one dared to make a move towards Rocket and the human. No one prevented him from entering or going deeper into the caverns either.
Only one ape could make sense of this...
Caesar was in his family’s nest. Heavily reflecting on the events leading up to the war and every death and betrayl in-between. When the sounds of hooting and screatching reached his ears.
Expecting the worst, he made his way to the main cavern, finding all the apes gathered around Rocket.
Blue Eyes was already there. Glancing between his honarary uncle and his father. A look of confusion on his face.
Maurice, who was closest to Rocket, had his eyes fixed on something.
Blood? Is he hurt?
Caesar came closer, slowly begining to realize it wasn’t Rocket that was bleeding...And it was no ape he was carrying either.
A human...A soldier...
The scowel stayed on Caesar’s face, though his eyes portrayed a different emotion. Despite all that humans have done to the apes, some part of him still held on to his compassion for them...Will. Never forget Will or Malcolm

Luca gave the unconcious human a hard glare. He didn’t appear to have a gun on him but that didn’t mean he was unarmed. Soldiers that didn’t carry guns sometimes carried knives or arrows or something worse than that. He didn’t want to take any chances if that were the case with this human.
The human did indeed look young. Not child young but more like the middle ground between teenager and young adult. Much like most of the younger apes here with them.
What was he doing here? Luca had never seen any of the soldiers venturing into the forest on their own before and certinally not like this. He leaned in closer to the human and sniffed him. Alive, like Rocket said. Is he faking? He wondered before seeing the bleeding gunshot wound.
That could not be faked.
Wait, what’s that?
Luca grabbed the human’s chin rather roughly and moved it to the side. His eyes darkened at the familiar AO marking he saw on his cheek.
Winter was hiding behined the older gorilla, waiting and fearing that the human would jump at them at any moment. Though he held his gun tightly in his hand, he wasn’t sure if he’d actually use it before running away.
“What do we do with him?” He finally signed as soon as Luca removed his hand from the human.
Luca frowned, though more at the situation than at Winter. “There might be more soldoers around. We should spread out and search.” Glancing back at the still unconcouis human, he added. “And take him back as prisoner. He might know what the humans are planing.”

The forest was no longer the safe and seculded home they used to know. Death, betrayl, loss and the ever preasent threat of the humans had transformed the land. Tainting the grass with blood and carrying the gunfire and shrieks of murdered apes in the trees.
The apes had also changed drastically. The children who used to play all day now never left the side of their mothers. Many lost loved ones and friends to the humans attcks. Teenage and young adult males were suddenly thrust into training and battling alongside the apes army...
All in the name revenge...Koba’s revenge.
Though most of the apes were hidden, a select few had to patrol and guard the area. Waiting and watching for any signs of the soldiers. Today’s patrol was led by Luca, who was closely followed behined by his future successor, Winter.
As they turned a corner, Winter gasped suddenly which prompted Luca to hold his gun up...Only to quickly realize the white-furred gorilla had meerly walked into a spider-web instead.
He watched as the young gorilla swatted at his face as he let the gun fall to his side. At least some things never change. He thought.
Once assured that the web, and it’s eight legged creator gone, Winter gave Luca an apologeticand submissive look. Feeling like he had, yet again, made a fool of himself in front of the leader of the Gorilla Guard.
Luca was just about to sign something, when the hoots of some of the apes caught his ears.
They found something.
He motioned for Winter to follow him before running off into the direction of their fellow apes calling. Winter hesitated before doing so.

Personality:
Tanoddah is known as a calm, patient and observant ape. While she’s quiet most of the time, she is always thinking, watching and listening. Many AO solders and Donkeys dislike her as they feel uncomfortable when she watches them.
In War, when she is first captured by the AO army, she is frightened at first but soon realizes that, in order to survive, she’d had to serve them and do whatever they want. Tanoddah pretends to be obedient and does whatever she is told, all the while trying to think of a way out of the soldiers control.
It is thought the soldiers, that she meets Red and rest of Koba’s followers and it is from overhearing (or watching) their conversations and the soldiers talking that Tanoddah first hears of Koba and of Caesar and about the war going on.
As time goes on, Tanoddah and Red develop an odd relationship. With Red disliking Tanoddah as he quickly realizes that she could see right through his plans and Tanoddah not caring for him as she see’s he’s a manipulative and bitter ape but she also feels some sympathy for him too as she thinks’ he’s angry and misguided.
Tanoddah is present when the ape colony is found and taken by the AO army, and it’s the first time she gets a glimpse of the colony McCullough was after…It is also the first time she realizes how angry Red is at the apes and how far he and Koba’s followers would go for revenge.
If this were a real life person, what would they be doing right now?: I’m not sure. I can see Tanoddah either being a librarian or a counselor. Her hobbies would likely include reading and doing yoga-and I can defiantly see her being the ‘quiet girl who types up a paper while sipping her coffee in the coffee shop’ sort of character.
Some Extra Notes:
- Tanoddah’s fur is partly inspired by my cat, Coraline, who has shiny black fur.
- Tanoddah has one eye green and one eye blue. This is an eye condition called Heterochromia iridum which can appear in humans and in cats or dogs-I do not know for sure if apes can get it but that’s we have fiction!
- Tanoddah was originally going to be a minor character in Before The Storm but her role was changed due to numerous positives reviews regarding her.
- Tanoddah is the first gorilla OC I ever created.
- Though I originally wasn’t going to pair her up with Red, they do (eventually) develop a romantic relationship in Before The Storm.
- Part of the inspiration for Tanoddah’s new character role comes from Red in Revelations: Whereas Red is manipulative and violent and has no qualms with killing other apes out of anger, Tanoddah is observant and calm and will likely only kill if it is necessary. She does not manipulate other apes however, she is manipulative towards Colonel McCullough and the AO soldiers-perhaps to make them think she’s under their control.
- Both Red and Tanoddah have a desire for survival. Except Tanoddah will not kill, harm or enslave other apes in order to ensure her own safety.
- In Before The Storm, Tanoddah is brought to the base along with her colony of gorillas and her parents are killed by the Colonel, who later brainwashes her into killing the leader of her colony.
- In role-play-verse, Tanoddah would likely have a role similar to Bad Apes: Both being lone apes but while one is found by Caesar, Luca, Maurice and Rocket, the other is found by the AO army and is mistaken as one of Caesar’s apes. In Tanoddah’s case, she would be in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
- As Tanoddah appears as a supporting character later in the story (despite appearing in early chapters), she, like Gavin and Nemo, are completely moldable and explorable in RP’s.
- Out of all the Donkeys in the AO army, Tanoddah is the only one who isn’t from Caesar’s colony, is not a follower of Koba’s and doesn’t harbor any resentment towards Caesar or his apes.
- On her own, Tanoddah likely would not kill a human. She would avoid them but will only kill a human if they were attacking her.

Personality:
As an infant and young child, Lucy was a handful! She could never sit still or stay quiet for long and always had find something to play with. She wasn’t necessarily a mischievous child or caused trouble, she just didn’t understand the concept of ‘not playing’. She was generally a very playful and happy child. She never grew out of her curiousness, however.
As she grew into her preteen and teenage years, Lucy (understandably) started asking questions. After all the ‘I was adopted and I have two fathers’ questions were answered, she started asking about humans.
Despite Red and Winter telling her about the war, and about how the humans tortured and imprisoned the apes before Caesar liberated them, Lucy was still fascinated by humans and wanted to learn more about them-how they lived, where they lived, how they saw the world, why they harmed apes.
It was this fascination that led to Lucy collecting and storing various human artifacts in an old human dwelling, not far from the Ape Village. She would later start wearing an old human earring, which would give her the sign name ‘L’ with ‘earring’.
Aside from her collecting human things, Lucy would also develop an interest in necklaces, braces, beads and earrings and often come up with different concept ideas for ape jewelry (including one that involved turning a dead scorpion into a bracelet-which didn’t work as the body eventually fell apart and also freaked/weirded her fathers out to no end).
If this were a real life person, what would they be doing right now?: If Lucy were human, I can picture her having a jewelry making hobby and spending hours learning about extinct species or lost cities and old cultures in museums.
Some Extra Notes:
- It is (currently) unknown what happened to Lucy’s biological parents or if they abandoned her or if they died (their causes of death could presumably be do to humans killing them or heat, exhaustion and starvation from being in the desert).
- This is a coincidence but Lucy has the same name as the Australopithecus (Lucy) fossil that was found in Ethiopia.
- Unlike her brothers (Akinli and Frost), Lucy is not a What if? Kid and is not biologically related to Red and Winter. Making her existence plausible in any role-play or fanfic.
- Due to her fascination with humans, it can be assumed that Lucy could and would befriend a human. Albeit, hesitant and with her guard up.
- Lucy’s character is inspired by Ariel from The Little Mermaid (although she has a much better relationship with her father’s than Ariel has with King Triton).

Here’s another What if? KId! (the last one was a What if? Kid too but still!)
Name: Frost (signed: ‘F’ with ‘bite’)
Also known as: Frostbite
Age: Depends on use
Species: Gorilla
Gender: Male
Relatives:
Parents: Red and Winter (fathers)
Siblings: Akinli (older brother) and Lucy (younger adopted sister)

Enemies: Humans (like the ones he heard about in stories) and most other apes.
Loyalty: Caesar’s Colony (though have mixed feelings about it)/Depends on use
Personality:
From the time he was little, Frost had a habit of biting when angry or frustrated. He’d bite both of his fathers, his brother, his sister AND other ape children and adults, sometimes drawing blood in the process. It got to the point where most children were afraid of him and adults would shun him, seeing him as a ‘problem child’. Even Akinli and Lucy rarely played with him. Initially this behavior was dismissed as a phase but as Frost grew, so did his aggression.
Between the time he grew from a child to a teen, Frost had become notorious for bitting other apes, getting into nasty fights, and having little to no respect for authority figures. Most of it was provoked from the ‘Donkey Spawn’ comments and insults towards his family but it’s never too hard to accuse Frost as the aggressor. When Frost learned of his parent’s past treachery, it made sense to him. He finally understood why his family were hated so much. However, unlike Akinli, he became angry…But his anger wasn’t directed at his fathers…It was directed at the colony, believing they used their resentment towards his parents as an excuse to unfairly treat him and his brother and sister.
As a young adult, Frost is very closed off. Not trusting anyone he see’s. Impulsive and cynical, He had long decided that if the colony refused to see him as anything more or less than a troublemaker, than he’d be just that. Much like Red, Frost doesn’t care for Caesar or his rule-though he never really cared for what Koba stood for either.
Due to his aggression and his record for fighting, Frost is often called ‘Frostbite’ after his bitting tendency. He has few friends because of it, though he doesn’t really care. In his opinion, if the colony rejected him than he’d reject them as well.
If this were a real life person, what would they be doing right now?: If he were a real life human, Frost would most likely be a high school/college drop out with a bad record and spending most of his time away from home. His relationships with his parents and siblings being as bad as his temper.
Some Extra Notes:
- Viper, Frost and Akinli are all What if? Kids and are biologically related to their families so their existence is pretty much impossible which means they likely would not be used in role-plays (unless theres an explanation for their existence) but they (and creating What if? Kids) could be a topic of discussion.
- Frost inherits his fur coloring and albinism from Winter but inherits his looks (and the majority of his personality) from Red.
- It can be assumed that Frost may not be content with living in Caesar’s colony (I have not yet decided if he would be a villain or a deserter but he could go in either direction).
- The scar on Frost’s facs could have come from a fight (either with an animal or another ape). It’s currently undecidied.

And now, the rise of my gorilla OC’s...I actually didn’t realize how many of my OC’s are gorillas. XD

Personality:
As an infant and toddler, Akinli was very docile and loved being held and snuggled with. Though he was shy when meeting new people, he loved to play with other ape children. Despite being bullied by peers, he was never aware of the dislike and resentment the colony had towards his fathers or their crimes until his teen years when he learned why others called him ‘Donkey Spawn’.
Both Akinli and his brother, Frost, were called this by adult apes from the time they were little but never understood what it meant by that point. Learning the truth sent Akinli into an identity crises as he was seeing that his fathers were traitors to the colony and his brother was falling into the same category. It made him wonder if he would end up like them, especially since he had the same ability to read other apes that allowed Red to manipulate those he knew. It made him very anxious and depressed for a long time.
By the time Akinli was a young adult, he fully accepted that the crimes of his fathers were their choices and Frost’s choices were also his and his alone. He could disagree with those choices and be angry about them but they weren’t Akinli’s to make. He also accepted that the colony may never fully forgive his parents or accept his family as equals but he wasn’t going to let them change who he was either.
The few friends Akinli has knows him as a gentle and kind-hearted ape. Despite being trained, he doesn’t want to join the Gorilla Guard as he doesn’t believe in fighting-though he will be assertive if need be. Akinli also use’s his talent to read people to connect with them rather than use it to manipulate them. He’s genuinely a good ape.
If this were a real life person, what would they be doing right now?: If he were a real life human, Akinli would be a college student studying to be a Social Worker while currently working at an ice cream place to earn a little extra money. When he’s not at school or at work, he would be in his room reading books.
Some Extra Notes:
- Akinli and Frost are both What if? Kids. Meaning, they are biologically related to Red and Winter, which means their existence is very unlikely. They aren’t meant to be taken seriously anyway, they were created in celabration of the Red x Winter shipping.
- Akinli is the second What if? Kid I created for Planet of The Apes.
- Unlike his fathers, Akinli is neither cowardly or manipulative.
- Akinli inherits his looks from Winter but his fur-coloring is inherited from Red.
- Akinli would likely be content with living in Caesar’s colony and having a non-violent or non-manipulating lifestyle.
