OOC - Regarding KnowledgeKeepers:

I think I finally feel more comfortable so... @ask-knowledgekeepers is now unhidden and should be available to view again.

Expect a ton of changes and reworking of how the blog looks and probably functions. I might put out a few polls to figure out how I should go about certain things.

I don't know when I'll be continuing the story however. It's not on my priority list because I'm a tad unhappy with it, the entire story needs both a major rewrite and an overhaul.

I don't think I'll be rebooting it, I don't want to lose any of the current story progress. So I might just push through the rest of the Pretender arc because afterwards I can start fresh with new ideas, and give it a soft reset. Progress intact but the story changed from its 'original' plan. But, yeah.

Hi hello, Hi. I just wanted to say, thank you for that ask but I do not think this will go over too well so I will not be answering it in character. Ivy is already very upset.

In fact, this would not go well AT ALL, Ivy would get EXTREMELY upset if you asked her this.

I don't think she could honestly handle someone asking her that without just completely breaking down about it. North (and Wisteria) are extremely sensitive topics for her and to come out of the gate and ask her something this directly (in character) is not okay. I've made it clear multiple times that this upsets her.

I understand how that could have been unclear as Ivy doesn't show emotions at all. She does this for a reason, it's on her "Discovered facts" page.

But I try to indicate her mood a lot despite this.

Such as when I added this after Ivy explained her predicament.

That was a very traumatizing thing to talk about. It might have not seemed that way while she was talking as she was quite nonchalant about it, but I assure you she was upset after.

She also has a mood indicator on her Ask Hints page.

Ivy currently has an upset status.

To address her as Wisteria, and instantly name-drop North while she is already upset is not okay.

To further ask her to change into a form that she has also expressed stresses her out and then to assumingly say something to North (who is "dead" in her mind) is not okay either.

I also made this known:

To Ivy, you're asking her to change into her dead friend and then pretend she is that dead friend.

Ivy doesn't think she's North, Ivy actually doesn't think she's Wisteria either. Calling her North or Wisteria, when she doesn't know you is a little fucked up. Just a little bit.

I admit I let this slide in my Noir post. But that's because Noir knows her, she knows Noir. She loved Noir a lot, that's her dad. I admit I said she would respond "normally" (in quotes) to being called Wisteria but this was taking it to the next level by bringing North into the mix.

All in all. What I'm trying to say is. This is not a good idea and will never be a good idea to ask her. Please don't ask her this,,,

"Wisteria...?" Noir called out to the mismagius seeing the face as he gulped "You are wisteria correct ?" he asked almost carefully the feeler reaching out to the ghost type giving soft caress on cheek "What happened...?" he was stunned to see the emotionless pokemon before shaking his head pulling Ivy in a gentle hug "Sorry, I didnt mean to ask so bluntly... I feel like you need this..." he chuckled softly "Im here for you, you know ?"

Ivy seemed to calm down at the Sylveon's reassuring words, she just nervously looked away and muttered a faint "I'm sorry."

She cringed as his ribbon touched her cheek, for some odd reason, the ghost was expecting something worse. Though she wasn't sure why. From what she could recall about him, Noir wasn't a cruel or mean Pokemon. Though she couldn't be sure, her memories of them were a bit hazy.

Ivy instantly backed away at the question, she looked like she was about to say something but quickly went silent. Her gaze fell to the floor as she refused to answer. Noir didn't seem to push the matter either much to her relief. However, She didn't have time to react before Noir pulled her into a loving but firm hug.

She quietly sniffled as tears began streaming down her face, it'd been so long since she cried. Years even, now that she was she couldn't seem to stop herself. As all the memories began to flood back Ivy cuddled into Noir's hug, despite the sudden emotional pain she was hit with, she was glad someone she knew from the past was here to at least soothe it.

→ Ivy will now respond "normally" to those who know her as Wisteria. → Noir has been added to her [Family] on the Relationships Page. → Ivy is unavailable for asks until further notice.

For those who do not know who Noir is, Noir is one of the Pokemon who adopted Wisteria (Now Ivy) on @ask-north. She considers them to be one of her parents. Wisteria cared a lot for Noir, her one wish was for him to not forget her.

If you enjoyed this post even slightly you have Sleepy to thank for that! They're the one that originally came up with the interaction. They were even kind enough to doodle it out then send me this ask, I just adapted it into my own style and added my own flare to it.

This post has been in the works since January of this year, I had to redraw this twice due to being unhappy with my style and the flow. I'm very pleased to finally feel confident enough to post it.

I'm also happy to say this will be the last Ivy-related ask I will be answering (for now). For those sick of Ivy, I'm sure you're very glad to hear that. I love her a lot, and I'm very annoying about it. I understand. I know you've all stuck with me this long and I'm very thankful for that, especially with my ups and downs of returning only to disappear into the void again.

I did have a majority of the "Pretender" arc drawn and sketched and ready to go but I scrapped it due to a random sudden hate for how my art style looked. I unfortunately still have a lot of confidence issues with my art that I'm trying to work through. I just want y'all to know all of your love for my art and story really helped me gain it back. Knowing people like my content brings me so much joy, I hope I can continue to share the world and story I've built with everyone here.

And also, I assure you there are only Klaus-centered posts from here on. Well... until after a certain event happens that will bring the Pretender act to a close. Then I have to drag Ivy back in, Sorry not sorry! She doesn't sit in the Main character's box for nothing. /lh You'll get to meet her granddaughter very soon along with a little gremlin cat. 🤭

Update - Changes to Old Story posts

I'm happy to announce all the previous story posts that were hidden are officially available again to be viewed!

Due to some extreme discomfort from me looking at my old art, the following post art has been updated.

Wow, it's really that time already? Happy pride month y'all! I'll be posting these in batches and boy do I have a bunch for you guys let's start off with our currently revealed characters!

Klaus is Agender and Pansexual! He/They Pronouns

Ivy is Asexual and Panromantic with She/they pronouns as a Pokemon, and Agender with They/she pronouns as a human!

Tiny Update - Format change + Minor Changes regarding Story posts

Thank you for your opinions!

Most story posts/asks will now be in the "Comic-like format" From now on, I'll make sure to try mixing them together for those who had a preference for a single image format. But I appreciate the feedback!

"I supposed that's a pretty cool trick itself then! Floating things has to be one of the easiest things you can do with magic. It's one of the first things you learn!" "So I never really thought of it as anything interesting to look at, If you like that I'm more than happy to float things for you! Hehehe." She gave a cheerful smile before she hummed quietly in thought. "Oh! And everyone has a unique color of magic, So I guess it could be pretty entertaining to ask magic users to float things for you just to see what their magic color is!"

"Um... Uh... wait. I'm getting distracted again..." Ivy went silent before cringing, "This brain. It's distracting." She seemed almost distressed for a moment. Oh looks like that ghost didn't have any cool tricks after all... "Unfortunately, I don't really have any neat tricks." Ivy gave a soft sigh, she seemed a tad disappointed for not having anything noteworthy to show. Much different from her previously uncaring Pokemon form. "All my magic spells serve a purpose and I don't think you'd really wanna see an attack or random spell. So, I can't do anything entertaining Unless you count turning into a human."
